I got married at the The Springs Event Venue on 7/31/2021 and it was exactly what I dreamed it would be! The staff was amazing. I asked questions months, weeks and days before the wedding and they were always quick at responding and always made me feel like a priority. They also have an easy way to set up payments. Even when my husband was laid off during COVID and we asked to push one payment back they were super understanding. The venue was set up exactly how I asked them to and they provide you with so much additional information to help with wedding planning. My husband also left his Vow Book at the venue and instead of throwing it away, they texted me to let me know and mailed it to me since I wasn’t able to go back and get it. Great staff, beautiful venue, and overall had my fairytale dream wedding!
I am a wedding photographer and I got to work at this venue in fall of 2018. Lets just say I was absolutely enamored with it! Theres nothing else exactly like this anywhere in Texas. It was easy to get around, the lighting for photos was immaculate, and especially the bridal suite is on a whole other level. I highly recommend this venue and cant wait to work there again soon!
My sister had a wedding at this venue last weekend. The hall was beautiful and accommodating prior to the event. But on the day of the wedding, they made the day a complete hell. The planner was constantly talking to them, taking time away from focusing on the details and delaying our schedules. Their hospitality was horrendous. I have been in several weddings and have never experienced any treatment like this. I will never recommend this hall to anyone.
Last night i have attended a beautiful wedding of my niece and visited this extravaganza beautiful event venue. It was decorated as a wedding hall but anyone can use it for any event with dome cganges . Its an excellent place to organize your event. Staff is really very friendly and professional. Dining area and appetiser area is beautiful . Hall had approximately enough for 150 people if setup for more then tha then there is no space between tables. Highly recommended.
Photography: Ana Lavalle alavallewed.comJust posting some photos from my wedding because I had wished there were more of the venue online when I was booking/planning. I hope they give inspiration! The staff is accommodating and very responsive at all times of the day. The biggest reason I chose this venue (other than the fact that it was so beautiful) was that there was a balcony. My grandfather and I are very close and he is 92 years old so he was concerned about attending the wedding. With the balcony, we could put a table up there for him to be secluded from other guests (there’s 2 bathrooms up there too in the suites). He felt comfortable being at the wedding and we had the bartenders serve him upstairs. We had a great experience with the Springs, the chateau felt very elegant and the staff was so nice! I booked my wedding in September 2020 after my international plans fell through and we got married in October 2020. You CAN plan a beautiful wedding in 1 month!! Huge plus is you get the venue for 15 hours on the day of the wedding! (Read the captions on the last few photos for further explanation)Only negative thing I have to say and it was a huge negative- I had to spend 2 HOURS of my “getting ready” time re-setting up ALL of the tables, chairs, the ceremony chairs, and cocktail tables. Literally. ALL. My bridal party was getting hair and makeup done. There were several tables missing and the spacing was nothing like I had on allseated. This set me back 1 hour for the ceremony unfortunately and I hate being late.. I also missed my hour of relaxation and photos with bridesmaids before the ceremony. I can’t get that time back. I was so rushed and sweating because the venue didn’t look at my allseated chart before setting up for my wedding (or if they did then they didn’t pay attention to any detail..) so that was a bummer! I know they have people come in early to set up the tables and people make mistakes, but the venue should’ve printed my layout and checked over everything prior to my arrival (in my opinion). That’s the LAST thing a bride should have to do on her wedding day! Especially when I spent hours working on the allseated layout.
My wedding was unfortunately cancelled due to the winter storm in Feb, but The Springs venue was so kind to my husband and I. They walked us through the entire process, they never stopped communicating with us, never left us hanging, and answered all of our 1,000 questions without hesitation. They were so incredibly professional and again, so kind. I may not have had my wedding here after all, but I highly recommend it! Beautiful venue and beautiful people! 🤍
Thus place is beautiful. That is all.
