Today was my first visit to HI BARBER. She did an excellent job! Very detailed, neat, and clean. Even my beard was trimmed. Hi Barber now becomes my new hair center.

I love this place! I have been taking my 3 year to this place every time. Ive gone to other barbershops around in town but this one is my favorite. They have a room with toys and the barber chair is a car. A big tv where they put on cartoons for your kid to watch while getting a haircut. If you have any kids that don’t like getting a haircut bring them her and you will see why it’s my favorite barbershop.

My 3 year old that normally is terrified of haircuts, had an AMAZING, quick and very calming experience while a very sweet lady cut his hair.Place was adapted for kids in every way possible! Moms I Highly recommend this place, will be back for sure 👌🏼

Lady is so nice! There is clean play/waiting room and clean toys ( you can tell they clean toys) for kids it makes so easy to wait! Very clean salon. I was so worried she would not cut my kids hair because cant wear a mask( Medical condition)Like every other salon in Harrisonburg refused to give haircuts to me or my kids because we wont put a mask on! No matter to them if you have medical condition :( Hi Barber is very polite and understands with respect! Thank you so much! Very fun lady she kept my toddler entertained, he usually wont seat still. The service here is amazing! She’s very intricate and detailed when cutting hair. She also takes her time to make sure it is on point and to your liking. She is also very easy to communicate with. I recommend going here and I for sure will be back here in the future.

I came here because my aunt had told me that the barber was really good, so I thought I would pay a visit. The person cutting my hair was so good at it. I’ve been here about four times now and will continue to go here until I graduate from JMU. Sue is a lovely woman who is very accommodating and provides a precise haircut in an efficient manner. After trying almost every other barber shop in Harrisonburg since being here for college, I can finally say I’ve found the place.

Came to visit from Pennsylvania. Brother in law brought me to her, believe the owner. Said was the best barber in area. Wow. She was like Zen and super focused on getting the cut n fade done right. Very very professional and fast. Best prohibition cut Ive had like ever. Do yourself a favor and go, period.

As an Asian it is difficult to get a proper haircut in the area — Asian hair is uniquely different from other races, and requires knowledge and technique that other barbers in Harrisonburg simply don’t possess. I’ve been consistently disappointed with the haircuts I’ve received from other barbers, and quickly became disillusioned about haircuts in Harrisonburg.That is, until I stopped by here on a whim. As a Korean barber, she is certainly very skilled when it comes to cutting Asian hair. Prices are more than fair relative to what you might see at other barber shops, the shop is clean and orderly, and most importantly — the barber is incredibly skilled! I would highly recommend this barber shop to anyone, but especially those with Asian hair.

Ive been cutting my own hair for almost 6 years after many trials with different barber and couldnt find a good fit. Its amazing to actually find a barber that understands my hair type. So if you have Asian hair, this is the place for you! Or even with other hair types, I think youll be pleased because Asian hair is one of the harder to deal with. Sue (the barber/owner) is friendly and professional. The place is super clean and bright, has complimentary water and Coke, designated playground for kids. Im so glad Ive found this place!!

I don’t usually do reviews, but this was hands down the best haircut I’ve gotten in Harrisonburg, so I had to write about it. The owner is very sweet and really takes her time for your hair. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. So, I really recommend this place, especially if you have asian hair.

Definitely would recommend! I usually hate getting my haircut because I dont know what I want and it usually doesnt turn out too well but the owner (Sue) was patient and worked with me and I was very happy with the results.
