I’ve been coming to Sue’s Nails for years. The kindness the staff has shown me over the years is beyond what I’ve seen anywhere else. Not only are the services excellent but the friendships I’ve made with the staff are priceless. You receive quality services for a great price and you get to spend time with a staff that feels more like a family. I recommend Sue’s to everyone I meet but if you stumble upon this definitely give them the opportunity to WOW you.

Kayla got me all the way together! Finding a consistent nail tech here in GR has been hard! I moved here and heard of Kayla and I am so satisfied with the results. I will definitely be back! I scheduled ahead of time, sat in my seat right away and was done in 1 hour. I paid $60 and am leaving very happy! Thankyou so much Kayla!!!

I came in to treat myself for my birthday and let me tell you I was not disappointed. I absolutely loved my nails. Tony was my nail tech and he knows what he is doing. Will be coming back and getting the full works soon.

Love the glow in the dark polish they have currently. Ive been visiting this location frequently because of the various color options they carry. They also have a points reward system. Who wouldnt want to earn a free pedicure?! They have Kayla, she does great service with both nails and eyebrows. They have lots of ther techs that can create great designs, custom shape your nails according to your finger and desired length. They offer appointments and walk ins. I enjoy visiting here regularly. They give you complimentary messages whether on your feet or hands depending on your service. Great place to wind day and relax.

Kayla did my nails and I was more than pleased. There is not enough good things I can say about her. Shes fast but good and Ive gotten so many compliments. She also did my eyebrows and I will continue to go back there!! Also I think out of all the places I have went they were the cleanest and they treat you like family💙💛

I had a pretty good experience. It did hurt a bit when my cuticles were being done. However, the place was clean and nice, and I received great customer service from everyone.

This is my go to nail salon ALWAYS. I commute back and forth between NYC and GR and I will always choose this place. Tony does an INCREDIBLE job with tips and dip. The rest of the staff are incredible as well.This is after one of my nails was a little loose I went in for a fix and Tony gave me full out Christmas glam!

I had been going to Sue’s for a few months. Had a few really great experiences for dipped nails.I recently went to have my dip removed since the handful of events I had my nails done for were over and I was ready to just have my normal nails back.When I went in for my appointment they were really backed up. I waited about 30 extra mins which wasn’t a huge deal— annoying but I totally understand.When I finally was seated with a technician that’s when it got weird... Something that should have been a 10 minute process turned into almost 40 minutes. The tech that was doing my nails kept leaving to help other techs... I was frustrated, but again- I’m pretty patient and understanding. I sat with foils on my nails for another 15 mins waiting. At one point I was starting to just remove the foils and was planning on getting the rest of the dip off at home. She comes back as I’m starting to remove my own foils and helps finish. There were a few points where she drilled the tips of my nails too much and it ended up hurting- like really hurting— like the tops of my natural nails are still tender a day later.The absolute worst part though was under one of the dip powdered nails was fungus... I’ve never in my life have had a problem with that so it really threw me off. She had me go wash my hands while she grabbed some drops to put on my nail. I came back and one of the other techs saw the drops out and made a comment - they both made a “eww gross” face so even though I wasn’t sure what was said I could tell it was about my fungus nail... I was almost breaking out in hives because I felt so awful.I left feeling really, really embarrassed and with nails that hurt from the drilling. I actually cried once I was back in my car because the experience was so awful. ☹️It made me not want to get my nails done ever again and definitely try a new salon if I ever have the courage to attempt to.

I have already fixed the major issues myself, but THANK YOU for the offer. **Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices. My nail tech was very nice, but she was either very new and unpracticed or lacks complete attention to detail. The edges had considerable overlap and the finish was lumpy and uneven. Attached photos are from immediately following service. I wouldnt not recommend them, but I would caution patrons to be aware.

I usually have a great experience here. Let me tell you...not today. The water overflowed and filled my shoes. The machine kept falling apart on me. The bag got sucked up in it. The drain didn’t work. I didn’t even get a massage or a drop of lotion or hot towel. I basically got my toes painted. I had to walk across to shoe carnival afterward to buy new pair of shoes bc there was no way I was going to lunch with soaked shoes and socks. Then...they wanted to charge me!!! I had to tell them I was not paying for that experience.

