Marianne has a 4.7 rating....which led me to, along with the reviews, to try her. All the other spots that I looked at going were mad expensive...I mean $25! What the heck are you gonna do to my eyebrows for $25. When I arrived, Marianne did an assessment of my eyebrows. She was able to tell me what side of the bed I slept, and how my eyebrows should be for my face. She knows her stuff! I was very impressed with her knowledge and expertise. She took her time, and told me what I needed to do to help my eyebrow grow. She believes in her motto of looking your best. Marianne’s is a quaint little shop. She definitely earned my confidence and business. This is how you should get your brows done! Thanks Marianne!

I drive from Charlotte to see Marianne. She is the only person I let get anywhere near my eyebrows. My sisters and I have been going to her since we can remember. We all have thick eyebrows that we want to keep that way but look clean. She is the absolute best there is. She is also the kindest soul and always brings a smile to our faces. She is affordable too. We love her!

I came across this nail salon through Google! I called to make sure they were open. I was told I could come at that moment, I arrived and Marianne welcomed me with warm arms. I’ve had issues with finding someone to do my brows the way I want. She did an evaluation of my face and even recommended a product to help regrow my eyebrows from the poor previous waxing jobs. She gave me what I was looking for on my eyebrows! On top of that she squeezed in a pedicure for me, and my toes look great. I will return in about a month for another wax!

My friend and I (both males) went to clean up our eyebrows and enjoyed the experience! Marianne was able to distinguish my sleeping position based on my facial structure. Never have I been serviced by someone as educated and professional. Great prices and even greater work. 100% recommend

I love getting my nails done at Marianne’s! I never have an extensive wait. Marianne and her sister Suzanne always do an excellent job on my nails or toes. They are very professional and friendly. The salon offers every service that you would find it any other salon and they only use top brand polish and the like. This is the only place that I go to get my nails done (or a wax) and I recommend them to all of my friends! I do suggest calling at least an hour ahead as they’re usually pretty busy.

My daughter is 12 and has never had her eyebrows done. They are very knowledgeable and do a great job! Was very pleased

I have been to Mariannes two times now and both visits have been spectacular. Marianne and Suzanne are super friendly and are truly artists. Absolutely the best Nail Salon. My experiences with Marianne and her sister have been professional while making me feel they have a personal interest in me...I cannot say enough good things about these wonderful people. The salon is immaculate and the work they have done on my nails has always been nothing short of miraculous! I am hard on my hands and my feet. Im amazed at their results.

Marianne and her team are amazing! Ive never had a nail and waxing salon experience that was so great. She really knows how to shape your brows to maximize your features. I also love their shellac nail service and the pedicures are amazing. All of the girls are so warm and friendly and the salon environment is first class. You definitely have to try Mariannes Brows. Oh, and the best part - its super affordable! Mariannes Brows is the best kept secret in Greensboro, although not for long because Marianne has such a devoted group of followers.

This was a very relaxing pedicure, my feet feel great the massage about put me to sleep and its a very cozy atmosphere.

I went to get my first eyebrow wax and pedicure done yesterday. This was the first place i visited and Im glad i got such a great experience out of it. The staff was all very nice and sweet to me. They treat me like I was a regular customer. The place is so comforting and relaxing. The staff puts a lot of pride in their work and doesnt rush through it. My eyebrows look AMAZING! Ms. Marianne did a wonderful job. And shout out to the girls (Miss Naomi and Miss Courtney) who did my pedicure.. my feet needed some T.L.C. And the pricing is very affordable. Will be coming again!

I just visited Mariannes Brows today and had such a wonderful experience! I’ve never posted a google review before but I had to this time because I love my eyebrows now! Marianne and her sister Suzanne have such a clean and relaxing shop. It’s very cozy and convinielty located near UNCG, Downtown and A&T. Marianne is very sweet and will give you directions to the shop if you get lost as well. When you go into her waxing studio, she takes her time assessing your brows and the shape of your face to do her work. She even has you stand in a few different places to see how the lighting plays on your face as well. She asks you what kind of shape/style that you’re looking for and she gets started. Marianne’s technique is completely different because applies wax to the strip then to your face instead of applying wax to your face. Plus with her applying the wax to the fabric, she’s able to wax your brows in pieces to make them perfect. I am not joking, I will be back to have my brows done here every single time in the future!

I went with my friend so we could get our nails done and my friend wanted to do her brows as well at around 5 in the afternoon.The pedicure was okay but after that it got worse. The lady that did my nails did an okay job. The lady that did my friend nails was terrible. The place was completely overbooked and the lady that did my friends nails kept leaving to go do things for other people. This resulted in her rushing through my friends nails leaving a sloppy mess. She also forgot to put a top coat on her nails. Then while my friend was drying under the uv light a different lady comes over and puts two layers of top coat on her hands. My friend was angry that her hands were dirty from the polish so she asked them to be cleaned up only to have a different woman put for coats of nail polish on her nails and not clean up the polish that was covering her fingers. We were in that salon for almost three hours and the service was mediocre. The nail techs werent that friendly and the place is overpriced for the quality of work you get. Greensboro has much better nail places than this.

As I did not receive any service, my review is simply on the short experience that I had. I am not from this area and was looking for a salon to receive a spa pedicure and Mariannes was the top in the city. So I look at her website which doesnt state that you should make an appointment or that walk ins arent accepted. So upon my arrival I had difficulty finding the salon and I called and Marianne answered and guided me, I then told her that I needed a pedicure and she told me that I needed to make an appointment. Granted she was very nice, this was unprofessional, she let me know that there are only two workers which is understandable. But there should be something on your website stating that your services are by appointment only, very inconvenient.

The older I get the more I appreciate a great, honest review. Here goes! I am the absolute pickiest person when it comes to mani and pedis which may be why I dread getting them. Not only was my pedi amazing, my lip and brow waxing was the best Ive EVER HAD, and Ive been to upwards of 100 places in my life for waxing, nails etc. Marianne is amazing, great with guests, and the complimentary services made me feel like I was a friend rather than a client. I will most definitely be back for services here!!!!

I went to Mariannes on July 15th at 5pm. It all started when I called to make an appointment for my friend and I. We both needed an acrylic fill in along with Gel polish, which was stated at the time we made the appointment. Her husband failed to notify her of the correct service that we needed which resulted in her bring over booked and cut for time. She suggested that, instead of a fill in, we allow her to remove the polish and paint our nails with 3 coats to give it the illusion of a fill in. She said that she would see if the nails were in good condition, I agreed and notified her that one nail had already came off. We proceeded. On July 18th as I washed dishes, like I normally do, I hit my pinky on the drain and it wasnt in much pain so I checked it out and realized that the acrylic nail and my entire nail bed was ripped off. Due to the lack of security it would have had, if I was granted the fill in like I asked. Marianne said to me that I can skip a fill in every other week and other shops only do the fill in to get money. I feel as if she cut corners to make a buck and save her self some time. She also stated that she has done this before and it has worked for other customers, but not for me. This was very painful and now all of my other nails are lifting and coming off simply because they are over due to be filled in. I do commend her and refunding our money but I would rather have my nail bed and a set of nails that I dont have to be concerned about. I made a mistake of giving Mariannes brows a second chance. I will continue to take me services l will return to T J Nails.
