Absolutely fantastic. Huge space with a plethora of options. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean and well organized facilities, great swimming area with options from fun to fitness for all ages. Many perks to membership and lots of additional services to take advantage of. Cant recommend this place enough.

Nice equipment and clean environment with many options for classes, athletics, and personal training. I have no experience with the training quality, but I have observed some unprofessional behavior during my workouts from the training staff. I debated purchasing a training package. After watching them deliver workouts with client, I chose not too. I am at an intermediate level of fitness/workout intensity and I did not feel they would be the right investment to get me to the next level. Overall, higher priced gym in the area, but great facility. Gets busy in the evenings. I would recommend going before 8am. Clean locker rooms. Ive been to anytime, snap, and planet fitness in the area. If youre looking for a gym that has members with more gym etiquette (wiping off machines, putting weights away, not slamming weights, etc.), Choice seems to be the better option. I left because of location and price.

The facility itself is clean and beautiful. Staff appear friendly. The pool is why I go it is accessible to people with mobility issues. Sauana is nice. Elevator up to the nu steps. Everything I need in one place. The deli has much to be desired and I dont understand why patrons can not bring in their own healthy food. Great job!! Keep it up

I have been working out here since it opened, love the facility! The staff however, is another story. Many of the staff - personal trainers in particular are extremely rude to me while I am working out. Not sure why this is but can sometimes make working out rather uncomfortable.

I had a membership for myself and my toddler. I was getting a decent rate with a single family corporate membership. I recently received a letter stating they were doing away with the single family corporate membership. When I called and inquired, I was told that they didnt feel it was fair to give two discounts. I fail to see how being a single parent is a discount, and feel its a circumstance. I was asked how its any different with just a couple without kids. Simple they have two incomes. I then went in to visit with the membership rep in person. I discussed how I felt about them taking away the corporate single family membership. How unfair it really was that I couldnt get the corporate discount just because I was a single mom. At the end of our conversation the membership rep said maybe Id win the lottery and be able to come back. Ive never been more offended in my life. I work my tail off to provide for my single family, in a corporate job, yet it doesnt meet their standards. On a side note my fellow co-workers do get the corporate discount, because they are married. There are plenty of gyms I can join that wont make me feel like garbage.

Super nice. Had a membership here for a year, but was spendy for how often we went. The water park is really fun with little ones. Have also been to watch tennis and the courts are very nice. I have never been here when it wasnt busy. Not really a poor reflection on the gym and obviously its popular, but just not really my cup of tea.

Amazing facility-- It is great to have a brand new and well rounded athletic based facility in Grand Forks. I have been a member here ever since moving to town. Locker rooms, weight room and pool area are great. Endless list of machines and actives to join in on. Indoor track is a life saver during the cold winter. Well kept and clean which is impressive with the amount of traffic they see everyday.

Choice fitness is a good facility. Modern a d up to date. Tbe floor in the mens locker room was a bit dirty but later in the day. We went swimming and had a good time. We will definitely be going back again soon. Also go to the y.

Best place to focus on health & fitness

I like it here. The track is nice and the racquet ball court rooms are nice. Basket ball court is nice and there is a pool here. Weight rooms, theres a lot of fun things here.

Large, clean facility. The weight room could have more weights, but it suffices if you go during less busy hours.There is a good selection of classes offered with the membership with more offered for additional charge.The cardio area upstairs feels large enough with a variety of machines.The lap pool has 3 or 4 lanes, so if youre in during peak hours, prepare to share a lane.Overall, Id recommend this place to a friend.

What can we say? Its a middle/high end gym with many amenities. Brightly lit with a generally nice staff. Pretty much what one expects for the cost of membership

The weight area is small and haphazardly set up. This is largely due to the walls built in and the over use of angles in the architecture. Plenty of bikes, treadmills, and assisted weight lifting machines. The classes offered in the membership are a great added benefit.

I am very concerned with the safety of the locker rooms. Their staffs are too nice that they allowed around 10 years old boys in the womens locker room. Unbelievable! This happened several times. Even once, a boy was trying to open the locker and steal. My wife talked this issue to the front. And no actions from Choice have been taken.Hope they can be fixed by them. If the management from Chioce can take some actions to prevent this from happening again. I would like to change this one star to five star.

Great place to be. Coffee groups after exercise are a great touch. Some of the bike type machines need minor repairs. Machine maintenance is poor. Staff is great!

This place is HUGE! They have a indoor running track, cardio equipment, weights, lifting equipment, basketball gym, raquetball courts (which you have to reserve ahead of time) tennis courts (which are a pay to use part of the gym) and a pool. The pool includes a lazy river, a splash zone, 2 water slides and a three lane swimming pool.They also have classes like yoga, stationary bike and others. The staff is really great too. Everyone is super friendly. And the membership at Choice allows access to the YMCA. All around great club

Beautiful facility, lots of options for working out, many different activities acquirable. I love the yoga and zumba classes. My grandchildren loveTo swim here.

For the amount I pay a month, this place is great. Lots of class to attend, the pool is awesome, and theres lots of equipment.Tip: Mondays are the busiest. Towards the end of the week traffic slows down. Sometimes busier than normal when weather is bad.

We tried booking a birthday party at Choice but the woman would never call us back. We called a dozen times over a week & left many messages. Ridiculous!😡

The place is filled with design flaws -- doors that cannot be opened, blinding sunlight in lobby area - crowded classes, lots of noise. It may be new, but its not great. TVs dont work properly on most machines. Some employees walk around a lot with nothing to do, or are trying to look busy. Improvements could be made, it anyone would take responsibility and make them.