They always do an excellent pedicure. I like that they require an appointment ahead of time. No waiting. This time I got a regular manicure too. They are fast, always are attentive, pedicure is always done to perfection.

I was not impressed with the final outcome of my nails. Upon arrival, it wasnt clear at first what they wanted me to do. Once it was clear, and I completed what I needed to do, I was seared and chose a color only to find out that they didnt have it. The gal who did my pedicure, she did a good job. Unfortunately, after she was done, she told me to wait 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes was done she sprayed them and had me wait another 5 minutes, sprayed again then handed my my socks and shoes and said I was ready. I was not! My nails were ruined and I was charge $30 for a pedicure.

Ive been going to Saras Nails for a few years, and normally they have quality service. Recently they changed names to Sues Nails. My visit today was a huge disappointment. They did my manicure while I sat in the pedicure chair. They barely worked on my cuticles and the nails were filed completely unevenly. The nail polish is already coming off and its only been a few hours. I think this is because they used shellac polish instead of normal nail polish. Needless to say I will not continue to use their services if this is the professional level of care I receive.

I made an appointment for my friend and I for 5:30 for nails and pedicure, they called me a day before to ask if we could come earlier at 5, I said sure no problem, when we arrived at 4:59 my friend was sat immediately with her person of choice and I sat and waited until 5:36 until I was seated, it was ridiculous and so unprofessional. I have never been treated like that at a nail salon, especially one where I made an appointment. I ended up leaving since my friend was almost done with her full set nails.

Its very clean, and the techs here are great. But I gave it three stars because I believe the process can go a little faster if the techs would focus more on there clients then a conversation with there worker. Its happen to me twice already. A fill in and color no design, should not take hour and half. But other then that its a great place!

Ive been going to Saras Nail & Day Spa for a couple of years now. I love it because, even if I dont have an appointment, I never have to wait very long to get in a chair and get taken care of. The owner doesnt do the direct service, so shes facilitating everything and making sure everyones needs are met....I like that approach instead of trying to run the place and do services while being distracted with running a business. The techs are highly skilled and the staff turnover seems low. They just moved two doors down from their previous location to a bigger and more beautiful space. I rarely have any problems with my nails. I never have to go back in a week to get a nail fixed because it peeled or chipped, maybe once...but thats it. Their work is quality.

Amazing staff and great services

I love this place! I have gone to so many salons in GR and this is the one that keeps me coming back. The salon is spacious, well designed, and very clean. The staff is amazing and so nice! Everyone is professional and accommodating, plus a few are very entertaining and fun to talk to. I personally only go to Kayla now. She has given me a shape I absolutely love and my dip lasts a month when she does it. Can’t boast my love for Sara’s enough!

I won’t be going here again. I’ve gotten my nails done for 10+ years consistently at many different places around GR. I have never come across a more rude nail tech than the one I had here. First he grabbed the wrong color for me which I let go because I did change colors and told him when he was busy talking to a co worker. So then I tell him what color I want and he again grabbed the wrong color for me. After him putting the color on my nails I expressed to him that it does not look anything like the color swatch that I chose. I chose a more neutral color and this was bright pink. Big difference. He said once the light for the shellac hits it, it will change the color. I didn’t say anything but I’ve gotten my nails done with shellac every time and it never changes the color. I then told him I didn’t like the color and he got mad at me, threw a fit and embarrassed me in front of everyone telling me that there’s nothing he can do because he already put it under the light. Also not true. He could have fixed it and gotten a different one. So then he says very rudely well what do you want me to do? After you’re rude to me and you embarrass me like that - I don’t want you to do anything but get me out of your place please. He then told me if I want to argue I can go home, got up and just left me there. So at that point I said just keep the color and just get me wrapped up so I can get out of here. The guy who finished my nails was extremely nice and I felt sorry that he was put in an awkward position. My nails were rushed and have imperfections already and I just got them done. I’m just very disappointed in this place. I’ll drive the extra 30 minutes each way to go to a different place from now on.

