SA Specialties installed my AC 5 years ago and this year during regular maintenance by another company found out the coil was leaking freon. SA came out same day and warranty on coil and labor were still covered. The 2 workers Ramon and Josh (I believe)sent out were very friendly and informed.

They are professional and friendly. The technician who did the checkup on our 4 compressors stayed until the job was done. He cleaned and inspected them and also made sure the heaters will work when they become necessary. Im glad I chose SA specialties to replace my outdated equipment. I recommend them.

Today was definitely a “Good Friday “ because three angels ascended to install my HVAC system. Josue Carbajal, Victor Lopez, and Raul Carbajal were so professional. They came in on time and installed my system perfectly. The difference is night and day from my old system. These guys are the best!!!!! In 2016 SA Specialties installed a new complete HVAC system in my house. My experience was excellent. Fast forward to 2020 and the outside coil failed. The manufacturer (Lenox) was not stepping up to back their product. Enter Jeremy of SA Specialties. He worked tirelessly for a week to get a new unit from Lenox and get it installed. Jeremy made it all happen and now the system is working again. This was all completed at no cost to me. I strongly recommend SA Specialties and Jeremy to anyone.

I bought an HVAC system. Big bucks so I borrowed money out of my equity in my home. They came out as scheduled and a few hours later the system was up and cooling us off after 6 weeks of no cooling in Katy Spring heat. It was touch and go as the unit is programmed for the home and its size. There were tweaks that had to be done and they were done. Watch out for the fine print that says your warranty is valid based on required service maintenance. Annually like clockwork, we have a professional come out and service the system. Make sure you keep your receipts of these services.

I just completed a semi-annual Service call with SA Specialist Technician-Kevin. Kevin conducted a through review of my unit- while he explained what he was doing and answered all of my questions. Kevin came out for a PM, he was very professional and did a fantastic job. He also fixed the compressor outside which had been getting louder and louder over time and turns out all it required was tightening down all the screws which had started to loosen due to vibration. It is now as quiet as the day it was installed which was also by SA Specialties a few years ago. To date we have been very pleased with this company.

I had an AC that went out three years ago. The company I had that had done my repairs for ten+ years did the best sales presentation I have ever seen and I am a sales person...they were dressed in great uniforms and they were twice as expensive as SA. My unit installed, the installers did a great job...and the post install checks, and follow up met all the requirements. I think they did an excellent job.

Called, had immediate, courteous response, evaluation the next day, installation the day after.I had priced equivalent units from 4 companies, SA was was the best priced and by far, the most professional in quoting.Old system was removed, no mess at all, new unit installed and thorough operational explanation provided, the same day. Got follow up calls as well.I would recommend this firm, which is family owned. I plan to have them replace 2 more units when needed.

I was hesitant to use because the price was considerably lower than my lowest bid. I had a neighbor use them so I went ahead and did it. The crew was outstanding, Bobby continued to answer my million questions even throughout the day of installation. I am very very pleased so far. They have left my house clean they were kind and courteous, so far so good. I already recommended them to a friend whose ac just went out.

SA Specialties installed my new A/C system 4 full years ago. They do a spring and a fall inspection (for a very nominal charge) each year. They seem to keep the same employees year after year. For example, Kevin has come most of the time and is due my highest praise. I consider the decision to buy my new system from SA Specialties to be one of the smartest decisions I ever made.

A service technician Kevin came to service a broken unit. He was with the time window, knowledgeable about the products, and patiently waiting while we got some issues taken care of. He was great and i will be marketing to my friends and family about the great service.

SA Specialties installed our system in 2011. Their annual service contract is very reasonably priced, so I purchase it every year. They come spring and fall to clean and check the system. They are easy to get an appointment with, and always come when they say they will. Every technician over the years has been competent and friendly. Today was the first time my system needed a small part replaced. Technician Kevin was great! He knows his HVAC! Had the part in his truck, and got everything cleaned up and ready for summer quickly and inexpensively. I highly recommend SA Specialties! And technician Kevin!

We had our a/c and furnace systems installed almost 4 years ago by SA Specialties and our blower motor went out on us. Fortunately, we have a 10 year warranty on parts. The only down side was waiting almost a week to have it reinstalled. Kevin came out and quickly installed a new one. He was very polite, courteous and speedy in repairing our unit. Good man.

Although the technician (Roger) arrived a little late because of issues with previous calls, he was very polite and helpful. He answered all my questions and did a very good job with the spring maintenance check up for my ac system, including changing the Aprilaire filter (which is something of a chore). I would recommend him and SA Specialties to anyone needing ac work.

My experience with SA Specialists was very unprofessional. They do not stand behind their products. They nickel and dime you before actually evaluating the problem. The manager I spoke with was very condescending with his response to my questions. We purchased a unit 5 years ago and already it has a leak and the coil is frozen. This should never happen, and to add insult to injury, the manager stated it would be $900+ charge for labor. Really???? Buyer beware. They only give you a warranty on labor for the first year of purchase. Go figure. Who in the right mind charges almost $1000 for labor of an air conditioning unit?

