I had a mishap in an automatic car wash with the metal rails on the ground. Both passenger side wheels took damage and I was super distraught as I had kept them perfect for 3 years.Looked up Wheel repair in the Chicago area and didnt care where it was located, I simply wanted the best, at a place that took the tire off and knew what they were doing.Francisco responded to my email on a Sunday(!) with a quote of $185/wheel to repair and I made an appointment. He maintained perfect communication via email and when I picked the car up the wheels looked immaculate, and probably better than how Tesla finished them.Best of all, since I only had paint damage and no metal damage, I only was charged $125/wheel. Francisco could have charged me the quoted amount and I still would be leaving a glowing review. Completely recommend Chicago Wheel Repair!Im not posting after pics because its not necessary. Look at a new wheel on tesla.com, it looks like that.

These guys are great. I brought my truck in with 33 inch tires. Told them it would shake 45mph and up. They road force balanced my tires (other places tried to balance it but failed) and now its smooth as silk..thanks guys! Highly recommend!!!!

Rough G37 anniversary wheels, I came in and talked to Francisco and his partner behind the counter, they agreed to the job which I was happy with too because of the amount of work they were agreeing too. Many places don’t fix wheels, only blast then powder coat. They fixed the dents and trued each wheel so they balance great. The hyper silver finish is totally worth it, it looks gorgeous!

Ryan did a great job on my wheels, which had seen better days. He removed the old finish, straightened two that Chicago potholes had taken care of, and did a wonderful job with the Smoke Bronze powder. Its been a year and no issues at all with the finish, its been durable and held up well.

Francisco answered my email right away with a quote. He also answered all of my questions. Luis did a great job with the touch-up too. Looks like new! They finished it in about 4 hours.

Francisco was very up front and honest with me when I brought in one of my savani rims that had a bit of rash That I was hoping could be fixed. Unfortunately he explained it would be dangerous to try to fix because it was aluminum. He could have easily have said yes and charged me for trying. Instead I learned from him I was set up with tires that were not wide enough for my rims. I was 3 hours late for my appointment to put the correct size tires on and balanced on all 4 rims but he still got it done and I couldn’t be happier with how they look now, part of the rashes on the rim i curbed was even covered up! He was even nice enough to store the removed tires over the weekend for me because I didn’t have space in the Jeep as I drove 45 min to get there and he was closing for the day. Can’t wait until winter is over so I can put them on and have the piece of mind when pulling the boat I have the probably the best tires for my rim size underneath me! Fransisco and his team were absolutely fantastic! My husband wanted a gold color and even though they didnt have to they went out of there way to find it and order that color. Took a few weeks to get accomplished, but good things take time!! They look really nice and in the color we wanted. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good color job for good money!

I am very pleased with the work preformed by this business. I had my Tesla slipstream wheels PVD coated. After two months the wheels still look great. The work was completed ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend this business.

They did a great job Refurbishing some Old School Vector Hurricane Wheel I gave them to do. They are THE DUKES OF HAZZARD RIMS That the Dukes Charger had but 15x10s for back & 15x8s in the front they look like they came straight from the Factory. Im putting them on A 1976 Dodge Van Im building. I will definitely keep doing business with them.

I had powder coating done on my 2015 Audi S5. All I can say is WOW!! You should see their work. My wheels look better than factory and the finish is very high quality. It took three days but oh boy was it worth the wait. The car looks absolutely gorgeous now. The customer service was great too. I did a lot of research online and I drove 60 miles there to get my rims done but I have absolutely no regrets. I would highly recommend these guys if you need rim repair or powder coating done. My rim was gouged in multiple spots by a tire center. I shipped the rim to Chicago rim repair and they had to grind out and weld the gouges. I then had the rim shipped back and the repair was done very well it looks great! Very satisfied since this rim is not made anymore and from Germany and cannot be replaced!

I took my Porsche Boxster S rims for refinishing after another shop did a horrible job trying to refinish them multiple times. Im 95% satisfied with the job that was done on my wheels and friendly staff delivered very much what was promised.I would recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for high quality job done on their wheels.

