I just had a new Rheem A/C unit installed at my home by Cooling Running Air and I am very satisfied with the service. I had been looking around for estimates and good services for the past month, but wasnt satisfied until I called Cooling Running Air. I called on a Saturday and immediately received a response from the owner, Romeo. He took his time to give me information on different a/c units and worked out a price within my budget. The office staff is amazing too. They answered all my questions and set up the installation date to fit my schedule. On the day of the installation, the techs were there right on time and were very professional. I truly admire their honesty throughout the process. I am always leery of any company. This company put us at ease. They gave us an install date. Showed up on time. They finished on time and did not charge me until everything worked perfectly. We are very happy with both split systems. The rooms are now cooling. i would recommend them for any Air Conditioner work.

I decided I wanted to spend a lot of money on a top of the line Amana inverter based multi stage high efficiency ac unit and started shopping for local vendors who sold Amana. Cool running air was local to me and seemed to have great reviews. Gave them a call and Romi was at my house the next day to provide a quote and tell me all about the different options and features that the unit would have. He gave me a really good price on arguably the best AC unit money can buy down here in South FL for maximum efficiency and energy savings. They scheduled me for the following week and their crew was there first thing in the morning to get the install done. The team is fabulous and knowledgeable and when we had a small issue with the thermostat Romi reached out to his contact at Amana who was there later in the day in person to help us resolve it. Post install service is important to me especially when spending so much for a unit and they don’t disappoint. Yami and Janice specifically who I believe are the office managers who coordinate with Romi and the crew were amazing in getting me taken care of when I had some issues with drain line backups that caused the AC to shutdown. More recently, my synthetic lawn install company purposely clogged the drain line during install and caused my system to backup while I was on vacation. Yami and Janice took my calls at any hour of the day and made sure the crew would be out to take care of it for me. I would wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to cool running air and please let them know you saw Daniel’s review on google so they can give you as good a price and service as they have given me. I contacted cool running air when I noticed my ac started feeling a bit warm and if you live in Miami you know the heat is no joke. My first point of contact was Yami who handled my call in a courteous professional manner. She advised me she has to consult with her dispatching team to schedule my appointment. True to her word she called me back within 30 minutes and had me scheduled for the following day. On the day of my appointment I was contacted by Yanette who informed me that the technicians were in route to perform my services. The Chief mechanic Romie arrived with his technician Eliezer and between them both they cleaned the coils, and performed all the services required to ensure my system was running cool especially with the Miami heat waves. Romie recommended that I change out my system being that it is over 14 years old. He provided me with an on-site estimate and several options for my partner and I too choose from. We went with a Mitsubishi Minisplit system which was installed the following month, even with the pandemic they were helpful and not trying to break my bank. Truly great customer service. They picked up all the debris and left everything working great I will definitely use them again and highly recommend using the,. From start to finish the entire cool running staff was helpful and informative.

