I would recommend shop. They was very professional and nice. They have the best customer service experience. Nicole, front desk women, was so nice. Steve was the best to work with. He made sure I understood the process and he called me with updates every few days. Their work they did on my car was great. It came out so good.

Clean, professional, did a great job. They were more friendly then the other place I first was quoted and the price was very fair. Also, their communication was impeccable. They called me several times to update me on the progress and got the job done early. They also cleaned the inside of my pickup. Very happy!

I went to this Auto body on 181st Southeast Gresham called the day before to make an appointment .told them that I wanted my. estimate on my vehicle that was in a car accident the fellow came out but did not look at my car gave me a story about his father. I was so displeased. I showed them the damage of my vehicle and he said where?? I did not understand this. And told me that it could take up to 5 months to get my car back how would he know that. he did not even look at my car. it would take a long time did he not want to help me so this is why Im reporting this establishment. I may be a woman of color but Im very smart..

I dropped my car off for repairs before going on vacation. Even though the car was fixed up before I got back, they were willing to hang on to it for a few extra days without any complaints or charges until I got back into town. They were always professional and have most amazing manners and professional behavior I have come across with any auto body shops.

Had accident with bumper damage and Steve took care of us. Steve kept us informed every step of the process by phone and email. We appreciated for his professionalism and highly recommend him if you need an autobody repair.

All employees especially Steve and Brandon are disrespectful, belittling and refuse to do any extra work or support their customers.Took my car to get fixed after an accident, they had my car for over a month yet only fixed a small corner, the other dents from accident weren’t fixed and Brandon said it was my fault for not pointing it out at the time when I did with pictures. We were told we could pay to fix the rest of the car dents and dings and painting and when the car was returned they said that’s not something they offer, even though they priced us for it at the beginning (as an auto body shop they said they don’t offer fixing auto body) and belittled me and my mom telling us that is OUR fault and can “fix it ourselves.” my window stopped working after getting my car back and they did not believe that was on their end. Window worked before you had it and not when I got it back, that is your fault. It took multiple phone calls and arguing to finally have them look at that window and fix it. I have seen many people leave in tears in the 3 visits I have made. They had my car for an unnecessary amount of time for unacceptable amount of work.

Excellent work and customer service. And the car came back to me very clean and looking like new.

So I go here not once but twice and the guy Dan was very rude and disrespectful I would never do business with them very bad consumer services

Great body work on my truck. On time and on budget

Mackins repaired some front end damage to my truck and did an awesome job. From the first time I called and spoke with Steve, to letting me know exactly what the process was, to repairing my truck and getting it back to me earlier than originally promised, I am extremely happy. The work is excellent, the customer service is five star. I couldnt ask for a better experience!

As promised my vehicle completed on time. This is the 4th time in 14 years bringing 3 different cars to Mackins and they continue to do quality work. Steve makes everything easy to understand. Nobody enjoys having to take their vehicle to the body shop but Steve at Mackins makes the experience that much more pleasant and enjoyable. The cost of the work done was also very competitive. I will continue to make Mackins my place to go for body and paint work.

I am extremely glad that I had gone to Mackins. These guys were the epitome of professionalism and good service. I was updated every day on my car’s status, it was finished ahead of schedule, (even after having to special order parts) and the work they did on it was second to none. It looked better than it did pre damage. Also, they deep cleaned the inside as well and with two children and a furry dog, it was the cleanest I had seen the inside since we purchased the vehicle. They also helped arrange the rental car pick up and drop off at their shop. Mackins made this the best auto repair experience I’ve ever had and I would highly recommend anyone who needs some work done to head their way!

