Cody is the best.

Charged $435 for them to run a vacuum hose through my dryer vents and clean them out. Was called a deep scrubbing. Then they charged $150 for a new dryer hose and vent cover (caulking is done horribly). Total bill over $630. I did not let them work on second vent, paid them, and asked them to please go. Overcharged excessively! Also the company that showed up was not called West Houston Dryer...they went by Service Pro. Beware.

Great service on the phone and in person! They were able to come out and get my dryer vent clean in a day. I had a later appointment but then I was moved up to an earlier time. Highly recommended!

Our new LG dryer flow vent sensor showed a 95% airflow blockage. Just 4 months previously we had paid to have the vent cleaned and were told there was a crook in our vent between the 2nd and 3rd floor which he could not get through. West Houston Dryer was highly recommended by Village Plumbing. Their technician Kevin arrived 15 minutes early and after removing a lot of wet lint blockage told us to run the air only cycle for an hour or two. After two successful dryer loads the flow sensor came back on. True to their 6 month guarantee, Kevin returned 3 days later without charge, and worked on it until the blockage finally let loose, due to his previous visit suggestion to run the air only cycle that dried out the wet lint blockage just enough for their powerful vacuum to clear the vent. Kevin was professional, personable, courteous and would not give up as others had. I highly recommend West Houston Dryer as a business with the right tools, ingenuity, determination to deliver the highest customer satisfaction and stand behind their 6 month warranty, no questions asked. Nothing short of what you would expect from a veteran owned and operated company.

Excellent service from West Houston Dryer Vent! The first of the year we unfortunately got a rip-off dryer vent company out here, and they ended up doing more damage than good. Cody went above and beyond to clean and repair the dryer vent system. He spent two hours here, and most of it up in the hot attic. Definitely a five star company!

I gave this company a call because I was looking for air duct cleaning. The one I spoke to let me know they didnt do this service, but instead of leaving it at that he was still willing to stay on the phone with me and gave me his honest recommendations. He let me know to stick with the larger companies that are more reputable and he warned me of ways that smaller companies can rip you off! This extra time spent giving his genuine advice didnt profit him at all, but he was willing to help me out! I havent had any services done by them, but these are the kind of quality guys you will be dealing with and I will definitely be coming to them when I require one of their services.

Put in a service request on-line on Sunday for dryer vent cleaning. Joe called a few hours later, asked what was happening. He said he knew exactly what was wrong, probably would not need the vent cleaning. He came Monday morning, found that the hose/duct in the attic was loose, which he fixed. Then he vacuumed up all the accumulated lint behind the dryer caused by the vent attached to the wall was bent. Hose even had water in it, which he emptied. He was there almost an hour - I am so pleased. Work is guaranteed for a year and I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!

He could have just done the minimal amount, but let me tell you, he spent an hour at my home and wouldnt leave until his job was done up to his standards.He actually have me a better deal than he quoted me on the phone. This company is awesome! I called for service after another company cleaned my dryer vent. After the other company cleaned the dryer vent and after we replaced our new dryer with a different dryer, we were still having issues. The other company was scheduled to come back to check but I was really concerned that the tools they use would not be able to get our dryer vent fully cleaned. Therefore, I called West Houston Dryer Vent. I called after business hours but the owner returned my call. Although they were already booked the following day, he actually offered to come out to my home and check out the issue (no fee) even though I arranged the first company to come back. He was so extremely helpful and walked me through all the things that should have been done and he did them as well. This morning I smelled a burning smell coming from my dryer. Joel quickly diagnosed the cause as the improper use of a screen over the rooftop vent. Joel from West Houston Dryer Vent Cleaning company came out to my house today and solved my dryer vent problem--something that another duct cleaning business could not do. Four weeks ago, I hired a company, referred by a subcontractor, to clean the duct from my dryer, through the second story, to the roof where it vents. The company came in, was here 30 minutes and said its clear.First load of permanent press clothes took 4 cycles to get damp dry. Gave up and hung clothes all over the house. I paid the company a healthy fee and they couldnt figure out the problem.West Houston Dryer Vent Cleaning was recommended to me by a Samsung repair rep and he said Joel was the best. Thats what I needed. And the rep was right. Joel is the best! He responded quickly, came in and assessed the situation, and said its one of two things. It was and he fixed it quickly and charged me MUCH LESS than the other company!!!Joels approach was to tackle and solve my problem. And he did. He didnt just come over to clean a duct and leave. He looked at the total picture and I knew before he left that I wasnt going to have 4 weeks of running a dryer 4 cycles to dry every load of clothes--which is what the first company left me with. He warranties his work for 6 months which is commendable and shows that he knows what he is doing.I have the utmost respect for his abilities and will be utilizing his company yearly as I dry large amounts of blankets, sheets, towels and dog bedding.

Very terrific experience with this company. They performed dryer vent cleaning a few months ago after an appliance repair company said that a dirty vent was causing my thermal fuses to overheat and fail. Joel (the owner) did the vent cleaning himself. Fast forward to this week and the thermal fuses failed again (older dryer by the way) and again was appliance repair company said that a dirty vent was the cause. This is my first time to write a review for any service I have recieved, however I am so impressed with the difference in my dryer, I thought it was necessary. I have three large dogs that shed immensly and dog hair is a part of everything I own. I wash their blankets all of the time and the dog hair and lint had really clogged up my dryer vent. Joel told me it should only take 50 minutes to dry a load of towels, not three cycles like it was taking me. To be honest, I figured it was just a sales pitch. However, he was right! He serviced my dryer a few days ago and the results have been great thus far. He did a great job and was very professional. I highly recommend this company.
