Because of a lightning strike very close to our place the AC went out. We needed a new circuit board due to the damage done by the lightning. Since UPS didnt pick up the unit in Beaufort as expected the day it was ordered, the next morning the technician from Grays drove out to pick it up and then immediately came to our place to install it. We were so happy with the efforts made on our behalf. Grays went out of there way to ensure that we had our AC unit running well just as soon as possible. We couldnt be more appreciative of their very speedy and professional level of service!

During the recent hurricane evacuation, on Thursday, our AC went out. Call Grays but they were concerned they might not be able to find someone to look at our problem. I got a call back in a half hour and advised a technician would be coming. An hour later, he was at my door. A half hour later the unit was FIXED and running well. This is my third condo that Grays has done an install for me. They always complete the work when promised at the price quoted. Very professional and knowledgeable. My only complaint is their cleanliness when handling the old equipment around by freshly painted walls. Otherwise, GREAT SERVICE

A few years back, we received a quote from Grays to have two new heat pumps installed. They did the work to swap out our old units and had been back for basic maintenance. Then two months our home was struck by lightning. Both of the new heat pumps were completely fried. Grays responded to this emergency immediately and worked non-stop for several days to get our units back on line. After 4 days of work (where we had roofing work, electrical work, etc., done, our A/C was not yet back on line.) Our house was 96F inside and Grays was completely committed to getting the house operational. They worked until after 6 p.m. to get us some A/C and had to come back the next day for additional work.The net is this: I trust them to do a great job and I KNOW that when we have an emergency, they WILL respond and treat my home and my familys need as if it were their own.GREAT JOB & GREAT COMPANY!

Very satisfied with the service from Gray’s. We had a problem with our air conditioning unit and called Gray’s on a Friday at midday. A service tech was there within an hour. He helped get the old unit up and running to help us try to get through the weekend while we dealt with the office on a quote for a replacement unit. By 5:00 that evening we finalized a quote for a new unit and scheduled installation for the following Monday. The installation went off without a hitch. We are very impressed with the service and would highly recommend.

I found Grays Heating & A/C extremely easy to work with. The technician was on-time to perform seasonal maintenance. He took the time to explain what he found (weak dual run capacitor on heat pump and run capacitor on the blower motor). I had him replace both. He then showed me on his gauge proof of why he suggested replacement. Very fair pricing for the repair. Excellent office customer service as well.

2020 - Once again just an amazing job. We moved and needed to replace another AC unit and only called one company. The quality of service and professional from the top to the bottom is just outstanding. The technicians not only replaced everything they even vacuumed and cleaned around the outside uint. The new unit duct work connecting and adding a drain pain looks like the took the time on the little things. Thanks again for great work it was noticed.2018 - I just wanted to say thank you to the owner and staff. After several appointments with multiple companies, we finally ended here. Why you may ask. One they listened to our concern. When we told the owner of our price and what we could afford there was no big push to upscale or pressure. Last the technicians that came out were spectacular not only were they able to remove our 30 years old system the house now feels fantastic. We just wanted to say thank you for excellent customer service and efficient install. Here is to the next ten years of exceptional care I am sure of.

Grays has been instrumental in keeping our rental unit running this summer. We have been a Grays customer for 3 years. A Friday evening storm caused our heat pump to quit. Called 24/7 service at 8:45 PM. Received a call back 10 minutes later. 2 other emergencies ahead of us. Excellent customer service! My heat pump started making an awful noise on a Saturday afternoon. I immediately contact Grays; I received a call from the on-call technician within 15 minutes and he was at my home to evaluate the issue within an hour. The bad news was that the very dated heat pump needed to be replaced. The good news -- Grays scheduled me for 8:00 the next business day. The technicians arrived on time and completed the work as planned. I couldnt have asked for a better experience.

I do wish they would let me know when a part is in to schedule appointment rather than me having to contact them to ask if part is in. once part is in they are very responsive about scheduling as early as possible.recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Grays is very responsive and put in a new system for us in one day, after our old system died in the heat of the summer. They returned immediately when there was an issue with the thermostat connection to the new system. And their service maintenance calls have been easily scheduled and very smooth.

I called Grays with an urgent need after my regular HVAC company let me down totally. Being a vacation rental landlord, you have to have reliable service providers that are ready to respond very quickly. Grays did just that! They won my future business.

Called for a quote on 2 units after my now old AC company said the units were done and gave me a quote on new ones.They came out and inspected both, said they were in good condition, fixed a breaker that was only getting one leg of power and a capacitor.They think I can get 2-3 more years out of the units.They now have my service contract and when these stop working they will install my new units.

We had what appeared to be a serious problem with an AC unit in the hottest part of the month. Our regular service company failed to respond despite several tries. We elected to give Grays a try because they indicated that they serviced our type of unit. They showed up when they said they would, checked it out, and fixed the unit. Turned out to be a relatively minor problem but it was enough to keep the unit from functioning. You cannot ask for better service than that. Wish all companies operated the same way.

We had a new system installed at a rental property. Because of the renters the settings on the systems were set to the extreme.
