The service was great and they helped me find a cheaper price tire .. but then they told me I needed break pads and rotors done on the front which isn’t a problem . I just wish I would have questioned it more because when I asked how much that service was i was quoted 200 something and then when he told me the total all together for my ONE tire and break pads and rotors I felt like it was a bit higher then it should have been with him originally saying break pad and rotor being around 200… but I was also very distracted because my baby was with me . I’m also pretty sure they added the coverage up there that I said I didn’t want . So I think I will need to call tomorrow and ask about that . But besides pricing everyone was very nice and helpful .. just a bit skeptical on why I paid as much as I did .. I have been told o got ripped off

A week ago I made an appointment via the tirechoice website for a car inspection. Upon bringing it in this morning for my set appointment I was informed they do not have an inspector because he quit. Why would you take the appointment then? Then we were instructed to go to another location. 3 years ago I received very good service from this location under a different store manager. Since then I have not had the same level of service.

Im Giving The FEMALE Tire Technician ATTENDANT @ the W.Queen Street Location... The BEST PROPS! SHE explained what type of Tires were on my car (specs/warranty) and what will the best for my car as well as the Warranty Mileages for each brand and level of spending that it will cost me. Service was quick and the front desk staff was honest about services and wait time. I was in and out exactly when I was told I would be. He (the front desk clerk) also gave me an estimate for another service and what other maintenance I might need later on but didn’t pressure me to do it that day. If I could give a 0 star rating, I would.Worst experience I’ve ever had at a tire shop. Had an appointment at 10am & they didn’t start working on my car until 4:30pm. Didn’t get to pick up my car until 5:40pm and they didn’t even wire the TPMS but still charged me for it when I brought in my own they just had to replace the previous ones. The individual working there was beyond disrespectful and very unprofessional. Overheard him yelling because they were undermanned and he didn’t care that I had an appointment and I need to stop “b**ching”. Then, he started hitting and banging on tools. Is that really how one is supposed to behave?I would recommend going anywhere else to have your tires installed or any services done to your car, it’s not worth the headache or subpar work that is done.

Went to shop first time. was greeted by Jennifer. she is awesome. love the personality she has. dropped my vehicle off (recommended due to covid and limited staff) got my repairs done was convenient and again super friendly. I called the front desk about 10 times having Jenny take services on and off after my inspection required me to get some unexpected work done, causing me to spend a lot of unexpected money. I was overwhelmed and frustrated but she was so kind EVERY time I called. She broke things down simply and gave me her best advice so that way I would only be spending what I absolutely needed to. Thank you Jenny! I will be back.Tip: If you want to do your state inspection, drop your car off the night before! That night-owl service they provide is perfect if you have someone that can take you to drop off your car that night and also take you to pick it up when it’s ready the next day. It’s the fastest way to guarantee you have your car back in a timely manner.

Had an amazing experience when visiting this location. Before coming in I called and spoke with Beret asking on service of a oil change. She was able to give me a time and answered any questions I had. Not only were they able to put me in immediately but their customer service was amazing especially with me getting in and out in a timely fashion. I came here to get tires put on my truck recently and I’m so disappointed. Not only did it take them the entire day to put on tires, but they broke into our locked glove box (I remember double checking that it was locked) and they stole a knife, my headlamp and flashlight that are needed for work. Obviously the person who worked on our car denied taking anything. I also know it was in my car because I clearly put it in my glove box before locking it. They also gave us a 5 hour window time for the tires to be out on and that was not the case.

I had a GREAT experience at Tread Quarters in Hampton, the young lady at the desk was personable and friendly! Their services was amazing, and the cost was one that can’t be beat! I had originally planned to go to jiffy lube, but for $21 tread quarters did all that I would’ve received at jiffy lube for nearly triple the price! Thanks so much for the services guys! Keep up the great work.

They have serviced my car countless times. If its not the battery, an oil change, my tires or just checking my belts. They do a great job. My only thing is sometimes they take a while. But I trust them and I know theyll be fair so I dont mind the wait.

I wish I could give it a 0 star rating. Ive NEVER had a decent experience here. The wait is completely outrageous, and the staff speak down to you like you are a toddler. Will never try to go back there.

