I tried Garner lube and tire recently. The facility is great. Clean on the inside basic sitting area for customers no coffee so bring your own. The customer service was great. I had an issue for them to fix with my alignment and had to take time to come back they had forgot to do something but they made it right and said if I had any other issues they would make it right again when a company stands by their work that makes me trust them!!! Thanks Garner lube and tire. They have great coupons, but I will say beware if you need brake pads they were a little pricey so Im going to have to take it somewhere else for that but for a basic oil change they seemed great.

The owners of this business really care about the quality of service you receive as well as your satisfaction. If there is a problem they will work to make it right. Pricing is competitive and repair quality and attention to detail is top notch. This business is very trustworthy. My experience here has been very satisfactory and I was made to feel like a valued customer.

I went in to get my oil pan replaced. I was told in order to replace my pan they had to charge me for an oil change since they would drain the oil out. When I picked up my car 4-5 days later I had no transmission fluid and later came to find out my dipstick was disconnected. I had alerted them about my transmission issue and was told by both of the owners they would look into it and check the cameras over 2-3 months later I have not gotten a call or any type of communication. They are good for a basic oil change but watch out when getting bigger jobs done

When moving to a new place finding a good mechanic is hard. I tried out Garner Lube & Tune after recieving a coupon on the mail for a $27 oil change (more later). This is a small chain with two locations. Each has its own number and they dont share information so you need to speak to the correct lo location. I went to the Garner location.Overall my experience was very good. Staff was friendly and they take appointments. They are not open on weekends, which may make it hard for some people, but they do offer loaner cars (not sure how many they have). I read through all the reviews and they seem to care that they resolve problems and make things right.So for my oil change i needed an extra quart of oil (6 vs 5 in the offer) and after tax, etc it came out to $42. The job took longer than i expected, but i did arrive earlier than my appointment time. (One hour earlier after calling them and asking). My only complaint, if you can call it that, is they want me back after 5,000 miles vs 10,000 as recommended by VW.Overall their prices are competitive, the service is good and the staff friendly. I will definitely consider them the next time i need work done and will go for my next oil change.

We just moved to the area and, of course, you like to find a good mechanic that won’t say you need extra work done just to make an extra dollar. I have been to Garner Lube and Tune a couple times now and have been very pleased. I recently went for an oil change and mentioned that I would be getting the spark plug/tuneup at the next oil change but I had also noticed my oil level had fallen slightly since the last oil change. They checked it out and found a small leak in the gasket. They got the parts in the same day and had me on my way in just a couple hours and at a reasonable cost. If you are looking for a reliable, local mechanic, I would give this place a try.

These guys are conveniently located close to where I live. I have been using them for couple of years since moving to Garner. The employee communication is great and the work is performed in a timely manner. Being in the service industry as a tradesman, I am willing to pay for great service. Pricing wise, I have nothing to compare with due to preferring good service over trying to find the cheapest repairs out there. I will continue to use these guys in the future.

My experience with this business has been outstanding! There was no waiting they took me in right away. The problem was quickly diagnosed and they fit me into their schedule for repairs which took several hours. The best thing was they dropped me off at home and picked me up when they were done🤗. They also called a few days later to make sure everything was working okay. I was looking for a new place to take my truck for repairs and I’ve found it! Thanks for your professionalism!

1st time using this shop. They were extremely flexible on scheduling and had a fast turn-around on service. I needed full brake service, pads and rotors on both axles and they were a little on the high side. However, they applied a discount and did not charge for a test that returned a false positive. Overall, good experience and would recommend to others.

Exceptional people doing excellent work. Always kind (which is important to me) and I never have to worry about them selling me headlight fluid bs. Constant quality on every visit from a tire patch to full inspections.

