Technicians were polite, competent, helpful and prompt. Window a/c units were loaned to us. Techs pushed cars and brought our trash cans in. Excellent !

A technician called early and said they were on their way. 30 minutes later they arrived and asked us to show them the ac unit. Asked a couple of questions, and then started opening the ac unit. After opening the ac unit, the technician realize that electricity was not being transferred to the unit. Told us to show him the electricity panel and he turned on the switch for the ac. Then said the job was done. Close the unit. And said alright it’s $270 for switching on a switch...He said it is $270 because he “transferred power to the unit by flipping the switch”. I asked him why $270 when the diagnostic fee is like $90 and all he did was a flip of a switch. The technician smugly said, “but you didn’t know to do that”. Overall the worked was at most 5 minutes and charged $270 for a flip of a switch. I don’t know how other company would have charged but one thing I do know is that they won’t be coming back after today.

Contracted through Home Depot to install a replacement water heater. The office staff was friendly and helpful in scheduling and locating the correct unit for my needs. The basic install went fine, but the following day I noticed two small water leaks in the new plumbing. They came out quickly and fixed those. Although I dont fault them too much for this (Im sure they also dont want rework), the tank is at my mothers house in a location she cannot easily access, so if I had not been there to check on it, it would have gone undetected for months.

Jeremy was extremely responsive and professional and got my hot water heater changed out and running in a matter of hours. I had been dealing with another contractor that resulted in my family for being out of water for over 30 days. Even though there was a manufacturer defect during the install with Jeremy, he went above and beyond and came back after hours to diagnose and put in a temporary repair until the new part arrives. My A/C unit was blowing out cool air. My home warranty sent them out to fix my unit. The tech stated that the unit was low on Freon and had to be refillled. He informed me that before he could add the Freon he had to find the leak that was causing my Freon to be low. He stated that he would first have to clean my compressor and that would cost almost $300. The to find the leak would cost over $400. I asked him why did he think I had a leak. He stated because my Freon was low. I informed him that my unit was arnd 12yrs old, had never been refilled, and that could be the reason. He corrected me and stated that it was actually 14yrs old and confirmed my statement BUT the company REQUIRES an inspection before adding Freon. He then tries to tell me to open my dampers would require extensive work which he also backtracked on once I questioned him. He started going all over the place talking about he saw some moisture that could be oil or water but he’s not sure,m. It “could” be a pin hole. Then he said my unit may go up soon bc of age and the heat may not work. I declined everything and called another service provider. He sounded like a professional scammer. If he tampered with my unit I will SUE this company.
They run specials spring and fall and thoroughly check your Hvac and change the filters. You cant get a better bargain for 89.00. The tech is knowledgeable and does not try to sell you parts you do not need.

I really liked my service tech, Earl, and felt like he took the time to not only show me what was wrong with my unit but explain it to me. He also fully explained my options/solutions.My problem came in with the “comfort specialist”. He kept trying to push me to make an $8300 decision while he sat at my kitchen table. I told him I needed to look into how I wanted to pay for things and I’d call him when I’d arranged financing. Less than 24 hours after he had left my house, he had called me twice to push the sale. I get that he’s in sales and likely makes a commission, but it’s a lot of money and I wanted to figure out my best option to pay for a new unit in my time.
Our Salesman Chad was very professional and direct. He gave us several options and price differences. Our installers (whos names I forgot) were courteous, careful, and worked hard with only one short lunch break. This was a 2 day job, and It was done in 2 days. When I had a question that the installers couldnt answer, they made a call right away while still in my home so I would have an answer before they left. They were also very professional. I wold recommend Aire Serv to anyone who needed this type of service.
We were without air in our house and they were able to come and give us a quote the next day and install it on Monday. After being miserable for over a week before calling them, I was pleased that the whole project from start to finish took 5 days. They were knowledgeable and professional throughout the process.
I had my unit installed 2yrs ago. I had problems with it since day one. They have had to come and check on it every summer since. They did not charge me because it was under warranty. I called them today with the SAME problem but now it is not under warranty. Guess what ? Correct !! Now that it is not under warranty they want to charge me to fix the SAME problem. DO NOT trust their technicians they do not know what they are doing.
Aire Serv was contracted by Home Depot to install a Rheem gas hot water heater with expansion tank. The first two Rheem units were damaged when being shipped to the Home Depot store. The third Rheem unit was not damaged, but leaked due to its drain valve not being fully shut. The Aire Serve technician “did what it takes” to react to these problems, and install the gas hot water heater. Despite the shortcomings of Rheem, he was able to overcome many obstacles and complete the installation in a reasonable time. Well done.
My water heater stopped working, so l called Aire Serv, and I was able to get a same day appointment. The service technician Jeremy Scarborough was very professional and did an exceptional job.

