Eloisa is one of the most talented designers I know! She is the only person I would ever trust to make alterations to an expensive wedding gown. Her work is of the most exceptional quality and she is great with clients. She helped me with a wedding dress I purchased from a local bridal store that was several sizes too large. She made it perfect! Eloisa then made me a custom reception dress that was a design from her own collection.My only regret is not meeting Eloisa sooner! Had I known about her talent, I would have asked her to make my wedding dress from day one. Cannot say enough things about her amazing design talent, fantastic attention to deal, dedication to her work and how she truly cares about her clients.

Eloisa lives up to the reviews! She’s a real professional, asking questions about what you’ll be doing in the dress and telling you why she’s taking something in or leaving it as is. Based on her recommendations, she made my wedding dress functional for my day where I would be super comfortable (beach wedding and portraits that require sitting on the ground), while fitting my body in all the right places. Eloisa is also really friendly and easy to talk to, she’s got a great story!

I am only 5ft tall and Eloisa was able to alter my very delicate tulle wedding gown from its originally measurements to fit me perfectly. The original dress was about 10in too long. She made sure all the small details worked as well and listened to all of my concerns.

Eloisa was wonderful to work with. She did a great job on alterations for my wedding dress, it now fits perfectly! Top has an intricate lace corset and it doesn’t even look like it’s been altered!! She also made significant adjustments to an overskirt (needed fabric taken down/out/cut) to fit my vision and she did an amazing job! She was timely and did everything within one month as I was in a time crunch. Highly recommend!!

She is very detailed in her work! Ive always had my clothes altered/tailored and I have to brief every tailor about my body so that they actually do the work right. Eloisa was the total opposite- Its like she studies everyones body and REALLY tailors the dresses to EVERY curve... I recommend this place to EVERY bride in Houston and even from out of town! Its worth every penny!!!I had a very high-end, complex, bohemian style dress with a satin underdress. Here are some photos from different angles so that you can see the perfection of the curves and what kind of dresses she works with.Where she tailored:- the shoulders, chest, arms, breast, back, hips, waist, the length, the butt, she added a button so that I can walk around without holding the train, and she also tailored every place in between!!

Eloisa is incredible.I had a really short engagement and had to get a dress off the rack. The floor dress I wanted was only in a size 14. The designer didn’t do rush shipping.I decided to buy the size 14 and get it altered to my size (size 0 or a size 2). She made the dress look incredible! She turned a size 14 into a size 0-2 and kept the design of the dress.You will not be disappointed by her work.I would highly recommend her to anyone!

If I could rate higher I absolutely would. Eloisa completely transformed my dress into everything I wanted it to be! Covid made things tricky when I originally ordered my dress, as I ordered over the phone. When it came in it was about 4 sizes way too big. She altered it to fit seamlessly. You would have never known it was so big to begin with. She made every experience so easy and really listened to everything you had to say. Eloisa is a real life angel. I was recommended by Lovely Bride, and I could not have been happier. We had about 3 weeks until the wedding date, and Eloisa did an incredible job. I never felt rushed. She was thorough, patient, extremely kind and just all around great person to work with. She altered my wedding dress perfectly! Additionally, I bought a jumpsuit that was 4 sizes too big, and she completely revamped it within a week before the wedding date. Highly recommend her for any alterations-- not just bridal!

After reading great reviews and seeing many people say her prices were reasonable, she tried to charge me over $400 to alter a $300 dress. I pulled up google maps and drove 2 blocks down the road to a place that did the same work only $200. Eloisa was very kind to me but wouldnt even consider negotiating the price, so I had to take my business elsewhere.

She was amazing at recreating an “original” hem on Rag & Bone distressed jeans, that had been ruined by a different tailor. She was able to reinforce it, make it symmetrical, and hand distress it to match the rest of the jeans. I went from not wearing these at all to LOVING them because of Eloisa. She was also able to carefully and skillfully fix holes in garments due to a puppy finding them in the laundry room. Highly recommend.

I found Eloisa by chance. I needed a dress tailored for a wedding and she did it beautifully. I have searched for 3 years for a great place to take my clothing for alterations and I have finally found it! I plan on bringing all of my suits and other items to Eloisa. Eloisa is hands down, the BEST! She can alter anything...she has done everything from my wedding dress to replacing buttons and zippers. She also makes clothes so when she does alterations she doesn’t just worry about the top layers, she can open the dress (or shirt, etc) totally up to make sure it’s perfect everywhere. My wedding dress had a 12 point bustle (or something crazy) and a scallop lace hem that needed taken up...she was able to do all of that flawlessly. Also, she can turn things around very quickly...she’s even gotten me back a dress in 24 hours. Highly recommend!

Eloisa is an amazing seamstress! I bought my rather expensive wedding dress from Lovely Bride and needed alterations including a shaper to smooth out any imperfections.Eloisa sews and makes the shaper for you! This alone was amazing- the other shapers from Neimans and Nordstrom were horrible for my crepe dress which shows everything. The shaper fits me perfectly and you cant even tell Im wearing one with my dress.I highly recommend her - especially if you have an expensive gown and not sure who to trust handling your wedding dress.My wedding was postponed due to COVID-19, but my wedding dress looks perfect. If you want your dress to fit like a glove, this is the right place. By mistake, the bridal salon ordered a dress that was too tight; something that made me too nervous when I tried it on for the first time. I dont know how she did it, but Eloísa managed to make the dress fit me perfectly. A very clean, delicate and very professional job. Highly recommended!!!!
