This place is awful, you can go months with having a faulty eater heater or mold in your unit, and they do nothing. Half the time when the maintenance crew shows up its a different guy everytime and things always go missing after. 0/10 not worth at all here.

I stayed here for two years. In those two years, the pool only opened in the last week of our last month. Tasha, the manager, was the rudest woman I’ve ever had the displeasure to meet. There were three management teams in my time there, and the third team went through 3-4 assistant managers in as many months. There is more goose feces than asphalt. Bugs everywhere (centipedes, cockroaches, spiders, etc.) I don’t know why there were, there used to be a pest service included with rent. And rent?! $900 for a 2 bed/2 bath! Ridiculous. You do not get what you’re paying for. Spend your money elsewhere, go to a better place. Avoid renting here at all costs.

I tried to stay here but after 2 months of staying here some random neighbor high off drugs who wasn’t even on his girlfriends lease tried to stab my husband while he was walking our dog. It looks like a beautiful complex but they should work on watching who they rent to especially for the prices and then they are not good on communication and never want to answer the phone. I figured out I had to pop up at the rent office just to speak with someone.

A week after completing application online, I have not received an update concerning the review/processing of application. I have contacted the office multiple times and I am always told the end of the day or tomorrow. I get notifications when there is a pull of my credit report. I just received the notification a week after application and after my co-applicant stopped by the office. If this is a true representation of customer service quality, maybe its a good thing I havent heard back. They expect someone to come pay $1,000 a month but cant even process paperwork in a timely manner.

This is the absolute worst place I’ve ever lived. The day we moved in it was disgusting! There was bugs in the apartment and the drawers and cabinets still had stuff in them. When they painted they didn’t clean anything before so there was foam linings that were just painted over. It was over a month and multiple maintenance requests before they even came to fix anything. Management is the rudest person to deal. Very quiet community and nice people but everything inside the apartment sucks

Building 109 has very few parking spots in front of building compared to the other buildings. Yet the people in building 111 use all the spots when it’s not even in front of their house forcing people in building 109 to park two buildings away.... and the walls are extremely thin. Other than that, pretty nice place.

Horrible communication and lack of effort and/or care. They are very helpful when trying to get you to sign a lease, but the moment things go wrong...everyone is clueless and helpless.I was set to move in October 2016, walked into the apartment and there were roaches inside the kitchen sink and on the counter. Walked into the master bedroom, opened the closet door and a roach was crawling on the door. Front office staff then choose to inform me that the building had an issue in which they thought pest control had taken care of.In less than 24 hrs I was let out of the lease by the property manager and was told that I would receive a full refund(my security deposit, pro-rated rent and admin fee.)It is now nearing the end of November and I have yet to receive my money back. The front office staff continuously give me the run around with promises to call back and never do. The property manager has yet to return my calls. Ive called corporate and had them email the property manager and still no response or call from her.The balance owed is $1000+They are in no hurry whatsoever to find out where my money is at.I would not recommend this place.

Overall, It’s not that bad. The renovations are nice, but work orders often aren’t addressed in a timely manner. Not very many amenities. Pool hasn’t been open since before I moved in and doesn’t seem to ever be opening.

It started out great, until the complete stove went out and they refused to fix it in a timely matter. I had no over or stove access for about a month. I had to file a BBB complaint since even their headquarters wouldnt respond. As soon as it was filed, I was able to get received a timely response.

Love my actual apt... the neighborhood not so much. Didn’t realize it was a bit ghetto and noisy before I moved in.. Get rid of some of the old tenants from before prices went up and it’ll be a nice place.

Still live here and it is changing at a rapid pace. See the photos of indoor pool ? It is currently being dismantled - will be outdoor only. Action taken without courtesy of notifying tenants other than to issue notice that the clubhouse was being renovated. No kidding ! I did address the loss of the amenity when paying rent - reduce rent ? Response was what I expected - embarrassed laugh with comment will still have outdoor pool. Now that will be fun in the winter....I have had more maintenance issues in last 3 months than Ive had in last 3 years - water heater, electrical problems. Water problem dragged on for a week with 3 days without running water !! At least the electrical was addressed within 3 hours on a Sunday.UPDATE....time to renew and there are more chargers. $5/pest control monthly (when questioned was told this is OUTSIDE pest control only - inside is by special request), $15 monthly pet rent (have had a pet for two years and no pet rent up to now) and trash $10/month. On top of that is water bill - note that the apartments are not individually metered therefore there is a bit of creative accounting. In theory, it should go down now that the water for indoor pool no longer an issue. No pool - no water. All maintenance to revamp work out room, pool and community building still not finished. Can only access work out room when office is open. Too bad if you work = no access !