My hot water heater went out in the middle of the night. I filled out request for quote forms on 4 websites at 2AM. Aire Serv was the only provider to give me a quote over the phone. I had 6 companies contact me. Only 2 of the remaining 5 would come to my house and quote the job without an upfront fee. Those 2 came out that afternoon after I got home from work and gave me a quote. Aire Serv quote was $550 below the lower of them and $850 below the other. The brand they quoted was aRheem. I booked Aire Serv. The installer arrived the next morning within the appointment window, removed the old unit and installed the new one. He went over the operation of the new unit and asked if I had any questions. Very polite and professional.
Had a tankless hot water heater installed 2 years ago (August 2018) through them. (Only know we have an open permit because another contractor is doing work for us now.) Thought it was odd that inspector didn’t come till 6 months later(2/19). Turns out, permit wasn’t valid till they paid for it in 2/19 and it didn’t pass. Air Serv failed to follow through with the inspector and are saying the county is to blame for not contacting them. The county states in their paperwork it’s the contractors responsibility to obtain information they can call or look online for. Air Serv’s answer is “we typically don’t do that.” and “that’s not our procedure.” Wondering how many other open permits are out there that other homeowners don’t know about?

I have used this company for many years and have always had great service, until now. In fact, I would normally give them 5 stars. My natural gas furnace stopped working. I called the company on a Thursday. They couldn’t schedule an appointment until Saturday. Not great but ok. Saturday morning I get a call from someone there. They say there’s a commercial emergency and could they come in the afternoon. I say ok. At 2:30, I haven’t heard anything. I call, get the answering service, and leave a message. At 3:30, I still haven’t heard anything. I call again and go through the same procedure. At 5:30, someone finally calls me back. They don’t know why I haven’t seen a technician yet. They say they’ll find out and let me know. No return call. I call Monday morning and ask what’s going on. They had no clue that there had been a problem. My appointment was on the schedule though. I let them know of my frustration. They schedule an appointment first thing but don’t offer any discount. I call back to get details to tell my wife, they say the change to Saturday afternoon didn’t go through their system for some reason. They do offer to not charge the service fee, but of course, that fee is waived if you pay for the repair, so it didn’t really cost them anything. I gave 2 stars instead of one because the technician was great as usual. Very professional, explained everything, and fixed it quickly. I will give them another chance, but I will follow up more quickly if there’s even a hint of a problem.
Earl was awesome. He came to tune up my gas furnace in a townhome I just had bought but was also willing to answer my questions about the other gas appliances I had. Ive never had natural gas powered things before and he was very helpful.
The technician was about to leave when we noticed my furnace was off again. He unpacked his tools and cheerfully went back to work and stayed until my service was completely restored. I could not be more pleased.
My technician Jeremy S did an excellent job of explaining the pricing, the parts that would be installed and how the water heater would operate after the installation. He was thorough and efficient in the installation of the unit.
This company was subcontracted by Home Depot to perform the plumbing work to remove and reinstall a toilet during a bathroom floor install. The plumber showed up exactly when he said he would, both at the beginning and at the end of the flooring job. The toilet was reinstalled and is in good working order. I am pleased with the effort.

This company is terrible. Don’t call them if you have an Emergency. Tech was nasty to me on the phone about not buying my unit from them and told me they could possibly get to me in five or so days. Was a customer of theirs for years and changed due to bad customer service. Thought maybe things had changed so called them. Was looking for a new maintenance company but definitively not going back now. Gave them one star because they won’t let me give negative ones or zero.Updated response to Aire Servs response to me: I totally understand that current customers come first and it was a holiday weekend. I was not looking to be bumped to the top of the list or given special treatment. I was just looking for a professional company to (1) ask me what the problem was, (2) perhaps offering me a solution or two and/or (3) letting me know when they could schedule me if a problem still existed. This is the response I got from the other AC companies I called. Like I said, I was a customer of yours for years and left due to rude service I received, even when I was a Maintenance Contract Customer. Was hoping things had changed. It has not.

