I dont love it, not really, because of this sour, mean woman whom I think is intended to assist people. She dished the obligatory eyerolls and indignant gasps.That said, I believe in the principal of the effort. So have 5 stars. I wont ask again. Ever, getting the fortitude to approach is most difficult. But the look of repulsion is more than enough for me to KNOW the help there was NEVER with a guy like me comprising that demographic she wants to help.

A place for Low Income Families to get some resources for help.Got resources for help to get us where we need. Only issue is its very very long process to get through. Sometimes its easier to go elsewhere for same help...

I cannot even begin to say how incredibly grateful my family and myself are to this company. The most understanding, helpful, amazing, employees who deserve way more than 5 stars. After an illegal eviction that put two children, my pregnant wife and myself out on the streets with nothing we had no one but each other. Being forced to pay for motels night after night just to keep our children safe got expensive real fast. With no where else to turn I found out about Opportunities. The same day I went in we received the most welcomed help we never thought possible. We worked together with Cherie and I personally know I will never be able to repay her for her help. She went out of her way and way over what we thought was going to happen. I cried in her office when she personally called me and told me to come in cuz she got us help. Cherie your amazing and a million thank yous would never be enough. I hope you know your my hero. I can sleep peaceful tonight knowing I dont have to worry whats going to come tomorrow. The biggest burden was takin off my shoulders and i will continue to be in your debt. Thank you so very much from my family and myself. Thank you Opportunities you guys are the absolute best. After almost a month of running around the entire State of Montana to get all the paperwork and whatnot they required for rent help; including an application to be filled out by our landlord in Missoula (they would not accept a copy nor a fax, original handwritten only, twice), a bank statement from Helena, applying for a Social Security card, giving them our rental agreement and all our personal information, asking a previous employer to sign a paper saying I had not been paid, and writing lengthy statements about struggles with mental illness, suicidal ideation, debilitating anxiety, and our abusive household (who was directly responsible in losing the job), we were denied. Apparently there wasn’t enough documentation of our emergency. A total income of $192 in food stamps, being the only income we’ve had in since August is enough to say we’ll be fine. We received an eviction notice the day we were denied.Moral of this story is that I would personally like to thank this resource center for making myself and my fiancé homeless in our time of need. I have thankfully found a job in Helena, but now I have nowhere to live and no money to find somewhere to live until at least three paychecks in as what little we had went into gas. At least we still have our vehicle I guess, but for how long?
