This place use to be a great place to buy a used car. They were honest and sold reliable cars. Ive purchased multiple cars there. They sold me my last car knowing it had transmission issues. The car stayed in their shop for weeks. I was told they replaced the transmission. Now a few years later the transmission is failing. Not only that aftering the car a month I found really bad rust on the undercarriage. I will not purchase here again. I use to love this place.

From the start it was a bad experience. I only went because a friend recommended them and had no problems (hes a guy). Once I handed over the downpayment they were no longer interested in quality CUSTOMER SERVICE and maintaining the maintenance on the vehicle-even under warranty. Upon walking in your not greeted, and the individuals working there just walks past without acknowledging you. Talk about horrible service. I recently needed to have work done that wasnt supposedly covered under warranty, only to find they charged 3x of what it would cost to clean it and a closer to the price of actually replacing a part and putting it in new. Not even 3 hours after paying to have the car repaired it broke down again. When calling them back I was informed it was my lost and they would be more than happy to start over charging the new price of $800 not considering they just took half of that and the car still wasnt repaired.. What a Joke. Run far and fast. Keep your money. Youll be out more in the end.

I haven’t had my hopes let down so much. I read the google reviews and felt pretty confident about buying my vehicle from here based on other positive feedback. Well, so much for my luck. The car buying process was easy, as it normally is because of course they want your money! I picked out a car and by the time I had the vehicle for three weeks, it kept shutting off on me. It did this 2/3 times. So I finally took the vehicle back to them. They had no sense of urgency of fixing the vehicle. They didn’t seem sorry and poor poor customer service. Every time I called, I was given an attitude. From sales to service, everyone seemed like I was a bother and I also didn’t have a vehicle!! Did they care? No. Not at all. Even to Mrs. Garret (which now I understand why her employees talk that way to customers because she does) this has been an awful experience. I returned a vehicle in less than a month because the battery and check engine light came on. They didn’t offer to put me in another vehicle, to trade the vehicle or even take it back. I wouldn’t recommend getting a vehicle from here unless you bring your own mechanic first. Definitely gonna look into seeing what I need to do about this, because it is not fair!

I had a great time here. Tim and Vinny helped me out getting my first car yesterday and I thank them a lot. They gave us no trouble. It went smoothly and quickly.

My mother purchased a car here in 2017. After the 1st day my mother had the car, she had to return it back to Garrett Motors because the car was running hot. She then found out she was given the wrong size wheel (rim) and the wrong size windshield wipers. It took her 3 years to find and fix these parts that Garrett Motors gave her wrong. I give them a 1 star and do not recommend. EVERYONE make sure you check every part of your car before you leave out of their car lot.

I went to this local business per a reference. They had pretty decent vehicles for my purpose. Unfortunately i was at the service department more than i can count. Donna had issues getting tags from DMV because the system changed. It made no business sense shes the only person whom could do that particular paperwork. Seeing that she had knee surgery, another her person needed to be trained. SmhOver a 60 day period i was there every week getting things fixed. It got so bad i had to get new tires & they made me pay for a motor for my window. And even NOW im continuing to have problems. FYI there was nothing wrong with my credit. I wont be returning or referring.

This is an old family friend and I know what people think of used car salesmen but I have all the confidence in any deal done here I have sent my own family and friends here for great deals on cars.

I wish I would have never purchased a car from them I’ve had my car less then 30 days and today was the fifth time I’ve had to call about issues with it. The car has been in service more then I’ve been able to drive it I’ve gotten a loaner twice in less then 30 days now to the point of just returning the car and wanting my money back I wouldn’t recommend anyone here nice people smile and grin get you into a car and that’s about it.

I had purchased a car & got scammed, I only had it for four months and everything was going wrong with it. I’m pregnant and needed transportation to my appointments and to work plus my two year old son would be riding in this car.. It wasn’t safe at all for us. I thank god I came across Garrett’s Motors. I got my car from this place it been in the shop with them for 4 weeks.. Finally got it out yesterday paid 320 to get it out it haven’t even been 24 hours and my car battery died while on the road leaving their shop..They didn’t even bother to call me they called my mother n law and Ronnie gonna say I need to pay some more money to get it fixed. I don’t understand how i gotta pay more money when the car was suppose to get fixed in y’all care for a month or so ..I’m trynna find out what was y’all doing to my car for a whole month it’s still not fixed I’m so pissed I need a new car ASAP and I don’t want no one to go to them.. They just don’t care I tryed to call them over and over yesterday couldn’t talk to Ronnie at all. I’m so pissed I need a car and they don’t even care. Now gotta spend more money when I didn’t even have the car in my possession it was in there for a whole month smh. I’m so upset because they are really nice ppl but this is not right not right at all. I feel like the are races and so rude I get nothing but rude when I talk to them I put all my money into them and they want me to back for something that been in there care for a month and I’m so pissed if it’s not even funny they don’t help me at all

The owner ask me to remove the negative review i posted January, and i did because he would take care of the problem we had with our suv. This is the short history of our expiration with Garrett Motors. Purchased a suv with 120,000 miles in December two weeks later transmission problems started, gave us a loaner car it broke down in our drive way. they kept our suv 4 weeks after it was fixed we drove it home and it leaked trans.. fluid everywhere they sent a tow truck and i picked up a 2nd loaner car that started smoking and running hot two blocks from Garret motors building. turned around to get the 3rd loaner car We have had our suv a total of 6 months and it has been in their shop 4 times for the same thing. now we are back at this point for a 5th time. i did not tell Garrett motors that i had the transmission checked by AAMCO just to see if they would lie and of course they did! So it looks like i have just lost $3500 in down payment and $8000 plus for the cost of the suv. I wish i could give this review a negative 5 stars. Now that the lies have started to come to light i wish i would have never removed the first review because they made money from people during tax season after i removed it. if you think its just sour grapes on my part go ahead and roll the dice and you will see!and by the way the only reason i gave 1 star is because the web site would not let me post without clicking one star.
