If I could give this place a zero I would. The property sold and is now under the management of Arlington properties. This place has gone to hell in a hand basket. No maintenance on property no office personnel. And to add the pool has been closed for a almost a month do to maintenance issues and they haven’t gotten it fixed. The dog poop bins have not been cleaned out.
I like the apt itself but am sorely disappointed in the appearance of the property, namely my buildings breezeway and for new charges to my rent.I signed a lease that INCLUDED washer/dryer then after some rent cycles got a bill for rent with it added on, and asked them to remove it and credit for the charges. I have been to the office and sent emails over a period months. The charge is still there. I asked that the breeze way stains be cleaned as this was clean when I moved in. This has been approximately 3 months of asking and waiting with no improvement. I appreciate staff shortages. I also appreciate being happy where I get to call home. I am currently disappointed.
When the apartment complex was under Easlan Management, everything was a paradise. Maintenance and office staff was easy to work with. They supported me all the way when I was on duty during the pandemic, and a program covered part of my rent. Then, Arlington Properties came in around late May- I wish I knew beforehand, and I wouldnt have renewed my lease. It has been nothing but an ordeal. Arlington has served me five days to vacate twice to a first responder that has been on the front line of the pandemic. Even Easlan has made an error applying with payments from the State; it didnt matter. I got the notice. I had to get them to void. Then, I got a second notice the following month even though we had an agreement that no further notices were going to be delivered since a vendor agreement was ready to be signed for checks from the State Comptroller. Are they eager to evict people? By doing this, they are not going to have residents. There is barely office staff (People are shuffling in and out, and there is no permanent staff as of August 10), and the pool has been green for a prolonged period, finally will open later this week (Week of August 9). The complex has deteriorated a bit. For example, the front gates have broken three times. The trash has overrun its can at the car wash and other areas. I cant even read the intercom to enter in code. Its not what I envision of a world-class property.Arlington, you own two other beautiful Greenville properties, and you are failing badly at this.I am not sure if the regional manager and many interim property managers are on the same page regarding getting paid by the State when they just got the vendor ID from Arlington just days ago.Its just a shame what Arlington is doing to its residents. Two Star ⭐️ ⭐️ Review for Arlington Properties and Four Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating for the old property management.I think once permanent staff is in place; I expect the property to become a lot better by leaps and bounds based on Arlingtons other properties in Greenville.Buyer beware for now. Things should hopefully improve within a month or two.(Response to Property Manager- You have 36 emails, including the Area Manager from Birmingham. You are aware of these issues. Your property went ahead to issue a five-day notice even though there is an email from last month assuring the State of South Carolina and myself that there were be no notices issued while we sort out the transition. There was no caught off guard.)UPDATE: The interim property manager (Scott) did contact me and apologize for the shortcomings. He was very cordial on the phone, and he took out late fees plus the notice to vacate, knowing the emails indicate that the issues are being worked on, plus it is what we agreed on last month. Scott deserves a star for stellar customer service, and I hope he will make sure the new management is aware of these concerns; thus, no further issues will arise. There will be a permanent property manager starting on August 23rd, so that is good news. The pool is opening again this week; the property will extend the hours, plus the property might extend the pool season to October or even November, depending on the weather.
One of the nicest place to live...easy access to most of the places in the town
Very beautiful place well made well maintained just a nice place all in general the only thing I didnt like is the highway being so close because of the noise of the trucks
My fiance and I lived at The Vinings for two years and our entire stay was amazing from beginning to end! Our one bedroom apartment was so spacious and the amenities on site were wonderful. The office staff is one of the best weve ever worked with and maintenance is equally great! They host resident gatherings frequently and we actually met some very good friends during our stay there. They are super pet friendly which was perfect for us and our pup. They have a dog park, plenty of space to go on walks, and always had treats in the office when we stopped by. We loved our time at Vinings and would most definitely reccomend it! You wont be disappointed!!
Hello, I’ve lived here at Vinings at Laurel Creek for three years. I have never been at a more well kept and friendlier place in the USA!!! The property managers are very professional and nice to talk to any time. I wouldn’t stay at another property than this one until my house is built. I would and have recommended this property to others! Awesome place to live!