This place is a beautiful venue and a great price! However, this is not an easy venue to work with. If you are having an Indian wedding and need early decor, then this is not the place for you. The earliest you can get access is 8:00 am and then have to pay $1000 to get access one hour earlier. The outdoor area is inclosed in such a way that it makes it really hard to build a mandap outside. They are pretty inflexible with working with you and anything extra you want than the bare minimum is not an option. If you use tables outside, then those are also your responsibility to move inside. Overall, it is a beautiful space and is likely fine for an evening wedding/reception. However, for Indian weddings, we had to do a lot of extra work/adjustments to make our wedding work here.
Every beautiful place for a wedding. Staff took care of every need. Provided exceptional service from start of wedding to finish. Food was well presented and the taste of exertional. The presentation when serving the food was highly professional. Would recommend then to many one looking to get married in the Houston Area
It was good everything even the food. The place I would recommend to others
The SPRINGS Event Venue is truly amazing! I had my wedding there just last month in November and the ceremony and reception turned out better than I could imagine. The included amenities at the facility really demonstrates the value of having a wedding there. Our ceremony was held outdoor and everything from the architectural design, natural but strategically placed greenery, and clean landscaping truly completed the moment when I saw my gorgeous wife walk down the aisle. The grooms suite had a luxurious but comfortable touch that allowed myself and the groomsmen to get ready and relax. Also Megan and Hayley were very professional, accommodating and RESPONSIVE. Anytime I had a question they would respond to my text message right away. I could go on and write more positive remarks about my wedding experience at this great venue but I rather encourage the reader to schedule an appointment and check it out for them-self.
Find another venue thats family owned. They will actually care about you and your event. At the very least, negotiate your contract or get wedding insurance. You’ll need it with The Springs. We were supposed to have our wedding here in February 2021.Planning from out of state is hard, but the _original_ management team worked really hard with me to iron out details.1. Since we and 75% of our guests are from out of state and with the pandemic going on, we asked to postpone our wedding with 4-5 months notice. We offered to:- reschedule with a fee- postpone to a new date and pay for the 2nd date at some discount- resell the original date to another couple- _donate the original date to a charity event_The Springs declined all of the above.2. My fiance got COVID just before the wedding, and we could no longer fly out. Corporate kindly offered to reschedule our wedding to any remaining date in the next 2 months. Talk about a logistics nightmare for you, your vendors, and your guests._Eventually_, they offered any remaining 2021 date. The venue is popular and Saturdays are basically all booked up. RIP our dream wedding where our families can actually make it.3. Between September of 2019 and December 2020, the ENTIRE management at the Cypress location had changed out. We don’t know any of them. They don’t know us. It just seems like bad business practice to have such drastic turn over.Edit to include response to The Springs:You offered 2 solutions, not many, and only at the final hour. You made our experience more stressful to maximize your profits rather than working with us to postpone to a date that we could actually be in the state for. You do you, but take ownership of your actions. Don’t gaslight your customers and act like you were overly accommodating. It’s like asking your mom if she needs help with the groceries just as she sets down the last bag on the counter. You don’t mean kindness, and you wait until it’s already too late to do anything. If you care about the reviews then the solution is easy. Do better. Try caring, for starters.
A Super cool place for indoors and outdoor events with beautiful fountain view
Instead of only putting $500 down as a deposit, my son chose to pay in full since we had just given him money as a wedding gift to start paying for chunks of his wedding. Only 13 days later, he and his fiancee broke up, unfortunately. When he wrote to ask for his money back, they told him even though the money was not due, he would not get any of it back because any monies paid to this venue are non-refundable, whether they are due yet or not. WHAT? So we are left with a holiday weekend in September of 2022. No doubt the Springs could re-book this date (a Saturday over a year out) wherein they would not lose a penny. Seems a little greedy and unfair to me since the money was truly not due yet. We are penalized now for paying in advance. DONT DO IT.
Nice venue!!.... I was there decorating dessert tables for a 15.
Very beautiful venue with lush greens and elegant interior. Ideal for weddings.
