This is an excellent place to get a haircut. I was on vacation at Massanutten from out of town, and needed a fresh haircut. I found Fay’s Barber shop in the phone book, then Googled it for more information. What caught my eye was the $8 haircut sign on her storefront. Fay answered the phone when I called, and she gave me the business hours and driving directions to the shop. Fay’s Barber shop is a 15 mile drive away from where I was staying, but it was well worth the trip. Parking is right near the shop. After a short wait, Fay herself cut my hair. Fay is an old school, clippers-over-comb, certified barber. She does a straight razor trim around the ears and neck. The shop atmosphere is comfortable. Fay has passion for what she does, and made sure that I left completely satisfied with my haircut. A great haircut at a great price, I highly recommend Fay’s Barber Shop.

Down to earth hair cutting experience. $8 hair cut and a good conversation as well. This is the best place to go if youre a college student looking for a haircut at an affordable price. Fay actually has a board that is full of pictures of JMU students that come in routinely to get their hair cut.My only complaint is that the shop isnt as clean and organized as other barbers in Harrisonburg. Although the price is unbeatable, the waiting room has old furniture in it and the lighting isnt the best where Fay cuts hair. Regardless of these factors, I would highly recommend stopping by to get trimmed up at Fays Barber Shop.

Excellent New to the area stop in on a blind whim and received an amazing haircut. Old school hot lather on the neck and a straight razor !!

Fays is the best barber shop I have every been to. I will often hold off on getting a hair cut just to go to her. Only problem is that they are closed on Wednesday, and I often times forget that until I get there!
