Ive been living here for just shy of a year now and Ive loved it! The price (and term length) options on your lease is great! I like the quick responsiveness of the staff and they are always friendly to deal with! The neighborhood is nice and quiet and despite being so close to all of the city it offers a great get away and feels secluded. I highly recommend Edgemont to anyone looking for a budget friendly apartment and nice quiet place to reside.

Fairly prompt in responding to requests for help but promises to follow-up that response have not happened on 2 of 2 occasions. They have been great at upgrading the curb appeal of the place as new owners. Have had a difficult time getting my insurance validated. Other than that, I have enjoyed my 6 years living here.

The ladies in the office have been a pleasure to work with! When issues arise, they listen and are genuine in wanting to make sure your concerns are addressed. Only downfall is the pool is not what I expected (chemical levels have not been kept up well). I would love to be able to enjoy it more than I have this summer! Overall, the apartment and the amenities are worth what I currently pay :)

While assigned parking was sometimes an issue to the other residents and their guest it was definitely a plus being that theres already limited parking. Now we are no longer having assigned parking which has its own pros and cons but rent is way to high to have to either now search for parking or park far from your actual building. The amenities they claim to have are always broken (car wash station), no play area for kids, pool always green and closed (they say now is fixed), and no trash pick up which is built into the rent I know it is now under new management but new management took away the one thing I liked which is to always have somewhere to park. Lease renewal cant come fast enough....and I pray for no retaliation because of this review.

Please do not waste your money moving here. Rent is way overpriced. New management promised upgrades but the pool has been closed all summer, the car wash is broken still, no kids play area, the breezeways are filthy. You pay for trash pickup even though they do not pickup your trash! Also pay for pest control but you must ask for pest control to come out (which I’ve done several weeks in a row and they still haven’t come). My sink and toilet have been broke for over a month with no fix still. I have holes in the walls from when I moved in that ants are coming through. They still haven’t fixed that either. Mold under my sink that they claim they sprayed mildew killer. They took away designated parking spots & redid the parking lot which nothing was wrong with. The most awful experience ever!!! Also they are giving free shaved ice for residents that leave a good review. Whatever you do, don’t move here. You will regret it.

I have had a change of ❤ with Edgemont since the new management has acquired the property. Many many changes for the better. I didnt realize that they had to fix so many problems from the previous owners. New painted outside buildings with updated colors new pool chairs updated parking lot is a refreshing change. I appreciate the new representatives in the office for always answering my questions and concerns. I hope to see whats next.

I’m loving the being here, you can’t find a better place for the space and value Edgemont offers. It’s relative quite and I’m loving the improvements. Haven’t met the new maintenance men but I’m sure they will be an added addition to the improvements.

It has been a nightmare ever since I moved here! When I got here last year I moved from Raleigh and had signed the lease and set a date to move in. Upon arrival, I was told they “thought” I was moving in tomorrow even though my lease said the right date. Whether I came this day or the next didn’t matter because the apartment I was supposed to move in to was A WRECK!! The pool is always green. The grill at the pool doesn’t work. The trash is over flowing. Smell of weed all day long. The outside is covered in dirt from when they cleaned the gutters out months ago and just left it. There’s bugs and even though I pay for it every month I have to remind them to send someone out. Take my advice and take your money elsewhere because no one should be paying what they ask because you definitely don’t get your money’s worth!!

I like the apartments, I think the interior is good for the price we pay! Pet friendly community and I’ve never had any problems with the neighbors.My only complaint is pest control. The apartment complex told us we had to specify if we wanted pest control. Ever since the new pest control company started, we’ve had a bug problem which we’ve never had before. They’re mainly palmetto bugs, but I’m not sure if that’s common in the summer time in South Carolina and we’re just unaware because we’re not from around here.

As a resident I am most excited about the buildings being painted. The brown buildings were very dated. So far everyone that I have meet under the new management seem to be knowledge and are always professional.

