Terrible service, DONT USE THESE GUYS!!! The person who diagnosed my fridge didnt get all the parts needed and the subsequent two other repair people couldnt fix it because they needed more and more parts! Four appointments and it still wasnt fixed I called the whole thing off and went out to buy a new fridge. It has been 3 weeks and still no refund yet. Just terrible!

The technician was very personable, and checked the temperatures in the fridge and freezer, and SAID the coils looked clean, but he did NOT clean them! Four days later, we went to install a new water filter (which he had recommended) and see that the coils and outer cover are full of dust! By the way, he could have offered to demonstrate how to remove and replace the water filter, which would have been more relevant than the advice he offered about other appliances.

First of I didn’t sign an estimate accepted form like they said. It was signed w an X not by me.The tech came with only a ratchet and took off the screws on the back panel of the freezer. The defrost sensor was placed by the factory on the insulated part of the pipe. The tech just Repositioned it on the pipe. He then put back the panel and said it’s done. It took maybe 15 minutes. He wrote on the invoice he tested itHe then printed out an invoice w the total cost of $308.90. And also prior to printing the invoice he printed out the estimate accepted form. I directed him to write that the defrost sensor was placed by the factory on the insulated part of the pipe.I requested for a credit from the repair department and explained what had happened. The manager agreed that I should receive credit for this repair. Over a month later I still didn’t receive my credit.

I am posting this on two Sears locations on Oahu since this repair guy did not share any location of where he works!We just had an encounter today with a repair person and All he gave us, was that his name was John (probably a fake name) and he has a supervisor under the name Glenn or Kyle.My family has been paying warranty for their new refrigerator from Sears and it recently has stopped keeping their food cold and ice frozen.In the past month and a half, my parents have had Sears inspectors come in their house THREE TIMES (no Covid precautions for customers or workers), thrown food away because their refrigerator and freezer can’t keep their food cold, and have been verbally disrespected from this John repair person; word for word “Well, do you want me to this or not...”After their appointment today, they still have no compressor and need to wait another week to get it fixed. What’s the point of warranty if Sears is not fixing the issue.I am very disappointed with the people who Sears has hired when there are so many people unemployed and could do a better job at customer service.

It was certainly over charged for a simple work to restart my gas range without informing me how simple it was.and did not perform any detailed analysis and suggestions on my fridge. No written report and explanation, just said will cost me over $ 350.00Did not even check the back of the fridge as I was offer my help to pull out the fridge which had wheels. No tools being used and only 10 minutes and left. Did not mention and offer any special discount according to the email message.Have owned multiple apartment rentals, this was the worst workmanship that I ever experienced especially for my own residence.Will suggest to all my friends and not using Sears appliance repair again. The worst.

Repair person, Jonathan, called ahead of his arrival. Gave appliance a thorough check-up and announced that parts no longer exist for that model. I paid the diagnostics fee and that was that. Have not been able to find a comparable model at either Sears Appliances or Best Buy.

Repair man was AWESOME! Pleasant, helpful, and upsold me on additional appliance cleaning service which I took! Only downside of the experience was that the 4-hour arrival window came and went with no word from him. I had to contact Sears for an update and was told hed be another hour and fifteen minutes. I cant blame the guy as he appeared to be running 100 miles an hour, but perhaps someone from scheduling could have called me??

My dishwasher one day decided to stop cleaning my dishes. Note that it worked one day, did not work the next day. The tech did not even bother to listen to my concern and insists that it was an user error. All they told me was to turn up my water heater temperature (it is set to 125F) and use jet dry. Completely useless suggestions that obviously didnt work. Listen to the other reviewers. STAY AWAY.

I give 4 stars to Jason who is the nicest service guy. They would have received 5 stars had they had the situation more organized. They scheduled a replacement of our washer motherboard. When the service time came, Jason called to ask whether we received the part in the mail. No we didnt. He had to go get it at the shop. When he arrived, Sears did not schedule a helper to help him lift the stackable unit. This delayed the fix for yet another day. We went a month in a half without a washer. Had it not been for Jasons apologies and his great pleasant attitude I would have unleashed and complained.Get it together Sears. Thank you Jason for being so pleasant.

