Michael Sweet was an excellent technician. He showed professionalism and was knowledgeable. He explained the issue I was having with my air conditioner in a way that helped me understand. Unfortunately, I could not afford the fix that I was needing, so I will just deal with the issue in the meantime. One hour air conditioning and heating is a reliable team and have excellent customer service. Too bad the price was too high. They are taking COVID precautions and have fast service, depending on the area your in. I will recommend their service to others.

From diagnosis to install the service was excellent the tech new what he was doing and helped us step by step to find financing and to choose the right system for our needs. The installers where excellent also, installed complete ac system the next day and in 6 hours.They where very neat, cleaned up all debris even debris that was left by our roofers hauled off old ac unit and did a great job installing they also moved the new ac from under my kitchen window at my request and did a great job.The price was fair and we are very happy with our new ac. I feel like they went above and beyond and really care about their customersThank you to all for doing such a speedy and excellent job. We are VERY HAPPY!

Typical big air conditioning repair racket company— the reps are interested in one thing -SELLING YOU A SYSTEM you don’t need. They show up and every time they tell you you need to replace everything and preset you with an estimate of 14K. I finally couldn’t take any more of it and fired them forever- Good Riddance.

He explained in great detail the issues with our system and the options for repair vs replacing it. I have used One Hour for my home since 2015. Last year late on a week day, I had a major coil issue. They came out promptly, the technician left my home at 8 pm with all materials ordered and had it fixed the very next day! JP is my service man and when I say that he takes service to the next level, he does! He is thorough in his work on my unit, when he comes out bi-annually; he explains everything very thorough and discusses all scenarios for you-the customer-to make the best decision for the dwelling and the family. Every single time that I schedule my service, the appointment staff can tell you, that I insist on JP. He is an amazing reflection of professionalism upon One Hour and their services! I highly recommend him and this company to everyone! PS: They have a great maintenance plan that you can pay a few dollars a month and they service 2 times each year, plus being a member allows you to get discounts on parts when needed. Our technician, Alfredo was great, he made a thorough check of our three units and recommended several parts that had reached their end of life be replaced to help protect the units and run more efficiently. He was respectful to us and our home. He was very well educated about what needed to be done and followed manufacturers specifications for the units. After trying to toil with my unit myself and sweating for a couple days. I decided it was time to call a guy. Well they were quick professional, didnt over or upcharge. They even texted me a profile of the tech coming to my house. He was courteous, and knowledgeable. Felt like he respected me and my home. I did not have a good experience with companyWithin one hour the guy was ready to charge me.close to a thousands dollars for 2 wires and told me it would work and did not even go up.the attic to even check my a.c.It did not work. He automatically said I needed a new A.C. and told.me I needed to.hurry and get a new a.c. It took 3 days for a service manager to call.me.back. He also did not resolve anything. He Has not called me back to resolve anything.

Chris arrived on schedule and was very polite. I like that the company sends you their profile linked to their reviews so you know what to expect beforehand. Chris took the time to educate (he even drew pictures) me on our system and what we could expect to replace in the future. I joined their membership club and will be taking better care of my unit. Our AC went out on Sat Morning and one of the only companies able to come out to check on it that day was One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating. Stephen showed up and inspected the interior furnace/blower unit and determined the problem was a bad circuit board. To the best of my knowledge, he didnt even go outside to inspect the exterior unit. He quoted ~$1,250 to repair it and couldnt tell me when hed actually be able to get the part to repair. He also tried to sell me on a monthly service plan. I decided to wait until Monday to get a second opinion. Quality Air came out and determined the problem was not the interior circuit board, but rather some wiring issues caused by sun damage and a bad fuse on the exterior unit. They fixed the problem for ~$200 in about an hour. The $85 service charge I paid to 1 Hour AC and Heating was a complete waste. I wish I hadnt called them.

One Hour installation my ac last year. The technicians were nice. Everything was new and supposed to be working. I even signed up for the monthly club. The month after ac installation the thermostat went from cool to heat. And Houston summers are brutal. First time I thought it’s a fluke. It happened several times I called One Hour the tech said since he didn’t see it happen it didn’t happen and if he replaced the thermostat I had to pay $800. It happened a couple of more times and it happened again this summer. I told the tech in who came out in March and the tech who came out in July. Now my warranty is past they said today not only do I have to pay the trip charge but the cost of a new thermostat. DON’T USE ONE HOUR

Alan, the company’s technician, explained the status of my vents, etc., and I concluded this was not the service I needed for my problem which is far more limited in scope. Alan was extremely helpful and knowledgable.

Our run capacitor had gone out and they were able to have Tim come the same day. He had the part on the truck and was able to repair, then check the system again within about 45 minutes after arriving. Very nice, very professional and didn’t do any hard up-selling, which we appreciated.