I love how convenient this place is to where I live (I feel like I’m there all the time so being close is important to me) and they are excellent communicators (someone even answered the phone when they were CLOSED last time I called)! They are always friendly at the desk and can help with anything my old trucks need! I have a 2003 Ford Explorer that I took in for service on 12/22/2020. My vehicle has over 244K miles. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I didn’t know what was needed as far as services were concerned. I just knew my Explorer needed some TLC. The technician sent me an estimate via text and then asked me to call so he could explain each recommendation. I approved the services I wanted them to complete and they were done the next day before noon. My vehicle drives so much better! They explained that it was because the Explorer had been well maintained over the years and that I should be able to get another 100K miles on the vehicle with continued maintenance visits. I highly recommend Garner Lube & Tune! They provided excellent service at a reasonable price! I will definitely use them for future vehicle maintenance services. Very pleased with the entire staff. I was in for an oil change. They checked my entire vehicle for any problems that I may have had. They gave me a complete breakdown of any repairs that I needed. Living in the 40/42 area with all the construction and rain, we hit a pothole and cracked and bent a rim. We ordered a replacement online and when it came in, we took it to Garner Lube and Tune to have the tire and rim mounted and balanced. We walked in that morning without an appointment and Summer assured us it would be no problem to service our vehicle that morning. Thank you so much for squeezing us in and having the work completed before lunch time. Being down a car while waiting for the rim to be delivered was an inconvenience for our family. Summer was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive making sure we were informed on the progress of the repair. We discussed getting some tire price quotes for another one of our vehicles and look forward to doing business in the future.

They are efficient and try to make every effort to satisfy the customer. After making an appointment fir my oil change, I was disappointed that it took a while before they actually started the work. Otherwise a very clean and nice place to take my vehicle for service.

I had a wonderful experience for my first visit. Garner Lube and Tune offered exceptional customer service when I went in to get new tires the other day. I called and asked if they had a certain size tire and they didnt but were able to order them that morning and had me in by noon getting me new tires. Summer was extremely helpful by offering me a variety of quotes on different tires so I had a wide selection. My service was done in a timely manner and it was done well! I will be back and would reccomend this shop to everyone!

I dropped off my car on THURSDAY due to a hissing/puffing sound the car was making under acceleration. I recorded the sound, so the guy car hear the noise and he said, “I hear it a little”. I was told it probably won’t get looked at until the next day. Which was okay.I never heard back from them and decided to call late Monday afternoon. I was told the tech drove the car Thursday, Friday, and Monday morning and couldn’t duplicate the sound. They said, “I could pick up the car and come back if I heard the noise.” I went to pick it up and before leaving their parking lot I heard the sound. I backed up and asked if a tech could take a drive with me so they can hear what I hear. The tech came out and before we left the parking lot, he said “oh I can hear the sound”. We drove down the road and he said, “yea I can definitely hear it”. I asked if he had taken out the car earlier in the day? He answered “no, someone else must have.” I checked the car back in and left it. By Tuesday afternoon I had not heard anything, and AGAIN I decided to call. I was told that the tech could not locate the sound and I would have to pay a diagnostic fee to proceed.I don’t have a problem paying for a fee or a service. But why do I have keep calling to find out what the status is. I feel it should be them calling me saying: we can’t duplicate the noise, come down and show us, or we have diagnostic fee because we need to lift it up and need more time, or something…don’t just hold the car hoping it will fix itself!But when I’m told we have been providing a complimentary inspection and can only look at it for 15 min – and the car has been sitting in their lot for 6 days with no callback, no status update, and no solution -yes I’m going to be annoyed. It’s negligence on their part and bad service!When I voiced my frustration on the service I was receiving, the front staff just looked at me and said nothing. Absolutely nothing, they just stayed quiet. The guy grabbed the keys stared at floor as he walked out. He brought my car around and said nothing. No apology, not even an excuse, NOTHING!I have been servicing three vehicles here for the basic oil changes, tire rotation and state inspections, but after this – I’ll be going elsewhere.

