Don’t judge this shop on appearance.They truly deliver honest work. Jim is very knowledgeable on the mechanics of cars. Also calls from a few different part suppliers to insure the best price for parts and labor. I have been bringing my car there for over 5 years.Rex.

I gave this shop 2 tries and both experiences were negative.1. The first time I went in because something seemed wrong with my front left side, my car seemed to have a pull and limited power. They said I needed a break job and replaced another part. They fixed the car and I went on my way only to break down a few days later. I had a shop look at it in the town I broke down in and 25 minutes and $20 later they had me back on the road. My cost with Midland was $200 for parts and labor for something that likely didnt need to be replaced at all. I called midland and explained the issue and they refunded me the labor which I appreciated., as I did have new breaks installed i felt the parts were still worth the money for that. Due to them being honest and reasonable with my car not being correctly fixed I went back a few weeks later with a new issue to give them another try. They are right down the street so I really wanted this to work out.2. I brought my car in for a humming sound and was told a wheel bearing needed to be replaced. My car sat at their shop for 3 weeks. Yes, THREE WEEKS with no communication from them. The only communication was when I called to find out the status. Each time i was told we will do it this weekend. I was told it was rusty and hard to get off and that is why it was taking so long. On the 3rd week I was fed up and just picked my car up as I was seeing ZERO progress and ZERO communication from them.I brought it to a new shop, within 2 hours of having my car the new shop called to let me know I did need a new wheel bearing but I also had 2 other issues a bad ball and sway link that needed to be replaced, I asked if they were critical to have fixed for safety and the answer was yes. These were things Midland didnt notice. 5 hours after my car was in the new shop I got a call my car was completed and ready to go.To sum up it took another shop 5 hours what Midland couldnt get done in THREE WEEKS of having my car.

The people runing this shop are honest. True all around mechanics that charge a very reasonable rate for their time. They are not a big fancy shop but they give you a great attitude and try their best fix your vehicle for a honest competitive rate. I have no complaints. I give a big thumbs up for this shop.

I was having problems with my carburetor and within a couple days my car was ready and the mechanics are very knowledgeable
