Had a head gasket go out on my truck...of course, it couldnt be a simple straight forward problem. The team at Deerfield Auto got on the problem right away, gave me straight answers and an accurate quote. They knocked out the job quickly and even had my back when a brand new manufactures specialty part failed. Though out it all, everyone involved had a positive, can do attitude.I have no reservations about taking my vehicles to them for minor or major issues.

My brakes started grinding really bad on my way to work in the early morning hours. When I was coming home I saw this place an had remmeber that I saw it on google reviews an was very impressed. We did state inspection but they also provide air and Cabin filter for us after the inspection at reasonable price. Their employees’ are very professional and the owner is very nice too. Nightmare shop, they will sell you things you don’t need, sometimes they don’t even change the oil filter, if you ever are told you have metal in the brake fluid, RUN. This is the shop that people worry about, they will charge you for a diagnostic and waste time if there is nothing wrong with your car!! Ask for your old parts on every visit!! I wouldn’t send my worse enemy to this place. BUYERS BEWARE!!! Don’t let the smiles fool you, they just want to take every dime you’re willing to spend! Highly advise 2nd opinions! I came here for a state inspection that I needed in order to pickup my license plates at tax office (recent car purchase). They failed it intentionally for front window tint. LOL how pathetic.. and major inconvenience as my plate is almost expired. All other state inspectors said that was crazy and they shouldnt have inspected the car to begin with. Probably just wanted my lousy $25. Go elsewhere if you want full transparency.

I have visited Deerfield Automotive repair for my automotive needs going on 15 years. Recently I acquired a 2000 Mercedez Benz S500 that had numerous issues with the air suspension system. Difficult to diagnose and satisfy a cost effective solution. Joe suggested removing the computer controlled air suspension system with a traditional suspension system saving me thousands of dollars in replacement cost. The new suspension system performs very well. Another good repair job by Deerfield! Hats off to Joe and his staff of mechanics! I highly recommend Deerfield for your repair needs. It was my first time being here and the service was done fast and really well! I needed an oil change and had to get a motor flush done but the guy that helped me out was very nice and professional and answered my questions that was asked regarding the situation. Yesterday I tempted fate because on the last time I’d been out of the house to drive anywhere — a week ago or more — my car’s dashboard electrical system warning light had come on. I was hoping it was just a dying battery, since I have jumper cables, and that I could get this errand completed even if I had to beg a jump-start from some stranger. Alas, it was not the battery, but the alternator, which had failed — meaning no more juice was going into the battery, and my car therefore went completely dead about 10 minutes from my destination.But I coasted to a stop — with the engine dead, no power steering, no dashboard lights at all — into the parking lot of Deerfield Auto Repair & Kwik Kar. Owner Joe Fallin and his capable staff promptly diagnosed my problem and gave me a fair estimate. They replaced my alternator and battery both (never keep an old battery with a new alternator!) within the estimated time, about three hours, and hosted me in the meantime in a clean and well-appointed waiting room (easy to maintain pandemic-driven social distancing).Friendly, competent, honest, diligent — fate delivered me into good hands, and Im happy to recommend them to anyone.

I have been going to Deerfield Auto Repair since 2019 when I moved into the area. Theyre located on Barker Cypress and Clay Road, across from McDonalds.I had my AC fixed last year. A few months ago I realized that my AC wasnt working. I called up Joe and he asked me to bring my car in. It turns out I had to have the coil replaced which entailed taking out my dashboard and would cost me about $1000 to repair as a lot of labor was involved. I had already spent a lot of money on the car already and Joe only charged me for the parts. Theres not many people who would do that. I was touched by his thoughtfulness and kindness.My experiences have always been great. I would recommend them anytime. They have done a great job repairing my car. I could tell on the way home that something was different with my AC. It was running quietly (the grinding noise was gone) and it was also very very cold.Also if you ever need to get your car inspected - this is where you should go. Youll be done in a jiffy. Theyre very considerate of your time. I was out of there in less than 20 minutes. It was awesome. Ive been to other car repair places and Ive sat there waiting for at least 2 hours before I got my car inspected. So Im impressed with the service. And everyone is super helpful and friendly.Great job everyone and thank you again for fixing my car.

My AC unit had to be repaired. This was taken care of quickly. The owner and his staff are awesome. Theyll review how much the repairs will be for free and let you decide if you want to get it fixed. It was expensive as I had to have other things related repaired as well but totally worth it. Especially with the heat in Houston, I had to have AC. I also decided to have another car repaired and it was done well. If you want work done well and for a good price I recommend coming here. I didnt have to rent a car for a week while waiting on my car. So I saved. Id recommend them any day.

