Also I love getting my oil changed here because they let you comfortably sit inside with a coffee/soda while they get the work done, fill her up with gas, and take her through the car wash for you. The customer service is the best in town, by far.

We had our 12 yr old van detailed at Dave’s recently and we were nothing short of amazed! Raising two kids in a van wreaks havoc and they made it look brand new. I mean showroom worthy. Pricing was very fair and they were timely in getting it in and back to us. Excellent job, they’ll be getting our other vehicles shortly.

I did have to call to get their Express Lube hours - 8-6 M-F, 8-4 on Sat and 9-4 on Sun.

I saw an older man with a walker and daves shirt use a fountain soda cup and put it back with the other cups. That is super inappropriate behavior to be doing in a public place.

I brought my vehicle in, the initial encounter was rough but they quickly terminated the employee involved for reasons unrelated to my visit. Kudos to them for taking the trash out. Butch the manager is really nice and friendly to work with. After being told my estimate for repairs was $3000, the parts being roughly $300 and the rest being labor I took my business elsewhere. Personal choice. Rough experience. Hope others fare better.

The only place I go to get my oil changed. Everyone is thorough and friendly. Dave’s is exactly what a full service outfit is supposed to be.

Great group, were very honest about my vehicle issues. And actually took me to my vehicle in the shops and explained what they were seeing and why they need to get the parts they were ordering. I won’t go anywhere else in Helena.

After having poor service from this shop. I gave them another chance. Had my truck towed there for them to replace the power steering pump. I was called the next day telling me my truck was ready. I picked up my truck and went home. The next day I went to work and the pump sounded low on fluid I thought no big deal. Well being a caregiver for individuals with developmental disabilities having a reliable vehicle is a must cause the nature of my job I transport people. When I fired up my truck to leave a persons home the power steering didnt work and there was a puddle of power steering fluid where my truck was parked. After calling the shop demanding to talk to the owner I was called back by an employee who told me well you had a bunch of lines leaking I took my truck back to the shop where they charged me an additional fee to fix what they had missed. When I got upset cause they were going to be charged again the guy got defensive like he was doing me a favor by working on the truck. This is the same shop that a year earlier did work on the same truck and the mechanic there forgot to fill the radiator after replacing it and caused me to blow the engine. The sad thing is that I have been going to the gas station ever since I could drive. Thats 17 years of business I will not be going back i cannot support a company that takes advantage of its customers like this.Since this didnt allow me to respond to what was posted Im add this. The so called leaks in the engine compartment were not brought to my attention by the mechanic only when I complained about not having power steering did the mechanic mention anything leaking. When I brought it back the mechanic scratched his head for 30 minutes say that it wasnt leaking when they drove it out of the shop. The break in the line that was discovered was right at the point where the line attached to the pump but of course that information would be left out. Plus you mean to tell me they didnt check their work?? These reviews can be altered at anytime I originally wrote this in attempts to have the owner make things right.

Went through and it didnt get all the dirt off that well and they wanted me to run through it again. In my opinion they are awesome enough to come out and hand scrub. Best car wash ever

This is one of the nicest convenience stores I have been too. The store is clean and well ordered and the people are very attentive. The new carwash is amazing.

As a long-time customer (personally and business-wise) I have always felt at home and well cared for by Dave, Deb and their excellent staff. Business with soul, no doubt!

We had our van towed here. The mechanic and manager assured us they would work with us, as my daughter is a single parent of 4, and beginning a new job with the state. She receive several messages (all saved for documentation) from the mechanic saying he would get to it, but he wanted to go out with her. He even said he had purchased the parts, and intimated the van would not be returned until she went out with him. This went on for nearly two weeks. Finally, she can get through to the manager, only to be told he was fired for other reasons. She told him of his behsvior, the manager apologizes, saying they had not even looked at the van yet, but they would make it right. The next day, she is informed it is a blown head gasket, and they want 3k to fix it! Today, her boss, in one of labor and industries departments hands her an itemized list of parts and labor for tis repair on her model and year of van for ONE THIRD what Daves is asking. STAY AWAY! LIARS! CHEATS! POOR HIRING PRACTICES

Daves Exxon is my favorite pit stop in Helena. Friendly service, well stocked grocery, wines and beverages, or a lunch on the go. Always clean and attractive.

I moved to town 6 months ago and got my first oil change at Jiffy Lube where they charged me 100 bucks. Not wanting to pay that much again I asked around and someone recommended Daves - couldnt be happier with their service. I was there for about 15 mins max, they changed my oil, vacuumed my car, fixed my wiper, and washed my car for about half the cost of Jiffy Lube. Ill be going here for oil changes as long as I live in Helena.
