I have gone to many dentist is my life and VH Dental is the best. They not only have great Dentists but the staff is so kind and caring too. The Doctors are proactive at keeping your mouth and teeth healthy yet they do not do any unnecessary dental work. Keep up the good work guys!

Posting this for my in-laws.Thank you to the doctors and staff of VH Dental. Especially to the doctors Andrew and Katie Van Haren who we have been with for over ten years. They have done extensive work on my dental issues after I had an oral cancer operation five years ago. Radiation treatments have left my bone structure brittle and my teeth compromised. With Dr. Andrews expertise, he was able to restore my chewing capability and smile to their original conditions. Dr. Andrew persisted in rightfully proving to our insurance company that this was the result of a medical condition, which in turn reduced our out of pocket expenses. The insurance company finally agreed after several submissions by Dr. Andrew. If you want a dentist that cares about you, look no further than VH Dental. My co-worker referred me to VH and Im so happy he did. Ive had several fillings and cleanings and they always do a great job, they are way more thorough than my last dentist. The front desk staff is excellent as well, doing the extra work to inform me how much my insurance will pay for future visits as well as easily rescheduling me when I need it. 100% recommend.

Awesome!! How often do you hear that about a dental experience? Well youll find it with VH Dental. I chose VH Dental because it was close to home and I feel like I hit the jackpot. The entire staff, from front desk, to hygienists, to dentists, are professional and very friendly. Dr. Andys knowledge and enthusiasm for dentistry are impressive. He explains everything in great detail, and you always feel like he is in no hurry. He is warm, funny, and compassionate. He is also very conscientious, not only of your comfort, but also finances. He has been great about setting up a plan of care and prioritizing work so I can budget for it. The people are great, but you also get top notch work done. The quality has been terrific. VH Dental is a fantastic dentistry establishment. From the moment you walk in the door, the secretaries greet you and even get on a name to name basis, making you feel appreciated and welcome. The dental hygienists are also very comforting. Its not difficult to find common ground or topic for conversation, creating lasting relationships and leaving you looking forward to your next appointment. Even if you have to get specialized work done in your mouth, such as wisdom teeth removal or fillings (and others such as), VH Dental makes you feel completely at ease as they talk you through, step by step, what exactly it is that is going to happen, so that you are knowledgeable and prepared. The easy-going staff members leave you with a smile as you depart. All in all, VH Dental is a wonderful, highly recommended dentistry association if you want that at-home-comfort and friendliness in a Dentist.Come in with a good attitude, leave with a clean smile. From the first visit I fell in love with this dentist and the staff. Friendly, caring and professional. I needed a lot of work done. The staff went over all what needed to be done and options available. They did not automatically push me towards the more expensive option. The pros and cons were laid out and thoroughly explained to me, especially after the insurance money ran dry. I have experienced cleaning, scaling, fillings, extractions and dentures. Follow up is incredible to say the least.I am very happy to say VH Dental gave me my smile/life back. I have had my new smile for only 5 days and barely notice my dentures are in...they fit that good!Lastly, appointment reminders are sent via text and e-mail...this was huge for me!

At my age I have been to many dentists over the years, but never have I experienced such a welcoming office. From the first phone call till my latest appointment (today). I have been made to feel comfortable, appreciated and well cared for. I am their top priorty and their kindness and painless dentistry has relieved me of all dental anxiety. The office is clean, pleasant, but not showy and elaborate. The location is convenient and easy to find. My observation of how other patients are treated both by phone as well as in person was a plus to me. I am also impressed with how well staffed this office is. A husband and wife team assures me that should I need to be seen, one or the other would be available. The hygienists have the same professionalism and the cleaning was painless with the latest equipment. I was actually referred to this office by my daughter and I am nothing short of delighted that she told me of how great they are. Another reason I am so pleased is that because of the young age of both dentists, and because of my advancing years, I am glad to know that I will be able to go to them for the rest of my life. I really cannot say enough good things about my experiences and would most certainly recommend VH Dental to my family and friends. If there was something even better than excellent, that would surely be my grade.

I stopped in for a check-up in October of 2017, and Dr. Katie Van Haren mentioned how a spot on my scalp just didnt look right, and she suggested that I have someone look at it. I made an appointment with a dermatologist, and sure enough, it was skin cancer. Thanks to Dr. Van Haren, we caught it in time. Everyone who I have told tells me, What a great dentist. I agree. Its a very caring staff.

If you are looking for a great dentist, youve found them. Very friendly and most importantly they do good work. I would recommend them to anyone. The only con would be the old building, but for an hour of my time twice a year, I would not allow it to affect my choice.

Having had awful experiences with dentists in the past I can truly appreciate the quality and care Dr. Andy and Dr. Katie show their patients. They insure you’re comfortable at all times and clearly communicate throughout the visit. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Grand Rapids area.

Ive been going to Dr. Van Haren for years now, I couldnt imagine going any place else. Very friendly staff, they really do care about you and your well-being.

I feel rushed when I get my teeth cleaned at your office. I had a question about teeth that had to be filed down and because of that I dont remember if I even got my teeth polished at the end of the appointment. I dont remember the polisher working or any times that I had to flush out my mouth in the cleaning process.I wish I would be able to ask questions and not feel so rushed plus I wish I knew if this last time to the dentist the polishing was included in the cleaning. I wish I would have had the time to think about asking but like I said I felt rushed.Beth Mulder

My dentists should be your dentists. Noone likes to visit the dental office but you will be pleasantly surprised when your dentists are Andrew and Katie Van Haren. I appreciate their professionalism and genuine sincerity. They are conscientious and very knowledgeable. The staff is competent and friendly. I am very happy with the care and servive VH Dental provides to me and and my family; I am positive you will too. We plan to continue our relationship for many years to come.
