Ive been going to Jamey for the last 6 years and she is the best! Jamey and Chelsea are both awesome and will make you feel right at home. Ive never told Jamey what to do or what I want with my hair-- she just does it and always makes it look great! 10/10 recommend The Open Blade!

Hands down the best barber shop experience Ive had. I cant consider going anywhere else in town now. Jamey not only has a gift for taming wild beards but she makes the whole experience a joy. All the products she uses feel and smell amazing and her witty banter makes for an entertaining hour. I left looking and feeling like a million bucks. A++ this is THE barber shop you are looking for.

Chelsea is the best stylist / barber I’ve ever had cut my hair! I have followed her around to two different barber shops in Greenville and now she has finally opened up her own and I am thrilled to keep coming to her. She pays so much attention to detail and does everything perfectly each time, and is so sweet and friendly to talk to. I highly recommend giving her a try if you haven’t already! Absolutely worth it.

I can’t say enough about Open Blade and Chelsea. She has been cutting my hair for a couple of years now, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Her new place is awesome! Chelsea is an excellent barber always striving for the best and making sure every customer is happy. She provides multiple service options including hair cuts, beard trims, and shaved to make a few. And every haircut includes a complimentary cleanup between cuts.Open Blade is a laid back, comfortable place to relax while you’re in the chair AND while you wait. Chelsea gets to know you and doesn’t forget either! Her hair washing room feels like a relaxing spa. And she always has great music playing while she cuts your hair as you drink your favorite beverage! I can’t wait to see what else she does with the shop as she adds her own personality!

Chelsea did an amazing job. Probably the best haircut and beard trim Ive ever had. Id also never had a straight razor shave and it was great as well. Ive finally found someone to cut my hair that actually knows what theyre doing.

I am so grateful that I met Chelsea a few years ago and have followed her from her previous two barbershops to her own new shop, The Open Blade. There is a reason why I chose to stay with her, no matter what shop she was working in- she is the best. I also consider her a good friend.Her new shop is just perfect. Great location downtown but off main street with plenty of parking. When I walked in, I first noticed the overall aesthetic- lots of plants and greenery and nothing overly masculine. It was warm, clean and stylish. She knows my head by now so of course the haircut was great. It was great to catch up with her and listen to her talk about how passionate she is about opening up her own shop.One of my favorite parts of the experience was the shampoo area. Towards the back of the shop, the area has a bit of a spa vibe and is VERY relaxing and chill. Chelsea spoke about some things she will be adding to his area to set the chill mood even more.Another great thing was the price. I spend less with Chelsea and enjoy my experience more than I do at other barbershops. She even provides complimentary cleanups in between your appointments! There are not a lot of barbers so there are a lot less people in the shop and it just feels a lot more relaxed. I really like that. Its very personable and down to earth but with a first class haircut.If you need a new barber or if you are just in town for a short time and need a walk-in, I highly recommend checking out Chelsea at the Open Blade.
