I’ve gone to the common room 3 times now for haircuts and color and have been highly satisfied! I see Cheyenne and each time I go she gets even better at color. She may be newer but she has an eye for good balayage. She did a stellar job fixing my home self lightening botch.

She made sure we were on the exact same page for hair expectations and goals and absolutely delivered! And as a bonus she has the BEST personality and is extremely friendly and warm! Allison Moncheck is the bee’s knees. She’s always thorough during your first appointment about starting with a consultation if she hasn’t already done that. She’s an educator at heart and answers questions about the ins and outs of hair care. She’s taken me to super blonde to rose gold and will probably take me back to blonde. I trust her with all that processing. She also actually styles your hair before you leave. It isn’t just a blow dry and out the door. She has a pulse on what’s current and what’s classic. If she had an opening, book her.

Ashley James is by far the top stylist and barber in Greenville. I have been one of her clients for almost 3 years and I consistently receive professional and personal service. The Common Room is a modern, relaxed salon with high-end finishes and a chill atmosphere.

I just moved the the area a few months ago and was looking for a good barbershop. At first I found one near my apartment but was very disappointed with the quality so I did some more searching and stumbled upon Ashley James at The Common Room and she gave me one of the best haircut experiences I’ve ever had! Couldn’t recommend this place more. Very good quality for a great price! And scheduling an appointment online is super easy! I will be going back for all my haircuts!

Ashley did an awesome job with my hair! It’s been hard to find someone who can do short cuts on women but she nailed it! She did exactly what I asked for and checked in throughout the process. I’ve found my new stylist and I’d 100% recommend to others. In general, the atmosphere is very pleasant and I was greeted warmly.
