Fantastic place to do work out and a very good staff for management. I am regular to this from the last 5 years and never face any problem. Equipments are neat and clean and people are also not loud during work out. Highly recommended place for work out for all group of ages.

I have always enjoyed my experience at this facility. I recently had an issue and it was taken care of by Makayla (not sure about spelling). Her professional demeanor and pleasant energy was greatly appreciated. Peace.

This gym was super convenient for my boyfriend and I as we just moved to the area! It has everything we were looking for in a gym at a great rate. I love that they not only provide all of the equipment necessary for a good workout, but there’s also a studio and classes available to all members. Really glad we found this place!!

I’ve been a member here for a couple years. I joined to achieve my fitness goals and continue to come here bc I genuinely love the staff and the welcoming/encouraging environment! Definitely a great place to start your fitness journey and crush your goals. :)

The gym is always clean and well kept. Flexible hours and not too crowded. Personal trainers are very helpful and knowledgeable as well!

I spoke to an employee, he said any continued charges will be refunded and for me to call my bank and tell them not to allow any charges to continue to go through. I shouldnt have had to say that the account is fraudulant to warrant a response. I should have heard from the manager on Monday like I was told I would have, this is a mismanagement issue. Thank you, and goodbye I will be taking my business to a different gym

I absolutely love this gym.I like the convenience of the location and the fact that it’s not overly crowded .There is a lot of machines and free weights available to you so you don’t have to wait on anyone like you do for the bigger gyms. Everyone there is always super Friendly . Vo works up at the front and he always greets you by name with a smile and is so pleasant to chat with . He originally got me to sign up and I’m so glad He did. I love working out at fitness 19 and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a friendly, clean and well equipped gym.

Just wanted to share my experience with Fitness 19, on Greentree Road. Much like most people, I was really excited about the gym reopening and although I was nervous about the crowds and possibly having to wait in line, that was not the case. I called before I went and was informed by the staff about the procedures for the gym. The optional mask policy is great because even though some people wear masks, I know I couldn’t to work out. The gym is so clean. While I was there working out, I saw the staff member walking around spraying and wiping all the equipment the entire time. Definitely makes me feel better about the other members who might not be as good about cleaning up after themselves. The kids room opened today and when I peeked in, I saw that there were maybe 2-3 kids total. I think they have a sign up system and it’s probably a good idea so it doesn’t get crazy crowded in there. I think overall, it just looks good. Happy to be back in the gym and not walking laps around my neighborhood anymore. Really impressed with how this gym cleaned up. And excited to see how things are when classes start back up!

I understand that your business is not requiring patrons to wear masks. I want everyone to read how irresponsible your business is & you will never receive another $$ from me even after we get the pandemic under control. Not now & not in the future....if you have one.

When initially signing up for a membership the staff was aggressive and the sales guy incorrectly filled out my form. I had to have two managers sign the paperwork to have it corrected. Cancelling a membership required going to the branch in person to sign (difficult when hospitalized then quarantined). Staff was extremely rude and pushy. After cancelling, they continued to charge my account every month, including the additional annual service fee, until I filed disputes and had a new credit card issued.EDIT: it should also make any prospective member very wary of joining, that ownership will try to look back into member data to try to find people who leave reviews. (Apparently not successfully.) I specifically asked to have my information and photo removed from their computers when I closed my account. They have mailing addresses and phone numbers - what stops them from taking the next step of following a woman or showing up at a person’s house? These are the openings to too many true crime stories. It is not ok.

Ive been a member for a few years now and love this place. Employees are great. Members are friendly too. Very comfortable inviting environment.

I’ve only visited this gym so I got a little tour and a great work out... but I really liked they have tons of free weights, solid class room for classes and private training, which is great to have when you just want to focus on getting the work done. They also have a nice kids club which as a mom makes it easier to get to the gym. Especially when you’re on a road trip and don’t want to miss out on your training. Thanks Fitness 19!

I like this club because I have 2 little boys and they are really affordable with child care. They have tons of kettle bells, a platform and a ton of cardio. Its clean, which I appreciate because Ive seen gyms that arent cared for. And a great class room! They have some really fun classes too.

My overall experience has been very positive. The sign up process was straight-forward. The cost is very reasonable. If you decide to get a few personal training sessions ask if they would waive the sign up fee (they did w/ me). The front desk staff is always friendly. The personal training sessions were very helpful, and the trainer was knowledgeable. The clientele is a good mix of young/old/male/female and the overall vibe is relaxed w/ everyone just doing their thing. I go during off-peak times and rarely have to wait for anything. Overall- the place has pretty much everything anyone would need equipment-wise. They dont have any showers, but do have a staffed child-sitting room.My only complaints: no decline bench, and the floors and bathroom could be a little cleaner. Also- a water bottle filler in place of one of the fountains would be nice too.