I LOVED living at The Vinings. I met 3 of my best friends living there. My husband and I moved from Myrtle Beach to Greenville in 2016 and I’m so glad Rebekah was so friendly, her positive attitude really made us want to live there. If you have a friendly dog, you’ll meet some of the nicest people. I have recommended living there to many people and will continue to. We left because we wanted to take a new step in our life but we never regret living at The Vinings. If you’re looking for a “family atmosphere”, The Vinings is where you want to live!
Great place to live with an amazing management team. Rebekah, the property manager, does a fantastic job of ensuring all needs are met and exceeded.
Nice and quiet
This is one of the best place in town to live. The community is awesome, its quite and people are friendly. They have pet station all around the complex which made it easier to take my dog for a walk. The staff are helpful specially the property manager, she made our moving so easy and stress free by getting us in the next day after signing the papers. The property has all amenities of a modern apartment complex. A huge pool and a cabana with a big screen TV, they also have a nice lobby and some get together once every 2 weeks. My boyfriend also loves this place because they have a car wash area and the being a gated community is a plus. All the appliances function like new with no problem. I remember the water turning off one day and after calling the on site maintenance he got the water is back with in 30 mins.We only stayed here for 3 months because our work contract ended unexpectedly but again it was well worth it, i recommend this to any young couple of family. The money youll spend here will be well worth it.
Clean, beautiful, and very professional. A great place to live in Greenville SC
UPDATE: I cant run the heat, because my apartment begins to smell like cigarettes when I do. And my laundry room smells like cigarette smoke all the time. Most apartments that allow smoking have entire buildings designated for smokers, but not here. Youll need to spend at least $100 on a quality air purifier if you move here. This isnt something I expected to run into, because...its 2019. And to add insult to injury, when I called the office, the woman I spoke with giggled as she told me there was nothing they could do about it. This is hands down the worst apartment complex Ive ever lived in, including my college apartment. Also, the ratings on here are a little inflated, as Ive noticed that some of the 5-star reviews are by employees of the complex (who dont actually live here).******************************************************************************Ive lived here almost two months and I pretty much hate it. I work from home, so I need quiet (and I was sold on building 1 being incredibly quiet), but this is probably the noisiest place I have ever lived. You generally expect to hear the footsteps of the people above you, but I can hear every move they make. I can hear their dogs paws scratch the kitchen floor and I sometimes it sounds like they are having basketball practice right above my head. Additionally, whereas the steps at my last apartment were concrete, the stairs here are made of wood, and I can hear EVERY person who walks up or down them. Additionally, the valet trash people dont always come when they are supposed to come.I will say though, that one of the good things about this place is that there is plenty of available parking. Youll never have to walk a long distance in the dark to get to your apartment. Also, I do have to give credit where it is due. The maintenance guys here are awesome.I moved to Greenville to start a new job, and I wish I had taken a little more time looking. I can already tell you I wont be renewing my lease here next year.
My husband and I have been living at the Vinings since the summer of 2013 and have no complaints. The staff is really friendly and they really care about the property and the tenants. We have had a few issues with the air unit but as soon as we call it in the maintenance guys come right up to fix it. The issue with the air is normal as we are in a 3rd floor and sometimes the capacity gives out. This issue has only occurred once a year and its fixed within the hour. Our neighbors have been respectful as well, never an issue with anyone in this community. I will recommend the Vinings to anyone!
Great place to stay and friendly neighbors also quiet unfortunately I put my 60 day notice in cause I hate 85 traffic then changed my mind but it was to late. Will miss staying here.
Moving here within the month, applying today! Ive read numerous reviews on how this is not such a great place, and it seems as if the negative commentators havent ever lived in a not so great place. This apartment complex is the only one Ive found in Greenville COUNTY, that has all up to date features, excellent building design, beautiful interiors and awesome amenities for the price. I dare everyone to actually look around Greenville and do some comparing, you would be quite thankful for what Vinings at Laurel Creek does for its community by providing wonderfully luxurious living at an affordable cost. Looking forward to my trip there today!