Attended a wedding here. Very pretty place. The main building is a beautiful two story structure nicely wooded off to give it a sense of seclusion even though youre in the middle of a busy suburban area off Malcomson and Eldridge. Theres a nice fountain in front along with a clean parking lot, wood floors in the main hall, and a dual curved staircase in the foyer that go to the second floor. I did not see it but the backyard is supposed to be nice and has a courtyard.I have no idea how it is to work with the venues administrators but the facility appears clean and well maintained. It definitely had a level of class above some of the halls Ive seen that are in the middle of strip malls.
The most beautiful and accommodating venue in Houston!!! Hayley, the venue manager, is the most kind and helpful person!! She helped every step of the way and was there for every detail despite being in a pandemic. I would recommend this venue just BECAUSE OF Hayley. She will make sure your day is as smooth as possible with as much love as possible!! Book your wedding here!!!
Attended a wedding. Beautiful venue and grounds
This is a beautiful venue! As a wedding officiant, its always a pleasure when asked to perform ceremonies here.
My fiancé and I just had our wedding here and this was beautiful and accommodating venue in Texas! Hayley, the venue manager, was on top of everything and there for everything we needed! She and her team helped every step of the way and was there for every detail despite being in a pandemic. She will make sure your day is as easy and amazing of an experience you could imagine. I would recommend this venue and their staff to anyone looking for a great experience!
My wife and I had booked our wedding here for August 8/2020. Unfortunately with COVID running rampant, we made the very tough decision to cancel our wedding. All of our vendors and service providers were overwhelmingly understanding and provided in many cases, partial refunds. We understand that businesses are struggling as well too. The Springs however, did not provide any sort of refund for our $5,000 deposit. They offered to let us have the venue the day we reserved it, but that didn’t make sense to us, considering that we had sized our wedding down from 208 people to just 12. They also offered for us to book out to January ‘21, in which many dates were already unavailable. However, as we anticipated, that didn’t really make sense as COVID is still present to this day. We wanted to schedule around August 2021 or when we knew it would be safe for our friends and family. We decided not to use the venue the day of and swallow that big money loss pill in a year that had already been tough enough on us with my wife being laid off. They had the audacity to send automated “We hope you enjoyed the venue” type messages after the fact. Judging from the other reviews here, I would guess our situation was the anomaly. I will still hope that the owner takes this feedback into consideration. I would book with caution in the near future and do not expect refunds!
Visited this venue for one of my friends wedding and absolutely loved it! Every aspect of the property is well-kept and beautiful. With Covid, weddings are hard but the management did a great job keeping us safe and staying professional. 10/10 recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding location!
It was beautiful and the staff was great
Nice place 4 celebration.
Beautiful elegant and accessible place for a wedding or any other formal event. Beautiful views everywhere you turn.
Hi So, Im currently in the process of finding my dream venues and Hayley and her team have been SOO helpful with the whole process. When I first walked into the venue, the team was so warm and welcoming and made the experience a lot easier for me. Definitely a venue to keep on your list!!
Very beautifull place
It was a wonderful wedding and fabulous location!!!
As a private practice owner I understand that things happen and always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. However, my experience with this Venue has been nothing but unprofessional. My fiance had called about 3 weeks ago about scheduling an appointment to check out the venue and they said appointments were not necessary and just come in whenever we were available. We showed up 2 weeks ago and saw that there were people prepping for a wedding that day and knew we would have to wait. In fact a nice gentleman told us to wait in front of the office and a manager will take care of us afterwards. We sat there as she was in a meeting for about 10 minutes. Fine no problems. Manager subsequently walks out and walks past us at least 5 times and never once acknowledge us. I told my fiance to be patience as she may be busy. We than knock on her door and asked her for more info and she acknowledge and apologizes for not recognizing us (looking back on it, I am not sure how sincere this apology was) and said she had someone coming in a little for an appointment. We schedule for today at 11am and we get there and the gate is closed and there is no way we can get a hold of anyone even via text which they said we can when we called the number. There voicemail is full. I have a feeling that because we looked young or possibly our race they did not want to take us seriously is honestly the impression I got. For the first time in my life I felt like I had to tell someone I am a doctor to avoid being stereotyped.subsequent edit: Since my initial encounters with the venue, the manager Hayley have gone out of her way to ensure that my feelings were recognize and acknowledge the errors that were made. She has gone out of her way to try to make things right and her acknowledgement of the situation has allowed us to cool down and revisit the situation. Regardless of our decision, Hayley has done everything she can to try to help us because of that I will have to change my rating for the venue.
