Hands down the best place I’ve ever had my hair cut. And I am extremely picky.

Ive gone here several times after trying to find a new barber. They have done an exceptional job every time. Great cuts, good conversations, and 20 bucks every time. Cant beat the price for the results.

My haircut is very basic and easy but I have confidence these guys could do many different styles of cuts. Barbers are always very nice and you can have good conversation with them. Definitely recommend, support small business!!

First time here! Their prices are on par other parlors ($20 for hair, $10 for beard). I got both done and both came out killer. Nice guys here as well, very friendly and good conversations. Cash only just so you know. I didnt realize this and had to run home quick after the cut. They probably thought i wasnt coming back hahaha. Highly recommend this place!

Quick and quality cuts that has me coming back.FYI, this shop is cash-only (ATM across the street) and doesn’t take appointments.Love the calm pace of the shop, which has had two chairs going each time I have been there. The two barbers don’t seem to be in a hurry but are still focused on getting your hair cut efficiently. Conversation is jovial, if you even want to talk. I usually prefer to just listen to the other conversation, and they have not prodded me with questions.After comparing my overall experience to the other shops around, it was quite obvious it made sense to come back. They have comparable cost to express style haircut shops like Great Clips or Sports Clips. On top of that, Barker’s is faster and better quality.Location is right in the middle of downtown old Hilliard, which each decent street parking available. The inside of the shop is welcoming, exactly what I expected from an established barbershop. Several seats to sit in if you have to wait, and great pictures of old Hilliard through the years. It was refreshing to see that they didn’t try too hard to make it feel like a complete experience.If you are looking for a straight-forward approach to getting your hair, worth giving Barker’s a try.

I took my kids to Barkers Barber Shop yesterday and realized that it was cash only. After my boys and I sat there for over an hour I figured this out. I didn’t want to walk out so found just enough cash for one kids cut.It was our turn to get up for a cut and this super sweet gentlemen payed for both of my boys haircuts. I was in shock and never expected anyone to help me out.Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!! You made my day and our families!!! I brought my 3 year old son in for a walk-in cut at 5:30 tonight. My husband has taken our 3 year old many times, but I had never been inside. We were happily greeted by 2 barbers. They offered to cut my 1 year old sons hair as well. They were so great with my little guys! No more bad cuts at the chain store down the street!!! 🤗

Love this place. One of the last true barbershops. $15.00 for a real haircut with a straight razor neck shave is well worth it. The barbers are great with kids also.

I went to a typical haircut chain, and they didnt quite get the cut right. I found Barkers in Old Hilliard. I quickly explained what I thought was wrong, and Julius sat me down and fixed it perfectly 👍 I also have very sensitive skin. He used the straight razor on my neck, and my skin didnt even get red at all. Go here for your next cut. You WONT be disappointed.

Nice people but did an awful job of cutting my hair. Asked him to leave enough on the top to come over and he literally left the front inch of my hair right above my eyebrows longer than everything behind it. Visibly longer. Not happy. Won’t be getting a cut here again

Allow me to update this review: I went for a cut here approximately 2 years ago. Since then, I’ve spent hundreds of dollars and countless hours visiting a dermatologist who said the folliculitis I contracted while getting my hair cut here is CHRONIC and cannot be cured. Now I find out that my daughter, who bathes in the same tub I shower in, has also contracted folliculitis. All because you couldn’t take 30 seconds to clean your clippers. You suck.

The experience was not the best but they were polite but the sides were uneven and he forgot to cut the sides

I decided to try this establsiment after living in Hilliard for more than 15 years in order to support locally-owned businesses. I was disappointed when my barber Julius found it necessary to denigrate the competition (Sportsclips) where I had had years of good service. While I was happy with my first haircut, my second visit was less successful, with an uneven cut which looked very bad within a couple of weeks. As such, I returned to Sportsclips where Jessica took her time and I walked out looking and feeling much better. For an extra $6, I received a scissors cut, wash, style and an all-around better experience.