Great place! The prices are reasonable, theyre well staffed, and the place is very clean! The staff is also very kind, and take their time making sure everything looks good! Just make sure to keep in mind; some of their polish colors dont match up well with the display, so keep in mind the colors may vary!

Sara made sure to get me in to get my nail fixed that I broke at no extra charge! I usually see Jay for my nails and he is great! I saw a different tech this time but she was really nice and did a good job too! I’ve always had a good experience here! I would recommend to anyone!

I went to the new location in Knapps Crossing because it was closer to my house. I will never go back! I wanted a basic dip manicure and a pedicure. $100 later I have a manicure that is chipping off less than 1 week later. I had three different people working on my Mani because the owner kept shuffling the workers around. I have gotten much better service and quality from other places and wont go back.

Amazing spot. Kayla, Henry, and Jay are all awesome (those are just the techs I have experienced!) really great at nail shaping (I always get stiletto, almond, and just experimented with coffin!!!) highly recommend. I’m a cosmetologist so it was really hard to find a place I actually liked.

Ive visited here twice in the past, because of the convenience that its on my way home from work... but let me tell you! I should have went with my gut instinct of NOT coming here again, based on my 2nd experience! Well with todays experience, I am definitely..NOT EVER coming back to spend my hard earned money here! The older woman(owner/manager) is the RUDEST! I walked in for a shellac manicure. I started picking out a color, when this woman had already called the nail tech to take me back. I asked the tech to please hold on to let me choose a nail color. As I was looking, I heard another customer mumble geesh lady, can I take my time to choose a color I literally had not been in for longer than 5 minutes; when this woman comes up to me and says, if you want shellac, pick the long ones, the short are dip She goes on to grab 2 polish samples and hands them to me and says Go, go, sit as she is gesturing her hands to go. I felt totally disrespected!!! I proceeded to tell this woman that I was not ready, and I felt rushed. Her, I assume daughter (younger, but looks just like the older woman) jumps in to say.. shes not rushing you... you can come back and look at the polishes after she removes your polish. Where in the statement from this woman does it sound like this is the option she gave me? This woman hand gestured as if she was swooshing a pest away!So, if you want to take your time while pampering yourself, and be treated with respect while at it.... This is NOT the place!!

Have been a client now for almost 2 yrs. Have been treated very well each time I go in. Kristine is my go to girl, although I have been seen by many of the staff they are all good. I would recommend the dip powder to anyone. Last a ling time, no chips and many colors to choose from. Very welcoming and charming.

This is a great place for a walk in visit. The ceilings are high, and the atmosphere is calm. It was my first visit in today - I got a shellac manicure and it looks pretty shabby around the cuticles. The technician I worked with cut one of the nails much shorter than the rest. We will see how long it lasts!Regardless, still a good experience

Been here to get my nails done at Saras many times, each time with dip. They did a fantastic job with dip powder, but when I went the other day to get regular polish, less than 24 hours later, there were bubbles and chips all over my nails. This was after I had asked for a few to be corrected.

