My oil change was completed in a timely manner. The technician noted my tires needed to be replaced before my car was even back to the garage. I have had several people look at my tires and didnt notice the area that he did. He also explained that an alignment was needed.

Fast is not what I’d call this place. I have them perform the North Carolina State Inspections on all of my cars. They always seem to be in slow motion. Friendly enough though.

Great experience - knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They confirmed what was due to be done and compared what was done recently via CarFax. Loved how thorough they were and how they took the extra steps to not re-do services that were recently performed. I’m a big fan. Thanks.

I loved that the guys brought the air and cabin filters to me (for my inspection) when they asked if Id like them replaced. They were quick, professional, and friendly. When I remarked about my lack of timeliness in having the oil changed (Covid) the technician offered to adjust my car settings to alert me when I need my next oil change based on the recommendations that accompany the oil blend they used. Nice!

Went to get my yearly inspection & was greeted as soon as I had put my car in park. Very friendly & professional staff. It took all of about 7 minutes for the inspection. Even when I get my oil change I’m always surprised at how quick they are.

I brought my car in for an oil change and an inspection. Even though they seemed busy, they got the job done pretty quickly. Also, they were very friendly and professional. Ill definitely use Fast Lube Plus again.

Had to pay $123 for an oil change on an old vehicle because we used synthetic oil. Needless to say if I knew how much they would charge me I would never have had it done. I could have done it myself for less than half this amount. Who would pay $100 + for an oil change. I found out after the fact that the base price was $96.00 and I was charged 2 extra quarts of oil because my vehicle took more than 5 quarts. No signage or listing of prices. Manager stated new owners have raised prices 3 times in the last year. I can tell you that they lost a 20 + year customer. Anyone who reads this should ASK their prices BEFORE using their services..I didn’t realize I couldn’t trust them.

Went for state inspections for two vehicles this year. They did not try to up-sell anything and were very fast and courteous. A+ service and very appreciated!

Its one of the worst places Ive been to. They give me a reason as to why they cant do the service on whatever vehicle I bring in and then their overpriced as well.

I went for an inspection for my vehicle so I can get it registered and NC plates. The gentleman that came to my vehicle to find out what service I needed. When I told him what I was looking for and the reason why, he was completely honest and told me that as a new resident to NC I wont need an inspection before I register. I appreciate the honesty and integrity of this gentleman. I will be back when it is time for that inspection!

The quality of communication is lacking at this service center. The service tech didnt tell me my vehicle failed inspection until after I payed and he was giving me the receipt. He says by the way your vehicle failed inspection and I asked why didnt you say this at the beginning of our transaction, he says you still would have to pay and I said and I would have still payed. As I was standing by vehicle to leave the tech and his coworkers laughed in unison and I felt it was about me. Im unsure, but today was my last time going to Fast Lube on 40 Technology Drive Garner, NC to service any of my vehicles.

I wouldnt personally say its worth the price, but the staff is friendly and, at least for an oil change, the service is incredibly fast. Their window sticker is absolutely gigantic though and I could not hate it more.

Went in for state inspection. I found the service to be fast, friendly, and professional. The prices seemed fair.Only potential concern I found was in the bathroom, where the toilet didnt seem to really flush. This may have been a one-off, just seemed worth mentioning.

Visited on a Saturday morning for Oil Change and NC State Inspection. The had one empty bay when I arrived,. I told the gentleman what I needed. Once they had my vehicle in the bay, the gentleman returned and told me I have 2700 miles left before I need an oil change, do I still want one? I told him it has been a year, so yes, I want the oil changed for peace of mind. I really admire the fact that they tried to talk me out of a service they didnt think I needed. Exactly 26 minutes later I was all set. New Mobil-1 Synthetic Oil Change + State Inspection.Quick, Honest, Fair Priced. Cant ask for more. Would highly recommend.

They didnt do half of the services they say they did. I was on and out in 10 minutes. Not friendly. They didnt bother to reset the oil life monitor either. Just a poor experience

This is my go-to place for an oil change. I took my Chevy Colorado truck here for a state inspection and it was a quick process.

I went in for my state inspection. I was there for maybe 30 minutes. I paid $13. I wish the waiting room was a little bigger. Other than that the employees were nice.

No appointment needed and work done quickly. Face masks and distancing practiced also.

The service was great but when I showed them my badge for the first responder discount that they offer on the website, they said it’s only for nurses and doctors. I have no problem with the discount for nurses and doctors, but this should be clear before people decide to go here for the discount. After speaking with the managers, they fixed the miscommunication about the discount. All first responders receive the discount. I really appreciate the customer service that I received and I recommend Fast Lube Plus for vehicle service needs.

After receiving two $15 coupons to come back to Fast Lube Plus I took two of my commercial work vans (same model) within two day and was charged two different prices. I called Mark to point his out and I was told my driver was asked to put synthetic in the second visit which escalated the price $20. My drivers were never asked on both visit what type of oil to use. I asked for a $20 credit and was told I was being rude to Mark. I repeated I was just looking for a $20 credit which was denied. I own three commercial vehicles which annually get oil change once a month. 3 x 12 which is 36 times a year. I suppose $20 was too much to ask for when the customer is right. Ive told my family and friend not to go there. It is your typical auto repair shop upcharging everything that comes in the door.

