If they are offering such a great customer service, I believe they dont mean any wrong, they are just facing issues due to the current environment with labor shortage. Do give them a try and ask for JT, if you have any issues. That rep needs a raise if the owner is listening.Previous Post - The lawn service is terrible. They did not show up for 3 weeks after their last 2 week cycle and scheduled my house each day of the week and then canceled every single day. I gave them time, understanding that their might be issues Finally, after 3 weeks I emailed them about the issue, that this is not acceptable and I got fined by my HOA and the overgrowth will more difficult now to take care of. They promise me on email that they will come out the same day or the next day.But lo and behold, they did not turn up the same day. I called them the next day and still they cannot promise if they can mow my lawn. After 2-3 calls, they finally told me that they can confirm the mowers will come out but cannot tell me the time, after pushing the rep, he told me that they wont be there until 5 PM. Even when I stated that I need to be moved up I the priority list, the customer rep just said that he cannot do that. I just went ahead and canceled them. Not reliable at all, poor customer service, the customer service rep wont even transfer me to his manager and did not even try to retain me as a customer, and was like ok, if you want to cancel, we will cancel.On top of this, with my new company, I have to pay double the price for mowing, because the 3 week overgrowth is above 6. Called for a quick service and Reed responded immediately. They answered all my detailed questions, such as edging and bagged grass. Got my yard cut fast even with all these daily rain. Great straight edging lines and super blown clean driveway. Received communication emails regarding my service date and a final email stating service was completed. Use “Fresh Lawn” and ask for Reed, because they can get the job done! R. Comeaux
I have been pleased for the most part with the service. I just get the lawn mowed without additional services. They do a decent job but I continue to ask for them to let me know when they are coming so I can make sure my dogs are not outside and am never notified other than the day they will come.On the positive, they are always good about closing gates and not using the mowers to shove gates open and closed as some have in past, damaging the gates.
Had my wife try to book a simple mow and edge job, they scheduled it out 1 week. Ok, youre a busy company, I get it. A week later, they no call, no show. Wife calls again, they reschedule for 3 days later. No call, no show. Lawn is getting pretty overgrown.Rinse and repeat not 1, not 2, but 3 more times before we finally give up and go with another lawn service company after being promised by Fresh Lawn that they would be there 5 separate times. Ended up having to pay extra to the lawn service we went with because the yard was completely out of control by this time.The cherry on top was that Fresh Lawn shows up a week and a half later, after zero communication during that week and a half, in disbelief that we didnt need the yard done anymore. I would not recommend Fresh Lawn to anyone, ever. The only reason theyre getting 1 star is because 0 stars isnt an option.And before the owner hops on here trying to weasel their way out of responsibility, I have screenshots of all of my wifes calls, texts, and emails between us and Fresh Lawn that I will gladly post if they dont own their mistakes and try to improve in the future.
All of the staff was courteous and listened to what needed to be done. Everyone was very nice and attentive. This service is excellent.
We had Fresh Lawn come do our lawn and paid extra to have our weeds pulled in our flower bed. The lawn was mowed but the weeds were ignored.We called to see if someone would come out and complete the job and had a date scheduled 3 days out. They were a no call no show so we rescheduled. Again they did not show and this behavior repeated 4 times in a row.Eventually, my wife suddenly started having trouble getting through whether the phone would ring endlessly or we would get sent to voice-mail. We tried to call from my phone and suddenly we magically got answered.We were fined by the HOA due to long weeds and decided to switch to a different company.Fresh Lawn was ok when it came to just plain mowing the yard. Just dont ask for additional services.
They had stretches when they wouldnt show up. Grass grows unwieldy, you call and they continue to not show up. This is from a customer of several years....dont do it. Spend some extra cash for someone dependable and truthful. Edit: Speaking of truthful the owner is being less than that below. They told me no such thing...only 3 times that they would be there and then didnt show. So get your story straight first, sir.
I have been using this service for a little over a year now after leaving my last service as it was falling a little out of my budget and I have to say that they really out-do themselves whenever I get my yard treatment! Whether it be when I request them to mow, pickup my leaves, or help weed in front of my house I am always satisfied by the results. Really appreciate all the help! 😊😊
Very happy about the service done to my lawn, and it was affordable! Ive had a few other services in the past but they all roped me into contracts I wanted out of after a few bad jobs.. Very fortunate to have them in my area!
