Brett was able to get me in within an hour notice to have my car A/C serviced. In just 45 minutes, my A/C was working again! I brought in my 2017 Silverado with the AC blowing hot air. I was visiting my brothers and getting ready to go back to Texas. End of June during a heat-wave.Brett had me bring in my truck at 5:30 am, and found that the condenser had a leak. He was able to get the replacement parts the same day and get the cold air blowing the same day!!! Very professional and courteous. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a great and honest mechanic!

It was a little expensive but, you get what you put in. The man kindly fixed my A/C problem. He pointed out and showed me my dirty cabin filter and recommended a new replacement. He didnt have it on hand so he called a store and they sent someone with it. Pleasant shop and kind advice. My car feels like Alaska now. Thank you.

I came across the shop while renting a UHaul trailer from them. Brett was able to diagnose an issue I was having with my diesel truck while I was hooking up to the trailer. I was so impressed by that, I decided to give him a shot with some repairs and upgrades that I was planning for the truck. Good diesel mechanics arent easy to find and I had been driving all the way to Anaheim for several years to use a shop that I was comfortable with.At the end of the day, I got good solid service and the repairs were done right the first time. And all this for a fair price. I may have found my new local mechanic from here on out.

I broke down in my desiel pusher rv on our way out of state and was not from the area, and Brett was very busy with other customers vehicles, but he understood my dilemma and got right on it. I have taken my RV to other establishments in the High Desert. I never felt like they fully took care of my issues or treated me like a true customer. That was until I dropped off my motor home with Brett. Right from the beginning I felt like he cared about me as a customer and wanted to take care of the issues that I brought it in for. He gave me a quote over the phone and when I came in I had asked him to do a couple of additional items. One of the items he was unable to locate for me but gave me options to look into. The other item he didn’t even charge me for it. When I picked it up it was just as I had asked and he gave me some options for some urgent needs that I would need to address at a future time. I have to say I left there feeling that Brett did what I had asked and went above and beyond. He even charged me less then what was quoted. I had asked another RV tech for a price for the same job and it was $150 dollars more. I will definitely be bringing my motor home back for future needs. I would highly recommend taking your RV there before taking it to any other dealership. Great job Brett!

Brett was a breath of fresh air to deal with. He was professional, up front, and knows his stuff. My family was in a pinch broken down on vacation with a broken motor mount and radiator. Brett was quick to diagnose the problem and fix it in enough time for my family to still go on our vacation. More importantly he did the job right. Record temps pulling the trailer across the Mojave desert in Baker. 118 degrees with pulling up steep passes and everything went right after he worked on my truck. Thank you very much. Would be back in a heartbeat if another problem would surface.

My wife and I had engine trouble with our F150 towing a travel trailer. We limped it fro the bottom of Cajon pass to Hesperia. The guys at the local Napa recommended High Desert RV so I called Brett and said to come on over to see what he could do. We needed to get to Reno that night and Brett put another customer on the back burner to help us. We were in and out of there in a little over an hour. We are so grateful to him and his wife for what they did for us. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Brett was great and the whole staff was very helpful. Took in the RV for service and to check the AC and a couple hours later ready to go. Brett and the staff went the extra mile and over the top for us when we broke down and was towed in for repairs over the holidays. They were so kind to us and helped us out tremendously over the time we were there. It took time to receive the specialty parts ordered for the diesel motor a/c compressor over the holidays but we were well taken care of! The repairs were made perfectly and we were back on the road. I recently bought a used RV from a dealer and the check engine light came on. I took it to Hi desert Auto & RV repair. Brett got to work on it immediately, after getting a p300 code he did an in depth diagnosis and found the problem, a bad fuel injector. This is by far the best auto repair shop Ive been to in 30 years of living in the high desert. Not only are they competent at what they do, theyre prompt and fixed it in less than 48 hours. I highly recommend Hi-desert Auto & RV repair!

I am really disappointed in a few items on the repairs to my truck.I had the valves adjusted and the mechanic did NOT clean the top cover or the valve cover itself,it was still oil stained and the top plastic cover is still covered with dirt.He also replaced the thermostat and did NOT clean the housing.I went to pay the bill with my Debit card and I was informed that they charge 3% for using my card,which I was not told when I received the estimate.I have been doing business in this desert since 1972 and have NEVER been charged for using my debit card.The parts prices were an issue but they did give us a 10% military discount which we appreciated.The job was completed in a timely manner. Brett and Lori are very nice people,just not sure we will go back for future repairs.My answer to your response:First thing is the Valve cover on my engine is NOT PLASTIC,its aluminum and it was not cleaned at all.The top cover for the emission filter is plastic and you couldnt even wipe it off with a rag.You did not notify me about the transaction fee until you swiped my card and told me the bank charges you 6% and that you charged me 3%.I know the bank does NOT charge you 6 % and I have never been charged for using my debit card at any business!We will never do business with you again.

