Like many businesses during this time, this business is short of help. My Jeep ran hot so I took it in for repair. Since I live in Maine I wanted a reputable business which H&H Radiator is. Ive known of the business personally for 50 years having worked in a service station up the road from there in 1971.They had trouble diagnosing the problem. The radiator was replaced which was needed but didnt solve the problem. Water pump replacement was suggested. I authorized the work and was told it would be another days wait.Early afternoon the next day I got the call my Jeep was ready. It turned out the culprit was the fan. Much to their credit, H&H Radiator repaired the fan which lowered the price of the repair work. As far as replacing the water pump, that was done at a price that brought the price in close, but less than, the original estimate.I was treated VERY fairly. Ive done some driving and my Jeep runs cooler than ever now. I highly recommend H&H Radiator and encourage you to be patient during this difficult time for so many businesses. They will get it right!

I took my car here for a power steering belt issue after being recommended this place by another shop. They completed the repair work and then told me there was more work that needed to be done on the car and told me to come pick it up right away. The technician was very vague about what was wrong with my car over the phone and the place was closed by the time i went to pick up my car. I decided to call them the next day to get some clarity of what was wrong with my vehicle. The technician on the phone said that my timing belt was at risk of breaking and they dont recommend me drive my car. seeing that I had already picked up my car I was not happy that they told me to come pick it up with such a severe problem without giving me a quote on what it would be to repair it. I then asked them to give me a quote to repair the issues and they said they would call me back. They called me back and I missed the call so I returned the phone call. They told me the person was busy and they would call me back. No one ever returned my phone call. I have since took my business elsewhere since it seems like they are uninterested in repairing my vehicle. This place seemed nice and friendly when I first went to them.

We were driving back to Ohio after vacation when our ac went out and they managed to squeeze us in fast even though they were extremely busy. Physically showed me what they found and didnt try to take advantage of me, I had to talk them into doing more than they wanted because they didnt want me to spend money on something they werent 100% sure I needed. AC blew cold all the way home, thanks for everything!

Im new to this area and came by here because I had a side mirror that popped out of place. From the moment I walked in the door I knew it was going to be a great experience. Customer service was the best Ive come across at a car shop. Very friendly people who have your best interest at heart. I have now found a new home for my car needs. I would reccommend them to all my family friends. I will be taking my car here and only here for any repairs. Its so nice to come across people who just want the best outcome for your situation. Very pleasant staff. Local auto mechanic shop that specializes in radiator and A/C repair. Took my daughters Jeep to them fearing it was the heater core. They told me they can try flushing it and that should solve the problem, which it did. I will come to them for future auto issues.

Joe at H&H is a top notch guy. Ive had trouble with my Nissan Rogue AC for 4 summers now. I have taken it other places to have it looked at on multiple occasions, to no avail. Joe and his team diligently trouble-shot for several days until they found the culprit. Been running great for almost 4 weeks now! Besides their quality work, customer service is excellent as well! They patiently answered all my questions in the process and worked with me to ensure the problem had been fixed. 10/10 would recommend!

Friendly owners. Post repair ($1190.00) my A/C worked fine the first week.Went to turn it on two weeks later no A/C. Will have to take it back. Will have to wait until I can get my leave.

Terribly disappointed. Took my boat heat exchanger in for repair. Waited ten days to get it back still leaking. After we took it back they said that they were not going to honor their work because that was not on the side they fixed. charged me 250 dollars and referred me to the machine shop he sent it to. No new paint or acid dip done. unit was leaking worse than when i took it to them. Do not go to them unless you have no other choice.

Local “Mom & Pop” business at its finest.If it does not need fixing, they will tell you so (despite hearsay otherwise by the mechanically declined).My family has trusted these folks since they first opened and they back their work. This place is about maintenance and repair done properly.You will get what you pay for. To borrow an expression from another profession; “Good repairs are not cheap and cheap repairs are not good.”H & H is where I take my mothers car to have it serviced. You will have your car repaired in a way that you can depend on and you are supporting the local economy.

Awesome prices and friendly service! I needed work done with my radiator and thermostat stuff. I dont know anything about cars and pricing. I took it to one shop and they wanted over $1500. Took it here and service was $900. Always going to go to this place when I have an issue.

Needed a new radiator and they took good care of me. Called them on a Saturday morning and drove home that afternoon with a new radiator and hoses. Prices are competitive and the owners are very nice.

Mr H makes car service non stressful and a pour joy. We had took our Infinite to three places including the dealer and H&H were the only ones who actually pin pointed and fixed the problem.

These guys saved my car and did it fair and cheap. I was on my way home to KDH and my radiator hose literally blew right as I pulled into the parking lot. Joe jr ran over and helped me get everything shut down safely and walked me through all the possibilities. I left my car with him overnight and he did everything he could and got me home for less than 60 bucks. If these guys were closer to where I live Id go back without a single hesitation!

I take all of my vehicles to H&H and I recommend them to anyone. They are honest and very reasonable when it comes to pricing.

Great service, put my girlfriends dodge dakota in for a diagnostic on the a.c., and bad fan. Turns out it was a bad compressor. Yes the price was high to hear, but labor was the cheapest thing. A.c. isnt cheap, and quality work isnt cheap. But in this case it was. Joe was honest about costs and possible rises in prices for unforseen problems, but luckily only the original problems were the only problems. They could have lied and got more money, but theyre honest folk and do honest warrantied work. Definitley will return.

Had an engine replacement done there approximately 6-years ago on a 98 Dodge Durago 4x4 (5.2L engine) and network they have in place from local engine resource, to shipping, to installing it was on point and you pay direct to the resource, not H&H themselves (except for the actual engine install). Not to mentioned, H&H will recommend you change out an existing old part for new in the event the part is accessible with another part is being replace at no additional labor cost. And by obtaining the part directly from an Auto Supply Store (Autozone or NAPA), you (the owner) maintains the warranty of the part. Ive had numerous of other small repairs (ball joints, struts, radiator) that I would do myself, but time would be of essences...And, theyve never disappointed me, much less the wifie. Pricing is always fair or better. Ill be a life customer as long as H&H is around.

They fix things that dont need fixing. DO NOT GO HERE. I went for a gas smell, and they put in a FUEL TANK (which they specialize in BTW), and it ended up being a oil leak!!!! Nothing with my fuel tank.

This place was a disaster for my college student. She gave them a boat load of money and nothing worked properly once it was fixed. They overcharged for labor and broke her headlight while trying to replace her radiator. If you are a Hampton U. student, do not patronize this business. Nothing but problems!!!
