BEWARE OF QUAMEC, THEY LIE!!! Quamec installed my Rheem AC 2 years ago. I called for service and after checking the problem, I was told it would take $450 to fix it. When I asked if the part was covered by the 10yr warranty, I was told by Quamec that it was not. I knew the capacitor would not cost that much to fix. I asked the tech to leave and called somebody else. Well, the part IS covered by warranty and it cost me less than 25% of what tbey wanted to charge. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. THEY LIE TO OVERCHARGE YOU!!! By the way, the technician was very professional and in no way this reflecs on him.

Be careful with company! I was looking to purchase a new ac system and the rep came to my house and gave a decent quote. I told them I would call them back after I got a few more quotes. Well I thought i better get my air ducts cleaned as I get a new ac. When I called the rep about this cleaning he definitely confirmed I should have them cleaned. He said they normally charge 50.00 a duct but he would give me a deal for $15.00 each. I have 12 ducts that needed to be cleaned. I then decided to research duct cleaning and low and behold I went on Quamec website and guess what in huge letters on the main page it says FREE DUCT CLEANING WHEN YOU PURCHASE A NEW AC SYSTEM FROM THEM It looks they were trying to scam me for more money or at least the rep was. In any case I lost all confidence in a company that tries to cheat potential customers. You better train your sales reps to read their on website or get better at cheating and scamming potential customers. Do not be fooled by the number of good reviews posted I almost fell for it.You have been warned....BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY OR BETTER YET STAY AWAY FROM THEM

Techs were very professional and very efficient. Explained the whole process and repair. Im just not happy with the name brand Amana. The repair was for the dryer which is located outside unit. The part rusted and leaked freon. This a top of the line 4 year old unit and I live in Florida, this shouldnt happen, atleast not so soon. Quamec was great, the Amana unit is not. I called Amana and explained to them, but they said thats what it is.

I have a maintenance contract with this company. I was impressed that I emailed them on Sunday evening and got a call on Monday morning to schedule the service. We set it up for the next day . If the system could be fixed without needing to order any parts, it would then be flushed out. The repairman called out to me after being here for about 45 minutes. I asked him if he had figured out what was wrong with the system. He said yes Ill be back soon but I have to leave. I repeated my question and he said yes it is working now but I have to go now but I will come back. He raced out leaving me wondering wondering whether he was going for a part or just taking a lunch break before coming back to flush down the unit. After 2 hours I called the company to ask what was going on. The accommodating receptionist said she would get in touch with the technician and call me back which she did. She said that the tech had changed a faulty fuse and was not coming back. When he told me he would he had to check to see if he needed to charge me but since I have a 10-year prepaid contract he did not have to charge and so he was not planning on returning. I asked about the fact that he did not flush out my system which was to be done annually and was supposed to have been done that day. Due to the virus I had been delaying having the maintenance work done and I was at least 6 months past due I knew. She said he did not say it needed to be done. I insisted and we now have it scheduled. There is no excuse for the workmans lack of communication with me and him not doing the complete job. He did not attempt to communicate with me and I do speak Spanish but he did not even try to talk to me except to stress he would return. I had pets locked up during his visit which I had told him and they remained so for hours afterwards which was unnecessary. I had prepaid for a maintenance service which he had not planned on providing.I first gave two stars because of above. I insisted that someone come again to flush the system, annual maintenance. Oswaldo was sent and was wonderful. He did lots and showed me a photo of a huge amount of garbage that he had flushed out of my system. I called company and asked that he be sent next year. I asked that the guy from last week never be sent to my house.

They charged $ 785 to replace a blower that didnt need to be replaced and I only spent $ 0.98 to repair it myself.$ 135 for the visit (which is not deducted if you authorize the service) plus $ 650 to replace the blower ... I told the technician that the blower was fine and all needed was to replace a small plastic hose of approximately 5 inches.Wow, it didnt work ... $ 785 was the price and obviously I didnt authorize it.I paid them the $ 135 for the visit and went to ACE Hardware to buy the hose which cost $ 0.98.Congratulations for the excellent service Quamec !!!I thought I would be a customer, but I was just a victim.I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

QUAMEC came to my home and repaired the bad work done by another company in a timely and professional matter. The technicians took care of an issue we did not know we had with our drain lines. My unit is working better than ever and I could not be any happier with the job. I recommend Quamec with my eyes closed. The professionalism, knowledge and attention was outstanding and as expected. Salesman Very professional, called and texted every step of the estimates. Quoted 3 different brands and knowledgeable on each of them. Installation was straightforward. Installers wore mask thru out, very respectful, cleaned up completely. Just a great stress free process.

Had nothing but problems with this air condition since I had it. Every time I turn on the heat theres a problem. Cant find filters that fit.

Everyone was very professional and did quality work. My unit was installed quickly, on time, and there were no hidden costs. My job required some custom grill work which took some time, but was installed correctly. My unit is now working perfectly and I’m very pleased that I chose Quamec Air Conditioning.