I’m beyond blessed for Deerfield Auto Repair. My family and I have been going for regular maintenance and oil changes for years, but today my check engine light came on and the indicator said there was an emissions problem. The great mechanics hooked my car up, ran some diagnostics and what could have turned into several thousands of dollars worth of work ended up only being a system update that was needed. Joe quickly updated the computers in my car and I was back on the road. I went in for an oil change on my Mercedes 5 years ago at this location. My car was never the same afterward and the headlight cover was cracked when my car was returned to me. My car began to stall often after having it serviced at this location... it even stalled while I was on the freeway. So I took my Mercedes into the dealership and the technician told me I had some old generic parts put into the car. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THOSE GENERIC PARTS GOT IN THERE. I always went to the dealership to service my car. I thought I would be safe having my oil changes done at this Kwik Kar but after my 5 year old Mercedes stopped working well after my oil change service here I new I made a mistake and they forgot to put the cap back on, and I still have the oil stains on my garage floor from the oil spilling out and I had oil all over my engine. It was a mess! After complaining to, who I believe was the owner, I decided to just leave things alone, because he told me he was having health issues. I felt bad for him, because he seemed like a nice guy who maybe has some Not-so-good workers. Ive never been back, Ill never go back. I should have made a review sooner.

Ive taken two cars here now. Theyre super courteous, fast, and dont try to sell me a new engine. The owner is respectful, and the entire staff seems quite knowledgeable. The prices are waay better than I expected. And most importantly, they do repairs!! I paid $110 to change one brake light at a different shop. Here, they threw it in free with flushing my coolant. It would have been $15 otherwise. These guys are great!!

I just had a radiator replaced at Deerfield Auto Repair and Kwik Kar on January 19, 2018 and these guys were fast, affordable, excellent – and straight shooters. Besides the radiator, they recommended replacing the hoses (its an old vehicle) and the price was right. As a first time Deerfield customer, I was impressed by their professionalism and customer service.I had already gotten quotes from OTHER auto repair places, which were not only higher for this service, but also packed with questionable recommendations that would triple or quadruple total costs. Because Im no expert, I did ask Mike to check on those items, just to be safe. The mechanic took a look and he assured me that everything looked OK and no further repairs were needed.Needless to say, Im glad I found Deerfield and they truly delivered. Highly recommended!

Worst place ever not recommending anyone to this place to be honest I would not even give them a single star they charge way too much to replace a simple item and they don’t even do a proper job so if the car breaks down again they They cheat you to take money and don’t do the jobexpect you to go do them for more money I took my car to them it had a starting problem it cranks but does not start sometimes when I looked it up I thought it’s nothing too serious probably just a starter but they told me that they examine the car and there’s like a bunch of stuff wrong which was obviously a lie They replace the crank sensor and bunch of other stuff and also said the spar plugs needs to be replacement along with the valve cover in total that costs $1600 I will told him that I would have to come back for it Then they saidThat they can fix the sensor which primary cause the car not to start so at least it would start and run so I paid almost $500Less than a week I had a same issue where my car doesn’t start again when I go to them again they said they need to take a look at the car again and if it’s something else they’re going to charge more apart from giving the warranty for 12 months for the stuff they fixed which is useless because if they fix the issue properly I wouldn’t have had the same problem with my car and on top of that they’re going to charge me $75 for tour trucking which between them and my house is not even a mile so overall I had a horrible experience go somewhere else do not Waste your money

Ive been coming to Deerfield Auto Repair and Kwik Car for 8+ years now. Even though I no longer live nearby, Im still returning because of the fantastic care my vehicles and myself have received over the years. They are the ONLY mechanics I let touch my trucks. Honesty and integrity are characteristics that the mechanics have here, and they have always been honest with me on the needs of my vehicles and their evaluations of what services I need.The mechanics have always been very willing to answer any questions I might have with detailed explanations, and have even shown me fluids and parts that need to be replaced/repaired. They will often go through the history of my vehicles stored in the computer to see if a service is actually needed before performing it, or if a sensor or notification in my vehicle needs to be reset. They are also very willing to work with me on prioritizing and staggering services if I need multiple services completed but cannot afford to have them all done at the same time.Above all, I love feeling welcomed as if I am family when I walk in the door. Joe Fallin has been taking care of me for years, and I intend on returning for many more years!
