Aweful Copart ever! The yard is like after bombarding, fully destroyed, I drive 9 car hauler and I had full gravel load on it and scrached paint, lucky I wasnt stuck there. Also Ive waste 3 hours in the lanes and on slowliest customer service ever. I recomend everyone to avoid this copart if you value your time!

This is one of the worst Copart in the nationThe wait time, the office personal, the yard is destroyed mud and potholes if you are a transporter be ready to spend the whole day to pick up one car. Copart in houston is the last thing i will visit. staff is misery in the office, unprofessional, services are slow. they do not deserve a penny to pay, this is extortion. after you finish the procedures in the office, a horror awaits you outside, you will have to wait 6 to 8 hours to bring the car. this is a waste of time.I advise you all who plan to buy a car in Copart, think twice before you do, because you will be tax evaded and you will lose at least 2 working days until you get the vehicle. this is the worst thing i have experienced today in copart.I could not give it a minus star, because they deserve it.

Before going we read the mostly negative reviews of this Copart location so we vere pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and the courtesy of all the people who interacted with us.The staff I who helped me on the phone and at the yard was really a pleasure to deal with and we were in and out of the place in less than half a hour.

Really bad place to buy cars. Dealer or junkyards would buy crash cars and take parts off and then release the cars as drive and run when they dont even start. Example see picture of replacing a rear bumper with an extention and the bed is short and the center seat missing.

Scammers. I bought the car like run and drive but it was stationary (in the photo the key is on a plastic clamp for the steering wheel attachments). Actually No keys. And no one is responsible for anything in this Copart. Just don’t forget to pay them money. The key was stolen. Copart stuff cannot help in any way. What will be stolen from the car next time? Engine? Or a catalytic converter? In California they will be stolen on the streets, but in Texas they will be stolen right at the auction.

A friend of mine with a Copart license helped me to buy a salvage car from Copart which I went to their office to pay for. My God! It was the worse experience of my life!The workers at Rankin Road, Houston Texas, were rude, arrogant - you name it - when I went to pay for the vehicle.I had called to make sure I had the correct amount covered in my money orders before driving to their business premises because I was warned they are very callous and unpredictable when it comes to money matters.The lady that answered the phone assured me I had the correct amount in my money order (according to what she saw in their system).After driving to Copart’s business premises for almost an hour, a $5 dollar late fee just showed up in their system out of the blues! And I either had to pay this amount or go back without any transaction! Can you imagine!But the amount is not even the problem. I had to give them the exact $5 bill, and I only had $100 bills on me. And without that $5 payment, the insolent staff made it very clear I would have to drive back ( another almost an hour of drive time) without accomplishing anything!And it was getting close to 5pm, at which time they will not deal with me again! If I should drive out to a convenient store to break up a $100 bill to give them their so-called $5 late fee, I knew I couldn’t make it back before 5 pm...If not for a kind customer that helped me with five $20 notes change, my almost one hour of drive time to Copart’s office would’ve been a wasted effort!In the end, I had to give them a $20 bill because I didn’t have $5 on me, and I didn’t want all my efforts to be in vain!And while I was there, a gentleman that came all the way from Austin, Texas (about 3 hours plus of drive time) was not allowed to pick up his vehicle because he came 15 minutes before 5pm. Can you imagine what wickedness!Whoever owes Copart must be very callous! I belief the staff members are rude, arrogant, insolent, apathetic and condescending to Copart buyers because it’s allowed from the top!If you don’t want to have high blood pressure, keep away from Copart! It’s nothing but a big scam!”

The experience is as you would expect for a company like this, going into it with the following expectations will help:1.Customer service is ok.2. On the day of pick up expect to wait a few hours for your vehicle to be brought to the front if you are picking it up yourself.3. If youre not picking up yourself, the delivery service Im told could take a couple weeks.Other than these 3 items, the fine print on the website explains the rest. If you are prepared to accept this then the experience is a smooth one.

First time here in Copart Houston. I usually buy in Dallas. The experience its just awfull in this location. I got here at 11.30am waited 3hours and half. Yep 3.30hours to get my car.. 2nd. The customer service its just super awful, they are rude people. I dont even know why they work with people. 3rd. Im coming from Dallas, waited that long and they dont have a restroom! Good!!!

