We were looking for a new nail salon in this area. First time at Angel Nails. Both me & my wife were needing our feet done.They honored their quote. They treated us with respect, they were proficient, clean & did a very good job. We will be coming back in future.

Great work, kind service, welcomed customers after posted hours because if were open Im going to workWatched her help an older woman understand the difference between different types of services and it sounded as if she slipped her a discount because her initial reaction to the price for the service she was looking for was that it was more than she expected (she had never gotten her nails done before). She also told the price to her and earlier to myself BEFORE starting the service.No acrylic overhang, mirroring lengths on hands.**Photos are after almost a weeks growth**

They do good on feet and eyebrows

I went in with my mind set on what kind of set I wanted. This is not my first time here and usually do not go here because my nails are done poorly every time. Well I went in got seated pretty quick another lady walked in after me and asked her her eyebrows done. I had no problem because eyebrows are fairly quick to get done. I bs you not I sat there for 10-15 mins. So I’m already to the point I’m not tipping her, so I tell her I change my mind on shellac just because I didn’t have enough for the shellac and the design I wanted. After I said that I could tell her whole mood changed. It seems like she was more irritated and what not, not to mention I went in as soon as they open so it wasn’t like they were busy or anything. The total for my nails was 35 dollars and my nails aren’t even squared like they should be. This is my last time putting money in their pocket. I feel they pick and choose what people nails they wanna do good.

After repeatedly having her fix missing paint spots and smudges I had enough and just let her finish the job and will never go there again. Im so disappointed in how they look.

Went reviews and I must say I am very happy! They were so nice and funny! Shes amazing! All the other women who work there are also fantastic! Highly recommend.

Worst pink and white balance Ive ever had. The left hand is OK but the right hand was done terribly - the white is SO thick and off-centered. The inside of the salon is also extremely dirty. Will not be going back.

My friend and I have come here a few times for girls days and each time I was very satisfied. Great color selection, clean space and tools, professional staff. Every experience Ive had here is amazing and everyone at the salon is super helpful and welcoming.

Great looking place

Went and got my nails done thru angel nails yesterday, and literally ALL MY NAIL POLISH IS CHIPPED OFF TODAY, from just doing dishes. Worst nail experience EVER. Will never return to this location again

My nails looked good. The employees were nice. I am not so sure how clean of a facility this is. Their Open sign is generally on when they are closed, and never on when they are there. I have gone there during their business hours with lights off and no sign on the door advising of when they would return.

This place is shitty, looks very dirty on the inside. I got a full acrylic set and the application was completely wrong (I’m licensed in doing nails but I don’t do my own) I almost said something but I kept to myself thinking everyone does things differently. A day after, one of my nails snapped right off, when I called about having it fixed they HUNG UP ON ME mid sentence! A few hours later, another snapped off, then another. Finally I just popped all of them off (you shouldn’t be able to pop acrylic off easily like that). Will be going elsewhere, thought I’d save a trip since they’re next to my house, never again!

Wonderful salon! Thien did a fabulous job on my nails. He was very precise and very detail oriented. I wish I lived in the area because I would definitely go back again!

I gave 1 star because it wouldnt let me give 0... I got a full set Shellac on 02/15/20 and 3, not 1 but 3 of my nails popped off the same night, the whole nail like a press on... went up there made them fix them for free, told the lady I dont want her husband doing my nails again he got offended and told her to tell me he the owner and he been doing nails for years and to find another place to go to after. I said trust me only reason why im back today is to fix the nails u didnt do correctly. I do not reccomend this place. However A&J nails on Walker ave and Leonard are thee best in Gr. Period.

THEY HAVE ROACHES!!!I went there about a month ago and received GREAT service from older woman there. When I went back 2 weeks later (the shop was empty) the young lady tried to overcharge me, I told her I was there 2 weeks before and the price I paid. After going back and forth I just wanted my polish removed and I was going to go somewhere else. The older woman stepped in speaking their native language and she kept holding my hand as if she didn’t want me to leave. After a few minutes the young lady said the older woman remembers me and she will take care of me. My pedicure was done and we was just about done with manicure and a ROACH crawled across the table. The elderly woman tried killing it but was too slow. And now not even a week later my shellac is chipping.

Very nice nail techs. Ive been disappointed with the last few places Ive went around town and these women were very nice and cared about their work. Great place to go! The girl next to me got color changing nails and loved them too!