I am completely disgusted with HOW RUDE & disrespectful the owner of this salon is. She does not take into consideration the years her loyal customers have been to her business. I’ve witnessed a few incidents on how rude she can be, today I personally experience it for myself, The guy working on my feet was nice but very rough I do not think it was intentionally by any means. I expressed the fact he was hurting my foot which I had previously sprained a few months ago and still heeling, he proceeded by apologizing, as he continued to get the dead skin from around the toenail area he accidentally cut me, he immediately apologized, the owner walked by began to yell in front of the entire salon asking what the problem was asking what he had did wrong, I told her he cut some of my skin but was okay she continued by yelling stating “he didn’t make you bleed, he didn’t hurt you, so do not complain” basically telling me I wasn’t entitled to address him if was being too rough or hurting me, I calmly told her she needed to relax and watch how she spoke to me not to mention I was there treated my 11 year old for her birthday, my daughter’s eyes watered up as the owner sat there pointing her finger screaming and yelling not only at me but the tech working on my feet, the guy admitted to the owner he had indeed cut me but had apologized which I agreed and made clear it was ok and there was no need for her to be speaking to neither one of us the way she was, she continued by telling me after today’s service I would not be allowed back into her salon for whatever personal reasons she didn’t express, I told her that was perfectly fine that I would stop services now I told her I did not need to finish our pedicures if this is how she was going to treat me after all the years of coming to her salon.. As I was getting up the lady sitting next to me getting her nails done looks over at me and my daughter and says “after today I won’t be back, that was very rude and uncalled for you did nothing wrong” that right there said a whole lot to me, the owner does not realize her surroundings and how badly she is making her business look by her actions if it weren’t for her kind staff her I don’t believe her business would be running for how long as it has.. she is beyond rude I will not recommend no one to Sarah nails and going forward when asked about their services I will happily tell them find another salon.

Beware! Owner is extremely rude to her staff and customers. I went to Saras (previous name before it changed to Sues) for 8 years and witnessed dozens of incidents where Sue yelled (yes, yelled) at customers or nail techs. My nails also started chipping easily - even with dip or shellac, so I finally decided to take my business elsewhere.

Visited Saras Nails yesterday, and it was the best shellac manicure I have ever received. Not only was Tracy super nice, she was very precise and made sure that my nails looked great! It was such a great feeling knowing that she was doing everything she could to ensure that I was 100% satisfied with my nails. I am not from the GR area, but I would happily drive the 30 minutes to return to Saras Nails again. So very pleased, and would highly recommend!

This is my favorite place to get my nails done! Ask for Kristine, Damon, or Chloe they’re my all time favorites! Place is very clean and staff is always nice to talk to. I get the dip powder and it can last me over a month before I need to get them redone. They have a nice selection of colors to choose from in whatever you get done.

Knapps corner location:I got a pedicure, it was super fast and the attention spent on one foot was a lot more than the other. Im not sure about everyone else but, I get a pedicure more for the relaxation of it than having a pretty color on my toes. It was also one of the most expensive basic pedis Ive ever gotten. I was only there for about 50 minutes and 20 was spent under the nail dryer.They dont use a base coat which I found strange but every place has their way of doing things. My polish started chipping within a couple days though, maybe its time to bring back the base coat?The new location is pretty but I wasnt impressed by much else.

I went to this salon today on a whim and wish I hadn’t...the salon itself seemed very unorganized and chaotic. An older woman started my manicure process, which included removal of old dip powder. She used a very harsh metal drill bit to start removing the powder and ended up nicking my cuticles and fingers with the bit because she seemed unfamiliar with how to use it properly. I then began soaking the rest of the dip powder in acetone like normal. I waited quite awhile while she left to attend to other clients. While I was waiting 3 other employees came up and asked what service I was getting. Finally another employee took me to her station to finish the manicure. She was also quite harsh during the filing and grooming process. Overall I was happy with the end result but getting there wasn’t exactly relaxing.

Unfortunately I had to quit going to this place due to the fact that they have no respect for people who make appointments. I have been a valued customer for awhile and I was consistently waiting way past my appointment time as if I wanted to sit in a salon for 3 hours to get a dip done.

I went to Saras Nails on Friday and had a wonderful experience! I am always hesitant to try new nail salons but now I have one that I will keep coming back to. The staff was so friendly and it was the best shellac manicure I have ever had! I cant wait to come back!

I have gone to this nail salon multiple times...Kayla and Tu are great but the guy I had today did an awful dip job on my nails! He was so rough that my nails still hurt! When he sat me down he wouldn’t even let me look at the colors just wanted to start taking the polish off right away...Mind you they were not busy. When I rushingly picked my color they did not have it...he grabbed a different color that he said was very close...it was not. He had my nails done in 30 minutes...my nails have never been done in less than an hour! On top of all of this a couple of the nails are messed up and goopy looking.

