This place made me feel like I had been to the . Theres a young lady shes so lively and made the whole experience worth it. Both my toes and finger nails came out aaaaamazing!! Definitely worth the drive out !

Romeo is by far the most rude unprofessional person I’ve encounter in the nail business. If I could rate this place a zero, I would. I went in for a pedicure, full-set, and my mother’s pedicure. I told him this when I first walked in the door. After waiting for extended period of time my pedicure was finally done. I reminded the man who was doing my feet about my full-set.Romeo proceeds to say you have to tell us earlier so you can get them done. Multiple witness who’s been waiting like I was, attested that I mentioned this when I first walked through the door, including the young lady nails he was doing at that time.There were several complaints made to him on this visit. He’s rude, arrogant, and unprofessional as they come. I’ve had services from this shop multiple times and was always understanding and patient for their lack of professionalism, time-management skills, etc. This was the last time I would ever step foot back into that establishment.

I always have the best service. She is so quick and dies an amazing job every time and they can last for up to a month without lifting or chipping. Never had any problems with my nails.

Great place for my first time visit! Taylor helped me and he was awesome. I was undecided on colors and everything but he helped me out. Very talented. Only thing I can say is need to be more decisive on prices because it went up an extra $10 but didnt mind that because Taylor did stuff I never had done before . Very detailed with getting exact shape of nail and eveything .

Not bad wait time but male manicurist had gross dirty nails. Left white polish on my skin and had chip by the time I got home. Won’t be going back.

I have never been treated like an annoyance at a nail salon before. One of the male employees was rude to everyone who walked in and then was actually mean and completely unprofessional to a woman on the phone he had on speaker while making fun of her. The male employee doing my dip kept yelling at me and pulling my injured hand.. He drilled into my skin and cut my finger not to mention kept digging in his sharp nails into my hand. In the end I had to pay 250 for this horrific experience. If I could give negative stars that would be more accurate than the 1 star I had to leave to write this review.

Got there at 10:30am. Left at 1:00pm. 2.5 hours. I got a regular manicure. My daughter got a gel manicure. There were 2 pedicure workers and 2 manicure workers at 10:30. At 11 one more worker came. At 12 another worker came. At 12 is when my daughter was taken back. I was taken at 12:20. Many people were walking out. They need another 4 plus workers at least. I like the quality of work but 2.5 hours for regular nail manicure is too long. Only good thing was my daughter and I played math games

Rude! The wife is rude always has an attitude! Get your kid a baby sitter and maybe your life won’t be so miserable! Then they wanna say have your kids sit in the chairs! But yet you allow your kid to run around outside with any supervision and around the shop!!! Very unprofessional!!!!!

Got a gel manicure yesterday and my nail chipped this morning. I went back to have it fixed today and was asked what do you want me to do 🙄 The thumb is split all the way across and I can feel the split. He cut my thumb and filed it. I told him I wanted them even so he cut my other thumb and did the same. I said so your not going to do the rest of them? These are my real nails and it feels crazy when one is longer or shorter than the rest. It took forever yesterday but tbe experience was ok for the most part. However I will NOT come back here EVER again. Then the gel cracked again!!!

This use to be my go place. But its turned into a unprofessional & rude nail salon. The wait time is ridiculous. Then when you are seated they get up to do other things. Only two good nail techs here. Even if you make an appointment its a waste. Not respectful of your time. I now go to nails pro in schererville. Its perfect. No waits and professional techs.

Had the GREATEST pedicure Ive ever had. My pedi-guy immediately grabbed a towel for over my legs (I forgot I was wearing a dress when I stopped in) this may be a normal courtesy thing, but I thought it was very thoughtful and polite of him. He took his time, and did an amazing job with my toenails. Longest most relaxing pedi ever, definitely worth it!Gigi is the absolute best, Ive been coming here for years and will not let another soul touch my eyebrows. -trust me no one in NWI does better brows OR nails. She doesnt make them too thick and is always patient in doing whateverrrr you want. Im sure she was happy the last time I went, I asked for short acrylic nails & kept it simple lol. I love them & will actually be keeping up with these ones lol. Best shaping ever which is why I love her, I hate bulky nails and Im pretty sure she does too lol. My pic is about a week after getting them done so theyre not super fresh.

The tech was texting while doing my nails, after I specifically told them they were for my wedding. They are uneven. Not smooth and the color I wanted they just couldnt wrap their heads around. I wanted a white background with some silver glitter. I always tip well. 8 didnt this time. $50 and over an hour later this is what I have for my Sat wedding.

On a Monday this place is busy... because they do really really good work. Check em out but expect to wait.

This is my first and last visit! I cant believe i drove 30 mins out of my way to be disappointed!!!! Besides flys flying around everywhere and it being hot in there... I felt like it the guy with the tattoos was totally unprofessional!! He had no phone etiquette at all... He wreaked of sarcasm and people like me dont joke around with strangers like that let alone him... someone im patronizing! Secondly the polish was hella watered down it took 3 coats that now look like a bubble of a hot mess!!Thirdly ive been to multiple places and never once got charged an extra 5 dollars for them taking polish off a manicure...Let alone a 30 manicure which i dont mind paying at all so long as your menu states that which it didnt!!! My heels are still rough but felt bad for the older lady she looked whooped so i felt for her! Tipped her and went about my day! Never again-!!