I luv this place. They always know how to make my nails look AMAZING! CHEAPEST place in GR with great quality! Only shop I go to now.

This nail shop is not always open even when their business hours state that they are. You have to guide them on how you preferred your nails to be done or they will do them in a cheap looking way meaning you will need a fill in or a touch up in about a week. Also they can be a little pricey when it comes to the simple things but overall is not that bad of a nail shop and their very friendly.

The guy didnt ask me if I wanted them shortened and he didnt put one of my hands in the UV light and when I tried to tell him that he said no youre done. So I left with sticky nails 😠

First time going here. I got shellac nail polish. They were professional, quick, thorough, and did a really nice job! I will definitely go back!

I’m not sure who’s working and running this shop currently but the service is poor I had my nails painted with shellac and less than a week my nails were chipped never happened before I have been wearing shellac for years and I gave them a chance to fix this but I guess since I wasn’t paying for them to fix it everyone who came into the shop was served before me and I never want to be treated as such. I used to love coming here but never again!

Went here due to being in Grand Rapids for girls weekend and got a Mani-Ped and the ladies were beyond amazing. They talked with you and were very friendly. Pricing was good. They did an amazing job with all of nails. If I ever come back to Grand Rapids I will be going back!

This salon is under new ownership. All prices have been raised but not updated on the price board. I advise that you make an appointment and ask for the price, before you get services done.

They didnt do my nails right. I pointed it out and they still continued to do it sideways. When I paid they charged me an extra 10 and said Ill get my money back tomorrow. That doesnt make sense to me. I dont recommend going here at all.

About 3-4 days after my manicure I developed a fungal infection under one of my fingernails. Two weeks later Im about to finish my round of antibiotics, lost half of my finger nail and will most likely have pretty noticeable scare tissue. Wont be going back.

Came here to get a mani & pedi the whole time the nail techs were arguing, not relaxing at all. Then I seen a nail tech get a dirty towel out the dirty clothes bin to give to a lady to wipe her hands! Disgusting! I will not be returning here.The previous owners were great and Im happy I found their new shop!

I live nearly 5 minutes away from the Rivertown location in meijers and drive nearly 30 minutes to this location specifically to experience the level of service that I receive from these ladies.They are a pleasure

First time at Angel Nails and will defiantly be my last!! My Shellac started chipping in 3 days time and by day 6 I completely lost the entire shellac polish on 2 nails. The polish was applied way too thick and I felt like the service was rushed. Place seemed dirty to me as well. What a waste of time and money

My nails was done by Ava Ive been a loyal customer for about 2 years now and everytime Ive gotten my nails done they have done nothing but show me the 2 best nail techs Ive ever come across so Im here to say thank u Sarah and Ava for showing me the luxury of angel nails.

I came in before the lunch hour and there was only one other person in the salon. I got in right away for a mani/pedi. But when noon rolled around several others came in and the shop owner told them to pick out colors or to wait. Once my pedicure was finished and my finger nails had been cut my manicurist got up from my station and went to get another customer started, without communicating to me that she would be helping another customer, and without asking me if I was in a hurry. I sat waiting patiently for 10 minutes, but I had to get back to work. An hour and 30 minutes should be plenty of time to get a mani/pedi, but the customer service here was terrible.

Very unprofessional! Made 2 appointments 3 days prior for 1 Mani/pedi and 1 Mani. It was for my daughter and her friend for a dance. When we arrived, they were very busy and then were upset that my daughters friend canceled. We waited over a half an hour to get seated, and one of the ladies kept throwing dirty looks at my teenage daughter. If her friend wouldnt have cancelled, it would have taken an hour and a half for her to be seen. The women were rude and unprofessional. We will NEVER go back!

Dont do it!!! Drive an extra few mile somewhere different I beg you!!! My toes are so jacked up since my pedi in march!! The lady was in a rush to finish it was prob a 12 min pedi walking out in pain...when paying I seen them clean the tub with spic and s pand from the dollar tree hand to god!!!!!

WORST experience ever. TERRIBLE customer service. Walked in and I was not even greeted just stared at, sat down for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to speak no one bothered with me so I just got up and left without anyone saying a single word.

The future daughter-in-law of the owner berated her fiance (also a nail tech) during my appointment and when she didnt get the response she wanted, she got rougher with my nails. Also, if I I pointed out an issue, she filed until she drew blood.

Shellac only lasted one week and was peeling off. Customer service was poor. Salon is crowded and not very clean. Will not be going back.