Had an appointment for Tuesday from 1-5pm. Took off work to be there and I get a call the next morning saying they moved my spot to a day later! I was upset and spoke to a manager who only offered points to purchase something at Sears. No help at all! Terrible customer service! I called A1 and they came out the same day. Don’t use these fools. They don’t care.

The service was superb. The technician was quick and accurate. But the UPS experience was another matter. There are so many hoops to jump through and the timing of the delivery is essentially: stay home all day, hoping the item will eventually arrive. Garbage!

Tech came on time. Assessment took a while due to their need to contact their online technical expert for guidance to trouble shoot my ice maker on my refrigerator. Once problem was identified, the repair was relative quick. Appreciated the techs professionalism and courtesy while on site addressing my issue.

Kenmore refrigerator repair INCOMPETENCE! Five hours! Needed to replace dryer and compressor.1. Did not have correct tools. Second tech needed to make two trips to bring out tools.2.Since did not correct tools, he tried to desolder dryer with torch. Unsuccessful, but scorched foam insulation. He did not have a heat resistant mat.3. Bent the access panel. Left the Panel next to the cased opening and he bent it when he accidentally pushed the new compressor waiting to be installed into the panel. He tried to straighten it but he was only partially successful.4. Not sure if the compressor is installed incorrectly or if a filler valve was not removed, but that part is projection out beyond the back of the refrigerator, preventing the access panel from seating correctly.5. There is no insulation on the newly installed dryer. The original one was wrapped with insulation.6. Dented the front left door. Since he had to pull the unit away from the wall to access the back, he did not realize the unit was close to the kitchen counter. He attempted to pull open the door and he did not realize is was hitting the counter. He kept pulling on the door until my son informed him the door was hitting the counter!7. THE WORST PART! He used a soapy leak testing solution to test for leaks. He noticed bubbles and asked my son to verify that there was bubble. He response to my son was that he was concerned about that and that if he needed to come back, at least he would know where the leak was. He then proceeded to pack up and stated to my son that he needed to get to his next appointment. As would be expected, the interior of refrigerator was at room temperature the next morning. Two hours after the tech left, the refrigerator was at 55 degrees.8. Five Hours! Arrived: 10:53 am Left: 4:16 pm9. Second tech arrived at 11:55 am and left at 12:18 pm. Second tech returned at 12:46 pm and left at 1:02 pm.

Sears has been completely useless. The telephone answering technicians have been less than helpful while also unable to answer any of our questions. They are fantastic at apologizing and passing our call on to another receptionist who then puts us on hold for hours at a time. The technicians cannot repair any of their manufacturing defects whenever they are deployed. Sear is an utter joke.

Service representative was good. He explained everything so that I could understand. The parts were ordered and he showed me how to change the gaskets. What upseted me was that I was sent the wrong parts and had to go through 3 phone calls to order the correct part. Hopefully the parts department will get it correct this time

This was the best service by a Sears contractor, Chris Nishihara, ever. He came, checked my TV, and explained what had to be done. He then took the TV to his shop, called me what he found, ordered the part, and let me know when it would be done. He called me when it was done and brought it back. The TV works perfectly. I wish all the Sears services would be like this. Thank you Chris Nishihara for lessening my stress!!!

I asked for my washer and dryer to be cleaned inside and behind them. The technician did not seem to know what was asked and price Sears quoted to me when I set up the appointment. The emails that Sears sent me were not the same as what I was quoted on the phone . The technician told me he would not pull the machine out to clean behind it. That was not his job. He was very polite and kind and prompt. He did a great job at checking the machines. End of the day, I paid more and did not get my objectives completed, cleaning the back and around the machines. I did not think the appointment was worth the time and money.

The magnet for my front loader was broken so the technician glued it with brown glue. Now it doesnt even function correctly plus its ugly. Instead of ordering a new part, he glued it. Really! I paid a lot of money for my Kenmore Elite and even I could have done a better job than he did. Shame on Sears. I will never purchase another washer or dryer from Sears because of my poor and sloppy service.