My car was in their shop for almost 2 weeks and they were fantastic to work with, from the front desk to the estimator to their General Manager. I took my car there to get a estimation for a head on collision repair and was told by Steve that they wont know until they take the front bumper apart to get a full estimation to the damage. I agreed with Steve. After the visual inspection estimation I decided to have Mackins Gresham Auto Body do the repair for my damaged car. I called them back to setup the appointment to bring in my car for repair and spoke with Brian. Brian spoke to me as if he was Nationwide Insurance representative and that he got everything under his control. He setup the the appointment to bring in the damaged car for July 15 about 11/2 out on the day i called in. He will get a rental car ready when I bring in the damaged car for repair on July 15. I told him I need a car rental now and i cant wait until July 15. He told me that i am not allowed to go a car rental without his consent because will get the car rental for me on July 15. I never heard any Auto Body Shop that is so persistent to there customer. Rather Im getting a car rental or not have nothing to do with him. Its none of his business. Brian than continue going off saying that my car is still drive-able even though he himself havent not even fully inspected the damaged car. I told him that the damage to my car cause all senors on my car to go off and the key-less entry light flashing on the meter dashboard. He said safety is none of his concern and my car is still drive-able end of story. Today the towing truck from Nationwide Insurance towed my car to the Mackins Gresham Auto Body shop and Brendon was not happy so he called me. Asking why my car was tow to his place without his consent and that my damage car is still drive-able. I should of wait until July 15 to bring the damage car and pickup the rental car per his instruction. Now he my car gone and out of there because I got a rental car and have my damaged car towed to the Mackins Gresham Auto Body shop without his consent. I tried to explaining the situation to him and that the Nationwide Insurance are the one who towed the car there not me but he wont listen. All that Brendon care about was to bring in my car on the day that he scheduled. This place sound very fishing of scammer after dealing with this guy Brian.Good thing I havent sign any paper work yet and will be picking up my car after work. I will never go near any auto body shop that are as demand as Mackins Gresham Auto Body. Stay away from this place..

My insurance company works with Mackins. They were very thorough and professional, as well as helpful. They couldnt save the car, but thats not their fault. I blame the guy who rear ended me. Ill go back to them for services when I get another car. :-)

Very happy about how professional this place was. Had my rental car ready to go AT the auto shop so all I had to do was hop in and go I didnt need to get a ride to pick up the rental car. The auto shop was really good with communitication. They had my car fixed a lot sooner than I expected. There was still a tiny bit of damage leftover from the accident but honestly nothing that affects the car just a couple scratches. Overall Im impressed and happy with my experience.

Nobody WANTS to have to deal with a body shop for their vehicle (at least, I dont think they do). But if you have to, Mackins Gresham is the BEST. They were so kind and helpful to me at every step of the way, even finishing up earlier than originally projected and picking me up at home so as to avoid renting a car! Everyone there made me feel good, welcome, and valued. The work is top-notch and my car looks beautiful. Thank so very much!

Highly recommend! My Progressive Estimator estimated three weeks. They finished it within 8 business days right before Thanksgiving! Stephen is great to work with, even in that short amount of time he kept me updated with the progress and was very transparent. The team did a great job and my car looks like new. And with their lifetime guarantee, I know I can rely on them for any questions or concerns.

I really dont know how much better it could have been. Polite, efficient, kept us posted, had no issues with predicted schedules, vehicle looked great after repairs. I would definitely take my next body shop work to them. I used their 182nd and Division Portland location and was well pleased. Steve and Lynette and the whole crew were really easy to work with.

The said they had to cut the center of the bumper so they can get the bumper off. I never see people do that. I wouldnt recommend anyone to take their car there. They had no idea what they are doing.

My brand new car sustained large scratches while in the parking garage at my work. I was so disappointed because the car is brand new—but John at Mackins in Gresham made it like new again! It only took 3 days and that included ordering and waiting for parts to be delivered. They handled the insurance billing seamlessly and even gave me a ride to/from the car rental agency. I am delighted with the results and would be happy to use their services in the future—but hopefully I won’t need to!!!

