Just moved here and am very happy with the apartment! The location is great, very close to a lot of places for hiking, eating, you can easily walk to the grocery store too! Emily was also a major help getting everything in order to get the apartment! She was very responsive made the move a lot less stressful! Highly recommend if you’re looking for an apartment in the area!
I applied to this place to live. They claim i have an eviction on my record and i dont. I have the paper work proving it was not from the court. You cant even get a hold of anyone. After weeks of trying they claim i falsified my application and they are able to keep my 250 dollar deposit. This place will take what you have. They have been so non responsive. I now have to send them the letter proving i dont have a damn eviction so they can give me my money back. The screening company they use is awful.
My Friend And I have been working with Emily on securing a one bedroom here. From the very first day walking in, the staff is warm and inviting. They are unbelievably caring, and show no lack of compassion, in these uncertain times. We believe they actually want to help people find the right home. We have been grateful to have found a location that works and is affordable. I know my friend is really looking forward To joining the Fox Hill community. Thank you Fox Hill Team you guys Rock!! 🤘🏽🙌
Great location. Even better maintence team, Jeff and Aaron are always so friendly and do such and amazing job! They are away available to help and go out of their way to help with any request big or small! The company is so lucky to have them!
Living at fox hill apartments has been an absolute pleasure, from move in to move out emily the leasing agent has my made experience so smooth and easy! the maintenance is kind and helpful and quick. they are building a cute little dog park next to the place and it’s right next to a beautiful view. not to mention such kind neighbors. you won’t regret your decision.
Love living here! The office staff is helpful and friendly. Maintenance is always quick to fix issues. Great value. Close to hiking on South Table Mountain!
Aaron and Jeff, the maintenance duo on-site at Fox Hills, are really doing wonderful work. They always come-by with a cheery smile and a good attitude. I had my air-conditioner replaced this summer, and my bathroom painted in the Fall. They got back to me right away and I was very pleased with how well the jobs were done and by how quickly they did them. Keep up the good work. We all appreciate it!
Well run very professional .Great place to live!
Their cheap styrofoam roof came off during a windy night and they spent the better part of two long and noisy months fixing it. Also the place is cheap and the management is unresponsive.
Employees are very friendly and professional from the leasing staff in the front office to the maintenance team. Very accommodating as well for things that are important to me in an apartment home.
Allan’s experience is accurate. Beware! I lived here for three years, always paid my rent on time and did my best to keep the tiny apartment clean and quiet. During my three years here they went through three or four general managers and multiple interim managers…I moved out and after two months of waiting for my deposit I called only to be told that they had no record of me paying my deposit?? How did they lose $300 of my money? Then to top it all off I get a notice from a creditor that I owe $150 for move out fees. Money that should’ve come out of the deposit… I didn’t receive a courtesy call or an email stating that I owed this money nor did they bother to tell me when I called! This is starting to sound like a scam and if I do not get this situation fixed I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and possibly the state attorneys office. There are other affordable places to rent in the golden area avoid Fox Hill if possible.
Shoutout to the new leasing team, great women who have gone above and beyond to help residents and people in general. Thank you!! AND SUPER THANK YOU TO THEIR MAINTENANCE TEAM!! Overall AWESOME TEAM!!! 💯🔥🙏🔥
Such a great office and maintenance staff! Emily Lehl is the office person there, she is so sweet and helpful. She seems to know what shes doing! I have loved living here.
Everything people are saying is true. They will take your deposit when you move, even if you leave your apartment in perfect condition.
The apartment complex is pretty OK. Average quality, good for college students. However, be wary that when you move out, they will put fees onto your account after the fact, without notifying you or giving you any method to pay them. eventually, the first time you hear about these fees, (since your account balance will be zero), will be from a collector. Nobody likes that.Staff are fine, rooms fine, be careful about the administration and how fees are after the fact.
My roommate and i worked with Emily mostly and she had our whole process go as smoothly as possible and did a very good job at that. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and moved in. Thank you Emily! & Thanks Fox Hill Apartments!!
Could literally here every word my neighbors would say the walls are so thin it’s unbelievable. People playing music till very late. Parking is a mess if you work nights. They sent me my deposit back with money missing for no reason and my name was spelled so wrong it literally had the number 5 in my name... couldn’t cash check and they wouldn’t send me a new one. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Youll regret it. They steal your money and scam you.
Always have a smell of weed smoke. Very noisy apt since there is usually someone talking outside although it is midnight. The apt complex is located in a noisy environment. There are several times that some people living near the apt complex have parties until 1pm or 2pm. I can hear dirty words screaming out of people living in the apt complex. Parking is another big problem. I was unhappy that someone hit and run my car though my car was parking there. I am very happy that I have already moved out of this apt. Would not recommend it.