Thinh was my technician. He was wonderful! I had 2 other companies come out before him and they told me the AC was completely shot and needed replacing, which I already suspected. But they wouldn’t further diagnose what was wrong and it explain clearly what it was. I wanted to know the root of the problem to make my own assessment. Thinh spent a long time diagnosing, trying to repair, and explaining.Now I know the whole story. He was extremely thorough, kind, and knowledgeable. He even gave a respectful bow as he was leaving :)

Everyone was professional and honest, from the original service call to the eventual install of two new units. Response times were fast and the work was high quality. I had two units replaced. The A/Cs that were replaced were much older and configured differently than the replacements. In order to install the new A/Cs the crew had to build out a platform and add decking but they were still able to finish the job in one day.

They came out when they said they would to give us an estimate on replacing our entire system. After spending less than an hour evaluating our home and setup in the attic we were give some options. Not only did they listen to my concerns and my questions about my old system but they pointed out the most reliable and cost effective system to purchase. I truly felt as though we were not over sold or lied to about what we needed. We will be continuing to receive service after install because of the honesty of the employees.

Stephen Lu (my technician) definitely knows his stuff. He takes the time to explain everything in as much detail as you can handle . He didnt try to sell me a bunch of stuff that I didnt need, but he did make me aware of things that will be needing attention in the future. He s top notch!

I used this company at the beginning of the year and signed up for their program. The first time they sent a tech he was inexperienced, a week after he came out an issue occurred. They came out again and repaired. I had my AC maintained again, three weeks ago tech said it was good. Then a few weeks later it stopped working again. I called on Monday and they said they couldnt have anyone out until Thursday, part of the membership was to get priority treatment when your AC has issues. I received no call back as I had escalated this timeline so I called another AC company to fix my issue. Then, I called and cancelled my membership. The following week they are charging me again. This is the type of company that you call and they submit a ticket and you wait. There is no one to really talk to when you have issues like mine. It goes into a black hole. They have sent inexperienced techs that seem to damaged my AC then come back out and charge you to repair. They are over priced and not on time. Be aware, do your research and get a more experienced tech for a more reasonable price.

Just Wow! They made a same day appointment and even called and gave me an earlier appointment. The tech was so friendly and polite! He explained everything and gave me a fair price. He was fast and my a/c is cooling like dream now.

We hired this company based on all the good reviews. So when we called to make the first time appointment with them, we asked the technician with the most good review.Everything sounded promising until the last minute of the scheduled appointment, they called us someone else was on his way because they one we asked for no longer worked with them.Wish they could have told us not at the last minute so we could decide whether to go with them . We took off from work for the appointment so we did not want to waste the day off, just stuck with whoever they sent which was average,not that impressive. Second time called them just wanting to have a quote on the unit .We already knew whats wrong with the unit. We called twice just to made sure they would send the technician after certain time because again we had to leave work early to meet them. We also explained we just needed a quote on the unit and we could provide them all the model number or information they needed. Fair enough they insisted on sending a technician to look at the unit and verify the information .The lady said they could waive the service charge for just giving quote. Not being informed that they would call again on the day of service,we missed their call.When I finally called them back to let them know my husband was on his way as planned,probably still 20 minutes before the scheduled time,they told us they had sent the technician somewhere else since we did not pick up.the call.? First of all, We were never told they would call to reconfirm the appointment on day of service . Second of all,both of us were not able to be on the phone most of the time for our job natures.Thats why we called and reconfirmed the appointment twice the day before .Anyway, they said they would call back to let us know when they could come the same day .They never called us back so I called them.Finally there came the technician, not only he insisted on.charging us he could not give us the quote on the unit.He said he need to send somebody some other day to .so that they could measure this and that, which we were not convinced why couldnt he do it if just for measurement. I guess they sent a very junior technician who could not do much.We could not even find his name or face on their company review . Not only we would prepare to pay another $89 show up charge,we would have to take another day off from work to meet them just to get the quote which should have been done by a technician.Or he could have got the measurements he needed and emailed us the quote from the company . Seriously, sending someone else on a different day for the measurement and quote? Would not recommend this company at all, everytime u called and talked to different persons,they told you different things,the worst was they did not communicate .