I scheduled to use their services and keep getting emails that someone is going to show up on a particular day that they choose not me and they never do. I keep calling the phone numnot reliable all. I keep calling and no one ever answers. I DONT recommend this company!!!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS “COMPANY.”Despite posting in big bold letters on their website that they are INSURED, they clearly are not.The subcontractor (fresh laws IS NOT a lawn care company in truth, but an Uber-like on demand service) had a rock kick up and break one of mywindows.Fresh Lawns didn’t bother to contact me.I had to hunt them down over the course of several weeks. Eventually, they sent an email - rather than actually speak with me - saying that they are not liable.Their explanation of why is a small line in their email confirmation, which attempts to suggest they are not responsible for “debris, rocks or broken windows.I’m taking the company to court in the next few weeks.
Really satisfied with the job done on my lawn. Customer service answered all my questions in a timely manner as well.

Buyer beware, do not give these guys your credit card number. They write down credit card numbers on pen and paper in the office.. everyday they run their credit card servicers to charge you and sometimes they double charge customers. The owner is going bankrupt and both of them have committed insurance fraud with their equipment. They steal overtime money from their employees and modify their paycheck stubs or even sometimes dont give them out. This company is failing and is going out of business so theyre trying every marketing strategy known to man to pick themselves up..

It definitely seems I am good company with my review. I waited a week to insure that Olivia, the accounts manager, had some time to review my emails and get back to me. She has not and I do not see her doing so anytime in the near future.A month ago I contacted Fresh Lawn to take care of the lawn service at my home. I was told that a cut for the home and leaf bagging would be $35 plus tax bi weekly. They came out and did a mediocre job. They bagged two bags of leaves, did not leaf blow the whole patio and back yard area and completely refused to cut any of the grass on the side of the house. I sent images of the issues and I was told that this would be noted on my account and in two weeks all would be fixed. It gets better.Two weeks passed and they returned. Yet again the side of the house was not cut and if you look youll see a water bottle in the leaves. That was there from the first mow. Left it there on purpose to see if they were paying attention. Nope. Also the backyard was trash. Weeds growing left and right and they just left them. I emailed again and was told the lady who I had been speaking with was no longer with Fresh Lawn. They apologized for the issues and swore to fix them. That I would be refunded for the last mow and all the issues from the past month would be fixed with a special crew coming to cut the weeds and take care of the leaves the next day.The next day came and no crew by 8pm. I got an email letting me know that my mow had been bumped and someone would come the next day. The next day came and a crew finally showed up. They sat outside of my home for 10 mins in their truck. No one got out. They were on their phones and then they left. I found that quite odd. So I called Fresh Lawn. They were just as surprised as me as to why no one mowed or cleaned up the leaves. They apologized and called dispatch to figure out what happened.I was told that I was quoted the wrong price initially. That the crew, even though they never got out of the truck, felt that the leaves were too much work and they werent going to do it. They didnt even go into the back yard to attempt to cut the weeds they let grow for the past month. They said it would be $150 but since they have messed up they could offer me a discount and have someone come out immediately for $120. I told them I was very upset that no one reached out to me to let me know about all of this. That a simple call or email could have clarified all of this. Even if there was an issue that good customer service says you just eat the cost, fix the problem and keep a customer. Not with Fresh Lawn. They do not care.I emailed Olivia the accounts supervisor and let her know about my situation and how disappointed I was. No response. Now we have this review. There are too many great people and companies who work hard and want your money. I do not chase down people to give them my money. That is crazy. Subpar work. Subpar customer service. Subpar core values and leadership. This here is the epitome of Fresh Lawn. Save your money, time and patience. Find someone who actually cares about their clients and their business. Avoid at all costs! You will be sorry.
Nothing but constant problems with this company. I was charged 71$ and they did not even show up. Manager or owner has reached out to me in the past and asked me to delete a negative review, but I don’t think that will be the case this time. How hard is it to mow a lawn on schedule every two weeks? I’m just so confused.
I contacted the service several times over the course of months about the problematic areas in the photos below. They continued to ignore the areas allowing them to overgrow. When someone finally responded to a support message I was told they would handle 2 of the 3 areas but would need to give me a quote on the bushes.None of the Areas were addressed and the bushes were quoted at $120 and an additional $30 fee to haul away debris.I found this unacceptable and when I went to cancel my service, found I had to contact them directly and wait for a response for my service to be canceled instead of it just being a viable option from the menus.In short, false promises, bad response to customer requests and overpriced additional work). Do not use this service, it is an automated service meant to drain your account with sub-par service for months before requiring you to hump through hoops to remove your payment information.