Got my paper work at 3:30 was loaded by 4:30..picked up one car...much better then last year! Had to wait 4hours to get one car loaded on my trailer .pretty big copart .i do appreciate the effort to get the drivers in and out..they also increased the amount of people they have working the counter inside. Hope other drivers will have the same experience as me..waiting sucks especially with the ELD MANDATE all coparts /iaai should follow the quick in/out process. Where do I begin? We came all the way from Kentucky to pick up a camper we purchased online based on pictures that hid the real extent of the damage. To add to this someone had cut off the cord that hooks the truck lights and brakes to the camper. So, we are sitting in an rv service parking lot. Because you have to have brakes to haul a 38 foot camper home.Very disappointed.The first 10 pictures show the real damage.The last 3 are the ones they posted...notice how they avoided the real distruction. I may have still bought it...but I wouldnt have paid 12,100 for it.Yes, I could have relisted it. But I am an honest God fearing, love people like Jesus would want me to woman. So, I wouldnt be able to sleep at night if I did.

45 minutes, 30 people in line with NO CLERK HELPING CUSTOMERS . Yes!!! Another day at Copart. UPDATE!!! After you pay for a vehicle, you have to wait about 5 hours and if you ask a question to the people at the gate please be careful they might attack you. I have a video but google does not let me upload. Basically this is how the gate attendant screams at customers if you try to ask a question “GET OUTSIDE THE GATE AND WAIT OVER THERE” what these people don’t understand is that, you are getting paid because of our purchases. Copart hires gangsters with zero manners at the gate.

Avoid at all cost, employees are rude and lack common knowledge of their own job. They for some reason tend to insult customers and think that’s ok . Customer service is non existent in this location and management must be blind or part of the problem . Not only is the staff incompetent but their operating procedures are among the worst I have ever encountered. Wait times are hours long and at first I thought maybe I went on a busy day but after going there 3 times and this being my last ever I now know it’s just the location. I’ve been to 7 other copart locations where none of the previously mentioned problems occur. The biggest problem is the staff and it’s easily noticeable upon entering the building . If you unfortunately must visit this location be prepared to wait for hours upon hours for simple task and for the vehicle to most likely look nothing like the pictures or be missing parts and/or keys. They don’t care about their customers or value their time.

For what its worth, do not come here! Take your business elsewhere. This is the most disorganized auction Ive been to. Manheim and IAA offers more superior service. Here, they dont care of you spend the whole day to pay for a vehicle or to get the title. They are simply rude, unprofessional, disorganized and highly crude. Ive been on the queue for 3 hours, two person behind and the lady went on break. They have no one else to replace her. We are virtually standing while there people keep talking and gisting in group like nothing is happening. The pictures I attached speak for itself. There are several people sitting while tonnes of customers stand and no one to attend to them.Did I tell you the lot is also not tarred. Theres dust everywhere and you have to wait about three hours before their forklifts bring the car. Do not come here! I repeat take your business elsewhere!

I have been transporter for a while and I have went to so many Coparts around United State, and I have never feel so disappointed in one of these actions. I was trying to make an appointment trough the app(as always) to pick up a car, I couldn’t because it said that there was an error with the number that I had. I called the Copart and I talked with a person that checked the car and it was there and she told me that they stop receiving at 4:30pm (as all Coparts). I arrive around 4 and they told me that they were stopping receiving people at 2:30pm because of the wheather (a week before was snowing). By the way the wheather was perfect to going to the beach. They made me waste my time and time is gold.WORST EXPERIENCE EVER IN A COPART

This company does not have organization at all! The information that’s important like “they don’t release any vehicles after 3:30” it should be added for this site while browsing online during their hours of operation. Every copart site say they open from 8-5 M-F, I arrived by 4:15 and logged in to get a place in line. By 4:50 they call me but I don’t make it to the front counter since theres a rep sitting by the front door asking “ am i here to pick up or drop off” i was picking up a trailer RV that just had won on the auction that ended around 3:30, even if i was waiting outside the yard an had already paid its impossible to pick up anything since they “ don’t release any vehicles after 3:30”. Long story short i drove 20 hours to find out that i had to wait until next day of business which it was monday so i can pick up my winning item. In general this company has no understanding of how customer service works. Yes they selling and we buying but all those extra fees are justified by some title “yard fee, gate fee” hum..sure ok but what poor service they offer with so many extra fees they want to pocket. Copart has no structural organization, this site in Houston TX front line employees are no more then 3rd party vendors quick to push any questions or complaints to their managers. Bottom line this is not a customer oriented company at all! F$@& them! Will never do any business again.