Came in to get new tires and everyone was friendly inside but when I left the front desk girl told me my tire sensor light would go off after driving a couple miles. Called the shop a week later because the light didn’t go off and they told me it would cost $500 to fix it (absolutely absurd!!). Decided to take my car to discount tire instead because I didn’t trust tread quarters.Not only did Discount tires tell me it would only be $60 to fix the tire sensor they told me they can tell whoever put my tire on broke my tire sensor. And the cherry on top of all of it was the guy at discount tire made me aware the the young kid at tread quarters also broke off my tire pressure sensor and DUCT TAPED it back on and of course it fell off and was jammed in the between my rim and my tire and I have photos to prove it. I was never made aware of any of this. The nice man at discount tire told me it was very dangerous and my tire could have popped mid driving. Absolutely furious with this location!!!

My experience yesterday all took place with Jennifer R.First, my first experience couple months ago was met with awesome service. However, it took almost all day just for my car to get an oil change. I came here for tire quotes last month and was met by a very friendly and helpful associate. So, I decided to give this location another chance for an oil change, because of the good reviews. Big mistake!My significant other dropped my car off at 8:45AM on Monday April 27th, 2020 for an oil change and I got it back at 3:00PM!We tried calling several times to check on the status of my vehicle. The first time we called a lady (Jennifer) put us on hold for 10 minutes and she never came back so we hung up. We called several mores times throughout the day and NO ONE ever picked up. My boyfriend and I returned to the location at this point because it had been about 6 hours. We saw the vehicle was finished and wondered why we didn’t get a call. We had left 2 numbers Jennifer could reach us at. We were not greeted by Jennifer when we entered the shop. She ignored us for several minutes to which she finally said “yes ma’am?”. My boyfriend told her we were there to pick up the Dodge Avenger, being that they interacted with each other that morning, but this is where it get very uncomfortable. Jennifer looks at me and goes “oh you must have been the lady that cursed me out on the phone earlier!” as she put the keys on the counter. I told her I had no idea what she was talking about... she pointed to my cell phone number and said “I called you earlier and tried to tell you your oil pan was leaking and you cussed me out!!” My boyfriend and I looked at each other, very confused at this point and said she didn’t talk to me. We also said “there were 2 numbers left, clearly you must’ve misdialed and got the wrong number. Why didn’t you call the second number we left?” to which her response was “after the lady cussed me out, and no offense, she sounded old on the phone, I said forget it”. It felt like a personal shot but I told her her words didn’t offend me because it was NOT me who she talked to and we were becoming uncomfortable. We told her we tried calling and was put on hold and no one ever came back and when we tried calling back no one picked up all day. She said it was her who put us on phone, she forgot we were on hold and left the store to get a customer. Unbelievable!! She then pulled out 3 different phones behind the counter and said “this is what I’m working with. These phones hardly work.” At this point we just want to pay and leave. We thanked her and once again told her it was not me whom she spoke too, and she made a face indicating she did not believe us. Truthfully, we do not care what a complete stranger thinks of us. Maybe she should take into consideration all 3 of the shops phones don’t work properly. And if a young man dropped off the car, why would an “old lady” pick up the phone and curse her out then accuse me, a young lady in her 20s cursed her out? By far the weirdest shop experience and customer service experience I’ve never had.

Greetings! I thoroughly enjoyed my encounter with Tread Quarters Discount Tires! The woman who assisted me around 4:30pm on Tuesday evening made me appreciate being a customer. Not only was I treated with decency and respect, my needs were served efficiently!!!I recommend this business location to many!

Usually when I go to get my car serviced, the employees try to rush me or make me pay for more things than I intended. When I came in today Guy explained everything, was patient and got us right in. Guy, along with Beret’ checked up on us and kept us updated. Everyone here was very friendly and even joined into our conversation and acknowledged our presence! They made me feel very comfortable. Definitely recommend everyone to go get to get your car serviced!Side note: the inside of this location is very clean!

Beret was AWESOME!!! Took my daughters car to get it worked on and she took great care of us. When we got the car back the controls on the steering wheel were not working. She and Guy told me to bring it back, she did research and they fixed at no charge THANKS FOR YOUR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Courteous service. Came in with a slow leak after having work done here before. On both occasions I was taken care of promptly and everything was explained in detail to me. It’s good to go to a shop that’s straight up with you and not give you the run around.