I used Fresh Lawn on and off for about three years. I recently decided to do two-week service of my front and backyard. Last week they came and cut my yard, but didnt cut the back. I forgot to call and decided to call today.When I called, I spoke to McKenzie. I told her what the issue was. She informed me that because it was a week later, it would be a problem to get a crew to come back and cut the yard. I said, okay, well, Id like to request a credit because clearly my backyard wasnt cut. She told me shed have to send it to their A/P dept. and request it.All I wanted to know is when I should follow up. She couldnt give me an answer. I said, okay, well, is there someone else I could speak to that would know the answer to my question. She said there is, but Im not allowed to give their information. I said, well, whos your manager? She told me she couldnt give that information either. I then asked her, well, who over you can I speak with? She said she would be the only person I could speak to and then proceeded to get an attitude.I requested that my service be canceled. Her attitude was unnecessary and cost them business. Completely horrible service when all I wanted was a date to follow up.

I actually wasn’t going to respond and put the reason why I put a one star. But I see that the owner actually commented saying that this was a fake review. I asked these people to come cut my grass every two weeks and they are constantly sending me people that don’t know what they’re doing, don’t weed eat my yard, and young with push mowers when I have a huge yard. Yesterday, they came when they were supposed to and actually took down a fence that I had around a vegetable garden and proceeded to cut over it. To make matters worse instead of apologizing or saying that they did it I come home to my garden completely mowed over with the fence put right back like I wouldn’t notice the squash and tomato plants were gone. To the owner who responded: I’m not a fake. Go ask your support team about Alexandra Hernandez. They have my emails along with pictures.Do better Sir
I am so happy I finally found a lawn company that I am happy with. I have been with them a while now but before i found them I used a lot of other company’s I was unhappy with.They have a text feature that makes scheduling so much easier and seamless. I have really tried to give this company a try...but everytime I have hope, they stay further and further away from great service they provided when I first started. The wait time is horrible when calling. For whatever reason, as a company, you have to be proactive during these times to keep your business going to not just aquire new customers, but retain your loyal customers.My suggestion to this company is the consideration of investing in lean practices which highlights customer value. Once you have adopted lean, you can provide more efficient and effective customer service to your clients especially with virtual transition. If you advertise you do a good job and gaurentee 100% then you need to live up to what you advertise consistently.Update: I spoke with Andy after being contacted by JT via text. Thanks for the follow-up. I recognize Andys voice and honestly he always provide the BEST service and he listens. He is the lifeline of this company as it relates to service. I have used them several years. Yesterday they sent a crew that spent an hour...doing my neighbors yard! Im now anticipating a big fight over a big erroneous charge. Service was once excellent but has evidently undergone management change. Now they are only proficient at summer edge/mow. In fall and winter They charge hourly rather than flat fee. They work 16 minutes and round up to 30. Several times I come home to discover they have blown leaves into beds rather than remove from lawn. (They have only one hard working And honest employee. Ask for Luis Dominquez) But generally customer service agents do not care about courtesy or service. I dont think they can remain in business long. Im shopping
I have used this company for 5 years. I was very happy in the beginning. Then in 2017 they broke my windows by throwing rocks into my 3 floor to ceiling windows with their weed eater. After promising to pay through their insurance - it is now months later and they are referring me to the contractor they hired to get payment for the damaged windows. Yet, they advertise being fully insured.Shocking how they treat a long term customer.STAY AWAY!
After 6 yrs of service with this company I am saying Goodbye to them and thier new,rude,and bad customer service staff.They used to value customers,listen to what you had a complaint about and did what the could to fix the issueThe girl whom now answers the phone acts as if she personally is there when they do your lawn. Called to make a complaint and although I was home watched him do my yard she argued with me that he did something he did not. When ask to speak to someone else or the name of her boss informed me she would not and could not give me the information.And she was the only one in the office. Imagine that!
I signed up through their site on 07/20 and requested first available time for a now. They mowed the wrong yard and charged me on 07/29. I was told they would send someone out 07/30. It is now 08/04 and they won’t respond to emails or answer the phone. I requested a refund yesterday so I can use another company that will show up, but no response. I recommend steering clear of this company.