I would give less than a one, but I cannot. I went into this place and the nail techs were rude. They ganged up on me and started to talk, laugh, and point in Vietnamese. One nail tech was so bold to tell me that the color I had was not working me and it was too late to change the color now. Then when a white woman walked in they were all pleasantly nice to her. I think it is preposterous to treat African American clients different. I have the same money as any one else. I would not go to this place. They are not good on different nail shapes, and there prices do not reflect the quality of their services. $18 for a fill? I think not, but this is my opinion. Check it out for yourself.

I wanted this to work out as my new nail spot, but it’s a miss. The space is gorgeous and clean, good music and a TV to watch not to mention Sunday hours. But I called ahead and was assured I would be seen right away since they don’t take appts - I show up and am told I have a 15 min wait, I was frustrated but decided to stay - I had to wait almost 35 min before my pedi started. Hugh was great, but I have to say PLC nails is the BEST shellac ever, I am sick of going other places and paying more. No one can compare. In the end the prices are insanely high, they charge to take off even when you’re reapplying shellac - I let them know this is not consistent with competition. They also don’t allow tipping on cards, this is ridiculous with the prices they charge, and the fact it’s almost 2020, I’m not coming back.

Sara’s nails is the best! I recommend to all my friends. I get the dip nails, and they usually last me about a month.

One of the worst experiences of my life! Before going, I called to book a wax appointment and was told that there were no appointments until 2 hrs later, whereas walk-in is a 30 min wait (I know whaaaaaat???). So I just walked in and the owner at the front desk again confirmed that it’ll be a 30 min wait. Little did I know that it’ll be an hour and 45 min wait, and the owner kept telling me it will only take 20 more minutes every time I asked when’s my turn. When I finally got in, I found out that they use the tiniest ice cream wooden sticks for their waxing services. It took an entire hour to do just my arms and eyebrows and it was hardest than ever to communicate with the lady because she barely spoke English. Rude owner, inaccurate estimation of waiting time, and horrible service. Seriously, invest in a waxing machine!!!! I would never go there again, and I do not recommend it. Such a waste of my time and a lot of money.

Went into Sara’s to get a pedicure and Thuy gave me the best pedicure Ive ever had. I would highly recommend getting a pedicure here. There is a lot of nail shops in this town and sometimes feel i never get my moneys worth but today that is not true!! I will now only come to sara’s to get my pedicures. Thank you Thuy!!

Today was my fourth visit to this salon, and I can officially say Ive had great experiences every time. They listen to your requests and make accommodations.

I love how close they are to my home, the wide variety of colors and great atmosphere. There has never had an issue with the technicians but the quality is severely lacking. Ive had a full set and a fill in the last month and a half. THREE nails had issues before the fill, 1 lifted and 2 came off entirely. After the fill the same nails that were replaced, lifted! I repaired them as well as my thumb with super glue yesterday! Another nail came off today. I work behind a desk so there is no way it could be from that.

For pedicure and a dip I was there 2.5-3 hours! The pedicure was nice and has lasted the dip didn’t even last a week before chipping off!

A great experience and a job well done every time! Highly recommend!

I had started going here over a year ago when I was referred by a friend. I used to get dip with Damon and he was the best. Unfortunately, I moved away and found a new salon but Ive been back in town for the summer...I noticed a change with the salon - not only is Damon gone but theyve lost their customer service touch. I had gotten my nails done by Kayla twice, I was referred to her when I called to schedule and found out Damon didnt work there anymore. I asked who did the best shaping and was told it was her but I dont agree and I didnt like that she didnt add an extra layer of dip to my naturally long nails as Id asked - the longer they get, the more at risk they are for breaking and they did never do a good job at removing my powder - too much drilling. I would really suggest using heat mitts after wrapping nails, other salons Ive been to do it and that helps!After my second time of going to her and having 3 nails either crack or break, I tried going to Kaylas brother and had much of the same experience but he was more accommodating and made sure I was happy when I left but I still wasnt impressed with the service I received.I got pedicures during each of my 3 visits and 2 out of the 3 times, I had to have them repaint my toes as they were sloppily done and they were not thorough with treating callouses or removing dead skin from your feet.I gave them 3 stars because Justin at the front desk is their saving grace as far as customer service goes, the salon has a pretty good selection of dip colors and its spacious.--Knapps Corner location:Im not sure why they dont have their own separate Google page but I also visited this location on Oct 2nd. The inside is a lot fancier and I was in love with the way that they organized their regular, gel and dip colors so that its easy to find matches. They were more thorough with my pedicure, although my big toe nails were cut too short and without my permission. My nails turned out really nice and my nail tech (didnt get her name) was very personable. I will mention that she used a UV lamp which isnt at all necessary for dipped nails but Ive noticed that it gives my nails a sparkle.