After waiting 3 hours for Gigi and seeing multiple people walk out and Romeo be rude and argue with multiple customers, I was treated in the same manner. Romeo cursed at me and accused me of talking,$h!t because he had a disagreement with the woman next to me. I asked why he was talking to me like that and he said that if I did not like it I could go somewhere else. Well, I did just that, I grabbed my niece and we left. We made #5 to walk out and I will never go back again. My daughter and my sister will not be back either since they have seen this behavior and treatment of others while they were there from Romeo. He treats the employees the same as well. I would not recommend .

I loved my experience. GiGi was everything. Even though it was crowded, she didn’t make me feel like I waited long. She was amazing!!!! The whole staff seemed awesome. Music, laughs and fun!

Just moved to the Midwest and have been looking all over for a home nail salon, and finally found it at Star Nails. Ive gone twice so far and they are simply the BEST! Romeo did my nails this time and I hadnt even had them for 2 hours and received tons of compliments from my coworkers on them, he is the best!!

The people here are very friendly and helpful. Extremely happy with the service I got. The lady doing my nails gave me exactly what i wanted and didnt try to upsell me like some shops do. She paid very close attention to detail and didnt rush through. I love my nails and Im so glad I found this salon. They had a really good color selection, and they were very attentive and nice. Be sure to make an appointment before coming in after work as its a popular place. Its well run and all the staff are very nice.

Idek why I went back a second time. The first time I sat there for 7 hours... yes 7. Just waiting for the first 2 then the rest just them simply FORGETTING about me a after having me sit to dry my nails. Second time I go my nails start to chip after paying for a no chip manicure. I call and she says she can’t help me because it’s been 3 days. Will never go back again

Never again. My gel manicure chipped after 3 days, almost all of my nails. I was met with attitude from the owner Im guessing and she tried to give me some bs excuse. Lifting as well but she said it was because my nails were long and I had to have bumped them. Honey, Ive had long coffin shaped nails for about six years and never experienced this. She finally broke down and had the girl that did my nails redo them (btw she is a sweetheart). Here I am two days after getting them fixed and they are chipping again. Take your money somewhere else. The owners attitude was enough for me. 👌🏾

Based on reviews and reference photos, I was really looking forward to getting my nails done here. Came in Tuesday for a full acrylic mani. Had an appointment for 4 and had to wait an hour to be seen. Im not going to name the employee publicly cuz I dont want to be petty.. but she filed both of my thumb nails and left middle finger down on the sides so badly that after 2 days they still hurt. Absolutely raw and painful. Ive never experienced anything like this in any other salon before. Really let me down. I thought I found my place and I will never come back here

Star nails is my favorite place to get a pedicure and manicure. The stylists are always friendly and the service is always exceptional. No need to make an appointment during the week its usually only a five to ten minute wait. Make sure you come and get all your nail and waxing needs taken care of.

I recently tried a new nail tech and hated the way she shaped my nails! They were so uneven and rushed. So I came to Gigi and she did amazing on my shape and took her time! I will always recommend Gigi!

If I could give no stars I would. We had an appointment at 11am. Chairs were full except 2 at the end for us. We were seated and started soaking at 11:05 am. At 11:50 am, 2 other customers walked in the door, started soaking, and were attended to while we sat soaking in now cold water. We decided to leave at 12:20pm. We never received an apology. Upon returning to discuss what took place, a male worker lied and said we werent there, a female worker said we only waited 25 minutes. Another worker said she remembered us and we were there almost 2 hours. Basically, the first 2 workers called us liars! We will not be going back.

The place was clean and the nails and eyebrows were done well. However my mom left her debit card there and called to get it. She then showed them her ID but they said she would need to wait 24 hours? Why would she need to wait 24 hours? They then said they needed to check if it worked even though she bought a Pedicure from them proving it worked. The card hasnt been used in two days(when my mom got the pedicure). Why would the card suddenly stop working so my had to threaten to call the police before they gave her the card. Do not trust them!

I called ahead of time to make an appointment. I asked if 12:30pm would be okay for today, Saturday, August 29th. The lady told me yes, we will see you then. Took my info. I got there at exactly 12:30pm, waited 35 minutes before walking out. I specifically made an appointment because I have another appointment at 2:30pm and wanted to make sure I had my nails done. But no. If they were swamped or had other appointments for 12:30pm, they should have told me over the phone so I could have found another place to go to. I will never suggest them again.

Rude, rude, rude!!! 1 and done! Never again! I wasnt the only upset customer in there! And within a week they were coming up at the cuticle with dipping product used. And if dip is what you use, you choose from the actual powder containers (no fake painted nails for a reference or anything!) and the color is always different when applied, duh! All around HORRIBLE experience!

I have been going to this salon for many years now and as of recently I have received some very horrible service specifically from Romeo. He has been very rude and completely unprofessional. I called and asked to speak with Gigi and he hung up on me twice. I absolutely love the way Gigi does my nails but this is just not okay so I will no longer being going back to this salon.

Had to have them re-do a nail because it was super crooked. A few others were crooked too but not as bad as the one. Then as she was filing my nails she made one bleed. Not just a little bit but a lot. She put something on it to stop the bleeding but did not apologize at all. She even filed over it again after the fact. After all the polish was done she sprayed some stuff on my hands and didnt bother to pass up the cut she made, so it burned. I shouldnt have to say anything, common sense. When I went to pay I figured they would of gave me a few bucks off or something, but nothing. Full price. I still tipped because Im not a rude person but they will never receive my business again and I will make sure to tell my friends not to go there if they ask. Super dis pleased.