I contacted this company first on 01/21/2020 for vacant lot maintenance. Received a quote and was told someone would go out that day to take a look at the property. Today is 01/29/2020, no one has been able to take a look at the property yet. I sent almost daily emails requesting a status update. Every time I was told tommorow someone will go to the property and take a look. All your company emails simply state someone will go take a look tomorrow has I have stated. Just bc you think it was misquoted doesnt mean you should be able to raise it after 2 years of service.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Been using FL for the better part of 5-6 years and at 2 different properties. My issue is that sometimes when they come out and its a person unfamiliar with the property, they dont cut what theyre suppose to and Ive been told its all in the notes. So bc I see its not cut when I get home, they come back out later on in the week. Ive had them leave gates unlatched before and one time my dogs figured out the gate wasnt closed and got out, so I spent an hour wrangling them back. Other times they come out and do a fine job. My new issue is that theyve been out to survey what needs to be cut and quoted the price for the work to be done. Its been that way for a couple years at least. Now all of a sudden they say my price is increasing $20 as Im switching them from bi-monthly to once a month. Explanation Im given is that my lot was misquoted. Last year for once a month wasnt terrible on price, this year its going to go up bc of that misquote. Its not my fault yall priced it the way you did. You knew what was being done and gave me a price and I accepted. The agreement should stand until I cancel service.

The first time we used Fresh Lawn it was wonderful - customer service was fantastic and we were pleased with their work. The second time was a different story and we wont be using them again. Not sure if theres new management or what has changed, but customer service was less than helpful and lawn looks better but not what I would expect for the price. I called for an appointment Tuesday and was told theyd come by Thursday latest but couldnt give me an eta. Later Tuesday evening I received an email saying they would be here Wednesday. So, I put our dog in his crate and left our driveway gate and back yard gate open in case they came while I was away. They never showed up. Thursday came around and same deal - I put our dog in his crate and left gates open in case they came while I was away. I got a call from the office a little before noon saying theyd be here within 30-45 min. At almost 2p I called to see what was going on as they hadnt arrived yet and as the rep was in the middle of telling me they must be late they pulled up. As I mentioned before, the service was not worth the money. We typically take care of our lawn ourselves and think next time I will hire a sitter for the kids while I take care of it as it will be money better spent.

Absolutely unreliable service. They just dont show up when they are supposed to and make no call as to what is going on. When I call to complain, no one answers, and I leave a message. No one calls back. I have to call again; they promise they will come out, and no one does. I do not recommend.Update: After I cancelled my service and posted this review, they came out and mowed, and charged me for it. I got a call from them, saying they DID mow yesterday, but that was not true. My Ring doorbell proves it. They came out to mow only after I had called three times (the last time to cancel my service) and had written this review.

Do NOT I repeat Do NOT use this company! If I could give no stars I would. I’ve used this lawn mowing service for three months now on a biweekly schedule. They are going to get their money before they ever preform the service. Two weeks ago my account was drafted and I had to wait 10 days prior to my yard ever being cut. When I finally got someone in the office to answer the phone (after multiple attempts three business days in a row) the customer service representative ensured me they never take payment prior to the service. Then she discovered the mowers went to the wrong house and charged me for it. I was promised that my biweekly schedule would be adjusted due to their mistake but here I am with money taken out of my account and my yard not needing to be mowed since it’s only been five days that they were here last. If I can ever get someone on the phone during business hours I will be cancelling my contract with them. I advise anyone looking for lawn care service to NOT use this company!

