Lived here for about 2 years and had a pleasant experience. I loved the concrete balconies and felt they gave me so much privacy. The one bedroom apartment was HUGE! Big bedroom and it felt very separate from the kitchen/dining, and living room area. I never experienced pests or problematic bugs, stink bugs at the most here and there but that’s to be expected when you leave the window open. I think everyone needs to take responsibility for their own cleanliness & living conditions. My specific building was clean and well taken care of. Anytime I had an issue maintenance handled it immediately! Shoutout to Chris & Manny they really went above and beyond. The community was clean and I never heard my neighbors (I was on the top floor notsure if that made a difference). I always felt safe walking around and the location is perfectly placed near the highway, sheetz, shopping center, and mall. Parking was great as well which can be problematic in other communities. I always had a parking spot in front of my apartment and my guests always had ample parking when visiting without taking away from the other tenants. The ladies on the management team were also very nice and helpful when I needed.

Dont move here, they are tricking you with the price.. This management is so lazy, that 2 years ago they closed the pool because someone died in it, with a petition they switched the area to a puppy park, but all they did is they filled up the pool with dirt (to save money). The puppy park has the same fence, a medium size dog can easily walk through, the entrance is single gated so if someone comes in your dog can run out.Uhm... you remember when I said they are lazy, let me rephrase that. There is 3 Karen Im the office, so you already have a lost chance. Anything you ask them to do is a lost chance and you will be attacked back with non-existant noise complaints, complaints that you are trashy. The car of the resident is magically picked up by a towing company and yeah, with the slightest mistake they will take you to court. For the same price go and find a house to rent ANYWHERE.

If you are looking for long term living, keep looking elsewhere. Our building has been dealing with water bugs since we moved in a year ago. I say water bugs because theyre actually huge cockroaches. We get treated for them every so often, but they will NOT go away. No matter how hard I clean I just feel dirty because of the roaches. Rent is incredibly cheap and now I see why.

I have lived here over a year now-I have not seen anything bad happen. It is very quiet! I am staying another year-because I really like it here. The rent is not bad at all. Its cheaper than where I lived before. The maintenance team is great! The office staff has always been very helpful from day one. If anyone is upset with Aspen-maybe its you that is the problem.

I’ve been living here for about a year, and I have had nothing but positive experiences. Maintenance always takes care of requests within a day, management is friendly and focused on making sure you have a wonderful living experience, the apartments are clean and quiet. The location is perfect! Shopping is nearby, there are excellent options for food, and the complex is closely to major highways which makes commuting to Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, and Hershey quick and easy! The only downside of living here is the apartments are in desperate need of updates. Everything works fine, but a girl would love some stainless steel appliances and hardwood (or even laminate.)Overall, I would highly recommend living here! For the area, it’s one of the best values (as long as you are not looking for an updated living space, but hey, with the help of IKEA, anything can look updated).

Nice size bedrooms and the master is HUGE! Our unit has no W/D, so thats no fun. The walls and floors are thin. Quiet neighborhood and very close to shopping. Small playground, basketball and tennis court and a good size pool. Maintenece is really nice and so is the staff. We moved in at the end of 2011 and are just here till we buy a house.

Apartments are a good size for the price and have a lot of storage closets for an apartment. My unit has a washer and dryer (I see other people saying they dont, only certain floor plans come with them) However maintenance is pretty useless. They find the cheapest, easiest way to fix things which results in them breaking again. They do not clean up the leaves which turns into sludge all over the parking lots, nor do they shovel snow promptly and when they do the shove it up against your cars. Also if you come home later at night dont expect a parking space but there are quite a few cars in the parking lot out front of my until that havent moved as long as I have lived here (2 years). Also very disappointed because they have a pool but it is never open. I had to pay to get a pool pass even though I am a rent paying tenant and only got to go one time because it was never open.

Dont waste your time with Aspen Hill. As a current resident for the past 3 years (I was waiting for my town home) I can attest to all the issues you will encounter; All the heating registers are in front of the windows, which is weird for obvious reasons. The paint used in the bathrooms is cheap latex,There are stink bugs! At any time in the year (summer, expect to find at least 10 a week if not more)The walls are very thin and for apartments that have storage units with the HVAC system stored in it, there will be mold in your air vents, theyll tell you its not.Management/leasing office is very basic and not friendly at all.If you live on the second floor be prepared for leaks from above, and your neighbors to knock telling you although you dont have anything running. The pool no longer exists, albeit a child drowned a few summers ago, the space stands empty. The playground is a poor excuse; 2 swings and a jungle gym thats currently not safe. The rent is too expensive for the property to have so few amenities for you to enjoy.

The most disgusting, worst place i have ever see in my life, every day the police is here in our building, last time there was a fight in the next building and 6 police cars came,in the house you always can smell some nasty rotten fishsmell you have to go into your apartment quicky if you dont want yours smelling like that, every night they are screaming loudly and listening music like crazy,in the apartment you should clean very deeply every day because coachroaches coming and bedbugs from the carpet and there is some white dust everywhere in the corners before you move in....its a worst apartment park ever and so expensive...today this happened .....below the photo...no comment

Lived in Aspen Hill apartments for 8 months now after moving from Philadelphia. Let me begin with the bad. Electric cost was pretty high during the summer months from running the a/c, Comcast cable jack is in an inconvienient location and sadly though its in an open area on the porch propane and charcoal grills arent allowed. Big downfall as I love to grill and electric grills just dont cut it. They do allow electric grills however and there is a convienient electrial outlet on the porch and Ive come to accept it. Neighbors have been a bit loud playing music occasionally during the day which I dont mind but have been respectful and I havent heard a thing past 9pm. Overall Im happy living here maintence has been prompt with any repairs Ive requested any staff Ive delt with since moving in have been polite, friendly and non intrusive. Only reason I didnt give a 5 star rating is the occasional noise during the day (which I understand I live in an apartment complex with others) and the fact I cant use a small charcoal grill. I also reside in one of the older buildings and from what I hear the new ones are concrete. All in all Id reccomend it to anyone.