I verified my spin bike could be serviced before scheduling an appointment. The guy showed up, refused to open the cover to look at the bearings and the belt, told me he didn’t know what parts he needed or could get, or if he could even service my bike, then said it would cost $500-$600 to fix it. I said, “No thank you - I could get a new bike for that.” And then he charged me $129 instead of $99 since I didn’t schedule him to come back and fix it. When I told him I only wanted the $99 diagnostic fee, he said he had to charge me something extra because “That’s how the company gets you.” Don’t use Sears unless you want to throw your time and money down the drain.

I have had two techs come out to correct the icing and frost in the top portion of my freezer.The first one just sloppily caulked portions of the frame and since that didn’t work I had to take off work again for them to come and replace the freezer door gasket. That still didn’t work. I have to take off again for the third time this Friday.I also have to have another appointment the second time because the tech ordered the wrong part.

I believe the service repair personnel was Jon, been with Sears Appliance Repair for 8 months. Jon did the job of getting my Kenmore Elite refrigerator/freezer working again. Arrived at 9:15 am and departed at 1:30pm. But advised by both repair personnel, most likely to break down in a one to two years, this is due to Kenmore brand is made from LG. Please keep in mind this Kenmore Elite was purchased March 20, 2015. (2 years) and compressor & evaporator broke down.If I was advised at the time Kenmore Brand was made by LG, I would have NOT purchased a Kenmore Brand. I would have purchased a Whirlpool, GE or Frigidaire Refrigerator/freezer.Let me just say this, the two service repair personnel, one on June 30 and one on July 7 was great, courtesy & professional. I wish I could say the same for Sears in general and the CSR I spoke with on the phone from day one to setting up appointments for repair to submitting for loss of chill/frozen food. Which by the way, NO ONE has gotten back to me on approval. I was also advised I could rent a refrigerator but was told only for two days, (WOW! Get real look at the dates of the first service appointment!) I was also advised Sears would give $50 for ice.Sears has REALLY gone down hill and I can see why stores are closing nation wide! With social media & by word of mouth & I have check many website on line and ALL has given Kenmore products made by LG a very bad review.

Ive had over 8 trouble calls with this washer and still havent been fixed. The tech has diagnosed different problems, so I havent been able to qualify for the lemon policy. This last event, the part was arriving on the same day the tech was scheduled to return but they cancelled the appointment because the part hadnt arrived. So, the next appointment wasnt until a week later and the tech called sick which meant waiting another week to reschedule another tech! When the tech finally came 2 weeks after the original visit, he changed the part. My washer failed again the next day! Ive asked to speak to a mgr or have a supvr come look at the problem and was told that was not possible! Sears has lost money from all the problems, you would think they deemed this a lemon so we can both move on. Probably is the reason Sears is going out of business!!!! I will never buy again from Sears, they are not the same customer service driven company as before.

The technician arrived more than 4 hours after I received a text saying that he was on his way. No message or contact from Sears saying there was a delay. Sears should have contacted me to reschedule or explain that the technician was unexpectedly delayed. My appointment was from 10 am to 2 pm and the technician arrived at 6 pm.

My Kenmore stacked washer/dryer broke down the following week after being serviced. My washer/dryer has been serviced 3 times in the last 3 months and the lead times for repair service has been 2 weeks for my last 2 service repairs which is way too long in my opinion. If Im paying big bucks for the extended warranty, I expect a little faster service than waiting over 2 weeks which have cost me more money going to the nearest laundromat. Next time I would reconsider if the extended warranty is worth paying for.

The service technician was so nice and knew what he was doing but he forgot to make sure that my remote control was working before he left. Unfortunately, we were talking a little, while he was doing the repairs and we got sidetracked.I tried to get Sears to send him back to make sure the programmed remote control would work but Sears kept on insisting that I need to purchase a new remote. I have two cars, one a 2013 vehicle and I know it is not the remote. The programmed hand controlled remote only works a foot away from the door opener. I cannot open or close the door if any remote is more than a foot away from the door opener. I have paid over $2,400 for 5 years of service maintenance for a bunch of appliances from Sears and this is the kind of follow-up service I get? OMG!

No call to me, Property Manager, between the scheduled time frame of 1-5 p.m. on Thursday. When I called at 5:45 to follow up, I was told that the technician already finished the job. To-date, the dishwashers reported problem still exists.Hopefully, they call me tomorrow for the re-scheduled appointment between 10 and 2 p.m.