I gave this service a second try after I had a less than professional experience with another service. The first time with Fresh Lawn Mowing, I had crews that would not show up for service at all so I left.Today I had an excellent experience with a great crew who made sure I was satisfied with the job they just completed before leaving. I have scheduled my next service with the same crew. It goes to show that when you express a concern, someone is listening and cares about the customer experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! I REQUESTED AND RECIEVED A QUOTE FOR FRONT AND BACK YARD PLUS MULCH PUT IN GARDEN BEDS. I CALLED TWICE THROUGHOUT THE DAY BECAUSE I WAS NEVER GIVEN A TIME THEY WOULD BE AT MY RESIDENCE. AT 530PM I RECEIVED A TEXT SAYING JOB HAD BEEN COMPLETED. I WAS FURIOUS BECAUSE NOBODY HAD BEEN TO MY HOME!!! TWO PEOPLE SHOWED UP AT 630PM AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE JOB AND WOULD COME BACK TOMORROW TO FINISH!!! MY INVOICE WAS 178.00 DOLLARS!!!!!! I DIDNT PAY AS THE JOB WAS NOT COMPLETED, LEAVES WERE NOT PICKED UP, MULCH WAS NOT DONE IN ANY OF THE GARDEN BEDS. THE INVOICE NEEDS SERIOUS ADJUSTMENTS! I have been using fresh lawn service for a good long time. I enjoy the person that fresh lawn service send me. Emmanuel is great in doing his work he does a 100% plus job. Emmanuel takes prided in his work like an artist does with his painting. If I could give 10 stars to fresh lawn service I would but cant do it 5 stars is the highest a person can give. I highly recommend fresh lawn service to anyone who needs their lawn mowed. The price is awesome the best price I have ever paid for a lawn service. I have utilized this lawn care company since 2013. Lately, they have declined in their professionalism, punctuality and work ethic. They have postponed their cutting services for days and show up days later to try to upcharge the fee based on their negligence. It is not the customers fault that they are short handed and/or Houston weather. Some cancellations were due to inclement weather and others due to unreliable employees that have left the company. Regardless, we were home every day to witness their lack of services. We were home to unlock the gate on their scheduled date. We also have cameras so we know which days they did not show up. I am completely disappointed in the company. They sent weather reschedules and also stated they were short handed via email, so they would come out the next day. I kept every email they sent based on their cancellations. When the crew finally showed up after 4 days, they said they need to double my charges. Its unacceptable. Ive been a loyal customer for over 6 years. They were a great company over a year ago. Even when they were not perfect, I stayed with them. But from the recent ordeal this week, I can not stay silent nor stay around to get screwed. I have contacted management. No response as of July 20, 2019.
Last year I contacted Freshlawn about cleaning up my flowerbed (weeding, trimming shrubs, and general flowerbed maintenance). I never hired them as I decided to wait. This year I decided to reach out again for the same thing. I filled out an online request and was immediately contacted by Ibette and over the course of a week (me following up) after sending pictures and begging them to come out by me following up with getting an estimate through several emails. They finally sent out a crew and I did get an estimate and hired them. Their crew returned promptly on the agreed upon date and started working without informing me they were here. Then when they finished, they left without letting me know or review their work to ensure it was with my satisfaction. Most companies will ensure you get to look over the work prior to leaving unless agreed upon otherwise. I will say, I did like the work they did, however, customer service was lacking.
I’ve been using this company since I first moved to this area. They did great in Highlands, Houston and now in Baytown. I have nothing negative to say about them. They are human and do the best they can. My yard always looks good.
I had some issues with the company after moving to a new location but the owner reached out to me after filing a complaint. I am very appreciative of the steps that not only he made but his staff as well. He was very attentive and thorough. I think once the glitches get worked out for this area they will no doubt rate 5 stars! I would recommend as they are reasonably priced and the landscaping work is very good.
I used this company for years with no problems and then moved out of town. When I returned a couple of months ago we hired them again. The first incident was them charging us for not mowing the lawn. When I investigated they showed me picture of my neighbors lawn. I had to send pictures of my un-mowed lawn to get them to come out and make it good. This took 4 back and forth phone calls with them having an attitude the entire time. This week they showed up a day early. Our dog was in the yard so they decided to leave without ringing the bell to see if we were home. My husband was home and heard them, spoke to them and brought the dog in. They left without mowing the lawn. I called the office and after 2 calls with more attitude as if I was the one in the wrong, and requesting to speak to a manager I finally got one to call me back. He said the crew was on lunch break and thats why they didnt mow the lawn when they were there. Who takes lunch at 10am? We fired them on the spot. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY CLEARLY DONT LIKE THEIR CUSTOMERS. Even though the company said in its response they did not charge me, thats not true. They did.
I just watched Fresh Lawn mow my yard. I’m impressed! They’ve been servicing our yard for a couple of months now, but I’ve usually missed being here when they came. The yard always looked good when it was done, but now I know why. The man who mowed the yard took care. He used two different types of edging equipment for just the right results. Even though the mowing machine was quite large, the operator never hit a single bush or tree with it. The mulch that I so painstakingly put in my flower beds – is still there. He lowered the speed of the blower when he got close to the beds and didn’t blow out the mulch. This guy gets my vote. He’s great. And one last bonus, there wasn’t a bag of lawn clippings left on my driveway for the neighborhood committee to complain about.

I would definitely recommend trying Fresh Lawn. Ive tried other lawn care services, but ended up choosing Fresh Lawn. Their customer service has been top notch, the lawn has never looked better, and the pricing as good (if not better) than the other services Ive used over the years.Having the ability to service my account over an app is nice, and updates frequent about billing and lawn service has been great. When Ive been out of town, Ive never been concerned that my lawn was actually serviced when I was billed (like I have been with my last lawn service).I will be staying with Fresh Lawn Service as long as I live in one of their service areas. I was satisfied until recently, noticed they hadn’t been by in a while so I called to find out when they’d be back, but no one answers the phone. It just says their mailbox is full and hangs up.

