Took my industrial sewing machine in for repair, they were very responsive and went right to work on it. I am very happy with the time and price. Will definitely be using them for all my sewing and vac needs in the future.

Yikes. Brought my brand new sewing machine in for an issue. Never got it back. Apparently they disposed of it. I received zero calls/messages/communication regarding the repair or the fact they were just going to throw it out after 90 days. When I just spoke to Joe, questioning why I hadnt gotten my machine back, he told me to never call there again. I get that they cant store items forever, but better communication couldve easily fixed this situation (they said they called me several times, however when I reached out to them on several occasions they had no information, so Im not sure I believe that and Ive heard from several other people that they have lost their items as well). Im really disappointed. More in the rudeness and complete couldnt care less attitude than anything . You could at least pretend to be sorry that you threw out my property.

Extremely knowledgeable, before we came to them we went through 3 vacuums in 3 years. This time we decided we wanted to spend a little more than we did in the past and boy did we get an excellent deal. I looked at the cost of a Riccar online and it’s so much more than what we paid at Perry’s! Plus their customer service is the best! They listened to our needs and helped us find the right vacuum for our household. We have had our Riccar for 2 years and it runs like it did the day we bought it! We need a pet cleaner next and will definitely go through them!
Super fast and super nice! For as quick as they fixed our vacuum, I didn’t know if I should be happy or discouraged on the price...but way cheaper than new Vacuum and thrilled to support a local business.

Just picked up our vacuum after deciding to go the repair vs. replacement route and WOW. So impressed! It works better than when I purchased it 2 years ago. Cant thank them enough. Highly recommended this local business. I even got it back totally cleaned inside and out. They went above and beyond to impress.
Had what I needed & good advice.
They were supposed to see if they can enhance my vacuum. However it was too old and no parts so I was going to get it back but they cant find it but conveniently have vacuums for $150-209 I could buy. They have said someone is going to call me and never do. So disappointed I need to clean my house and cant because Perrys stole my old vacuum!!!!!Do not go there seems like a scam and no wonder why they have been in business so many years when they steal customers vacuums!!
Very disappointed..... Wanted a cleaning and needed a new part for my vacuum. They had it for two weeks and nothing had been done. They gave me a loaner vacuum and it did not work well also smelled like it was burning and left a black mark on my white rug. When I came to try and work things out the lady there was extremely rude and just said good luck finding somewhere else to go. Im really shocked at this kind of below the belt customer service. Sad.
Poor customer service! Took my peddle to my seger sewing machine in to see if that was the problem to why my serger wasnt working. They tested it said it was working didnt ask me what the machine was doing or anything! Handed it back to me. Took the peddle somewhere else to get tested and it wasnt working!!!
Normally these guys are the best, pointed me to a great vacuum that has lasted years and they are the only ones I will let service my very old singer sewing machine. Unfortunately this last time they failed to return my calls regarding when it would be completed. They have now had it for over two weeks! I called again today and finally got a person on the line, it seems the machine has been done for some time now. It only took a day fix and apparently someone just forgot to call. This is the first time this has happened so I will still give them four out of five. Ive been a customer for over ten years, and need to bring my machine in every 18-20 months along with any vacuum issues, so not bad for that amount of time.
We bought an excellent Riccar commercial vacuum cleaner at Joes suggestion. We vacuum 10 guest rooms and hallways everyday... we thought the cleaner would be too light... but in fact its fantastic. Thanks Perrys Vac & Sew for great service!
Took really good care of me .. bought bags & belts then found out my motor was bad on Hoover.. w a smile took them back but after trying vacs from Wal-Mart bought one here made in USA .. way better vacs & learned most names like Hoover, Bissell, dirt devil & others r owned & made in China so beware.. they do NOT have the same suction anymore but this store was great showed & had plenty to choose from

After a horrible experience with an employee, Joe Perry made things right with me so I am changing my review from a 1 star to 4 star. I am still a bit skeptical of some things but I will continue my business simply because if Joes quick response to me and his willingness to make things right.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have been a long-time customer for 16 years. The repair/maintenance service has fallen over last 5 years from very good to mediocre. Customer service has fallen from satisfactory to poor. Perrys has a 30-day pick-up policy and clock starts ticking on day service is done. Policy says pick up in 30 days or Perrys disposes/sells vacuum cleaner. Dropped a clogged Dyson for repair on September 23 and Perrys ordered filter. Filter arrived 3 weeks later and Perrys called me on October 12 and said repair done. On November 10th I came to pick up vacuum cleaner & waited 25 minutes while employees searched store. Found my vacuum cleaner on showroom floor marked for sale as of November 9 -it had been 28 days since call that service finished -not 30! Perrys did not follow own policy and offered no compensation for such mismanagement and inconvenience. I was told to pay the full $155.58 for routine service + hepa filter, which I did. WOW, as a customer for 16 years who has referred lots of new neighbors + family members to Perrys over those 16 years, I received poor customer service. Hope this doesnt happen to you!