Love this place! Prime time to go is 2 hours before closing or an hour. The weights and machines are mostly vacant to use.

Been attending since it opened. - Staff are all great. - Friendly and knowledgable.Rates are fair - In line with most clubs, though my employer subsidizes our rates to quite affordable!They offer many classes. - Ive been doing the Body Pump one for several months at 5:30AM. - Never thought Id do morning classes, but the location and parking (even in the winter) makes it a pleasure to wake up early. - Instructors are great at getting you going with little/no prior experience. - Give one of these classes a try!Facility is brand new as of last fall. - They have done a great job keeping it maintained. Anytime any equipment has issues (as they might on occasion) they quickly document the problem and get it fixed by the time Im back.Pool area is well kept, 3+ lifeguards on staff during times when kids are swimming. Waterslides are a hit with my kids, and get them off the couch which is what a fitness center should do!Gym is well thought out and large. - Plenty of hoops if you want to shoot, 3 Volleyball nets can be placed as needed/leagues/etc. 3 Racquetball courts, and 6 Tennis courts, all climate controlled.Walking/running track is 6 laps/mile - Nice views while walking.Its big enough that even when its busy, it doesnt feel busy. - Ive never had any issues getting on equipment Id like to use.Moderate sized weight area, but it doesnt appear crowded (Im not that guy though, nor are most of the people there.)Locker rooms are 1st class.Nice lounge area in entryway for visiting, waiting for family, etc.Give it a try if you havent already!

My experience at choice fitness was absolutely putrid. I cannot believe the nerv that the staff has, especially the bisexual lifeguards. My friends and I were told to leave the pool because we were wearing basketball shorts and we believe that theres more than 2 genders. Me and my friends prefer to be called kitchen appliances and these people had he nerv to call us sir. We never knew about the basketball shorts thing because they have no information about this on their website or posted around the facility. When my friends and I tried to purchase swim wear so we could enjoy our time, they had nothing available for purchase. I pay good money to go to choice fitness each and every day, and to be treated this horribly absolutely disgusts me. I hope the facility burns down.

I do a lot of travelling for work and leisure. We ended up stuck in grand forks due to a winter storm. So we decided to hit up choice health & fitness because of the reviews and photos we saw. We are avid gym goers and stay active as often as we can.So the facility itself is nice. It seems new. Clean. Lots of equipment. The actual equipment for liftin seems a bit worn out (barbells and some plates) but I suppose this place gets lots of use. I liked that there is a separate cardio space with a track and really beat things to do. Gymnastics, a water slide/pool/water park, basketball and volleyball courts and individual fitness rooms for classes. It has a little bar that serves small deli meals and what not. I like the feel that it promotes family fitness and fitness for all ages and interest groups.I found the lifting area quite crowded and set up weird. There wasn’t a lot of room to do free hand weights as the equipment is somewhat crowded and if you throw a few users (5 or so) you can’t move around freely without worrying about hitting someone accidentally.The fee for a one time use was about twelve. Not sure what it all includes because we just came to use the weights and cardio for a bit.What I did NOT like or understand was registration. We walked in and asked for a day pass. They did not take any information. Just our fee. Usually gyms have you fill out information sheets and sign a liability waiver. There was none of this. I even asked because I found it weird (not to mention the laminated sheet of paper behind the desk prompting the desk workers to have people sign a waiver).Also didn’t appreciate how I was greeted. Any question asked was returned with a look of astoundment and me and my husband felt as though we were dressed in clown suits by the look we were given. All we had done was ask where we could find the locker rooms as we had never been here.It was definitely weird and made us both uncomfortable.Would not return or recommend due to this dis-ease and discomfort. If you can get over that then it’s just fine.

Me and a few of my friends went here last weekend just because we were younger (13-14) a member of the staff (I did not catch her name but she had brown hair in a ponytail fair skin and looked fairly young) followed us around the majority of the time me and my friends not knowing of the no outside food rule ordered pizza it was obvious we were ordering pizza as we were talking fairly loudly and they did not stop us while ordering when the pizza arrived they didn’t stop us before we paid but after we had sat down and opened the box they made us eat it outside in -20 degree weather and when we tried to eat it in the entry way area the same lady moved us outside my friend then dribbled his ball in the hallway and the same worker yelled at him to carry his ball the right way after playing basketball we decided to go for a swim after swimming me and my 2 other friends were getting ready in the corner of he girls locker room keep in mind there was only one or two ladies on the complete other side of the locker room so we plugged in our phones we were on our phones so the same lady who followed us into the locker room and pretended to do work so she could keep an eye on us told me and my friend fairly to get of our phones so we did I got a text from my mom so without lifting up my phone keeping it back down no camera out texted my mom back and the lady angrily told me to get off my phone and I did and continued to get ready we were about to leave to go play basketball again the the employee walks by for a third time and in an agreesive tone tell us to get out of the locker room while grabbing our stuff u got a text so I turn my phone twords my face and look at the screen to see if it was my mom she then buts her hands on her head and groans yelling if you “kids” can not follow the rules here you will never be allowed back in this facillity we then left to play basket ball my other friend arrived so I went upstairs with her to work out we went on one machine and talked to some guy friends there as the employee continued to spy on us the entire time it made my experience very uncomfortable and unpleasnt I will not be back for a while I am very unhappy with my experience considering I have payed for a membership at this gym for the last 3 years