Claimed my truck couldnt be inspected. I explained to them what DMV stated, on two separate occasions. Went elsewhere and my truck PASSED. Incompetent nothing less.

This place is where you go to get your car inspected if you want to be in and out. I was extremely happy not to wait more than 15 minutes.

This place beats all other shops. They are fast and reliable and they will get the job done. They even vacuum your car after each oil change with a coupon. Also, I love the fact that they have coupons for every month that are for oil change and brake services.

I have been to your shop a number of times and have always been satisfied wit the work and the way you are greeted and treated by the staff. I plan to return.

This place is good for the basics but dont trust their upsell. They told my wife she needed an alignment and she went and got it done elsewhere. The other mechanic said her wheels were perfectly straight and no alignment was needed. They are quick with oil changes and inspections which is why Im keeping it 4 stars.

BEWARE! Ill never use them again. Last year we took our Dodge Durango to get the A/C recharged. They called to say that we had a leak (I believe it was the Compressor, but could be wrong) ... when we picked it up they still charged us $119 ... the total cost, less a discount coupon to fully recharge our system! (A Mechanic friend, Lexus & Infiniti trained, said they would have seen the leak and should have evacuated the Freon back out and just charged us for 1 hr labor). Yep, never going there again!

I just want to say a big Thank you to the crew at this location. My wife and I have been to this location and we both received service beyond our expectations. James Taylor(Manager) really has his crew performing top notch work. Steve Figard was very knowledgeable and friendly. Jamie Green had me laughing with his sense of humor and made it more like visiting old friends instead of car maintenance. I highly recommend this location. They really can take care of every need. Oil changes, state inspections, brakes and repairs, just to name a few and even have a touch free car wash on site. The service was fast and thorough. I look forward to seeing this crew next service and will tell everyone to stop in for a great experience.

I show up to get an oil change. There was no wait. I requested a basic oil change. Walked in and sat down.A few minutes later, a gentleman walks into waiting area.....says my vehicle has only been to there location for an inspection and asks which oil I would like. I told him.They proceed to do my oil change. 10 minutes or so passed and I see the gentleman checking my inside cabin filter.....I stand up and stick my head out the door and say, no need to check other filters......I must have made him upset by saying that!They complete my oil change, the same gentleman walks in to ring me up. Tells me my total and then states.......next time, ask for a half service oil change so you dont waste our time. I was like WOW.On top of all that, beware of there prices......the $42.99 oil change is really $51.70 plus tax. They have a small A frame on there counter stating the extra fees. My extra fees were special filter charge for $3, $4.72 for Mobil Special SAE 5W-20 oil, & .99 for shop supply Fee. WOW!So total out the door was $55.19.Everyone has bad days, maybe I did something to upset these people.......not sure. Just beware. I suggest going elsewhere.

Fast and friendly. Came here for oil change and tire rotation. They already had two cars in the bay when I showed up. I didnt have enough time to really relax in their waiting area before it was time to pay and go. Super quick!!

Brought my car here for an oil change and inspection. Within 30 minutes of leaving the car was jumping badly whenever I accelerated and the engine light came on. When I took it back they looked at it for about two minutes and told me everything with the oil change was fine and that they got a code for a bad oxygen sensor or something, that I would have to take it somewhere else. This seemed odd considering they had just inspected it, but I took them for their word.I immediately took it to another auto garage and they got a completely different code (picture attached) and said that it had something to do with the engine. They assumed that they had done something wrong with the oil change so they went ahead and changed it again. They said that they noticed also that the oil filter did not look like the one that should have been put on. After they re-changed the oil everything was fine, the car drove perfectly, and the engine light was gone. One week later and I still have not had any problems.I called to let them know what happened and the manager was a complete jerk. I guess I learned my lesson on this one.

Pretty quick/efficient given how busy they were. 4 stars because the waiting room smells bad, and they didnt reset my oil change indicator.

I went in for an inspection. They tried to tell me I was registered in another county. I wasnt. Then they told me the work I had done on my car recently made the sensors not register so they couldnt compete the inspection. I havent had any work done on my car in 3 yrs beyond the requisite oil changes, and tire rotation. I drove to another/ different retailer that same day and had ZERO issues. 5 miles up the road and everything is good. I dont know what these guys are doing or not doing, but its a waste of time to even bother.

Extremely friendly and fast service!! Thinking they were opened until 5pm on Saturdays, I accidentally went in to get an inspection 5 minutes before closing at 4pm. Most people would express frustration with the customer but these guys were friendly and forgiving. Will return!

Check engine light came on a few hours after an oil change...tried taking it back and they said everything was fine with it, and they couldnt fix it. I ended up having to take my car elsewhere. I wouldnt have even written a review but the staff was unbelievably rude to me when I went back. I would 100% NOT reccomend this place to anyone.

Theyre a great shop with really fast service. The prices are good too.
