Impressed with the clean shop, ample seating and bright lights. They follow Covid protocol. Sun cut my hair, she is very friendly and asked how I like my hair styled and followed my instructions. I have to agree with other reviewers that this is the best haircut I have received. Very professional and meticulous. I am definitely a repeat customer. Highly recommended. I inquired about a head or neck massage. Not available.

Just visited for the first time today--Ive rarely experienced such high quality customer service. I got a great cut (mens) by Sun at a really great price. I was impressed by the precision, care, and timeliness of the cut, and enjoyed the conversation as well.The location is just a pleasant place to be. I feel like they go above and beyond to keep the place looking nice and to treating their customers well. I was recommended by a friend and will definitely recommend it again.

Just moved into the area and decided to give this place a go due to seeing good reviews. The place has only been open since June, but I received a great haircut and definitely plan to come back! Haircut was $17 for men and the barber was great (she had been cutting hair for 14 years). The haircut also included a straight razor shave on the back of the neck as well as a brief hot towel neck massage which sealed the deal for me. Definitely recommend.

The shop accepts walk-ins, and was open today, Thursday (01.23.20), until 7 pm. I arrived about 4:30 because I thought that around 5 pm the place had the potential to become busy with customers coming in after work. I got into the chair right away and like expected the place became busy after 5 with short haired guys all wanting trims. I had hair long past my shoulders and I asked for a cute mid-length, slightly layered looking, Anne Hathaway type of haircut and we set my reference photo on a table for viewing. In the end I left with a slightly different haircut than the one in the picture. I ended up with more of a bob style, and the barber didnt provide me with the shorter cheek length piece in the front at all, but he provided a very neat haircut. For $20 it met my expectation and now Im feeling ready for any and all upcoming job interviews.

Sun is quick and gives a great haircut (fade with a natural side part). Cost is reasonable and the shop is very clean. Would highly recommend giving them a try before dumping 50$ + at some of the other places in the Reston/Herndon area.

Luis used to be a barber at a shop at Fair Oaks Mall, one minute from where I live. He has been cutting my hair for over a year. I ONLY go to him for a haircut. With this new shop in Herndon, it is a bit further for me to travel (about 20 minutes), but I wouldnt think twice about making the trip. This new shop is comfortable and inviting and offers a quality cut (and other barber services) at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to give Town Barbershop my highest recommendation. Plus supporting a small, local business and getting higher quality barber services is a no-brainer.

They take the hygiene of their tools seriously and make sure each customer is getting the A+ experience. Honestly, when I saw the shop I thought the price was going to be more in the $25-$30 range. However it was less than $20 for a haircut! Only $15 for first responders and military too. Price for the service, location, and quality of service cannot be beaten.As a new resident to the Herndon/Reston area, Ive tried many of the other barbershops around here (Worldgate, Salon Plaza, etc) and highly recommend this place. It exceeds the others on all levels. If youre new to the area like I am, not happy with your current barber, or just looking for a change to try something new, give this shop a go. This has definitely become my go to place after trying so many other shops in the area.