I have used Fresh Lawn Service before to install mulch so when it was time to install again I called them. They do a wonderful job and always show up on the scheduled day. Their website makes it easy to schedule service and they auto bill my account so everything is very easy. I would definitely recommend their company. Ask for Katherine. She is very helpful.
Ive used this lawn service for 3-4 years. There have been occasional issues, however. Ive always had a good rapport with the Customer Service Representatives as well as the Owner and several Managers and they are quick to resolve any issues or concerns. They are always kind and considerate. Word of Advice: Make your specifications clear to the Representatives or on-line when scheduling service. I really like their on-line scheduling service. It is easy to use and my questions are always handled in a timely manner. If you have a crew that does a good job on your yard, be sure to let the office know so that they keep that crew on your schedule.
Initially, fresh lawn made an error with getting my service completed; however, they communicated quickly and got my service completed the next day. Overall, the yard looks great and I’m very happy with their work!
The worst company I have ever dealt with! I get a call the night before to schedule the service and tell them on the form online that I have two dogs and they need to call me before they come, perfect. Then the person starts to tell me about additional charges and one time fees. I agree to them and she explicitly asks me if the lawn is overgrown, I told her yes. A couple of times actually. Anyway, the cost ends up being double what I quoted. Fine, I agreed to it. I ask the lady and confirm that on the request it is written that they need to call me before they come in because of my dogs. She says yes, no problem.The next morning when the service is supposed to be performed, I have to jump out of bed because I hear one of my dogs barking aggressively. I go outside to see whats going on and its the lawn guy. He tells me he cant cut it because the lawn is overgrown. I tell him I know, thats why I paid so much extra and told the girl over the phone when I scheduled the service. He asks me how much I paid and when I tell him, he proceeds to tell me that he has to call the company.He LEAVES MY BACKYARD GATE OPEN and goes to his car, and I get a call from the company saying they have to charge me more and they wont be cutting my grass today because of the overgrowth. That just infuriated me! I explicitly told them that it was overgrown and that they needed to be prepared for that. They charge me extra the night before, in preparation for that. Youre supposed to come prepared!!I chew the woman out and tell her everything that went wrong and she said she would refund my money. Well see.... All the while, my backyard gate is still open and my lawn is uncut. Wont ever be calling these people again and wont be referring them to anyone.
I was supposed to have bi weekly service with them. They showed up ONE time. I called and nicely asked to see what day they would be coming back, someone had cancelled my service on their end, they told me someone would come out the next day. I called the next day to confirm. I was told they were on their way to my house. No one came. Then the same thing happened the next 3 days in a row.: I hired someone else. Then received an email saying that my lawn was on the schedule for Monday (an entire week late) and that I could not cancel service. I emailed back with what happened and have not seen a charge on my account yet. Be careful, they have terrible customer service and they lie to you about getting things done.
The services are pretty good. For the price its great. But, dealing with their costumer service wasnt the best experience. We had requested roof cleaning, leaf cleaning and lawn mowing. Even though we were getting billed for it, they consistently left parts of our lawn uncut, leafs everywhere, and pine needles on the roof. When we asked why this was happening. We were told, they dont do pine needle removal from roofs, but when they do they charge $30 for it. ??What?? You offer a service, you bill me for the service, and then say you dont do it?? Thats just insanity! Im sure there was some kind of misunderstanding. They dont offer a consistent crew. We had a different, sub contracted team every time. We once collected all of the pine needles and put them all in one area so that they would pick them all up, and they still just left them there. THEN, we got billed for leaf removal! It was just becoming too much of a hassle to deal with their inconsistencies and excuses. The reason they get two stars and not one, is because, they did show up as expected and what they did do, they did well. I would rather use this company as a one time or as needed bases. They are friendly and will try to provide services at their best ability. Unfortunately, our expectations where higher than their standard. We were helped by Ms, Katherine, Multiple times. As sweet as she is, We just couldnt get what we asked for.
