We have used Universal HVAC for our annual maintenance on our heating and air conditioning. When it was time to replace our very old A/C, we had no hesitation in contacting them. The price was very competitive and the work was done well and cleanly.

The company installed our new AC in 2017 and everything went well. They even came for maintenance later on and it went smoothly, too. Now we are having issues with the compressor, which they are supposed to cover by the warranty we paid . We contacted the number that shows on their website. Today it has been 6 days that we have been contacting them to come and fix it, and they keep saying they will do, but they havent. We have been calling them since last Wednesday. On Saturday, one person came and identified the issue. He said he could not fix it, and would send someone on Monday. Since then, we have spoken to more than 7 different people already, every day they say they would send the technicians, they give us the time they will supposedly come, and they just dont. This is the most disrespectful, unprofessional service I have ever received . I cannot even turn on the AC because, according to the person that came on Saturday, we had to turn it off. I have a school-age kid that has been living in this heat the last few days because of how unprofessional this company is. Finally, 2 technicians today came after so many complaints and now the issue is not the same the first guy said. Again, we have to wait and see if they have the part they need at the warehouse. More and more wait!!Finally, they fixed the problem after all these days I do want to say the technicians were very good and fast, but they had never been notified of the issue all this time. So, obviously it tis the management that is not working for this company. Whatever changes they have made at the company recently, its ruining the companys reputation.

I had a horrible experience with this company. I was initially told the A/C tech was going to arrive between 9am and 11am. After many delays without calls from them to let me know the reason for the delay, someone showed up at 7pm. The tech told me that he was going to check if the exterior unit was under warranty, but that he could give me a better price than the company. I asked him for the A/C serial number for me to verify for myself if the A/C unit was under warranty. He then proceeded to tell me he did not like my tone, told me a series of lies, and eventually admitted he did not get the number to verify if the equipment was still under warranty. He was probably planning to tell me that he had checked and it was not under warranty... just to make an extra buck... The service I received from this company was unprofessional in every way and I will not call them again.

Universal HVAC has top notch customer service. A very helpful lady named Nikita answers the phone, not just a machine. Phone calls and questions are handled efficiently and professionally.Their technical manager gets high marks as well. He explained how my broken fan motor was still under warranty and provided an accurate time frame to do the repair.They do conscientious work, taking care to look out for the customer. Im very happy recommending their services.

I agree 110% w Gustavo.We had a brand new HVAC system installed and have had nothing but, problems w the unit.We have called the office and the owner and No one ever calls back.We’ve tried everything to get support. The unit keeps shutting off, lights blinking and am so frustrated that I’m ready to call the BBB and or take them to court.The unit was hooked up to my spa fuse. They kept saying they would fix it but, to this day it’s still unchanged.Since I’m financing this system I’ll call the bank and see what my options are. I’m not going to keep paying for a system that doesn’t work or to a company that refuses to have the common courtesy to return a call.A honest company doesn’t treat their customers like this. Jmho

Ive been a customer for several years now and I have nothing but praise. They run the company as if its a small, mom and shop place. When its time to do maintenance, Ill always get a call from the same person to remind me its coming up and will help find a spot on their schedule. When the maintenance person shows up, its been the same two for the past 4 years. In other words, when you deal with this company, they work hard to earn your trust with one-to-one relationships that will never make you feel like youre just being sent anyone they can find to do the work. To me, dealing with a company that values building that trust is important. I get frustrated when many of these other service companies that send you just whoever is available and its always a different person your dealing with.