I’ve been out here for 6 months now and it’s really peaceful. I do wish that the pool was open more and that pest control came out frequently. I’m also dealing with slugs, Rollie pollies, centipedes and millipedes. I also don’t like that homeless people were crashing under our steps and pooping in the breezeway and we had to be on neighborhood watch basically to catch them. I also dislike that we no longer have assigned parking spaces and that the community amenities don’t work. The car wash station and the grill at the pool. Along with the laundry facility that’s supposed to be turned into a gym but there have been no updates on that either.

Rent is way too high for what you get. Apartments are made very cheap, several bugs, maintenance sucks. No trash pick up even though we pay for it. We also pay pest control but if you want your home sprayed you must request it. New management every few months. Office people are rude and they just goes on. For the price, you can find much better apartments. Save your money and time don’t move here!

I love living at Edgemont. The community is so quiet and peaceful. The new office staff have been nothing short of amazing. They are so considerate and polite! Not to mention, Maintenance does a great job at fixing anything we need!!

I finally made it in the office to meet the new office staff and both ladies are professional and joyful. The changes the new company is making are much needed and I look forward to the finish outcome. Big thanks to everyone for making Edgemont a great place to call home.

I have lived at Edgemont for a few months now and love it. i finally got to meet the new management team at the office and they are so kind and responsive! our maintenance has gotten so much better as well. im excited to see all of the change that is coming!!!

New management is constantly making new improvements and updates to the community. Leasing office is quick to respond and help when needed. But the pool closes and opens every other week

The property is beautiful and the amenities are amazing. The staff are all so courteous and extremely help and polite. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Management has changed a couple times but confident the new ppl are here to stay since they are upgrading a lot and the office team said they have several communities in this area that they have had for years.

If you love roaches, spiders, this is the place for you!The bug spray treatment does not work, people are running and jumping all day making noises and shaking the apartment. And I have to stay here for months more after day, already hate it here. 😒

When we moved there 9 years ago it was nice quiet and beautiful. But in 9 years the property has changed hands numerous times and so many management companies I have lost count. In 1 year our rent was increased 100.00 a month and the apartment is so outdated its ridiculous. The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbor easily. Now lets talk about water intrusion and mold. The sun porch leaked so bad they had to tear out the flimsy walls because of mold. Guess what the repair made it worse. The windows leaked so bad and so thin when the wind blows you feel it blowing through out the room. We had one window replaced and its engagement because of termites. The pest control was supposed to eliminate them guess what they came back. Mold is through out the apartment and they did nothing to fix it. The outside storage is useless because of black widows and water intrusion. The maintenance is nonexistent. I had a work order in for 6 months due to my bathtub rusting. Finally maintenance came and told me that I would have to vacate the apartment for days due to the chemicals that they used and I would have to spend my own money on other housing. Oh I about forgot when you or your wife turns on the hair dryer in the master bathroom expect your lights to flicker or go out completely. The heat or air conditioning is nonexistent in the master bedroom. I had to clean my own carpets during my time there because they dont clean them when you renew your lease. My wife just reminded me of the mold in the guest bathroom toilet that keeps coming back no matter how much bleach or chemicals you use.Do yourself a favor and stay away or you will regret it.

Had a BIG issue with a lot of problems! Total domino effect! “Not there fault, but with a company they hired to fix a cosmetic issue”. I went to the front office and was heard and treated like royalty! All issues where addressed promptly and better than I could’ve asked for!

