Used to be an awesome place to wash your clothes—cheap prices, card readers, and some Jawaiian tunes on the radio to hum along to while you waited. They steadily increased the prices over a few months, disabled the card readers, and stopped playing music altogether. All the while more and more machines were marked “out of order.”I feel bad, it seems like this place is struggling to keep the lights on.

This is the cleanest and organized laundromat Ive ever been to. I was able to wash my clothes here several times already and I never experience damages to my clothes yet. The staff always greeted me when I come and then thank me when I go out. Whats really challenging here is the parking.

The prices are high and a few of machines were broken, but we did manage to get clean clothes!

Don’t waste ur time, they used to take CC but machines were faulty so they scratched that, only 1 of 2 large washers work(hasn’t been fixed in months) & some of regular washers out, dryers out/don’t heat hot enough(hasn’t been fixed).. Try the new laundry Matt in Palolo MUCH better

The pictures posted are deceiving. I was looking for an alternate laundromat since the one I used to use in Kapahulu is closed during lockdown. I went here because the pictures showed that you can use a credit card: you can’t they don’t work. The place is not clean and shiny like in the photos. Not all the washers work. My recommendation is to go elsewhere.

Clean and convenient!

I used this facility today and was shocked as I placed $3.75 into two washer machines and was not provided with a wash. Apparently the doors on the washer machine must be closed and then you must drop your change into the slot for credit. Ive been to many laundry facilities and this is ridiculous. Im sorry but the 1 tiny sign stating this sure policy isnt even noticeable. The facility is clean and it is easy to do your laundry and leave rather quickly.

$3.75 for a tiny wash, or $7.50 for a big one 😳 I think I’ll just do what my grandmother taught me. To be fair, this is the first laundromat I ever stepped into (and as quickly out of), so I don’t know if this is standard laundromat pricing.

Average priced, Equipment kept really clean.Pretty quiet, there was only one other person there besides me so I didnt have to wait for others, which I find to be a problem at any other laundromat in town.I went at night an hour before closing and was able to get all my laundry done. The owner even let me stay a little late so I could finish folding.Definitely one of the better places to do laundry on the island. Also of you go during the day, there are lots of places to kill time while you wait:)

Love this place. The machines are always in good repair and fairly inexpensive. The place is always clean. The owner comes in often to check on everything and is the sweetest thing!

We live in Canada but visit Honolulu regularly. Even though we stay in Waikiki and have closer options we have a ritual of driving up to Kaimuki every week to do our laundry.The place is spotless and the machines well kept. We even made a detour today while driving to the airport from Turtle Bay in order to do our wash before heading to Kauai.Thanks so much for running such a tight ship!

Very clean and comfortable laundromat. Triple load machine easily fits king size comforter. Coin machine takes $20 and all machines take credit cards. Cons- Parking on the street, several machines not working.

Been going here for four years. the equipment is much higher quality than other places in town, plus they accept card and have a coin machine. i appreciate that they are open on holidays too. seen them do pop-up discounts sometimes--like half off i think.

First thing, be prepared to bring cash since almost all card readers dont work. One of the machines ate up a full load of quarters and didnt work. Called help number multiple times, voicemail full, texted no response.

Clean facilities, literally the owner was cleaning as we arrived! Super friendly and helpful advice! Thank you for your help and friendly service! Highly recommended, and was worth the drive from our Resort!!

Awful, awful laundromat. It’s a tiny, shabby, filthy little dump blasting horrible music. It’s far too expensive for what it is. Worst is that about a third to half of the washers and dryers are not in service at any time, so good luck trying to get your laundry done. Oh, and the dryer shredded my shirt. I told the owner and she shrugged. Not so much as an apology. Go elsewhere!

Good location and not crowded

Close to home and well kept compared to the other places Ive seen and used, the owner is very friendly and helpful.I like having the choice of using a credit card when I dont have cash on hand or using coins.

Maintenance of washers/dryers/fascard payment systems is irregular or simply not happening. 3 washers & 5 dryers marked ‘No Service’ however at least 3 additional washers (not marked) will not take card payment. Frustrating & disappointing.

My home washer and dryer were recently damaged by heavy rain, and as a result I came to Kaimuki Laundromat because its close to my place off of Koko Head ave. I was a bit lost on what was the best/ cost efficient to wash and dry my clothes. Since It has been a while. Thats where I met Erica,(owner) when she saw my confused face, she asked if I needed help. Of course I was relieved to hear that. She proceeded to demonstrate the fastest most cost effective AND best way to have my clothes thoroughly washed and dried. She even reminded me to check dryer before I place my clothes in it, to ensure no one left anything that might damage my clothes. The service I received here was AMAZING and Ill deff be back here while my washer and dryer are out of commission. Thanks!!

Really good machines and service.

Washing $3.75 per load. Drying 25c for 4 mins. Everything is clean. Theres a change machine and you can pay with card also. Only street parking tho.

Clean and well kept but the place is super expensive!!!! $3.50 in comparison to $1.75 anywhere else. ...I walked out of here feeling like i got ripped off...and I needed to use the bathroom and no one around would let me use theirs so I had to drive to McDonalds to use it. Also this place has no parking. I would have been ok to pay $3.50 if I didnt have to park. Block away and the place had a bathroom but this place is good only if you live next door. I wont be returning here.