Great customer service, gave me tips on how to deal with the the other drivers insurance company, and had me in and out of there in no time on two separate occasions. I just wish I could remember the name of the two gentlemen who helped me.

My husband and I travel from Oregon City to Gresham to take all of vehicles to the Gresham Mackin’s Auto Body because of their impeccable customer service. We own 3 vehicles, 2 of which have been in accidents and each time Mackin’s has treated us amazing. Each and every employee is knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. We love it there, and will continue to travel the distance to take our vehicle there when they need any autobody repairs.

Our vehicle was in an accident and going through that entire process is a bit of a hassle. However Mackin’s really made it much easier. Steve at the Gresham shop was giving me updates on a regular basis and working with me on all my concerns. I appreciate the help and the well done job on our vehicle.

Steve Kohler was awesome. I was rearended and picked Mackins to do the quote and assesment and I was NOT disappointed. Steve probably has been the best part of the whole experience. Short time interaction with him but he left a great impression and is a great asset to their team as a whole.

The repair turned out good. However tape residue was left on the car and the replacement bumper applique has bubbles in it that they were not willing to fix. I did like that they detailed the inside of the car.

My pickup had significant ice storm damage to the hood and roof. Considering the amount of work that this winter provided for Portland area auto body shops and the great reputation of Mackins, I felt that the two week delay getting in was entirely justified. Once there, the repairs were accomplished in three weeks. I dont have enough experience to know if that was a long time, but they kept me well-informed about the progress, and the quality of the work made any wait worthwhile. I highly recommend Mackins.

Good body work, but odd customer service. They were questioning the nature of the accident after insurance claimed liability... Ive never experienced that before. Also, they didnt go above and beyond like other shops tend to do. I had a piece if flaring that was right next to the bumper that they replaced that needed a new piece of double stick tape to keep it from sticking out and they didnt offer to repair. One nice thing is they use text as a form of communication.

Went here to get my 2015 bmw repaired. At first I was skeptical as I havent heard of them before. But I just got my car back and they did an awesome job. Cant even tell that the car had previous damage. They returned it clean on the inside and out as well. They were very professional and went above and beyond to make me feel good about the whole process. They kept me informed as to was going on every day using text messages. And they returned it to me before the promised time. Very happy customer. Hope I dont have to have body work done again, but if I do Ill definitely come back here.

I have just had the experience of using Mackins Gresham Auto Body as the agency chosen to fix my car after an accident. I found that they are not the typical auto shop at all. It was obvious from the very beginning that they truly consider customer service to be their mission. Actually, I would refer to their demonstrated mission as customer CARE! They are unusually communicative, sending emails as they progress with the cars repair, setting goals for date of finishing and doing their best to get it all done in a professional manner with high standards. Every single person who works there that I encountered had this as their work ethic. How refreshing is that??? I give them the highest rating possible and my car looks great and performs perfectly. Dont hesitate to use this shop which has been in existence since 1945.

Not recommend for this shop due to poor customer service! They dont care about small job & told me go somewhere to fix my car and beside I left 3 messages in the morning, finally the guy call back after by end of day with bad attitude. I dont know how good are their repairs skill but being negative lost my trust.

How about call whoever youre on the phone with back and help who ever has walked into your business?The guy proceeds to crack jokes, and talk about random stuff meanwhile Im standing two feet away looking to be helped. What an absolute joke!How does a phone call hold priority over a customer at an auto body shop? Absolutely terrible customer service and I will never recommend this place to anybody

4 stars since it is a bit expensive otherwise great service.Car had couple of back bumper issues and deer damage in the front and passenger side. Team at Mackin Gresham did a great job assessing the damage and fixed it in 2 days with couple of additional complimentary polish jobs on the car body all around. Had to bring it in for a follow up as a small bulb in the replaced headlight burned. They fixed it and did another complimentary polish this time on the driver side headlight which had normal surface wear. They were the highest rated in the area; I can see why. My car looks brand new!