I have used Fresh Lawn Services for quite a while. Nathan just came and did my yard and it looks awesome!!! He pays attention to detail. EDIT: Larry from Fresh Lawn Services did reach out to me an offer to make everything right. I was refunded my money and he offered me a free service. I am very appreciative of his response. At this time I have already arranged an alternate service but in the future would be willing to give them another try.If i could give this company a zero i would. Worst service ever. Contracted to cut lawn, did not but charged me. When i complained they came an blew down the driveway but didnt cut. Had to contact them again. Then they scheduled a cutting which was to early. They claim to have cut the lawn with before and after pictures which werent even from the same areas. I sent them pictures and they have not responded to me. Very quick to take my money but did not fulfill there end of the contract. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
I did have a little issue with the yard service, nothing with the job just some items that were removed and not placed back properly. I was ready to cancel, however the customer service I received from Tamara was exceptional! She handled my request quickly and professionally. She saved this company a customer and also has me recommending this company to my friends in the area. Great job!
Bad mowing company business not ran well. Tip they will charger u for ur lawn when it doesn’t need a mowing they will just edge it and charger you full price for the services they provide you.
GREAT lawn service. I love that I can make changes to my service online. They have been taking care of my lawn since July, and I could not be more pleased. Great attention to detail!
Dishonest. Still billing my credit card long after my contract was ended. Good at first but then lawn guy stopped showing up so I ended the contract. Called before next billing date to confirm cancellation and they affirmed, but then billed my account three more times.
Ive been using these guys for about 5 months and they have been great. They are super quick and consistent. Recently I used their website to pause service for the winter. I was expecting to get a call about it within a couple days. Katherine called me within minutes. Asked me when I want to plan on resuming service and told me my next service once it has resumed will be free. Fantastic customer service. Would definitely recommend.
I had done my research, called around town for a company who not only delivered but installed mulch and Fresh Lawn care exceeded my expectations. Their staff provided excellent service and the lawn guy provided professional customer service for the price I was comfortable paying. I will use them again and recommend them to my friends and family.
I have always prided myself in taking care of my own lawn services, but with increasing responsibilities in my personal life I turned to Fresh Lawn Services. They are very responsive and timely, as well as efficient! Always a job well done - definitely recommend.
Instead of mowing leaves in my yard they blow the leaves into my flower beds and plants making it a lot harder for me to get the leaves out.
Andy, the Customer Service Manager made things right immediately!!! He apologized and took ownership of what happened without excuses. Refunded my money and did the yard the next day. I’m very impressed and I am staying with this company since Andy made things right. Thank you AndyIf I could give them a negative -10, I would... charged for services that I never received. Lied to for 5 days now. Keep staying they will be out the next day. Never showed up, tried to get a hold of the manager but told he is out of the office. Almost a week later still no yard work and no refund!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They will steal your money!!!

Finally found a reputable lawn care company in the Missouri City area that does a good job and is reliable. Love the auto pay option and the email reminders they send weekly the day before service. If you need to make a change you can conveniently do so via a link in the reminder email or on their website. I submitted one tonight to change my weekly service day for this week and Katherine replied within the hour confirming the change was made. Highly recommend Fresh Lawn for mowing service!
Excellent customer service and they are always ready to answer any questions. The direct pay account setup is very for the mowing and edging.You also have the flexibility to change the weekly schedule in winter, when the grass is dormant. The crews are efficient and its a great business to use.

I needed my yard mowed due to the excessive rain. I spoke to a rep named Kathryn and she agreed that the mower would be set to the highest setting, grass clippings would be bagged, an edger would be used to edge lawn, and I would receive a call prior to mowers arrival. None of this occurred that was agreed upon.The lawn mower guys cut my lawn with a dull blade at the lowest setting, scalping my front lawn in various places. They broke the city water meter cover, sprinkler heads and branches off a bush. As for the grass clippings they blew them against my foundation and throughout my flower bed. The edging was done with a weed wacker and that was anything but okay. It took two hours to salvage and repair what could be in my front yard.If you value your yard, dont hire this company. I was informed by a rep that they contract workers they send out. He stated that they usually have great contractors servicing lawns. I guess with this company you never know what youre going to get. Use at your own risk.
Fresh Lawn Mowing service just did the best job ever on my yard! Same day service when I was in a pinch. The Fresh Lawn reps were very professional and went the extra mile to make my yard beautiful for my pool party. They beat the price of my previous company and even followed up to see if I was happy with the job. I couldnt believe the customer service! I will recommend them to all of my friends and family.
We are using Fresh Lawn Mowing Service in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Our first service call was less than stellar, but they sent a service person back out that night who promptly addressed our concerns. Now that they know our yard and our expectations, the service has been excellent, and is an excellent value for the cost.I will continue to use this service and happily recommend them.