Jessica at the front desk and Doreen her boss are the most insensitive, incompetent, and unwilling to work with people I have ever encountered. So, besides their attitudes, the maintenance is non existent we had to wait 3 months for them to fix the porch light. My mom apparently had to fall for them to fix it. There is a nail sticking out in front of our door and the wheelchair ramp has made neighbors fall. None of that has been fixed in 3 years. My bathroom fan anf laundry door has been broken the entire 3 years as well. You must pay rent by 5pm to avoid fees. There isnt a rent drop box and you can only use 1 account online. If you have roommates this could become an issue. My bathroom faucet has bee broken 3 months, nobody has even bothered to fix it. I put in a a request and nothing. They do not listen will not call before entering, even if u stress to them to call. They only abide by the lease only when it is convinient to them. The maintenance man fell asleep in front of the pool last year and attempted to fondle every part of my body. (I had just given birth) and Jessica had no empathy for it. Apparently, I was just suppose to report it to the cops. Jessica also hung up on me 2 months after my cesarean birth, causing for me to have to walk up to the leasing office last year. She also laughed in my face and told me that she didnt care that I was not renewing my lease and if I had any questions refer to her boss. I did and she waa just as rude. Trash pick up is iffy although they tax us for it every month. This place was great my first year, but Lincoln properties drug this place to the pits as well as the property management before. The people before were just nicer. Im leaving at the end of this month, and GOOD RIDDENS!

Edgemont is a nice quiet community to live in. My bf and I love living here. The office and maintenance staff are so friendly and the manager, Brian, is by far the best manager around.

We have been here for about 3 weeks now and moved from out of state. Michelle in the office was one of the main reasons we came to edgemont. Reason being is all of the other apartment office people I talked to in the area basically hates their job and any question I had felt like it was a burden to them. Michelle was upbeat and excited to help us find a place. The lease paperwork was easy and Michelle came over to help us with that even though she was off work. The complex seems nice and quiet for a family with young kids. I’m impressed.

Dont expect them to get any projects done on time. Been waiting on this parking lot to be finished for about a month and they ask us to park off site when the church wont let us park there and when the back is full as if that is a completely reasonable thing to ask someone to do.

This year was not an amazing experience. The trash compactor was broken for months. The smell and flies it brought around were terrible. The new management refuses to take any responsibility for it. Their response now is, it’s been fixed for three weeks. This is not true and was broken for at least 4 months. In the past, I had 2 amazing years here. The pool was open and not green, in which another excuse was created for this as well, and the trash (which we pay for monthly) was not maintained or emptied regularly. I am so disappointed in the community. It has taken a turn for the worse. They are blaming the old management for everything and it really bothers me. It seems as though this is an excuse they are using to avoid taking responsibility for anything. This hurts my heart. The truth, taking responsibility and promising to correct these mistakes would be a better option than placing blame elsewhere.

We have just signed our lease for another year, but we are starting to strongly regret it! Rent went up, but yet our apartment is so outdated! We would love to have our kitchen updated like we were told it would be, but it hasnt happened. We still have old outdated creme colored appliances, only one of the faucets have been updated in the bathrooms. We do love living here, but would like to have things updated for the amount we pay to stay!The garbage compactor broke, so they brought out a big blue garbage can and they took forever to have it dumped and there were bugs galore, and the smell was terrible. On top of that our pool is shut down! We were able to enjoy about 3 weeks in June and then July 4th and its closed until further notice! The repairs should have been completed during the off season where everyone could enjoy a summer at the pool! It was said they were fixing the tiles, and we saw the pool guy out there, but when we went to the pool on July 4th, nothing had been fixed! Just very dissatisfied and disappointed!!

Maintenance men are awesome! Great location, small and quiet community. But the new company who bought the complex called Village Green are raising everyones rent. They say they are upgrading the apartments but its cheap fake vinyl hardwood and cheap carpet. I love it here but as soon as our lease is up, we are gone!! Shout out to Guy the maintenance man for being not only just a maintenance man but being a friend too. They give my dog a treat every time Im at the dog park!

I love every single peice of my new place. Nice quite and safe located place with helpful staff. I just move in here and this place seems perfect for me. Most urgent Maintaining request is done within 24 hours, plus apt office always replyed with timely manner by email or phone call. I do not hesitate to recommend this place to my friend.

I lived at the Bridges at Pelham earlier this year and loved it!!!! The office staff was very friendly. Jessica and Heidi were always cheerful and available. Maintenance request were handled within 24 hours unless it was an emergency and then it was almost automatic. The neighborhood was quiet and I loved the fireplaces in the apartment. I hated to leave but had to do to work. If I am ever in the Greenville area again, I certainly will go back to the Bridges at Pelham.
