I was sceptical because of the reviews but after going down to their shop and renting a moped (considered scooters where i live) i was pleasently surprised by their level of friendliness and customer service. Signed, paid, inspected and on the road in 5 minutes. I assume the older gentleman washing vehicles was the owner. He was cordial and friendly, same as the guy at the counter(his son maybe?) Their website is slightly deceiving with the rates. Said 21 a day and 150 cash deposit. Was actually 40 for 24hrs and 200 cash, respectively. The scooters are Chinese but in decent shape. Even at those rates i couldnt find any place cheaper. Its definitely worth it. Youre renting the bike for the fun, because believe me, having a clean and new looking scoot isnt going to turn heads here seeing as they are so common amoung the locals. I highly recommend this place and will most certainly rent again.
This was the most fun we had in Honolulu. They were friendly and told us all kinds of great money saving tips while were on our stay in Hawaii.
I called a week early to reserve two scooters for three days. I was told that no reservations were needed - just come over. Today they sold out before their posted business hours. Not cool.
Called to inquire about a rental as I have a friend in town and according to their website they start their moped rentals at $21.00. I called several times with an out of state cell phone number and they would never answer. I left a message as well and they never called back. I decided to call from my land line and wouldnt you know it they answered only to be rude and lie about their prices. Today they only rent scooters for $40.00 which is much higher if you look at the other dealers. Being a HAULE as commenter yogibearra 420 so stupidly called us, I find it disappointing that this is how we are treating guests to our island. Yes, I live here and I am a local! My suggestion is to go to Hawaiian Style rentals as they are professional and nice to visitors!
Dont be a dumb haole, show aloha and respect and the boys going hook you up
Ride past all the idiots whove rented Mustang convertibles to drive around a town with a 25 mph speed limit, as they desperately look for a parking spot. Park wherever you want. Theres no helmet law, so make sure your ball cap fits tight!
Very unfriendly... Also I assume because of my U.S. accent (I am European though) they tried to fool me. Scooter is 30usd a day, they only wanted to give it to me for 40usd. Also overpriced, one street down you can get a whole car at Alamo for 27usd a day.
Friendly affordable
Great rental
Good place
I got stuck before I even rented something. The completely smoked guy with wide eyes and who was struggling to speak shot a bit random prices, when I told him that the prices on the internet page were different he gave an implausible excuse and convinced me to leave.
Good service, a fun and economical option
