I went in for a major trim, and it wasnt quite working for me. I went back a few days later for a few minor adjustments, and now its perfect and I love it! They are helpful and willing to work with you to get what you want. Wish I remembered the name of the lady who cut my hair so she could get some credit for helping me. :) Ill be back.

Pretty hit or miss here depending on which person you get to cut your hair. At West Side Barbers, Ive had some good haircuts and some poor ones as well -- you get that when you pay a cheaper price of around $10.For example, some stylists are friendly and observant, asking questions and doing a thorough job.Others stay quiet and work very quick, missing some spots or positioning the chair so that the customer never faces the mirror.In short, I would recommend this place if youre looking for a quick cut at an affordable price.EDIT: I appreciate the comment from the owner! I definitely would suggest that customers find the stylist that most fits their needs. At the same time, all stylists should be able to cut hair at a basic standard so that new customers are comfortable!

Simple, fast and toddler friendly.

Ive been going here for years and intend to keep going for many to come. I cant say Ive had the same barber more than twice but then again, I only get my hair cut maybe 2-3 times in a year. Regardless, Ive been happy with my cut each time. Theyre great about taking walk-ins, Ive never had to wait too long.

Twice Ive asked for fairly simple cuts and its been hit or miss. The first lady did an awesome job with minimal instructions. I returned a month later and got a cut from the young pretty girl. She did an OK job but it wasnt as clean and even as the other lady (whose booth is to the left of the girls).Overall, the folks there are very nice, polite, and professional but with a friendly-neighborhood-type attitude. The price is very nice as well compared to other spots.I highly recommend, just hope you get the better luck of the draw. My haircut isnt screwed up, its just that it could be better. Ill return there in another month regardless.

My dad and younger brother go here for haircuts every other week or so. All the stylists are very nice and do an awesome job! Plus the prices are very reasonable.

Best service in the town

I have been going there for years. Always great service with a smile. Whether you want a full on beauty salon treatment or an old school barber experience they can make it happen. West Side is also one of the few places left that use a straight razor on my neck (like the old barbers). He also is very good at making your beard look great. Go there you will be glad you did.

Its a time to be served and enjoy the time. My haircut is always exactly as I wanted. I have never left disappointed. I leave feeling like I have a clean haircut. The price is also right.

I dont have time for appointments so being able to walk in is the best! If you want certain people they may require an appointment, but Ive always had good luck.

Theyll take their time with you and really try to do you right...you just have to call ahead and be shore which one is best for what you are after.

I was lured in by the picture of a toddler in a police car, so I thought they could cut my toddlers hair. She did a hatchet job that took months to grow out. Previously, he had been getting his hair cut in salons, and not once did any of them ask me to hold my sons head still or immobilize him in any way. I dont know who is cutting the childs hair in the above picture, but thats not who we got. It just depends on who is there when you walk in.

Never again...Worst haircut ever! Ive noticed most of the stylists turn you away from the mirror. I specifically said a certain length...Didnt happen. Id previously taken my kids here many times. Knew 2 of the stylists were not good so I asked for Nicole. IDK what kind of training these ladies received but need to update and listen to the customers more.

Avoid at all costs. I came here because of its great rating on here but I need to set their record straight. I asked for a medium fade and ended up just getting one length on the side, which wasnt even the length I asked for. Not to mention she messed up my bangs pretty bad. I was just astounded at how lazy and lackluster she was when it came to my haircut. Terrible place, cheap but not worth it.

Went to west side for a hair cut. Had a stylist do my hair cut. Sat in my chair for 15 min while i she did business with other person. I had comments about my scalp,hair and shampoo, that did not agree with me.I have bad a hereditary skin condition with no solution. This Stylist gave me negative comments and wasnt a positive influence for scalp treatment.