Best lawn service available. Automatic payments, just call to set up and you’re good to go. I’ve used this service for 2 years now and I haven’t had a problem.To address some of the other reviews with my own opinion:If you are in danger of overdrafting your account you should not be paying for lawn service. On your day off get out there and mow your own lawn.If you think this company is going to cut your yard and bag your leaves on a quarter acre property for $30 you are mistaken.Most of the negative reviews are from people who have no idea how hard these crews work (IE entitled) and the special attention they pay in your yard to make sure it looks respectable.The one negative thing is that sometimes when you call somebody might not pick up and other times there’s a long hold. But other than that I think that the company is a fair value and they do good enough work that I can trust them with my lawn.
Do not use this company they brook a huge glass in my house and after confronting them they said sorry but can’t do anything I was at the house when it happened and they keep saying I have no prof I have pictures, but they keep telling me they have to talk to the staff that did my back yard. Please do ur self a favor and just don’t use them, they have no manager no customer service no understanding of cleaning up their own mess.

Katherine was extremely helpful and followed up both before and after the service was completed. The guys were out here the day after our service request was submitted and they did an amazing job. I found Fresh Lawn Mowing Service through my online search couple of weeks ago. I talked to Katherine on the phone. She was a sweet lady, very helpful and gave me a reasonable price. Their first service was on Saturday and I was out of town. When I came back, I saw they did an excellent job. I hope they will continue doing the same so that I wont have to go somewhere else. Keep up the good work, guys!
This lawn service is not consistant with there service. I am still waiting on a refund on yard service that was not completed. They are refusing to rein buse me for those funds. 2 payments were taken out of my account. This has gone on 5 months now. Please dont use this service. They lost my gate key and didnt replace that either. Not worth using these people. Please get another yard care service.
I have been very satisfied with Fresh Lawn. They assign different contractors each week for my service who take pictures to document the work done. Katherine at the central email and phone has always been very responsive, even later into the evening. They have always immediately responded to any request, more responsive and timely than most. Fees are paid electronically. The easiest yard service I have had.

Fresh Lawn has been mowing our lawn since we moved into our home. The prices are reasonable. The service is absolutely wonderful. They even planting some beautiful flowers in our front yard. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing lawn service.
Im in San Antonio but spoke with people in Houston to book services 3 days ago. When I called this morning to ask when they might be coming was assured that my lawn would be mowed today. Here we are after their closing hours and my lawn is still not cut... Wish I could say I was surprised
One guy came over and worked EXTRA hard in the hot hot sun to turn my train wreck of a yard into the most beautiful lot in the neighborhood. I feel this guy went above and beyond on this one, really, one guy, mowing, edging, trimming, leaf blowing,...Ive had entire crews put in half the effort. 😊
By far the worst customer service experience Ive ever had.We scheduled an initial service and prepaid as required. Time passed and we assumed the services had been performed, since its not our primary residence. We should never have assumed the best considering we never received any receipt or record stating the service had been completed.Two weeks later we received an email stating our scheduled service would need to be delayed a day, no big deal. Then I started receiving these emails every day, so I went to check the state of the yard. It was well over a foot tall, absolutely no way that happens in a two week period.I submitted a question via their online form and also left a voicemail on a friday. By Tuesday of next week Id still received no contact so I called back. Apparently the team wanted more money because of the height of the grass, but no one ever reached out to the customer (me) and just kept delaying service which of course led to increased height.After arguing with the office staff about the cost I asked for proof of the initial service being completed the two weeks prior. The pictures provided were of the wrong house. When I provided pictures of my residence and asked for actual evidence of service at my residence or for them to complete the job at no additional cost, they responded they had no other evidence and would not perform the service for the original agreed upon process even though it was their mistake.I filed a complaint with the BBB, to which the company never responded. My next steps are small claims court, since I have all our communications in writing.Dont trust this company with your business, they have no integrity.
As a first time user of an online lawn service company i was a bit skeptical with how things would work. I was truly worried about the quality of customer service I would receive due to hearing horror stories of bad service and never being able to speak to a live person. I will say Fresh Lawns has truly surprised me and i am proud to say i will be a long time customer this extends from the call i received from the dispatcher arlette letting me know the crew was in route. She was very nice and professional and goes all the way to the crew that went above and beyond in cutting my lawn. I will definitely recommend Fresh Lawns to all my friends and family!