Phil and Lea from Garner Lube were absolutely amazing. Their professionalism and hospitality are #1 in the industry. My wife and I were stuck in North Carolina on a family vacation due to a pot hole on 95 South. It affected the rear axle and added two more days from a three day vacation. The next thing I know is my extended warranty decided to send a broken part to complete the job and those two days turned into 9 days. Phil and Lea went out their way and demanded the warranty company to pay for a part that Garner Lube purchased. Garner Lube took personal stock into my vehicle and my life. They worked overtime and had the SUV complete on a Friday night. I’ve never seen a car shop work hard on a Friday. They are the best in the business hands down!!! Thank you Garner Lube!!!

I wanted to say a special thank you to the Garner Lube & Tune team. I was getting so aggravated at my new Goodyear tires. I was thinking either the tires were out of balance or the balance machine was out of balance at Just Tires in Garner. I went to Just Tires 3 time for this issue. 1 tire replaced under warranty and still there is a shake and shimmy at 65+ speed. They said my tires were balanced perfectly. Aargh. Finally went to Garner Lube & Tune just to see what they could do. All I can say is just WOW and THANK YOU for working me in and getting this fixed. Very happy to recommend this organization to my friends and family, a job well done.

We drove to NC from Philadelphia Pa. and our rear axle broke. Our warranty company was giving us a hard time but Leah was very helpful she stayed on the phone with them and got our parts in time and our SUV fixed in time for me to return to PA for work Monday. Was using a repair shop that i did not get the estimate until they called me. These guys will run you an estimate as you are telling them what the issue is or work that needs to be done and will keep you informed of any unforeseen issues before work is completed. This is the second time i have used them and both times with a list of work to be done. Great service and honest folks. Not everyday that the owner texts you to make sure your service and work was done to satisfaction. Have a 10 year old vehicle and these guys will a part of keeping it running for years to come. Highly recommend.

My truck broke down close to this shop. The tow truck driver recommended them. Wish I could say the same. Truck was over heating. They had the truck for close to 2 weeks, told me it was ready to go. Drove 340 round trip and the same problem persisted. Made the trip again same problem. They told me to pay to get it towed back to the shop for the 3rd time. Conflicting stories in between reception and mechanic. This place is a joke. Do not take your vehicle here.

Was able to get an appointment next day for an oil change and new tires, actually missed my original appointment but they were incredibly understanding and said I could just come in later that afternoon. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and professional. Most importantly, they did exceptional work for a lot less than I’m used to paying for similar work, and in a reasonable amount of time. When they came back with their list of recommended repairs (like most mechanics) the guy at the front desk walked me through everything and was completely honest about what should probably be done sooner and what could wait a little while, which I appreciated. Phil, the owner, even followed up personally to ensure the work done was to my satisfaction! All around, great shop run by great people - couldn’t recommend more highly and will definitely be returning.

I scheduled an oil change quickly and had a bill written up to sign upon arrival. The amount was more than I thought so I mentioned their local coupon circulating. All was accommodated. They mentioned a few things that could be tuned up. I appreciated that. The cost was about $140 too much for replacing a lug nut on my car that had fallen off within the last 6 months. Went to Autozone and paid $4 for a lug nut. My husband will replace at his tire shop for me. I am unsure if I’ll return. Oil change was quick.

They were able to take care of my car right away, my car needed a routine service. It was so easy to schedule an appointment, I was able to get in and out without any issue. We like their service so much, we got the VIP membership package which is a great deal especially if you have a Mercedes, it’s such a cost effective way to get oil changes and servicing. Absolutely refreshing to find a business like this. We will continue to use them for both our cars.Also - one of the best things about this team is the communication. I can easily schedule appointments, communicate via text/call and they send reminders for upcoming appointments or it’s time for service/etc.

My parents went in for a simple vehicle inspection. They tried to get them to buy a bunch of stuff that wasnt even needed in order for it to pass. On top of that, the guy backed their vehicle into another car that was sitting in the parking lot and tried to tell them he didnt hit it even though they witnessed it happening. And there are dents to prove it. Will be going else where from now on. We preferred this place when it was Tri-County.

I was referred here by my friend who had nothing but great things to say about her experience with a young lady named Jenn who worked at this facility. I came in couple months ago to get air my tires and asked if appointments were required, Jenn had told me no. I came in for an oil change some days ago. And the young man up front who greeted me was very rude & immediately turned me away. Without even asking if was willing to wait or maybe make an appointment.