Very poor service. I checked in on the kiosk a little after 10AM to pickup one vehicle for a customer it was after 5PM when I finally pulled out the gate. I sat in one spot in line for 3 hours without moving. This location is very disfunction and has no consistency in their job performance. I want to charge detention for having to deal with this place but I know that I would never get it.

This place is a real scam, we bought online couple cars that they post only good pictures of them and they say that no mechanical issues. After paying and going to pick them up after a long hold time which can go to a whole day, we found out cars are not working, transmission is gone, and even some parts stolen. If you complain they have no answer except take your car and go or they start charging you storage. Real scam growing up by taking advantage of poor people.

Timothy Smith and Jesse Perez regional manager and manager of Copart Houston or truly five star men. Carport as a whole has a policy of treating their customers with understanding and dignity. These two men take it to another level. I was in a situation with my co-part account where it was abused by a former employee. It was completely my fault and I was on the hook for a lots of cash. These two men consider the situation and helped me withthis situation, honestly save me a lot of problems. Not only did they resolve my issue, they were absolute professionals about The entire situation. They took the time to listen to me and dealt with this in a timely manner. I can’t thank these men enough, and they’ll never know truly how much it meant to me. Had to drive from eastern Kentucky to pick this truck up we bought because they said they wouldnt load it. The staff inside was great,super friendly and very helpful but the yard guys need to find another place to work. The fellow that drove up in his loader was pretty rude. He kept asking if we were lost and if we knew what we were doing. And then he grabbed my pick up slip from me and roared off in his loader....only to come back with my truck and load it(YES LOAD IT) on my trailer. So I could have gotten it shipped in....thanks for making me drive all the way to Texas, copart. I wont be buying any more vehicles from Houston copart thats for sure.

I have a complain about a damage that was done in my vehicle with a forklift, talked to Karla (o Carla) who was very rude, she flat out told me that if there was damage done in my car it was not their responsibility, and when I asked her then why did I paid them to do exactly, she simply said Have a nice day and hang up. I called back and talked to a second person who was more helpful and gave me an e-mail address so someone could reply to my complain. So if you buy a car from Copart, be careful on how they handle YOUR car, if they damage it, they dont answer for it. But they take your money anyways.In my case I paid over $700.00 in fees that included the handling and loading of the vehicle but they hang up in your face when you make a claim or simply demand some answers, by the way I was never rude to Karla as I was never rude to Claudia who was more helpful and more customer oriented.

I have called for weeks and spoke to 3 different employees and even the manager and they have not fixed my simple issue with a vehicle I am trying to get relisted. All the girls inside the building Very Professional. Fork lift drivers very hard working. security very helpful inside the building, moving the haulers from one line to another keeping things moving alone smoothly. BUT! !!!!!! Those that are working outside on the fork lifts seem to be doing what ever they want. To explain: when the gate guys give the pull out sheets to the fork lift drivers, it seem as if the fork lift drivers pick and choose what and who they want to load first. Not FIRST COME COMES FIRST!