Pedicure was amazing

I am absolutely shock by the disregard for client safety. The nail tech tried to use previously used, dirty tools during my pedicure. I stopped her immediately and asked her to use new, sterilized equipment and she seemed confused but went to to get new clean files. I had to ask her a second time if her clippers and cuticle nips were clean as she pulled them unpackaged from the bottom of her tote. I think she lied to me because after she said they were, she proceeded to spray them with alcohol. Caution people; these are very dangerous practices!! Any tool touching your body should be sterilized between customers. I will never go back.

Signed in, picked my color, was told she was ready for me and then she promptly disappeared for over half an hour..I left... never again will i go there.. which is a shame... poor customer service.. though they are nice people..

Quick Service. Nails done very well. Thought that staff was very attentive and friendly.

Clean, modern salon with enough staff to walk-in and get an appointment quickly. Kayla does a great job with my acrylics!

I have used this place for years and it has continually gotten worse and worse. Every time I go in they rush through the process. Most recently I got a shellac manicure. On my right hand, he drew blood on 3 different fingers while rushing through cutting my cuticles. The massage lasted about 10 seconds per hand. In other recent visits when I have gotten pedicures I have left with half a toe not painted or dents and marks in the polish. They used to be my favorite place as they seem to really do good work... but now it has turned into something rushed. They dont even give you the option to tip them anymore... flat rate... in out... deal with what you have... and their prices went up.

They got us right in but we should have gone somewhere else. One employee sat across from me eating with food spilling from her mouth in a disgusting manner. Our nails turned out thick and lumpy with gobs of acrylic lodged under the tips ... I will not be back 😞

The MOTHER (the old lady who sits upfront) IS RUDE AND RACIST! Saras Nails needs to remove her from the establishment she is unprofessional and very racist..I have been a client with Thu (one of the sweetest nail techs there) for over 2years and the mother is rude to black women who comes in there but if a white woman comes in she is so polite and helpful. And this past Saturday was the last straw for me I set an appointment for an 11am fill in and polish via a phone call which she confirmed but when I arrived she said hello to a white woman and gave her an estimated time in a kind manner but then looked at me and rudely said What do you need? so I said Hello to you too! And she repeated What do you need? in an even ruder tone, so I told her I have an appointment at 11am with Thu that you confirmed over the phone on Wednesday and she said You dont have an appointment and I will not honor that appointment time because you didnt call so have a seat there will be a 45min waitNow tell me this woman is beyond disrespectful! All money is the same color and in a professional setting you need to check your racial attitude at the door before dealing with all walks of life. And because I am beyond fed up with her I will be pressing the fact and will let it be known in the local market. It is 2017 RACISM SHOULD NOT BE ACCEPTED OR TOLERATED!This is just the beginning so please be ready to impacted by this stand against racism....and if anyone would like to be of any assistance in this stand against Saras nails please feel free to contact me!

My mom and I went in for a pedicure, we got in super quick. The male nail tech she had was awful. He rushed through her pedicure and did not do any of the lotions or foot massage/leg rub. when asked if she was supposed to get that, he stated he already did. He was very rude. Will not go back again.

Received the best manicure of my life from Nam. Fabulous experience & could clearly tell he wanted me to be happy with the quality of his work. Great price for shellac as well!