Had a new AC/heat unit installed at our house. Prompt response and professional service. My energy bills have gone down. Jason and Chad did exceptional work and I recommend this company highly. I could not be happier.
We bought a unit through Home Depot from Aire Serv in 2016. The unit went out the very first winter. We spent at least one night in the cold. The next winter it went out twice spending nights in the cold. This winter it has gone out three times. The second time it went out, they waited a week before anyone came out. They fixed it on a Monday and Tuesday night it went out again. I have small children. Do we displace ourselves from our home every time Aire Servs unit fails us? I want them to fix it. I want a new unit that wont break every single winter. We paid over $7000 for cheap junk. Aire Serv purposefully uses units with cheap parts so they can charge an $89 diagnostic fee you have to pay up front and you also have to pay after they fix something. They charged an additional $78 for flipping the gfci switch and told us it wasnt installed in the correct place. But the unit is still turning off after paying $167. Why have I continued to use Aire Serv? Because I want them to see how many times weve had to call them out after they sold us a bad unit. Theirs another part that needs replace . They tell us the part needs replaced but we would have to pay over $250 in labo . Why would a machine that is less that 3 years old (when this issue was diagnosed) need replaced? Corporate will not return any phone calls. Buyer Beware!

Earlier this year the AC unit was running but not blowing cold air, Called Aire Serv after meeting the manager at a local gas station. Jason came out with his crew and located the problem. Ended up being just the motor, fixed the problem and gave me recommendations and tips on how to keep my unit clean. A+ service and highly recommended.
My air went out on 7/18, I called AIRE SERV and a service tech came out on 7/21. He checked my system and informed me that I had a bad compressor. His advice to me was to replace the entire unit and that he would refer me to a comfort specialist. I was thinking that someone would call me the same day but after several hours waiting, I decided to call them. The lady I talked to pretty much said that they were busy and my situation would be handled in the order that my initial call came in. I waited a few hours the next day and decided that I would call the service tech who initially came out and he told me that someone should have already contacted me. He said that the lady who normally handles their appointments was out on vacation and that he was sorry for the inconvenience. 7/22, A guy named Trent came out to discuss my options. He gave me a lot of info as far as the type of system I would need and how to go about financing it. He was knowledgeable and not overly aggressive about trying to sell me something I didnt really need. Thanks Trent! However, I was disappointed to find out that my install wouldnt be until Monday of the following week. The install took about 8 hours and after two days of use, Im not really sure if Im satisfied with the new system. My level of comfort has always been around 75-76 degrees room temp. My old system set on 76 degrees seemed to hold the room temp consistently. Ive been running the new system at 73 degrees to get 77 degrees room temp during the day. But it does okay at night. Maybe its the price you pay for energy efficiency.
We were told the installation of our new heating and air unit would be a 1 day install. We are only updating the units, not getting all new duct work. There were only 2 technicians sent out the first day (Thursday) and despite saying they would show up by 8-8:30 they showed up at 9. At 7pm that day they told us they would be back first thing in the morning to finish. My husband and I were unable to take off work again seeing as how we had only scheduled one day to be off. So we had to tell them to come back Saturday. The first tech said it would be another couple of hours for them to finish up which would be fine considering they called to say they would be at our home at 8 am. At 8:45 we get a phone call saying they are 30 mins away. As of 2:00 pm on Saturday they are still not even close to being finished. And again they only sent 2 technicians out. They have been lying constantly about the amount of time this job will take and have made us have to cancel plans that we have had for months. Who knows how much longer this install will take. We asked around noon how much longer they would be here and we were told about 2 hours. Cant review how the system works because we havent had air since Thursday. The techs have been very nice and respectful and have been working constantly but apparently it is too much work for only 2 people.
Work was done as promised in a professional manner.