Thomas Klein at One Hour AC & Heating did an amazing job! Our AC went out in late May, in Houston, and we didnt know what was wrong with it. Thomas was here the following day first thing in the morning. He even arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule!Within moments of arriving and me describing the problem Thomas had a hunch of what was wrong. Turns out, 20 minutes later after running diagnostic checks and getting on the roof, he was spot on.Before performing any costly maintenance on the system he asked me what I wanted to do and explained the pros and cons in an easy to understand manner. I asked to follow along while he performed the repairs and asked that he explain what he was doing. Thomas explained what he was doing and showed me where things were so I could be more knowledgeable about our system.COST: What everyone wants to know right? Very reasonable pricing. They have tiered pricing depending on the complexity of the job required. I understand he is fairly new; perhaps that is why. He did an excellent job and I was very pleased with how professional and personable he is. I will request Mr. Bailey when my heater needs to be checked out for winter.

Excellent work! When my AC broke down in July in Texas on a Sunday, they got me back up and running again in no time. Sean was professional and knowledgeable and was able to fix the problem quickly. Even installed a starter assist kit that my builder apparently cut a corner on and left out, so the unit is running better than ever. Would use again and would recommend.

This was my first time using One Hour and I will definitely use again. The entire process was flawless. I sent a request late Sunday night and had an email exchange with a rep identifying my needs and time of availability. I received a call at 7:00 the next morning and a technician was out around 8 am. I had air by 9. The technician, J was very professional, prompt and competent.

First off the name of the company is misleading but that isnt the issue. Im in Houston, TX where its nice and steamy especially when the AC fails. Nice technician came out to diagnose an AC unit not turning on. After being in the attic for some time he says he would need to put 2 pounds of freon in to do a leak test and diagnostic. I agreed.. now into them for $375... He comes back and tells me the evaporator coil has a huge leak. Cant tell me how much to replace it or the entire system. Told me a salesman would come the next day to give me prices. Says I should just replace the whole system since its 8 years old. I call another company out the next day and they found a shorted wire. That is all... a freakin shorted wire that he quickly replaced. Charged me a few bucks and found no leaks after their test. Im not sure if this was just an oversight on the techs part or part of some predatory sales technique to sell more units but I will never use them again. Proceed with caution....

Jeff Lucas did an outstanding job reviewing the options for repairing our AC system. This is the 2nd time hes worked as our install advisor, and I think it was an even better experience. His anecdotes about his children and his good natured sense of humor help to reduce the stress that goes along with a high-cost home repair. Jeff is a wonderful human, a remarkable dad, and both highly-skilled and highly-experienced at his physics-based craft of increasing AC air movement and efficiency. Shahzad was the latest technician to come to our house and he was extremely professional, kind, and performed great work. All the technicians over the years have been wonderful, honest, and caring (yes, caring.) I appreciate their attention to detail and honesty on the condition of our AC and Heating system. This is why weve had them as our service company for 7 years now. I recommend them to anyone. They may not be the cheapest. The professionalism, honesty, and quality of work are worth the extra cost for the piece of mind that our AC and Heating systems are working as they should. Especially in our Houston hot summers.

I only gave this company 2 stars because the 3rd technician, Craig Bolden that came out did assure me he was going to get the job done after being without my AC an entire week; and that he did. The two previous technicians repaired parts on the AC that eventually broke within a week. I contacted the company furious and demanded a refund which they said they couldn’t do. They ended up sending an experienced technician after I requested someone who knew what they were doing. Craig had to go find the parts needed at another company and came back and completed the job. They only gave me a 30 day warranty because the claim the system is not one they usually work on but the previous technicians had already touch it so it was their responsibility to fix the issue. They recommended I upgrade my system to a larger unit which was installed incorrectly by the builders. I am now only turning on the thermostat upstairs. I’m sure I will be contacting this company again for future AC repairs

The tech who came to our home was awesome (which is why I gave any stars), but there seems to be a lack of communication with dispatch and the people coming out. We were told he would be there around 5:15, he didn’t show up until 6:40. Also, they canceled on us last minute on the day of for our last appointment, which was inconvenient. Then when I tried to get someone to call back, they never did. Going to have to think long and hard if I want to continue to do business with this company.

He’s very down to earth, profession (explains every detail of his work and answers all my questions so that I understand how the components of my HVAC function).Alfredo is very detail oriented and takes pride in his work. In the 7 years I’ve had my HVAC maintained, Alfredo has gained my loyalty. He gives his honest suggestions, some of them may be company required, but his delivery is not abrasive and I don’t feel like he’s being disingenuous. I have worked with him twice and will continue to request him because of his exemplary customer service.

The level of service provided to me by the technical representative Joseph Jones was outstanding and over & beyond my expectations. Mr. Jones used every opportunity to explain my System (accompanied by videos of my system )and help me understand the functionality, current condition, and the importance of maintenance for longevity of the system.. Unlike a lot of companies, I was never pressured (I hate) to buy anything, but suggested future necessities to consider. One Hour installed my heating and air-conditioning system a year ago.