Went to get an oil change and ended up being told I needed additional work done to my vehicle. Ok that isnt a huge issue...until...I realized that the prices I was quoted werent added correctly. Be leary when going to these folks and make sure you add up the charges prior to paying.

The crew always does an Excellent job & always do more than is asked. Unparalleled service for the price, cant beat it. Only downside to them being so good at what they do is waiting for everyone else to get their vehicle done. Expect to wait 1-4 hours. The wait will be worth the service.

Its too long of a story, but this is my second time at this Tread Quarter and both experiences were unbelievably great...from service to price to timely repair.I work crazy days and hours so getting important things done is difficult.This trip the manager on 10/7 made sure my car was taken care of on time...recommended necessary repairs and told me which repairs were not necessary.She even called other TQs to see if I could get squeezed for an inspection she definitely went out of her way!Thank you!

Avoid.... Stood at front of line for 20 minutes with several other customers this morning and there was NOBODY behind the counter to assist. Two outside mechanics walked in and were also surprised by the MIA but could not offer any assistance.

Amazing service! Came in with 2 tires blown out. Had me in and out within 45 mins. Even fixed a bend in the rim free of charge and waived my installation fee!!!! Will definitely be back for all my tire needs!

I had an awesome experience with the staff here at Tread Quarters tonight. I called 30 minutes before closing because my tire was going flat and Brie quickly told me what they had in stock, the price, and said that she would go ahead and have the tires pulled so I could have them put on tonight. I was in and out in less than an hour and the price was less than what Firestone or Walmart had quoted me!

Beret and her staff were amazing! We showed up very late in the day, but they made ir possible to get 4 tires. They meticulously went over every item on the bill and took the time to explain everything. Dont let the location discourage you, the service is excellent!

Start at Cunningham location but mechanic hurt himself so the clerk made arrangements for me to go to the s armistead location for the price quoted. she completed all the paperwork before I left her store. we got to armistead and they showed me the issue with the car and even saved me a little money off the quotes price and were super nice and helpful. highly recommend

I stumbled upon this gem of an auto shop after a long and stressful day dealing with a flat tire. Beret and the mechanics were so helpful and caring... I felt like I was in a small-town mom and pop shop. They did their best to repair my tire. Because they could not guarantee my tire was 100% fixed, they did not charge me for their services, which was such a blessing at the end of a long day.I will come back to this EXACT shop from now on and so should you! I was unfortunately 45 minutes late coming from a doctors apt but they still were able to get me in right away and get my oil changed rather quickly! I showed up like a stray dog standing at the door 10 minutes before they opened in desperate need of a tire repair . They let me in and then I explained my situation and they instantly started repairing my tire . I am so grateful that they got me fixed up and out the door quickly. Car started making a thumping noise at speed so I called them to see if they could look at it. Made an appointment for Saturday morning on a Thursday afternoon during the holidays, which is unheard of! I was pretty sure I knew what the problem was but don’t have the time or tools to fix it. The Tread Quarters staff quickly test drove and examined my car, pinpointing the issue, even with being extremely busy. It was a wheel bearing and a bad tire. They quoted me a fair price and said they could fix it that day. Had my car back noise free by Saturday afternoon. They even gave me a discount for not having the exact tires I wanted in stock. Staff was friendly and attentive. The car was clean and ready to go by the time they said. Good job Tread Quarters, I will surly be back to this location.

Went in just for an oil change. The mechanic name Danny went above and beyond. Noticed a couple tires and brakes were worn. Pumped my tires. Personally showed me all the work Ill have to get done eventually and even attempted to reset my TPS light! Customer service was great 👍

Do not go here.I inquired with them about 2 weeks ago on getting a wheel balance and rotation.They informed me that because my tie rod ends were completely worn, they would not do the work for liability reasons.Today, after getting my tie rods replaced, I am informed by another employee that they dont have the equipment to do an alignment on my vehicle.Long story short, employees within a business need to be on the same page for what the business is capable of doing.Dont feed your customers misinformation.If you really want service from a TreadQuarters in Hampton, go to the one on Cunningham Drive next to Wal-Mart. They will take care of you.