Management changed after my first year here and it’s been bad since. The pool got demolished a year ago (July 4th weekend)with no notice or reason to tenants and still hasn’t been reopened for no good reason. And it was an indoor year round access which was the only reason I chose this place. They upgrade the small work out room but took away the keypad access so it’s only available during office hours which is when everyone is at work! They don’t include anything as part of an amenity so they don’t have to answer to the people who essentially are the ones putting the money in their payroll. Pricing is not fair for how little you get. They couldn’t care less about the people who make this place their home unlike the prior office manager who went out of her way to keep the tenants happy. Find another place to live, there are way better options out there. 6/17/19 status update since you can no longer post a review because they’re all so bad; so still no pool this makes 3rd summer without it, dog park waste bin has been overflowing for weeks, manageable has changed yet again in the past year which makes 3 times now since I’ve been here. The amenities listed on the website are a joke! A lakeside gazebo?!? It’s run down and covered in goose poop. Car wash center?!? Hardly! New management with no good changes. Can’t wait for my lease to end. Don’t believe their lie that the pool will open as soon as inspections are done, they’ve been using that excuse over 2 years!! Just keep on driving past this $&@!hole! Not worth the money.

All I can say about this is that I was thankful that I had a bottom corner unit! The apartment proved to have many many problems over the years including the miniblinds falling down all the time and the bi-fold closet door breaking all the time, but maintenance came quickly for most. The GEESE....everywhere. More importantly goose poop everywhere. If you expect to move in with a child who wants to play in the grass, just forget it. They even tried to relocate the geese, who all came back with more of their friends. The staff could use a better attitude and it would be nice if they hadnt smelled like cigarettes every time I went to the office, however if you pay your rent and never cause trouble, there are no other issues with them. The biggest issue was the company who runs this complex. As I said-I paid my rent, caused no trouble, was quiet, friendly with neighbors, gave my move out notice at an appropriate time and even had the handyman and office staff confirm that the apartment looked great when I moved and that I would definitely receive my security deposit. After 4 months I started calling them and calling their headquarters. By the end of 6 months I had filed a BBB report against them after being hung up on numerous times by the receptionist at headquarters. Only then did I receive my money a month later.

WELLLLLL, I first moved here in 2015, thought it was nice, but with management changing a million times and things changing it is not a pleasure experience. the people in the leasing office Change at least once a year since I been here. I resigned my lease for 2019 but in the matter of days I found out I had to move back home for personal reason. The lease hasn’t even started, and you know what they told me. If I don’t stay, I will get a EVICTION! I’m not even going to be here when the new lease starts smh. I went around to other apartments around the area, and got their take on the situation. They all pretty much told me they don’t HAVE to EVICT me because the lease hasn’t even started. Smh I can’t help this unfortunate situation I have to deal with right now. if I leaved in any of those other apartments around the same area, they told me that was quite ridiculous to call for a eviction. I could pay off the cost but a eviction!! That’s uncall for. considering the fact I’m going to be out before the lease start and I gave them as at least 30 days in advance. But if they do evict me, I’ll just fight it in court but I think thats completely ridiculous. I would NOT recommend this apartment. I’ve been here too long and seen too much stuff. Everything is unorganized . I would think considering the fact I have been a long standing resident since 2015, they could cut me a little slack, but business is business. Def not worth what they charge. I see people moving in but I don’t understand their reviews are two stars. But I wish them well in all they do and hopefully things can get better. They had issueswith water bills at one point. My water bill got up to 100 dollars and they said it was no leaks, it took them a year to realize the meter was broke. I’m just naming a few trust me I can go on forever. In so many words DONT COME HERE it’s not worth it. THANK YOU. THANK GOD IM LEAVING!!

I am down right disgusted right now ! I was approved for an appartmen as of 05/21/2019 after a few adjustment that was needed on my application.I went today as of 05/23/2019 to pay my 199.00 deposit and was shocked to find they had canceled my application...I asked why? The nice young man stated because I didnt pay the initial deposit of $881.00 ...I explained to him Id been working with Tiffany throughout the week with updating my income and she jus gave me the OK Tuesday to come pay the new deposit amount of 199.00....Heres where it went WRONG the you man tried asking someone in the back ground whom identified herself as the manager..she was so rude and disrespectful! I could hear her talking junk in the background...and rudely barked that I could reapply and see if I get approved...she act as if she didnt want to half help the poor guy that was trying to help me! The poor guy did say he would refund my Admin-fee in 30 days of 100.00 but boy oh boy Im so happy I didnt go with this place if I ever had to deal with that rude manager! I do appreciate the help that Tiffany assisted me with...she was a true delight! That manger should take a few classes in customer services...I would never recommend this place !

