I went here to get my wheel bearing fixed for $300 they called me saying it would late on be $500 because I had “extra” items to repair to do the wheel bearing. So I paid it and get to my car and my wheel is making this knocking noise it didn’t do before I brought it to them and also right after picking up my car from them my ac stopped working which was working perfectly fine before I brought it to them. I’m a young 20 year old female who knows nothing about cars and I believe wholeheartedly they took advantage of me. Not to mention the facility is disgustingly unclean but the man at the front had a cigarette lit while I was in there.

Been going for years through 3 different cars and Robby’s the best mechanic hands down he’s patience with the female population and well educated on his craft! Keep up the good work and see ya soon for inspection

Today I went to the R & J Auto Repair and met Robbie anJim, they are very personable very professional I cant think of anything I could complain about ! I got my vehicle inspected and he cleaned my headlines they look like theyre brand new and they were coated over with a yellow film that I couldnt get off, I can see so much better he did a excellent job I would recommend them to anybody that needs any type of service done with their vehicle just call them they will squeeze you in!!

Robby is a good mechanic that is honest to a fault. Hell fix what needs fixing and not try to talk you into stuff you dont need. If you get an inspection done hell inspect your vehicle honestly. If something needs fixing hell let you know before just fixing it. Ive never felt as if he was taking advantage of me. My wife likes to take her vehicle there also. She said most other mechanics try to intimidate woman by talking down to them. Robby talks to her and doesnt try to sell her work she doesnt need.Its refreshing to know theres still an honest small business mechanic left in this crazy world we live in.

Ive been going there for years because of their reliability, expertise and customer service.

Great people and very nice. My problem is that they never open up on time. Theyre suppose to open at 8a.m. but no one shows up til sfter 9 and thats really unprofessional.

Great customer service, knowledgeable about whats wrong with your vehicle and explaining it to you, great prices, prices are way better than meineke and they dont see you as money walking through their door unlike meineke. Took my car here because the engine light was on found out it needed a camshaft sensor.They fixed it within no time. I will recommend this shop over any other in Hampton. I will be passing the word on and I will be returning to get my car serviced again.

Took my vehicle here for an inspection and I didnt even get it back until 4p.m. the following day only to have learned that my vehicle failed. So I decided to take my list and vehicle to a mechanic of 30+ years and found out that there was absolutely nothing wrong. I waited a day or so and returned for re-inspection and just as I thought it passed without me having to purchase a thing! They are very unprofessional and certainly dont mind being arrogant in thinking they have the upper hand when it comes to inspections. These guys cant be trusted and thats why I strongly advise seeking second opinions! I knew there was nothing wrong with my ride and it was proven when it passed the re-inspection without me having to open my wallet and spending a fortune like they thought I would! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone because they invest too much time in perfecting their lies!