I would not recommend this outfit to change the oil in a deep fryer. They scammed me on an inspection for a factory window tint. Now they are trying to scam an elderly couple I am friends with on multiple items on an inspection. You would be wise to make other arrangements concerning your vehicle needs. Only 1 star because that is the lowest option. I wouldnt give them any.

Took my 2016 F150 over to get new tires mounted and balanced. They did great work and even pulled the spare from under the bed, mounted the tire, and replaced it in the original location (instead of leaving it in the bed for me to do). Process was quick and painless, dropped it off the night before and everything was done the next day. Thanks guys!

Very honest assessments, recommendations and great staff! Been looking for a trustworthy mechanic and found this place which I highly recommend. Had a Honda Civic that needed a starter replaced and they also identified an issue that I have been trying to fix for over a year. Both the Honda mechanics and another local one in the same area could not narrow down the issue but this place did and now my car runs better than it has in years.

My ac went out and I needed to find a repair shop who accepted my warranty. Thank God this place was on the list but not listed on the warranty website. They diagnosed my problem that morning, got approval from warranty company (with much persistence from Andrew), repaired ac and had my vehicle back the same day. My car had been to two other auto shops, and a transmission shop. After weeks of waiting for them they decided it was an electrical problem. William was able to find the short and fix it within three days. He did an awesome job and let me know What else my car would be needing in the near future and he fixed those items as well as did oil change. I will definitely be returning to them with my automotive needs.

They were able to get my box truck in and done in a timely fashion! Also took time to give me advice on some other things!

My family and I were driving down Hwy 50 and got a flat tire. We were able to make it to this service station and they took great care of us. The staff was awesome and even offered my kids some chalk to draw with while we all waited for the tire to get fixed. The service technician offered advice for the other tires and when to get them changed out versus trying to sell me 4 tires on the spot. I would recommend this place to anyone based on service alone. They even checked on us days later to make sure everything was good to go.

I would never travel such a distance for car work but Im fairly new to the area and a neighbor works there so I gave it a shot. Im so glad I did. I went in without an appointment and needing new tires. Andrew helped me out and getting me out in time to pick up my kids from school. Ill be keeping them as my go to for car maintenance. Its very easy to get to, accessible parking and friendly service. Definitely recommend.

MAN! these guys are awesome! I was planning to leave town on a short notice and had little time to go change my brakes. They were able to fit me in and make an appointment 30 minutes after I called. I drove up and they already had the parts they needed and got to work. Jimmy and Matt were the best!

Excellent service, great and clean facilities. But the best thing is that my Mini 2012 has not felt this good for years. I will definitely be back, as a matter of fact...we just took our other car for service.

I recently purchased a 2007 Toyota Tundra and I was looking to just have someone go through it and tell me what needed to be fixed. The great staff at Garner Lube and tune checked everything and gave me a detailed print out of what they recommended I have repaired and what things were most urgent. I had filters, breaks, rotors and valve cover gaskets done. I am now more confident driving this 5.7 liter beast knowing it was checked out by the awesome people at Garner lube and tune. Its surprisingly hard to find decent people to work on your car without trying to scam you out of money, so it is refreshing to meet mechanics who actually care about the customers satisfaction.

This started out as a very bad experience but thanks to Bill my car is running better then ever! It was great that Andrew followed up with me to make sure everything was going well with the car!

Good service and a nice waiting area.

I made an appointment online for an oil change. I later called to see if I could add an inspection so they asked if I could come in earlier. Upon arrival, they couldnt do the inspection because their machine was locked up (I received no call). Over 30 minutes after my appointment, they finally took my car back for an oil change. When I arrived home I checked the levels and the oil was only filled to the minimum line therefore I have to add more oil personally before my next change is due.

Great experience. I worked with Bill and his knowledge, work ethic, and honesty have earned my repeat business and recommendation.

Great place. Employees are nice and very communicative. Service is quick.
