I loved my first experience here! I saw Tracy who was so kind and accommodating. I made an appointment for 3pm and she took me right at 3. She helped me pick out a color and gave suggestions as well. I didnt love my nail shape from the last place that I went so I told her what I wanted to adjust and she did just that. I love the way my nails came out! Thank you Tracy!!!! :)

Great pedicure! And Im a guy. The hot stone foot/leg message was especially incredible.I told my wife she can take me out for a pedi anytime!

This review is being made on behalf of my mom who went to this salon a week ago and had such a great experience that she insisted I write this review for her!My mom was running late for her appointment due to traffic and didn’t even get there until the salon was closing. My mom tried to cancel as she felt really bad about being so late, but Summer and Ojalla were so accommodating and stayed late to do her manicure and pedicure. They helped her pic out colors and choose a nail shape that was flattering for her hands she didn’t feel rushed at all and she was grateful to be able to get pampered before an important event. She will definitely be back as a return customer!

I came here last minute for a pedicure and was so impressed by everything from appointment making to finished product. They responded to my request for an appointment before they even opened within ten minutes of message sent. I got the spa pedicure and it was amazing. The guy (apologies I don’t recall his name, I’m terrible with names) took such great care with everything he did. It was relaxing, totally enjoyable, excellent value, and my toes looked great! I will definitely be back and will highly recommend :)

Summer the owner is amazing! I called as I was driving by and was able to get an immediate walk in appointment. The salon is bright and clean, and they go above and beyond taking care of your nails. I got a regular manicure and it looks like gel. See you again soon Summer!

Once I went to The Gloss Bar I haven’t gone elsewhere! The service is amazing and the quality is unlike any other nail salon I have been to. My gel manicure is on its third week and it’s never looked better. I even moved from Quincy to Cambridge and will make the drive for this kind of quality! Love The Gloss Bar!!

First off: my nails turned out great! At some points a little thin on the bridge, but overall they look nice and the gel manicure on top is very cute and amazing! The place was well lit, clean, and had a great atmosphere. The workers were all super friendly, and I even received a Student Discount which was pleasantly surprising!!However, where the points are lost is in the cleanliness of the tools. Multiple things made me feel off. First was the use of a (clearly used) emory board on my nails. I don’t know if it was sanitised, i hope it was, but it had obviously been used. Same for the clippers. I didn’t see a sanitary bucket or products anywhere, so I’m just hoping they were out of my sight. Would have been nice to know that, in this environment, I wasn’t having tools used on me that had been used on someone else.Next was the unmarked acrylic powder container and the obviously shared polymer liquid used to apply the acrylic. No individual dip pots that can be cleaned? Just one shared polymer liquid pot? I’ve also been weary of acrylic powders ever since I learnt that there are some out there that aren’t safe to use. Would have been nice to look up the brand of the acrylic powder being used.I should have done research before I went here. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back for acrylic extensions anymore.TL;DR Great nails, clean salon, amazing atmosphere and workers. However, tool sanitation was very poor.

Summer the owner is just wonderful and very accommodating. She explained in detail all of the covid precautions theyre taking. Summer made me feel very safe about coming to her nail salon. Each station is equipped with its own ventilation system. Cleaned and sanitized between each client. Plexiglass between you and any tech at ALL times. Sanitizing and masks stations throughout the salon. Lastly, they only allow a maximum of 6 clients in at a time.The salon its self is beautifully designed. Clean and spacious. The ceilings are 20 feet tall.Honestly, it was the best dip manicure and pedicure Ive ever had. Each tech is just lovely and take their time.Highly recommend !

Tai was my technician and he was AMAZING! Did the best dip manicure I’ve ever received. Would recommend 100% and Summer, the owner, is so sweet. The place itself, is immaculate!