Cool Running had great service from beginning to end. My AC was not blowing cold air, air was escaping and it also needed a cleaning, now it’s running beautifully and the apartment finally feels cool inside, and all fast thanks to them! The guys who came in were very cooperative when I requested they put bags over their shoes before coming inside, and both had their masks on properly, very professional and made the service comfortable even through times of covid. Yami was excellent at communicating with me and keeping me informed at every stage. The owner was very Knowledgeable and gave great suggestions on placement. I decided to go with them and was contacted by Yamile their office Manager. So caring, organized, responsive just the best. She scheduled my appointment and their team was prompt. They came 8:30 and finished by 1pm. All Professionals!! they knew what they were doing and got it done. Lets start by the telephone agent named Yami: She is super sweet and warm, like you want to give her a hug. LOL She was very professional and called me when she said she would. She was on top of communicating with her team.The technician arrived to my home to ascertain the issue (an error code on my Mitsubishi Multy unit). HIs supervisor showed up a little bit later and took over in a very meaningful way. HIs knowledge and expertise allowed him and his employee to resolve my issue in a cleanly and efficiently. They rebuilt my drain system in a better and more accessible method to prevent future issues, and they cleaned out several years of drain-clog back-up.In summary, I feel that this company is honest, professional, effective, and here to help the customer. It is refreshing to encounter this type of company in South Florida these days. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We recently contracted with Walter the salesman to exchange a 5 ton central air unit in a new home we had just moved into. Upon replacing the unit, once turned on the 25 year old AC ducts couldn’t take the pressure and blew out everywhere. The owner immediately showed up, diagnosed the problem, And scheduled in the needed repairs. For five days he had four trucks here pulling ducting out of our attic piece by piece with temperatures rising to over 180°. Once the new system was restarted our house is perfectly cooled and the system is quiet as a mouse. We could not be happier with the service from the salesman, to the owner, To the super friendly and helpful technicians. I highly recommend allowing them to service your new AC installs. We originally found Walter through our neighborhood app and he had many positive reviews on there also. As a final pat on the back to this company, they saw the access door to our new equipment falling apart as it was made of wood. They recommended custom fabricating a metal framed access door with a deadbolt lock and after a week they came out and installed it and we could not be happier or feel more secure knowing we had replaced the weak link in our homes security. I can’t thank them enough for all the hard work and initiative that they brought to our project. I do believe most other companies would have just put the AC in, took their check and left. For them to go through so much trouble fixing our entire duct system and then fabricating that access door, that is just way above and beyond what was expected and we couldn’t be happier. Cool Running Air is #1 in Customer Service. First of all, its astounding customer service that Yanette (in the office) always provides. The Mechanical Contractor and Owner Romie is always available when I need him no matter the day or time. Secondly, as any homeowner should do, I researched multiple companies, getting several quotes for new systems, in various sizes, brands and efficiency ratings. Romie and all his service techs, who have been to my home multiple times, was nice enough to always answer my many phones calls and questions, helping me feel more at ease about the entire process. He was (and has always been) down-to-earth, friendly and knowledgeable. I cant say enough good things about him. Ultimately, of course, I chose to purchase the new unit from Cool Running Air. Very reasonable prices for what I needed and with the best customer service and warranty options. Lastly, but certainly not least, the installation techs, they were courteous and friendly and worked very professionally. They were also knowledgeable and again, answered my many pestering questions (sorry, guys!) all with a smile and a happy-to-oblige attitude. They explained the system to me and how to take care of it between maintenance visits. They explained what they were doing and why. I give 10 STARS! I have only good things to say about Cool Running Air and its entire team. My a/c went out over the weekend and I called Cool Running Air Monday Morning. My information was taken and given to their chief mechanic Romie and within 15 minutes he was calling me to schedule an appointment to come to my home. He was here in about 2 hours to save the day. Cant beat that service! He got my old unit up and running so I wont have to spend another night in 90 degrees being from Miami its almost always hot and humid, he guaranteed me that theyll be back early the following morning to put in my new AC system. I already knew I needed a new unit and Romie verified that for me. Theyre going to redo my air handler setup (its inefficient and I knew that too) and redo the pad the AC unit sits on outside. The price is great for the new Amana unit and I couldnt be happier. Romie explained the problems my old unit has, explained the new system and what needed to be done for even better efficiency and got everything set up quickly. I will definitely be a Cool Running Customer for life! I finally found a company who is truthful and fair and values customer service! : )

I hired Cool Running Air, Inc. to install the residential I-Wave, a machine that cleans and purifies air in HVAC system, also kills bacterias, mold and viruses, at the same time reduces allergens and odors. The minute I reached out to the company I knew I was dealing with professionals, they showed up as planned and the installation went well. It has been a week since installation and I am already seeing results, my allergies have improved and the odors coming from my pets disappeared. I highly recommend this company.

I contacted this company to come and service our unit at our office back around the end of July 2020. They sent out a tech, who serviced the unit and reported to his boss that the unit was leaking at the service valve and he repaired it along with refilling the R-22. He did not explain to me what was the actual problem nor what he did to fix it. He just came back in the office to collect the payment for services rendered and to check if the air was blowing cold.The air blew fine for a few days and then returned to only blowing out hot air. My duties have me in and out of the office at all times and it was not until a few days later that I was able to have a chance to call their office and report that the unit was not working, blowing cold air. This is when I got a chance to speak with the Boss. Not sure if I have the name correct but I believe it is Rolly or Romie. The conversation with him was less then productive and brimming with an unprofessional, aggressive, bully-like attitude that I had taken too long to call him about the work that was supposedly done. Pictures were taken and sent to me and he assured me that his tech did what the invoice stated was done and the fault lay with the unit itself being old and in need of being replaced. I had originally dealt with a sales rep named Walter who was professional, humble, and informative. He even sent proposals for options to replace the unit. When I asked to speak with Walter, instead of having to be spoken to as if I was the target of the school yard bully, I was lied to and told that it was his off day when in fact, I had found out later, Walter had quit working for this company. I followed up with emails and only received more excuses and blame on the units age and that the tech would come out and check the unit again but, if he found any new issues we would be charged again for the service call and cost of repairs, if any.A family friend advised me that he, in fact, was a hvac tech and that he would come by and check the unit out. In short, he came out and looked the unit over and to my surprise found a leak, on of all things, the service valve and that the unit had no refrigerant. He made a video showing the leak, and showing that he did replace the valve and refilled the R-22. The air began to blow cold again and has been blowing cold since. He also discovered another leak that was also repaired with a quick weld. So if he found all these things, my question was, what did the Cool Running Air tech really do to my unit? Why did he not see the same leak that needed to be welded when he was working on the unit? I emailed Cool Running Air about this new revelation and the fact that the service valve was actually fixed this time and offered to send the videos I was provided.That email was sent on 8/12/20. As of the date of this writing, I have not received a response in any form.In closing, my soliloquy is to point out, in my opinion and first time experience with this company, that they are dishonest and only concerned with praying on the lack of knowledge people have with hvac so that they can sell people like me new units. I would not recommend using this company unless you want to be strong armed into buying a new unit for your office space or your home.