Wish I could give 0 stars.DO NOT GO HERE!!!!They have no empathy and are so money hungry, they wouldn’t allow a couple I know to reschedule their wedding date. The couple was afraid to complain or post negative reviews in case this place retaliates so I’m doing it for them. They had already started communications about rescheduling their wedding due to COVID 6 months before the scheduled date. The place said the contract requires an 8-month notice but, of course, nobody schedules a pandemic. Many guests are unable to travel during this time and the venue also cut down its capacity (understandably). However, who wants to hold their wedding at a venue originally reserved for 100+ people and now they’ve cut that down/people unable to travel to come?? The couple didn’t even want to CANCEL, but rather RESCHEDULE.The couple was forced to cancel and lose their payment (several thousand $$$$).EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNER:They booked your venue for 100+ guests for thousands of dollars. They wanted to reschedule because of cut capacity coupled with guests unable to travel or attend. The main issue is you didn’t allow them to even reschedule. Nobody is going to want to continue with their wedding plans when (1) everyone they want to attend cannot even attend and (2) they paid thousands for a 100+ venue and less than half would’ve been able to attend. You didn’t provide any decent alternative e.g. cut costs for a smaller party. So yes, they were FORCED to cancel without even a partial refund.
Beautiful venue. Staff is great
STAY AWAY. This venue will NOT accommodate to you if you are in need of anything and only cares about the money. They are leaving hundreds of brides out in the cold with COVID, not being understanding or considerate in any way. I understand business is business, but given that we’re are all going through a PANDEMIC... you’d think they’d be at least a little understanding. We’re all human. It’s a business yes, but a wedding business. A wedding is the most important day of your life, and your venue should recognize that and do everything they can to support you and help you. This venue does the opposite. Not helping brides who are suffering from the impacts of corona virus, not refunding ANY money, not responding to phone calls or emails. STAY AWAY. They don’t care about anything but money.
Our friends got married here in July during covid. They let us know how difficult this venue was in rescheduling their wedding, they were not helpful or caring during this process. Do not recommend this place as a wedding venue. They don’t care about anything but profit.
LOVED working with TSE team! They made my special day so magical and perfect :)
This venue handled absolutely nothing about a rescheduled covid wedding well. My friends Nicole and Evan were supposed to have their wedding here in April, but had to reschedule for July. The Springs took advantage of them and charged them the same price for a Sunday wedding as they paid for their original Saturday date, even though it should have been $3k less, and only gave the couple Sunday options. It was apparent there was no wedding the Saturday before, so why werent they given the option to have their wedding then? They couldnt cancel, couldnt have a Saturday wedding, and couldnt move to 2021 without paying thousands extra. Ridiculous. The bride also informed us the venue would only communicate via email, which is a terrible way to handle any event, much less one that has so many changes and questions from the client. If you book this venue, get ready for unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and obvious greediness. But the pictures will be beautiful at least.