This gym has went downhill really bad. the new management has no idea what they are doing. Vo wrongfully terminates good hardworking employees while he himself has no idea how to run a gym. nothing gets done about a large amount of people not wearing deodorant which makes the facility stink to high heaven. stay away from this place and take your business elsewhere.

This place is just an OK facility. I dont like that they hide behind their only 9 dollars a month promotion but then theres all these hidden fees that make it equal out to the cost of other gyms anyway. The ceilings are low in the weights area which I just dont like in a gym. It is a smaller place so its easily packed and even finding parking can be tough. If youre a pretty tight budget check it out but if you can afford like 5 dollars more a month I definitely recommend some of the bigger gyms in the area.

Cancelled my membership the other day because the gym has gone pretty down hill since the new management. A decent amount of the employees that were there either left because of him or got fired for no reason, even though they worked hard and did their best to keep the gym up and running. With the old manager I would have gave this gym a 3 star, but just how new management has been handling things, its a pretty uncomfortable place to be now. I give it a solid 1 star, and thats because you cant give 0.

Ive been a member for almost a year now and I am very comfortable at this gym. The membership fee is reasonable. The front desk and child care staff are very nice. Jackie & Nick are the best!!! :)

The general manager has made horribly inappropriate comments about numerous members at this gym. He always does his best to not clean, or fake clean just to stare at women. Keep your kids away from him and this gym.

I would give it zero stars, but you have to leave one to be able to write a review. The new management has no idea what theyre doing. Its dirty. The staff is all backstabbing and the place has a terrible vibe. Stay away!

Nice facility with good hours. They also have child care. You can either have the childcare added to your membership for about $10/month or you can pay per use for $2 per visit. That second option works out great for me.

Staff is very nice. Always welcoming!This gym provides a relaxed environment to exercise and is very affordable for all.Cancellation policy is well explained when you sign up.

For the price, this is a good gym. Basic essentials, not much space. A few classes offered. A quick and dirty gym experience.

Ive had a great experience with Fitness 19 in Pittsburgh so far. If youre looking for a cheap, no frills work out space, they fit the bill. Equipment seems well cared for. Note a cost of saving some money is the lack of showers.

The front end staff is great, and the kids club staff is the best out there. As a parent of 2 kids, this gym makes it easy for my wife and I . This gym works better for a family with kids compared to our other gyms weve had. Equipment is available, and if not the second you want it, it will be by the end of your workout. My minor issue/suggestion, is that with the once a year equipment upgrade fee, I wish we could suggest equipment options. Suggestions to bring in something not available vs. Something you feel isnt as useful. Its a good gym.

Beware when looking for a trainer. There is one trainer in there ALL the time, Brittany. To begin with, she IS NOT certified, but she is dating the manager, Adam, so I think that how she is allowed to train. Not sure how its legal, though. Have heard 2 reports of her injuring clients so far. Also the way she treats employees and MEMBERS is appalling. Ive been in a class where she actually paused the music to make fun of what a member was wearing to work out in out on the machines. Will be in touch with the owner. Have been notified by a few other members that they plan to file complaints with the owner since they cannot go to management.

Recently became a member and love the gym. It’s very well kept and Adam made the signup process easy.

Impossible to quit. I moved so cancelling membership was difficult in person. I sent a normal post letter and was charged an additional month. When I called they explained they only accept cancellation via certified mail. I sent a certified letter explaining my cancellation and I was chaged yet another month after the certified mail was received. Upon registering I paid first month & last month membership therefor should not be charged at all after cancelling!

Im editing my previous review to address the negative reviews recently posted in response to an employee getting fired. It was absolutely deserved!!! I had several complaints about this employee over the year and went as far up as the owner to voice them. Clearly, the people complaining about Vo and the gym are fans of this past employee and have had this person talking in their ears. If they knew everything that went on, they might change their tunes. The fired employee had ample opportunities to change and simply didnt.Know what youre talking about before you try to ruin a business and reputations.

Good place to go for machines, bikes, treadmills. Not a great selection of free weights, and no showers. But its only $19/month!

Had been a member for 3+ years at this location and used to workout at another location for a couple years in the past. Closed my membership and the guy at the front seemed displeased with this. He literally said “goodbye” as soon as I signed the paper and nothing more. Not “thank you for your business”, not “if you decide to join a gym again...”. Wasn’t thrilled with the interaction.

Beware of this place and stay away :First of all my reason for cancel was i didnt like the team and coaches because they are rude.And the second big scam is they are running is their membership cancellation : Even after you cancel they charge your card and when i called them back because i replaced my card they called me and said they are different company than Fitness19. And i explained them that i already cancelled my membership but they say they put cancel process but it was still running which means its not cancelled yet and with the nerve she has she tells me that someone from fitness 19 should tell me the cancellation process which is ridiculous. I went and told the guy who was sitting at the desk to cancel my membership and he said all was done and i asked him thats it ? He said yes thats all .! Now they want $57 dollar for the month i didnt even go!!!! 19 for the month they couldnt charge and $34 for being late for payment which is absurd because i already cancelled my membership