This is the second time that I have bought a car off the auction for private use. Service is definitely getting better, calls are being answered almost immediately depending on what time and what day you call, representatives are more courteous. Office staff seem to handle a high volume of sales. No problem with my title and cars but you have to understand buying through an auction this big, there are bound to be some issues. That is why this isn’t a dealership. Just to be aware of bidding fees, direct buy fees, and any other costs there may be. Do all your research because he will pay a couple hundred dollars if not several hundred dollars toward these fees. Reckon them into your budget. Also make sure that you have all the documentation, get the title application signed before you leave by the dealer on file or if Copart is authorized as an agent. You will need this for registration and titling. Make sure that if you buy a run and drive that you know you might have to jumpstart, and that there is a chance it might not run. Bring oil, engine violent, tool set and jumper cables and be prepared to possibly call roadside assistance since there is no guarantee all the tires will be in a great condition and your spare wheel might be missing and it might not have a jack. Personally I wouldn’t drive the vehicle without first having tags, also I would drive it straight to a mechanic shop since you have no idea if there may be any underlying issues. With both my purchases I had no issues and no problems and yes I had to make repairs and also have to prove it for titling and registration however you won’t have to pay sales tax if you proof the list of rebuilt items. Keep invoices if you are doing it yourself or have a dealership, mechanic shop do it for you. Waited in line for 20 minutes to pay for a car, and watched the desk clerk be very rude to several people. One guy was rightfully upset because he bought a car that said had keys. The lady was very rude and told him regardless they dont guarantee keys. I figured it was just a misunderstanding, and continued to wait. When it was my turn, I was told that I had to pay $1,000 fraud fee due to me not being an authorized user on a credit card that I am authorized to use. It just wasnt my card to that account. So I told them I would not pay that, and they said I had no choice. Or I could call member services. I called member services and waited for 40 minutes on hold only to be told I had to bring my minor son to verify I could use my account with his card. This had to be done before the three free days of storage (one including a holiday). Not possible. So more fees...ugh no! These deposit funds do not even go toward the purchase. This shouldve been addressed prior to bidding not after Ive already been allowed to bid and won a lot!! My son wouldve happily emailed, faxed a notarized statement with copies of the Id and card but that was not sufficient. He isnt available to go by the office. Terrible service considering these funds were only to bid not to buy, and once you win you cant even pick up without paying an enormous fee. Will never use copart again and I will call my bank and dispute funds. This is robbery. They wouldnt even allow me to change the card on file with them. Ridiculous!

Excellent staff, fast & efficient, the longest part is the loading because its so many trucks to get loaded, you have to just be patient. The people are very friendly & helpful. Some people just have to remember that they are not the only ones & so much can only be done at once & to an extent before its no longer in there hands to handle

If you want a giant colossal waste of your time, come shop here. If you want to get treated like dirt by literally every single employee from the minute you walk in the front door until you wait eight hours and finally get your vehicle loaded by the most rude drivers I’ve ever seen, this place is for you.Plan on waiting up to four hours in line for them to take your damn money. Plan on at least another four hours getting routed all over their mud and potholed swamp of a “parking lot” and eventually if you make enough noise to be seen someone might eventually load your vehicle for you. That’s after of course people cut in line, bribe their way to the front or who knows what other agenda these drivers have.Just hope to hell you don’t have an urge of a bodily function because unless you brought your portable toilet, you’re screwed. The only restroom they offer hasn’t been serviced in what looks like five years. Feces running down the walls! No joke!If I was the owner/manager of this facility I would fire half the people here. It’s crystal clear by how they treat people, how slow they work and their overall lack of concern for the customer or any pride whatsoever in their job.Truly Sad!

Literally the worst business. Some how they keep getting people to fall for it. The over priced cars and fees, hidden damage, incomplete descriptions, dishonest descriptions. I dont know how the owners/managers sleep at night.

Made a mistake on my behalf on a live auction. GM responded in a prompt manner but could not resolve my issue BUT his boss promptly the next day helped me resolve my issue. If you have patience someone will take care of you, just make sure you do your diligence and follow up. Thanks Co-Part for excellent customer service...

Reason for one star is that forklift guys kinda slow. We got other cars to pick up from other places that close just like your place at 430pm. And I got here at 11am and now its 135pm and Im still not loaded. We dont get paid hourly wage like u, we gotta hurry to make it on time for picks and drops. If we dont do this then whole point of having your auction is pointless. Yall got your jobs cause people buy cars and we deliver it to them!!!!

Cheaters Cheaters CheatersI bought van from Copart Houston it should be gasoline fuel they wrote in car information the fuel is gas when’s I receive it it was CNG fuel which is surprising me .This people never been truly and trusty’s.Be carful when you dealing with this couples of scammers and cheating people.