Very beautiful establishment
I got married here in October 2020. Where to start? Let’s start with my initial encounter with The Springs-Cypress. I toured the place September of 2019. I fell in love with the venue...even before it had been remodeled. The chateau style look, spacious outdoors area, and beautiful ballroom. I loved it. I thought about it for a week and decided that that would be the place where I was going to marry my lifetime partner. Before I signed my contract, I told the manager that my dog is a big part of our life and relationship and that we would like for him to be a part of our big day. I also informed her that I wanted to have alpacas pass out alcohol. She said no animals are technically allowed on the premises but that she would make that exception. She asked that my dog be on the leash for the ceremony and for pictures and that after he be in the kennel until the night was over. I signed the contract, and the planning process began. Flash forward to the day of my wedding. My fiancé brings our dog to the venue because he was going to be OUR RING BEARER. Literally I had told everyone about it, it was printed onto our programs and everything. I even bought him an expensive tux because I was so freaking excited to have him bring us our rings. The manager runs up to the grooms suite where my fiancé is and tells him that our dog is not allowed on the premises and if he was going to be in the ceremony he could only be there right before the ceremony and that he HAD TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY AFTER. Um, excuse me... what? Who is going to do that during a wedding? We told her that we had received permission to have him in our wedding. She later claimed that my dog was distressed because he was in the kennel...which was not true at all. He was just Uber excited and wanted to be with his owners. She ended up telling us that she was going to allow the dog to stay but that it had to be supervised at all times and couldn’t just be left in the kennel. Since I didn’t have anyone to babysit him in the kennel all night I ended up having to take him home. She literally ruined the most important and sentimental day of our lives. I will no longer have pictures of our dog in his tux, I can no longer say he was our ring bearer.Besides the dog incident, the bridal suite needed some serious attention. The furniture had stains on it. The curtains had red stuff on them. My photographer was appalled because she tried to get a photo of me looking out the window and actually thought it was blood on the curtain.Also- when I tried to schedule appointments to go visit the venue for planning purposes they told me I couldn’t because of events going on that day. Fine. I understand. But the day of my wedding- they were giving TOURS to people that were interested. The groomsmen had no privacy... they were brought to the groom suite to check it out.Bottom line is- too expensive for what it is. Management needs to get it together and be one United front. And they need to remember that “THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.”
Beautiful venue. Great staff, and amazing quality overall!
The only word to describe the management of this establishment is atrocity. Heartless money-hungry leadership of this place turned the life-changing event into an abysmal calamity. Unless you really love being taken advantage of, avoid at all costs!Update: Thanks for a copy&paste apology. The comment was made in regards to Evan&Nicole’s wedding.
Happy I saw the reviews before I booked anything....dont have time for any bs on my wedding day!! Moving right along....
Excelente place beatiful.
Beautiful place! the rooms for the bride and grooms are awesome great for pictures.
My friends Nicole and Evan got married there. Because of covid, they had to reschedule their wedding. The venue was not accommodating at all. They were told they could reschedule from April 2020 to January 2021 with no fee - however there were only 3 weekend dates available, all on a Sunday. If they were to reschedule after January, they’d have to pay for the venue again even though it wasn’t their fault that covid happened. Sunday weddings cost less than Saturday weddings. Even though they had originally paid for a Saturday wedding, when they had rescheduled for a Sunday they didn’t get any money back. The venue was less than accommodating and the vendors they associate with were exactly the same. They wanted to nickel and dime them for every little thing and asked for fees for changing their wedding date. Nobody asked for covid, but you’d think that vendors would be accommodating of simply changing the date. Not for this venue. Avoid at all costs!!!
AmazingPlace great venue
Nice .my sons wedding was. Awesome.............
Best Wedding Venue in Greater Houston Area
Very nice place to host a wedding.
Venue was nice but the staff the runs the venue could have been a little more accommodating
Lovely hall
Very friendly and hard working staff.
Beautiful location! Seems really expensive...
Nice place
Beautiful venue!
Beautiful sunset and venue
Great place!
The venue was absolutely gorgeous!
Beautiful Venue and awesome staff! Totally recommend this Venue!
I was very excited about touring this venue and possibly hoping to book. The prices were in my budget and everything. I just didn’t like my tour experience. I felt that they didn’t care if they got my business or not. If I would have had a better experience I probably would have booked on the spot because my proposal was great, instead we chose another venue.