Staff is friendly and happy to help. Management is very much like a family. A good place to stay and I recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
This apartment complex is a fantastic place to live. It isnt the newest/fanciest/biggest apartment Ive ever lived in (although its great for the price!), but it really feels like living in a community. Specifically, Barb and Miguel each go out of their way to make you feel at home here. The pet policy is great; its a very pet-friendly complex. Also they have been renovating everything, and the improvements look awesome!
Worst staff who lie to the residents and have unprofessional behavior. Unresponsive and do not perform their duties on time and then blame residents for the delay.
I used to live there. Good enough place for poor students. The price is rising fast each year. My 2 years there was mostly pleasant until I moved out. I cleaned my apartment really really well. However, they charged me quite a chunk of my deposit, because they mistook my apartment with another dirty one. They admitted the mistake, but it took nearly 2 months to finally got my deposit back. Small mistake, but a big waste of my PRECIOUS TIME.
Lived in Fox Hill for 1.5 years. Its a great community that is very pet friendly. Miguel, leader of the maintenance team, is incredibly friendly, positive, and always helpfull. Maintenance requests were always quick and fixed well. I never had a problem with noise levels of neighbors either. The apartment is walking distance from a grocery store, restaurants, and a few parks. The community area of the dog park, fire pit, grills, and pool were always clean and comfortable. Fox Hill also offered membership to the Golden Community Center which is only 2 miles away.Had to move due to work, but I highly recommend Fox Hill, especially if you are seeking a pet friendly environment.
I lived at Fox Hill just over 7 years ago. The past month I had ran into an issue involving records from back when I lived there. I was able to come in and speak with the manager Shentel, who was able to go above and beyond to fix my complicated situation. It took a lot of digging in, back to back phone calls along with emails. Shentel was able to finally follow through and get the best results possible. Again this issue happened well before her time as an employee at Fox Hill, so again this was an act of great management on her behalf. I would definitely go back and live at Fox Hill if I lived in Golden. The community is now up dated and the view of Golden is beautiful. Thanks again!!!! -Shelena Proski
Fox Hill is an overall good complex with a friendly staff and reasonable pricing. Its also in a quiet neighborhood with hiking trails mere yards away from the apartments. My maintenance requests are consistently addressed promptly, and my apartment is left in pristine order even when Im not present for them. Definitely a solid 4.5 stars, if Google reviews allowed for half-stars. (I deducted 1/2 star because the plumbing is a little sub-par.)
Fox Hill is a great place to live, and the location is beautiful. Its a smaller complex so its quiet and staff is very friendly. I have really enjoyed living here!
Beautiful community with gorgeous views. Great staff and excellent amenities.
Apartment was overall good, after leaving they sent cleaning a $800 cleaning bill directly to collection. The manager who came to check the room when we were leaving said everything was fine. Now even after paying the issue still shows in my credit report so cant get new apartment.
90% of the time living here was awesome, until we had some petty neighbors move in claiming a dog was barking all day from our unit. We went grocery shopping for 40 minutes and came back to 6 threatening notes about how its been barking all day--while someone was home all day. This is the 2nd time in less than two weeks the neighbor has waited until neither of us were home and felt the need to express their feelings in a childish manner.
These apartments are grossly overpriced, very low quality, and I experienced a generally unpleasant living environment inside my apartment, as well as in the complex. However, the reason I am writing this is because they refuse to communicate with me about refunding my deposit. Because they have exceeded the state statute for returning rental deposits, I will be issuing a demand letter followed by a small claims suit. If you do deal with them, do what I do - document everything.
I stayed there for three months.. it was a good experience... adequate facilities...moderate rent..
Will nickel and dime you with made up charges. When I moved out they took over 60 days to return my security deposit, which is illegal in Colorado, and I had to call multiple times for them to give it back. Then, they made up a move out date on my move out statement to make it look like it took less than 60 days. Also I moved out in mid July and they charged my for a full month of gas for July and 34 days of gas in August. How many days are in a month again?
Denied on last Thursday, application deposit still not received today, Wednesday. Not sure if I could get this money back... Ask first if they could accept your application.
Worst place to live all they do is charge you for everything they dont care about you after you sign then the maintenance is awful
I love it here !!!!
They lied about having an apartment available to get a deposit check they promised they wouldnt cash until moving in. They then cash it immediately, say there is no apartment and then lie about not being able to return the money.
Nice places