The best wheel repair shop in the Chicago area for sure. My 2003 Audi Allroad 2.7T looked really great. Paint was close to perfect... However, the wheels had started peeling and they just didnt look right... I called Wheel Tech and they said come in and theyll take a look at it. They said it was something they handle all the time and that the wheels will come out looking like new... and boy were they right!!... they DID come out looking just like factory new. Now the car looks brand new again! I highly recommend anyone who has a German, European or other high end car (with expensive stock wheels) to get their wheels fixed at Wheel Tech. Thanks guys!

Hit a monster pothole in Chicago. The dealer said it would be $650 for a new rim and if I have someone pound it out it will never ride the same again. Looked at the good reviews of this place and decided to give refurbishing the rim a shot.Took the rim in and a few hours later got a phone call saying it was ready. Picked it up and the car rides like new at a 1/4 of the price of a replacement. The staff was friendly and helpful, a great place to do buisness with.

I have an Audi Q7 S Line with OEM 21 wheels with lots of curb rash. I had Wheel Tech repair the curb damage as well as powder coat the rims into a nice gun metal like (Anthracite) color. It took me a while to decide what color to have them powder coated but they worked with me and showed me many different examples. I must say I love my rims more then ever now! They look flawless, cant even tell there was curb damage. The powder coat Anthracite is gorgeous. Wheels/tires were mounted and balanced again. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to repair damaged rims or re-color their wheels for a different look.

Purchased a used Range Rover for the wife with curb rashed and pitted chrome rims. Ryan and the guys at Wheel Tech were fantastic. They repaired all of the curb rash and powder coated the rims in satin black. The finished product looks outstanding and the Rover looks menacing. Great work, excellent service, knowledgeable staff. Ill likely have my F150 alloys refinished in the near future at Wheel Tech.

Dropped my bent wheels and within 24 hours they were done, installed on the car no more stearing wheel shake, but what impresses me the most is that I dropped 2 wheels thinking both are bent, and they could have easily charged me for both but they are an honest place and told me just one was bent so they roadforce balance the wheels and fix the other, I will take my stuff there anytime I will have issues and will recommend and share the good experience I had with them 🤙👍👍👍

I have taken my business to Wheel-Tech a few times now and am so incredibly happy that this shop exists! They have fixed pretty bad curb rash on a rare and expensive set of Volk GT30 Wheels for me perfectly and recently were able to help me fix a mistake on a custom set of SSR wheels that another shop made in mounting tires that did not fit. Two other specialized shops were unable to perform this work and Wheel-Tech not only were able, but also saved the tires and me a lot of money in the process. I went today to pick up my 2 Bmw M rims that they where bend and i left them to get fix.I told the guy I want to spin them on the machine so i can see if they are fixed (a simple thing) and he got mad about how i can request something like that.He told me first let figure out payment and then we can do that.When i saw on the paper that the price was different from the website and from what he told me at the beginning and i ask them why is different he went ballistic...he started yelling at me that we are not negotiating,that where im coming from with this things (im not American i have an accent)that I cant take my wheels until i pay that amount,and then he went in the shop and told the other guy that I dont want to pay...(i just asked a simple question,I think i have the right to ask)..This in not the way u talk to your clients and I think he has a serious mental problem.I want them also installed on the car he told me that is extra when clearly on theyre website says the price include the cost of mounting, dismounting, and Hunter Road Force Balancing the rim after we straighten it.At this moment i just wanted to leave i told him that Im going to pay and that im taking my rims to a different shop to get them installed because I dont want to deal with them anymore.So if u want to get treated like a piece of s.... go to this place.Never in my 5 years in America i was treated like this...i I dont know how good they fixed the rims i just left mad as hell.Stay away from this place!!!

First of all,I walked in nobody a knowledge I was there.After 15 min of waiting an older guy approached me.I had a crack on my rim about 1 inch long.The guy was not even interested, gave me a higher price then advertised on website.Plus the shop looks like wasnt cleaned in decades .
