I will never use another mechanic again after my experience here with Edgar.My 2014 vw Jetta began to idle rough and occasionally shut off at stop lights to the point it was unsafe. The first mechanic I brought it too offered a carbon flush but couldn’t pin point an issue without a check engine light.I called Edgar, he fit me in just a couple of days later, and figured out the problem and had two major repairs completed within a weekend. When I drove my car off the lot I honestly couldn’t believe how smooth it felt. I guess I didn’t notice just how badly it has been running.Not only did Edgar fix the problem I came in for, but he also discovered why my AC hadn’t been running correctly for the last 3 years. Something it had been at the VW dealership for before and they couldn’t figure out.

Edgar is an awesome person in general. As a former student of his, he has the knowledge and passion for automotive like I have never seen. I recommend everyone to bring your vehicles to him. Let him break all the stereotypes of your average mechanic shops. Trustworthy, knowledgeable, and driven.

Honestly, Best shop Ive been to, Its nearly impossible these days to find a shop that is trustworthy, fast, and with so much passion and quality within. The owner (Eddy) has so much passion in his work, and you can clearly see that. First off, he walked me through what was wrong with my car in grave detail, and then proceeded to tell me how he was gonna fix it all. My car was overheating, unaligned, with a couple mechanical problems like a bent tie-rod, faulty brakes, and radiator fan problems. The best part of it all is that he got it fixed within the day, and now my car runs (and drives) how it was intended to in the first place.

I had problems with the Comand screen being blank and the control joystick being inoperable on my E350 Mercedes. Having met Edgar before and being aware that he lectures in automotive electronics I was confident that he could analyze and detect and repair the issues. In addition to detecting some other electronic Mercedes specific issues he was able to do the work the same day and I was very happy with the result and ultimately the price. Will certainly be using him again in the future.