Brett was amazing. After dealing with a tow company that left alot to be desired, Brett stayed late to fix our RV. He also offered for us to stay in the shop yard as it was so late . When we said we couldnt he and Lori suggested RV parks near the shop. If we lived in the area, we wouldnt hesitate to them again.

I am a full time RVer and had a major issue with my suspension system on a Friday afternoon. High Desert was recommended by another shop that couldn’t do the work on an RV. Let me tell you that Brett and his staff went out of their way to help me for the 8 days that I was stranded in their parking lot.I cannot say enough GOOD about these fine people and how helpful they were. They got me back on the road as soon as possible, did excellent mechanical work, and kept me informed the entire time. They even let me plug in so that my batteries stayed charged.The amount of money they charged was reasonable considering the scope of the job.They have uhaul trucks available for rent, and I was able to do my laundry, take a shower and grocery shop during my down time.In closing, I highly recommend High Desert as a place that goes the extra mile for their customers!

In particular, Brett was kind enough to answer my many questions and offered some very helpful advice. He even helped me hook up my tow dolly when we were ready to leave. Brought in my motorhome having problems with the auto park brake system. Brett was able to diagnose and fix the problem very quickly and for a very reasonable price. Also had oil change service on the coach and the generator. Very happy with the auto service and the customer service here is top notch. I would highly reccomend High Desert Auto and RV to anyone looking to have work done.

Limped into Brett’s shop with brake problems on our RV. Professional, timely service. Ended up fixing two additional problems he found. Vincent was a great help too. Everyone was kind and generous. We ended up staying overnight waiting for parts to arrive and Brett allowed us to hook up to his electricity so we didn’t have to run the generator all night. So very thankful for their being open and willing to fit us into their busy schedule! Thanks guys!

Bought my rv to this guy. I was having a problem with power. He told me he had to drop the fuel tank to get to the lift pump inside it and only after he did this could he find out the real problem. I called Cummins they told me the lift pump is not in the fuel tank but attached to the engine block. I find out later that my problem was old fuel. I decided to pull my RV from service with him. it seemed he tried to keep my deposit by handing me a typed note that said money refunded not a receipt that said -500 dollars. B/c he knew I was leaving town. Only after I told him I never left town did he refund my money 10 days later. He also tinkered with my batteries wires... the cummings repair man said that this could lead to alternator burnout a 1200 repair. Seems he was mad at me for finding him out and pulling my RV. You would hope that a repair man would repair and not act this way.

I’ve been dealing with a nightmare situation with my vehicle. I went to a couple of mechanics that did repairs that I apparently did not need, or at least they did not fix the problem. Eventually I broke down on the freeway on my way to Victorville. I got towed to High Desert Auto. Unfortunately they were about to close and I live in Lake Elsinore. It was right before 4th of July and there were no auto rentals anywhere! Ugh!I was going to use Uber, but as luck had it HD Auto also rents out U-Haul trucks! It was cheaper for me to rent a small truck, plus it allowed me to take my equipment home that day. They eventually fixed my truck properly. I am very satisfied and impressed by their knowledge and service. Try them. I’m glad I did.

I dont recommend this place I took my Honda EU2000i generator to get fix charge me a $159 to make a diagnosis. Then they told me they would charge me $950 to get a fix. When the greater cost $1000 brand new. He said $450 for the parts and the rest it will be on labor Which would be $500. The guy just wanted to keep the money from the diagnosis thats why he wanted to charge me $950 to get it fixs Which is ridiculous. Dont ever go here unless you want to get ripped off. Look what these people say to look good on the review. Trying to Argue. They well properly wanted argue more and never admit what they did was wrong. I took some screenshots of real professional charge it doesnt even come close to what you guys were charging me. And no I didnt took it to a garage person to fix it thats funny. You guys saying that. I took it to C &C cycle address is here 13815 Park Ave, Victorville, CA 92392 charge me $625. With the part and labor To get it fixed. With 18 month warranty on parts. Just want people know that you guys want to rip people off. And like you guys said the (RV labor work an hour is $165) I took in a Honda EU2000i generator! I didnt take an RV Hello? You guys said it yourself. I even told the lady in the front counter and she even felt bad charging me. She knew it wasnt Considering what the owner wanted to charge me. I feel bad for her, being force to do something she didnt wanted to do. Dont feel sorry for my dissatisfaction. I paid you already. You ripped me off. You sure are happy. I just hope people take the time to read this horrible experiences. And fine a better place to go and not waste time and money on bussiens like yours.