Horrible experience dealing with this community. Id advise anyone even considering moving to this neighborhood to take your money elsewhere. Was told on Oct 1st they would have a place ready for me by the end of the month, Oct 29th. Gave them my deposit. After the full deposit was received, they pushed our move-in to Oct. 30th, that day they told us there was a leak and they were waiting on a contractor and inspector. Was told it could be a week or two. Waited a week called them back and was told were on the schedule but we just dont know when. So we decided we no longer wanted to deal with this sketchy place, called on Nov. 6th to request a refund of our deposit. As of today, we still have not signed a lease nor has our deposit been returned. Called corporate to get to the bottom of this, was bounced around from person to person, even given a couple of disconnected numbers to what I was told were to the regional manager. Still no resolution. Dont let the kindness of management fool you.

Good and safe place to live, friendly people from all backgrounds, 15 minutes away from everything, very close stores and restaurants all around. That being said, property owners constantly changes hands along with office management, and they have a high turnover of maintenance staff. However the management has always been friendly and understanding. Depending on what building you live in, you may have bugs that come in from the woods or appliance problems. Also, there are ALOT of geese. Walking on the sidewalk and parking lot is like playing the floor is lava.tl;dr: Safe and great place to live, but wouldnt stay too long.

It all started in 2015. I thought the apartment was great. I loved the lake and the apartment that was shown was very nice. I was immediately sold. For the first year everything was good. The maintenance was usually prompt and I had no issues, I started in the studio apartment, I only had one incident when my air condition would not cool properly, i had to call maintenance MULTIPLE times about it and it was really never fixed, I decided to upgrade to the two bedroom apartment. That is when things seems to go down hill. I should have known to move once they half ass fixed my air condition in the studio but I let it slide. Management began to change and maintenance began to be slack. I had to contact them many times regarding the air condition on the new two bedroom apartment, it was cooling but water was leaking under the carpet they came multiple times before it was actually fixed. Along with couple other issues. The only downfall is nothing is included in the rent. 765 dollars for a nice size two bedroom is not bad until you realize that NOTHING is included. So you have to pay your rent of course, your water, sewer, gas for heat and water, and also your electric, and if you want to add cable and internet all of that really adds up. My water bill gets higher every month and I try to use it as less as possible. I feel as if SOMETHING needs to be included in the rent. The apartments are nice but not that nice. Now they have decided to change the rental rates from my 765 dollars to 896 dollars. That is ridiculous. The prices has changed because they are going to renovate the apartments. I could go down the street and spend 860 for a NICER two bedroom that was just recently build a couple years ago, Wendover on Meadowood. My lease ends in June and I will not be renewing, I dont care about renovation, The appliance etc are not bad they are already nice enough for average standards. I am considering Lakes Edge, which is right across the street, or Century Oaks. Lakes Edge has wayyy cheaper and they have at least water and sewer and trash removal included. Century Oaks has cable and internet included. You have to have something included if the rent is going to be this high! I feel like the only way I would even consider staying is if the apartment price was not going to go up an extra 131 dollars. No thank you. This apartment was build in the 1987. They are really reaching. But on a good note the staff is really nice and the neighborhood nice, I feel pretty safe. I stay on the first floor and I dont feel unsafe at all. I enjoy the community I just believe it is overpriced, I say turn down the prices and include something!!!! Many of my neighbors are considering to leave because the rent is just over priced. The End.

WE DIDNT GET TO MOVE IN. After being quoted a move in date and spending all the money for a moving company the Lakes tell us that Oh the people in your apartment arent ready to move out. I know things happen and deal my fall through, but they couldnt even give us a date. When we kept asking about a day they said Um maybe the 3rd week in September, we dont know. Hell we were told in the BEGINING of JUNE we would have an apartment and now we dont. We would have never filled out an application at this place if there wasnt going to be an apartment and now you keep moving our move in date and go so far as to not be able to give us one? That is unacceptable, the refused us any compensation for having these complications and not being able to get our money back from the moving company (Their contract was non refundable) AND THEY REFUSED TO GIVE OUR APPLICATION FEE BACK. They stole $60 from us and are refusing to give it back and NOWHERE does it say this is non-refundable in any of the papers we had. When talking to the manager Kim she threatened to call the police after I demanded my money back saying I was threatening her...yet there were no threats being made. Even if there was another apartment open I wouldnt even consider it.