Luv the apartments the staff is very understandable great place to live🦋🦋🦋🦋
Hello! The Joneses here. We just moved in over the weekend and I couldnt wait to add my review lol the staff is great, the amenities and apartments are beautiful. We have met our next door neighbor and she is super friendly and even renewed her lease! Ive noticed quite a few of small children which is great because we have a little guy, so playdate? Lol were just super excited to be here to enjoy the Greenville area, since we moved from Anderson. I love how were near the highway but still super quiet. Its just an awesome complex! You should give Vinings a try.
Have been a resident here for one year come October. Have been pleased with the quality of my stay. The apartments are nice and surprisingly quiet. People tend to mind their own business and be friendly for the most part here. Only complaint I have is the neighbors aboves small dog. They keep it shut up and it cries and whines for hours at a time. Bad part is that half the time the people are in and just ignore it. Drives me crazy other than that no issues or complaints good place to live would recommend it. The location is nice not too far from anywhere I need to go in Greenville but do Beware of the traffic Rush Hour on Laurens while not as bad as Haywood is still a trying experience
I love this apartment complex! I have lived here for a year and I have no complaints about the complex. The people in the front office, espeically Rebecca and Andrea, have been amazing and are always willing to help me out. I had a little trouble last month when my plans to move out and live with a friend fell through 3 DAYS before I was supposed to move. Rebecca was so helpful and made sure I knew that I could stay instead of moving if I needed to. She knew I didnt want to leave this complex and made me feel important by finding a way to keep me in the Laurel Creek family.I know most people complain about the residents being too nosy but I honestly believe thats part of living in an apartment building. I love the maintenance guys! They are so nice and fix things the next day.I love this place and I plan to stay here for a few more years! Thank you guys for all that you do for us. We appreciate it!!
I lived here for 2.5 years and was very happy. The apartment complex is arguably the nicest in Greenville. What really sets this apartment complex apart is the quality of staff. The ladies at the office are amazing. They really go out of there way to make you feel welcome and at home. The office staff worked with me during a difficult time in my life and I owe them immense thanks. I was busy tending to a difficult life and death health issue and they really were sympathetic and genuinely helpful. I reluctantly moved out after my life circumstances changed and moved me to another town. Thank you VLC! Side note - Best looking office staff in Greenville :)
Great neighbors and pool.
I would not even give this place a star. This place was the worse place I have ever lived. The ladies are really nice to you until u sign the lease. After that they dont care about you all they care about is the money. In my apartment I had black mold in my apartment. The mantiance group came out and clean the mold up one time. After that they gave me the Clorox to clean the mold when it came back.they didnt come back to clean it. I asked them to tell the pest control to spray my apartment. He only came once. HE Sprayed one spot and that was it. People driving. Through parking lot very fast.Me and my pup almost got hit several times just walking . The Mantiance group. Try to charge u extra bc they say u dont clean up after ur dog. I always cleaned up after my dog. But they accuse u so they can charge u more money. I almost got into several car wrecks just backing out of my parking place. I really didnt like it there. It was sad I had to call the cops out their 3 to 4 times a week. My neighbor made so much at 12am to 4am .I had to work the next day. It was a horrible place. They didnt help with the problem. The only thing they did was make it worse. It was sad u work 13 to 14 hours and come home and couldnt relax bc the people on top making so much noise. I didnt feel safe out there at all. The officer that lived there went to the apartment once for the noise . I called just about every day on the girl on top of me.. Rebecca is so full of fake its not cool. When she saw me coming into the office she ran into her office. So I would not speak with her. Poor manger she needs learn more in customer service and before u step up to plate and be a manger. If you want horrible customer service move to Vinings at Laurel Creek. I will never move in ur business again. Eastland mangment is the corporate office. They dont care about u. Just u paying that rent..
Seemed nice, not that clean though.
Nice cozy place
This is the worst place to live. Me and my husband unit had black mold over the walls and windows. The maintance came to clean it once and it came back. They told me if it comes back that we have to buy the bleach and clean it ourselfs.
Neighbors are nice, but thats it.
Biggest cockroaches I have ever seen in the upstate, bring some RAID if you lease here.
Nice apartments