Honestly, I am beyond extremely disappointed with the company. We purchased a new AC unit from Quamec in June of 2019 everything was going good they came and did the work quickly. Then it was time to inspect the quality of the work. We FAILED our inspection 3 times. Not once not twice but 3 times. They stuffed cardboard in the outside ducting and then spray foamed around it. They were supposed cork all the duct work which they never did. They left a whole in my house into my attic for animals and insects to get into. How they fixed this hole was to cover it with some spray foam and a plastic bag. They would show up at my house with no notice to do work on my AC because of there mistakes. They would call and tell us that the next day the inspector was coming. My husband and I both work so this was not ok. When we asked the inspector he said that the company was completely lying and that they receive over a weeks notice that the inspector is coming to the house. If you call you get the run a round about everything. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I had an air conditioner and two dampers installed over a year ago. The dampers have never worked properly and the unit needed Freon for no apparent reason. I had a technician....the only one who spoke good English...working on my unit. The last trip he ordered a new damper and was going to make modifications. I now find out he is on longer with the company and. I am in limbo.I would have have given this company a one star except for the fact that they are responsive to phone calls. However, they are ill prepared to do service work that might be out of the ordinary and by doing that they leave customers ya ting.You pay out good money and expect a new unit to work like a new unit. I am currently waiting for someone else to call me back from the company. I would certainly think twice before hiring Quamec.

Your techs were straight-forward and polite. But Im perplexed regarding the $135 charge vs. an estimate for replacing our unit on the west of the house. I understood when I set the appointment that if I were to buy certain parts, etc., the $135 would be dropped. I have yet to hear of an estimate.

Everything is explained clearly up front; no guessing game. We had our entire a/c system replaced, and their technicians Alexy and Jose were unreal. Extremely courteous, and in spite of the extreme heat in the home during the installation, they continually tried to make us feel comfortable and kept us appraised of everything during the installation. These guys are the best. Great service, excellent price (way better than the other quotes I got), they installed my new AC next day, a great team came and they left everything spotless. I ran into a problem a week after the installation and they came and fix it under the warranty without charging me anything, even considering the problem wasnt clearly their fault. Be very careful with this company!I paid 28,000.00 usd and get 8 new big Amana Ac units from quamec corp. When they sold this units they said there is warranty for 10 years and lifetime for exterior units. Just after a year I start using their units problems start they ask 360 usd for a part under warranty. I check the part is just 24 usd. If you don’t pay for the amount that they are asking you are with out an ac under the sun of florida. I contact with Amana they said the part is under warranty so I understand that they are trying to charge you for a part under warranty. They made me pay for it and just after 4 weeks an other new ac not worked i called them many times they didn’t answer I send them e mails they say they can not come for the service call another company. They left me on the way. Be very careful before you buy any think from them if you don’t want to be like me!

My condo AC unit went kaput and they spent several hours diligently finding the problem on the same day.Other AC repair companies have always spent the bare minimum in time in trying to solve the problem and often have had to come back the next day or next week. Not these guys! I cant recommend these two guys enough. Very kind and polite too!

This company is excellent! This is the second time I use them in the past 2 months. They first installed a new air condition unit at my Grandmother place. They came on time, gave us a free quote and took care of all the clean up after they were done. Today I used them at my home. I received multiple quotes for more than double the amount Quamec charged me. They have done an outstanding job and I will recomend them to anyone for their Air conditioning needs!

I had a very professional and pleasant experience with Quamec and their service technician Yusser Morales. I was without a/c for 5 days with many electricians not being able to correctly install my new Next Thermostat. Yusser was able to fix everything and install my new thermostat in under an hour. On a Saturday Morning no less. I would definitely recommend this company if all of the technicians have the same capabilities as Yusser.

Sent a tech out same day and installed a new Amana at our house. Very quiet!! I ended up getting a variable speed unit for about the same price as a 2 stage unit from another local company.

Installers tracked mud through the house. Never laid any plastic sheets down when removing old ducts and fiberglass. Destroyed our bushes putting in Slab. [never replanted them either] Could not communicate with customer. Installed cut off switch on wrong angle so did not work and flooded upstairs causing ceiling, carpet and floor damage. Owner never responded. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

DONT WASTE TIME CALLING AROUND AND CALL THEM FIRST...Excellent service. I called QUAMEC late afternoon thinking that I was gonna get the AC repaired the next day or so like with previous experience with other companies, but to my surprise they told me they were dispatching a technician within the hour. Within minutes they call me back to tell me the technician Yusser Morales will be arriving to my house at 5 pm. Yusser was on time and in less than 30 min he assessed the problem. He had to replace several parts including the fan motor and other electrical parts that were rusty. The quote was reasonable enough that I didnt bother to shop for price. He stayed working on it till 8 pm to ensure my family could sleep cool thru the night.I will highly recommend QUAMEC and Yusser to all my friends and family, and to anyone looking to service their AC unit.I hardly post reviews but having dealt with many other AC service companies I had to do it cause QUAMEC blew my expectations.

I found Quamec on the Rheem website. They came out and replaced my AC last Wednesday and I couldnt be happier. Great customer service, and friendly technician.

Not sure how I feel yet. Customer service was GREAT, I had an extremely quick response and appointment. My unit was installed the very next morning. What I dont fully understand is the offers. I replaced my old unit with an Amana (4ton, paid up front, no financing). I received a $500 rebate (not $1000 as stated on the site). I also DID NOT receive a free NEST thermostat (as stated on the site). What was explained to me when I called back was; I can have EITHER the free thermostat OR the rebate !! huh ?? hmmm ! Ill certainly need clarification on that.

I have called several times, they cut me off and a girl answered me two minutes ago and she tells me that people are not there and that she calls in 30 minutes, I tell her that I cannot call in 30 and she replies that then she CANNOT do anything, she I said learn customer service, since you could give me another answer.