The atmosphere of my wedding was amazing. Everybody loved the food! I tried to add in Polish flavors into the catering and everything turned out super tasty. The building was really warm and the lighting was beautiful. I could not have imagined a better place to have my wedding.
I love the Chateau Polonez. Their venue is absolutely stunning. From the grandness of their ballroom to the beautiful scenery, it is definitely one of a kind! Their sales team (Kasia, Basia & Lauren) always go above and beyond to make sure the events are perfect. Natalia and the catering team at Glorious Cuisine always have the best and the newest when it comes to food trends. I highly recommend it!
Chateau Polonez is absolutely stunning! Everything about this place is magical. The staff at the Chateau is extremely helpful. They were always available via phone and responded quickly to emails. They made the entire process seamless and I felt like they really wanted to make sure our event went off without issues. My friends are still telling me how much they loved this place!
I have worked all across Houston and been to many venues. When it comes to a carrying staff, unique venue Chateau Polonez its at the top of the list. The property and design of the venue is unique as no other venue looks like it. The staff is kind, sharp, well presented and the food is amazing! When looking around definitely stop by as you probably wont be looking after you visit.
Awesome place to hold a venue!
Very pretty venue but the light there is more suited to a day event I suppose. Everything had pink hue because of the lights there as our event was a night event and we had to try very hard to take not pink pics ......
Shooting here was dreamy! Highly recommend this venue for upcoming wedding parties. #keywilsonphotography #realestatewise
Great place
Ok, great wedding
Beautiful venue with helpful staff!!
Seriously overrated terrible food, good sanitary facilities though. Late setting up not good value for money in my own opinion. Tripping hazards everywhere. Fake marble pillars really!Lighting could be improved upon whilst they are at it.
Beautiful venue and very accommodating staff!!!
The space is absolutely beautiful! HOWEVERWent to a wedding here...they ran out of bread then the green beans were not even cooked!! After we were seated the severs brought out salad and we were expecting the main course to be served...NOPE we were told to form a line and get our own food!! Tacky as hell. Very disappointed in the sub par service.
I was a cater waiter and it was definitely one of the nicest venues Ive worked for. The kitchen area is small lol but there is a good size dance floor and two floors for a good party
Extraordinarily beautiful and with all the features needed for a gorgeous, upscale venue for both weddings and quinceaneras. We had the honor of photographing a session there and along with a very formidable and helpful staff, we really enjoyed the opportunity to capture so many wonderful backgrounds and environments.
Nice Ambience 👌
Ive been to this venue multiple times and am impressed with the service. The grounds are beautiful. This is a great location for a wedding, party or other event.
The venue is absolutely amazing! They have a wonderful staff. Every event Ive attended there was beautiful. Highly recommended!!
Just beautiful
Nice setting. Plenty of parking. Very organized. Friendly people. Good working a/c. Overall a good experience. Definitely recommend.
Beautiful nice place
Came here for a friends wedding and it is a very beautiful venue for a small to medium sized wedding/reception. If your in the Houston area its a place I put on my list to consider for a wedding venue.
What a dreamy location for your wedding or end-of-year gathering. Its really quite the gem of a place
The alarm for the building goes off several times a week! It drives me nuts! Sure it’s a beautiful place but it disturbs my sleep so often that when I call the police to fix it they know exactly where the alarm is coming from. Ridiculous! Get your alarm system fixed because I’m so tired of it!
Nice ambiance overall
Very spacious, balcony, lots of secured parking gated property.
Beautiful place for a party or wedding.
Located far from all hustle and bustle, but what a beautiful location. Went there for a friends after wedding ceremony and loved it.
Beautiful location to have a private occasion!
Wonderful staff and a beautiful place for your Wedding or corporate event
Beautiful wedding venue with a wonderful staff.
Great place to have an event!
Amazing venue!