We had a problem with our A/C unit, it wasnt cooling. Contacted SA Specialtieswho sent Kevin, a very knowledgeable and professional technician. Kevin quickly identified the problem, fan motor burned out, and needed to be replaced.The next day, he returned, replaced the fan motor and conducted a service tune-up and all was well again.I highly recommend SA Specialties for all your HVAC needs.

Our A/C stopped blowing cold this morning.I called and scheduled an appointment for an A/C tech to come out and fix the issue. The technician, Kevin, arrived around 5:00PM and quickly identified that my issue was with a bad capacitor. The unit was still under warranty so I only had to pay for the labor to replace the part.Kevin also performed the spring checkup while he was here so I would not have to make another appointment. It took him about 90 minutes to complete all the work and he even replace the air filters before he left.I will use them again.

SA Specialists installed new AC unit in Sept 2017. May 2019 an AC service call was made on the unit and it was determined that High Voltage contactor was not tightened properly when the unit was installed causing it to melt. I contacted SA Specialists and their stance was that it was found by their enemy and because it was installed soooo long ago [less than 2 years] that it was not their problem. So I had to pay $297 because they dont stand behind their installation errors.

I had my whole system replaced by SA Specialties 6-17 My house is now cool quiet and comfortable. The installers started at 08:00 and were finished by 4:00 They did a professional job form start to finish. SA SPECIALTIES advertised pricing and written estimate are exactly correct, no bait & switch no add ons. I had a problem with the new thermostat, and they sent their most experienced tech out after hours to correct the problem. This company is one of very few that does a HONEST, PROFESSIONAL Job. In my experience I would not trust anyone else, with this job, or waste time with 2-3 estimates from others. My experience was horrible! During the consultation the technician was rude and unprofessional. He obviously didn’t want to do the job so he gave me a random excuse that they don’t do duct work. Seriously! Based on these other horrible reviews..it sounds like we dodged a bullet! Thanks for being honest. We will happily spend our money somewhere else!

I would not buy from this company ever again! One of the units they installed is leaking air at the bottom of plenum, this needs to be screwed down taped and sealed. This repair will cost me $325.00. The company who inspected my units said that the unit was not properly installed. The inspection was done 12 months and 15 days after SAS installed the units, so of course they said I have to pay for them to come out and pay for whatever repair maybe needed because the installation is over a year old. It was also noted at inspection that all my 3 units are low on refrigerant levels, 2 of the units are only 1 year and 15 days old, the 3rd unit is about 3 years old. I think this company is only interested in selling, the service I got 6 months after they installed the units was not quite professional.

On Jan 23, 2017 I purchased a Lennox XC21 from SA Specialties. The unit was rated very high on CONSUMER REPORTS. Price was great, salesman helpful, but as it turns out the unit as NEVER worked as designed. It has only operated in the high speed mode never in the energy efficient low speed setting. So during this whole time the additional savings that I was suppose to see from the technology in a two stage unit was never realized. Six months before my unit was installed, my neighbors had the exact same unit installed. We checked their unit and sure enough it wasnt working as designed in two stages either. We relied on SA Specialties installers to test the system thoroughly during install and make sure the system was working as designed. They had not! So if you have a two stage unit that they have installed do yourself a favor and make sure that most of the time it is running on Stage one (low speed). Stage two (high speed) should only power up when there is change of temp of 5 degrees up or down.After servicing both of our systems today my neighbors system is running in two speeds, mine is not. Verdict for my unit is a possible mother board failure or the fan motor is defective. Now to wait for replacement parts.Ive given a three star review for the business hoping that they will follow up with new parts and an HVAC system that works as designed.Ill post an update once the repairs are completed. In the meantime do your homework! Thats the only way you know what to expect from your system!

Ive used SA twice. Once for a five ton Trane system and six months ago on a two ton Ruud. Both times their installation was perfect, and I say this because I had a different company QC their work afterwards. I went with SA because their prices beat every other bidding company by large margins. (However, proper installation is much more important than pricing.) I recommended them to my neighbor across the street, and they have since replaced both of her systems, and she was completely satisfied. My first system has been in over three years now with zero problems. The second system has been in six months with no issues. I would use them again and would recommend them over any other company in my area.(I have no financial interest in SA Specialties.)

Absolute worst A/C company in the country, will not own up to their mistakes! installed a A/C unit did not connect main drain to drain in house. it backed up and flooded my house causing 11k in damage.I highly recommend call someone else!

I have used SA specialists to replace my 4 year old AC unit with new Lennox unit. They did a horrible job. Water was leaking in the attic because pipe was not hooked to the condenser unit properly. Poor customer service. Please do not use SA Specialities for new AC unit installation or repair.

I would recommend this company to anyone need a new system or dervice on your existing one,They showed up on time, finished in one day and covered everything, cleaned up, like they were not there, and followed up the next day to assure all went well, and confirm any rebates.
